We loved the Vic Hotel in Tallangatta! We were looking for a good feed after a long drive. And the Vic certainly delivered. We still had a 5 hour drive ahead of us. So it was the perfect place to stop and recharge. The staff were super friendly too. Cold beer, great food. Highly recommend.

Welcoming staff and great food to summarize things up. It had two areas at the back of the pub, a deck and a grass area. On the deck it can get a little warm if there's no wind outside. Also, the pub is dog friendly and you can go with your pup on either the deck or grass, not inside. Aircon inside is perfect during the summer days.

Great customer service. We had a drink and some chips. The publican generously allowed us to plug in our little electric vehicle for a slow charge while we were there. Highly recommend.

Fabulous customer service!! Without a booking we arrived with 8 people for dinner, with only 15 minutes to spare until closure of the kitchen. We had the best food and drinks, stayed well into the later evening. Chantal perfectly looked after us in a very professional way. Thank you very much Chantal!

Needing a much needed night we headed to the Vic for a meal, myself and and my city folk family couldn’t of asked for a better night out, the parmies are an 11 out of 10, the staff lovely and patient. I’d highly recommend this pub to any hungry person out there, I’ve no doubt their takeaway would be just as good. Ow and left overs because no way could I eat it all in one go were great for lunch the next day.... thanks guys 😊

Just finished tea. Garlic prawns (entree size) and beef schnitzel. Good serves and tasty. Salad was fresh and colourful. Hotel staff friendly and courteous. Large family gathering there when we were eating and our orders arrived with little delay.

Hospitable and helpful. Meal was OK, not spectacular. Room was small and VERY cold with no heating in Winter. We were able to park our motorcycles in the shed which kept the frost off. I would stay there again.

First time stay won't be the last in this large comfortable hotel. Comfortable single bed and clean communal shower room. The quality of food was good with no complaints in our small group. Once again great value at a country pub. Biker friendly with parking in large shed.

Nice, small pub. Friendly staff, chatty locals. Nice cool place for a inexpensive meal and a reasonable selection of tapped refreshments. You can sit outside or try the comfortable lounge. Very close to the main street. Reasonable parking too.
