J. B.Honestly one of the best pubs I’ve ever been to. Million dollar views , huge portions, great beer selection and lovely staff. Heaven on earth as far as I’m concerned. I can not recommend enough .
G. B.We had our intimate wedding reception outside on the grassed area which was absolutely magical. The set up was immaculate, views of Wye River were beautiful and staff were friendly, professional and so very helpful. Very happy with the service provided and the delicious food which was a big hit with us and our guests.
T. G.You come here for the view. Coz it really is breathtaking. The fried mushrooms were delicious. The chicken bites and fennel salad my hubby enjoyed. The eggplant was ok. You can't book here so you just have to hope you can get a table and a parking spot in Summer. It's definitely worth a visit. Wye River is a really beautiful part of the Great Ocean Rd. And this pub is a great spot.

There are ample menu options including some great vegan options - which is a hard find around here, The service is friendly and the prices are about what you would expect. If you are a drinker, there are lots of local brews. Was here around 12 months ago and was not overly impressed - it has definitely improved! Thank you :)

Great view but a bit pricey for a pub and some meals are far too small when compared to the huge serve of other menu items. (Traveled with family)

a. m.Great selection of beers and view of the ocean. Lost start because the expensive $30 Parma was soggy and had obviously been sitting around for a while, the chip amount of average and the salad was just a few leafy greens....basically underwhelming for the price.

C. T.Just about my favourite place on earth to kick back and have a beer! Yep, it's right up there that's for sure. Definitely top three, but if I had to decide if it came in as my 1st, 2nd or 3rd favourite place on earth to have a beer, then it probably beats kicking back on a riverboat cruising down the Nile which would come in at #3, but it's not quite sensational enough to claim the title of my number 1, absolute favourite place on the entire planet to kick back with a frothy. That distinction goes to Robbo's shed.

F. D.Warm and welcoming on a cold night. The parmi was quite good the beer battered fish perfectly cooked. The salad, though, was underwhelming. A handful of green leaves with a light overly sweet dressing wafted past it, no other veg in it at all.

T. C.Exceptional coffee. The only place i know with a true lever espresso machine, Rancilio Z9. This is seriously fantastic coffee, whether it is a rich creamy ristretto or the common latte. Better than any coffee I have had in Melbourne. It is worth a trip for the coffee and the view.
P.Nice spot with great views, and Frankie's a great dog too, grub maybe a little pricier than other pubs, but you won't complain about the taste
J. t.We really love this family run pub. The meals are cooked well, good quality local produce, with a decent variety and size. The views out to the beach and sea are absolutely amazing.
They pride themselves in offering great Australian made wine and beer at very reasonable prices. There's plenty of car parks as well as ample seating indoors and outdoors. Also there is an ATM available inside.
I highly recommend this pub.
N. S.The beer selection is fabulous. The menu is very limited and tries way too hard to be chic and is very expensive. Wonderful views, but here is a tip guys, rotten shade umbrellas are not shabby chic, they are just shabby.

R.A really great pub. Awesome sea/beach views, really good meals that are better than the average pub fare, and a great selection of Australian beer and wine. The staff are friendly and aim to please. It's actually because of the pub we've been coming back to Wye River for over 10 years now rather than trying out some other towns. Love it!

A. M.Fantastic place for a drink or meal 🥘 located on the hill. If you don’t have Telstra reception there is free wifi to entertain the kids. The meals are priced very well and there is a large selection of drinks on offer. The view is also spectacular you don’t need anything more than that. Look out for the resident kookaburra 👍🏻
L. B.Presently surprised with the quality of food, selection of beers and friendly staff. We dined with our 18 month old, so want to highlight to others without kids that the place is teeming with children from 6pm on weekends due to the proximity of the caravan parks. Great if you have kids, however, don't expect a romantic dinner for two while its feeding time for kids!
T. L.The kitchen consistently produces excellence. So happy we stopped - (twice.) The sign out front offering "motel meals" does not do them any favours. The quality of steak and prep was par elsewhere twice the price. The kale pesto salad fresh yet rich. Try the blue-eye - not locally sourced I believe, nonetheless excellent. Vantage is stunning. Highly recommend the food.

H. 7.One staff member lacking enthusiasm but for one chef to cook amazing meals like so I really do give him 5 stars he had roughly 25 meals to cook all on his own and he definitely aced ours, whilst prices are a little high I guess it's to be expected in this location. We had the fish and the parma and the kids fish all was amazing. Well done for handling the kitchen on your own without loosing the plot =) and handing out perfection

S.Had an amazing experience! Gorgeous views, kid friendly (no play area or anything but there is one pinball machine, you're just not frowned upon if you have them there). We literally only came here for dinner because the steak was $2 cheaper then the other place we were looking at. And my god! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Steak was plate-lickingly delightful! Staff were prompt and helpful and had our meals out lickety split considering it was busy with a wedding party. Very very impressed and definitely worth going back!

T.We simply love this place, the family owned and run business is iconic in the seaside town of Wye River, always good to grab a local beverage, food is great and you really can't fault the views, rain hail or shine, it's a special place to visit. We holiday there regularly and always eat at the pub!
T. R.Last night we visited the Wye River Hotel and i had the Grilled Lamb Rack. The lamb (3 pieces) was cooked to perfection and the grilled Zucchini rounds, pearl couscous with peas, pomegranate and mint salad and eggplant puree was delicious. My husband had the chicken Parma which was a bit dry but plenty of the cheese, ham and Napoli sauce topping. Compliments to the chef for the delicious Lamb 😃

Still a very decent beer & wine list, yet the food left a bit to be desired. Over fried fish 'n' chips and a bland burger with very basic fillers like one leaf of limp lettuce.

The place is beautiful, the people who attend it are efficient and very educated and it is not very expensive for what is carried in this area (three coffees, 12 AUD).
