One of my favorite bars 🍸 when I come to visit Perth. An overall great atmosphere with a great selection of European 🇪🇺 Beers on Tap. Friendly Bar staff too which is rare these days. Keep up the great work 👍

I only went here for a few drinks but I really liked the place. Drinks are well priced and the venue is very large, offering the ability to sit either inside, out by the street or in the back which has hearing provided and covering from the elements. If I had more time, I would loved to get a meal here.

Had my 50th Birthday party here last night. Fantastic!!! Couldn't have picked a better spot to hold it. Naomi was a fabulous coordinator and made sure our every need was catered for. Not a single complaint from my guests. I was blown away by the platters (see pic) and the food was delicious. Can't praise the Belgian Beer Cafe crew enough. They even packed up the leftovers for us. Such a wonderful experience!

Beer on tap wasn't bad. Service took so long the beer had aged by the time of arrival. However was still cold. Pizza was pretty damn good. Just plan your night accordingly.

It's a very popular spot, especially this time of year. You will need a reservation if you want a spot out the back in the under cover courtyard area. Great for xmas drinks and catch up. Not too noisy

6/11/21. Dropped in today for a late lunch. I've been going here for lunch and dinner on and off for absolute years. I've never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the value for money. It has a good range of beers but I was a bit disappointed that there is no Heineken 3 today given the types of beer the bar covers. It has become my goto place in the CBD for a reliably good meal with a couple of beers. The staff are always friendly and helpful and right on point. A good meeting point for a trip into town. This place never disappoints.

Went in to try their food & beer. However, the beer we wanted to try from the beer menu wasn’t available on the day. We ordered Fish & Chips and Burrata dish for lunch. The fish & chips has huge portion & decent fish. Sadly the tartare sauce has lack of flavour. Burrata was alright with their honey black garlic sauce & tomato pesto but the grilled sourdough was very stale & dry so it made the whole dish sad. The temperature inside the pub was so high since it was a very hot day when we went in. Probably no air conditioning to keep the indoor dining area cool Overall, pretty average experience.

My favourite bar in all of Perth, great food and excellent beers, can't fault it. I was there with a bunch of friend's a couple of weeks ago, we were served by a guy named Tiago, he was first class, great service, even when me and my friend's were drunk he treated us like gentleman, he truly has the patience of a saint. Would recommend any one with a desire for fine beer, good food and great service to go and check this place put.

Best European beers on tap collection.. As a ritual everytime I visit Perth this place is a must go.. Very Bavarian/ Belgium feel to the place as well.. Highly recommend it.. Prices are little on the higher side though.. but you wont get Leffe Brune anywhere else on tap!

Belgian beers cafe has been around for many years and still has its character great place to have a beeer with friends. A pint of Stella cost you 9 bucks but if you go on a Tuesday you can get a pint of Stella and mussels for 15 bucks it's a great value for money. Mussels were really good cooked in a white sauce, really tasty. The chef's did a great job. I will be back for more.

Beer and mussels? Say no more. Was drinking my all time favorite beer, Belle-vue Kriek along a pot of very well steamed and delicious mussels with a side of frites while chilling outdoor on a lovely breezy Sunday afternoon, life couldn't get any better. Nice little beer garden out back. Preferred the seating on the front pavement, there are ample of indoor seatings. Good selection of beer and friend staff. Really want another Belle-vue Kriek just writing this review 😁

I've saved this place for a must-visit one cu my friend recommended me to. Last saturday, on my first visit, I had a lovely time with friends. They offer a surprisingly cheap special menu of the day and it was a chicken parmy with pint sized Stella last time only at $18, which I guess would be the most inexpensive meal and drink set available around the city. Honestly, parmy was not my thing though, I'd looove to go there again to grab the great beer and try some other specials later. Cheers guys🍻😁

Had brunch with my partner here, he had steak and chips which was cooked to perfection! I had the lemon cured salmon and tgis dish Is amazing, wow. The beer garden area we sat in was beautiful, the hanging plants and murals on the walls add so much to the atmosphere 😊 We've never tried to yell through to the kitchen that their food was great but we did this time! Smoking area is located inside the backyard of the pub. Friends and I went looking for a place for them to smoke and that pub had a hidden smoking area away from public view. Separate DJ was also playing in the smoking area. Food? Didn't order anything but other customers food did look amazing

Can't beat it for a Belgian beer and frites! Grab a seat in the outside beer garden if possible. Gets pretty packed after work on a Friday, but still a great spot for a drink to wind down. Thursday nights have a range of half price Belgian beers! Try a Blanche De Namur, you won't regret it ;)

I enjoy the Belgium its been part of Perth furniture and I'm sure most Perthians have been there at some point. Many beers on tap, weekly specials, beer garden and restaurant. Foods always been satisfying and the portions really decent. It has some history and it doesn't always feel like the cleanest place to be having a meal but for me its ok once in a while.

Great place to stay if your attending a show at Perth Arena or just visiting Perth in general . Very central to all of perths sites and transport. Great communication to get the code for the entrance to the hotel. Once in you have to follow the stairs to the foyer where you can enjoy a welcome drink while you use the phone to contact staff to check in. You get a choice of breakfast packs . We were shown to our room which was very comfortable And also given another complimentary drink voucher to use in the bar down stairs great choice of food and drinks . You get a bit of noise from the bar but still have a good night sleep. Would stay again no problem.

Food was good (especially the mussels in white wine and cream, and the Belgian mash), if a bit on the pricey side. Waitress made a mistake with our leftovers (disposed of it instead of boxing it) but the manager was most apologetic.

I understand the bar has to be aware of intoxicated people, but Mercedes (bar attendant) was a bit rude saying she refused drinks to my friend, when it was other people in the group that had already had their limit, not him - basically be aware that if you are with other people that have been drinking, you might yourself also be rejected to have drinks!

So amazing!!! Great vibe and super kind staff, everyone had a great positive personality which is always so good to see. I have been there a few times and one of those times I caught up with my girlfriend and we played some scrabble in the corner of the tables and drank some amazing drinks whipped up for us by the staff. The atmosphere was so homey and made for quite a romantic but casual, comfy experience.

On my 4th visit here on Thursday night, the drinks were spectacular as always, particularly the Belle-Vue Kriek. A delicious cherry Beer. On previous visits, the food was fantastic; it was good this time but not quite as good as the last few visits. The menu has drifted to more basic pub food. However, the service was excellent and the highlight. Our waiter Callum was super friendly, attentive and an absolute joy. We will be sure to return, and please pass this onto him.

Is this the best of everything in Australia. As a special purpose dining room set in this low key, handsome venue, everything excels. The food is very good, some excellent and very reasonable in price. There are nightly predetermined specials and whilst I was there a complimentary large glass of Stella Artoise to back it up. Service, both bar and restaurant, is efficient and engaging. For once the mix adds up to make it ideal. Nothing over the top. Nothing pretentious. Just plain darn good.

We & some friends called in without a reservation & obtained a table at our request a bit further away from the main bar area which was a little loud both with music and voices. The décor resembles very much a Belgian style eatery. Staff were very efficient & friendly. Our meals came out in good time but not rushed. The steaks that 2 of us selected were excellent and cooked perfectly. The pork belly and the crispy salmon were just as good as were the desserts that followed. There is more to the menu than that available on line. Check out the steaks! This is a very convenient dining location for anyone staying in the CBD of Perth.

Located around a 5 minute walk away from the Perth underground this is one of my favourite pubs in the city of Perth. Their wide range of European beers is a treat to any beer lover if they aren't a hardcore VB lover. Their tasting plate is a great option to discover what style of beer you like. Not only is the beer here good but the food is amazing too. Overall this venue has a great atmosphere with great staff and great beer.

Yes, you're a beer snob... I get it. I got a hello and sorta smile from the other fella. Atmosphere on a Sunday seems pretty vibrant. No tables available outside which is a good sign. Food looks good and I wouldn't normally leave a review without eating, but I'm enjoying one of the most powerful and tasty stouts I've had in years (Sea Devil), and am on my way after. Cheers!

But now, after they removed Leffe from happy hours, they have removed Leffe from tap completely. Breaks my heart giving an average score for a place with the best beers. I had the lunch special the "Healthy Bowl"and I'm not sure what I just eaten.... it was just absolute rubbish. What a disappointment. Tasted like the quinoa was 2 days old, the sweet potatoes were dry and tasteles, the pomegranate seeds sitting in the fridge too long and went stale, Which all sounded great on the menu. But don't be fooled. Only reason I'm giving 3 redemption stars is my wife tacos were pretty good for the price. Also let's not forget when you serve Belgium beer its hard to beat. (Expect the overpriced beers)

The beer offerings were not as extensive as I was hoping, but it was reasonable. Beers were served in lovely brandy-style glasses, in keeping with Belgian tradition. Interior decor lovely and cosy with an uncommon retro warmth, whilst also being delightfully ventilated on a hot spring night. Cusine very good and reasonably priced. It felt a bit understaffed the night I visited, with a few lengthy waits to order at the bar. Recommended for those with Euro-nostalgia or simply tired of the usual Aussie offerings.

Had my 30th birthday in the Le Roi function room. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful - especially our bartender Jake. They arranged for a microphone to be set up for speakers and allowed us to play our own music. The food platters we ordered were very nice. Great experience overall.

Always enjoy going to the Belgian Beer Cafe. Beer is very good and so is the food, though their share platter has reduced in size over the years (in my opinion). They also have a fine dining section if you feel like a more fancy meal. The food in the restaurant part is delicious. Disclaimer The review above is merely my opinion. So positives: chips are amazing! Other person I went with said the steak was also amazing. Apparently the beer is great as well. Negatives: I ordered the ribs. They were drowned in sauce which would've been nice if I had liked it. The meat itself was tough and got stuck in my teeth, couldn't even get a cocktail stick to get it out. The bar itself was loud as and I left with a splitting headache. (NOTE: this may be because we went at lunchtime on the day of the Man U match) Would only go again to test out the waffles.

They do have really good deal and all the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The place is big with backyard, smoking area, restaurant side and inside bar area. We even book for a birthday's function with some amazing platters, everything was well organized. It's great value for money ! I strongly recommend this place during your stay in Perth.

Highly recommended. *Originally five stars but the subsequent bar service has been appalling, particularly the tall chap with redish hair. Other posters have commented on beer snobbery. I think it's more lack of pride in your work... Such a shame. We all have bad days, but those who are customer facing have to at least make an effort. To go out of your way to describe your elaborate process of preparing and washing the glass, pouring the beer and the cutting off the head shows respect to the traditional craft, and after all, it's what makes this place unique. Slapping a pint glass down with nearly two inches of head and no eye contact deters custom and is akin to freshers week at uni. Lovely food. Lovely beer. Sub-par management. Such a shame.

So friendly, huge place, plenty of seating inside and out and you feel so welcome. Not in the cheesy "have a nice day" kinda way, like they actually care. Beer is amaze. Food is awesome. Deffo recommend

Food tastes great and they have a decent menu to choose from as well. However come here when it's really busy and it's horrible. Have been to this place 2-3 times a week for the past month or so as have been visiting Perth for work and am staying nearby. 5 out of 5 for food, ambience and most of the staff. Delightful crew and excellent food. However there is one young blonde women there who has seriously got an attitude problem. I have had a number of encounters with her over the month. Most of the time she is not particularly friendly, but not offensive either. Put it down to a bad day. But tonight, as I was delivered my meal, I made a comment that I had not expected fries (as had been discussed with the person I ordered with) - I was told, quite rudely, "this is what you ordered". I don't particularly care what I end up with food wise, but that response was appalling. How does she know what I ordered? Perplexing.

We have fun here but it does seem to take a long time to get served when it's not busy

A very limited menu in the restaurant. No options for vegetarian food. Only risotto. Prices compared to the better cafes and restaurants around it, a very inflated. $16 for a pint is a bit rich. Meals were of a decent size though. Overall it's average at best. Look elsewhere as there are loads of other good pubs and restaurants very close by that offer much better value.

Took my Belgian friends here and they found the selection and quality of the beers on offer less than average... the interior has seen better days for sure, the exterior seems to attract cat calling tradies and we changed tables twice due to mosquitoes seemingly breeding under the tables - inside!

It's the spot for casual drinkers and people looking to start their night either singing with the live acoustic acts they host or sitting in a booth further away from the bar. Very nice selection of Beers, However let's it's self down with exorbitant prices. One or two is enough before you will want to spend your money at cheaper places.
