Had a rump today. It was without a doubt the best steak, restaurant or pub that I have had in a long time. I don't know who cooked it, I don't know where the beef came from but it was delicious. Hats off to the chef and thanks to the always caring and helpful staff.

We came in today for lunch and I was really impressed. The quality of the food we were served was some of the best I’ve had in a tavern in Perth. I had the salt and pepper squid which was amazing and for once in a venue was actually prepared from scratch and not out of a freezer bag. My mate had the parmi with pork belly and jalapeños. Boy it was HUGE! You staff are so friendly and genuinely courteous and attentive. The way they worked the floor today is a credit to them and your establishment. We gave our praise at the register which was passed on directly to the chef in front of us. I like that! Watching his knife skills through the pass as he effortlessly trimmed lamb racks really did tell me why you food is so incredible. Thanks and we will be back and we’ll bring our friends.

Again my family and I have had an amazing experience at the High Wycombe Tavern! The food is always incredible and the staff always go above and beyond! We rocked up 30minutes late for our dinner reservation due to unforeseen circumstances and was advised by the staff that the kitchen was closing. They have kindly kept the kitchen open and provided us with another fantastic meal and service. They didn't rush us and were beyond friendly and professional. I cannot talk highly enough about this tavern. It never disappoints. THANK YOU AGAIN HIGH WYCOMBE 😁

Been here few times last year didn't leave with any good impression and declining each visit. Was hesitant but revisited it again finally today for lunch with family. The High Wycombe Tavern have very good lunch time specials at $15, however the quality isn't amazing. I've still gone a fair amount. The location is what you'd expect and there's a decent outdoor area. The outdoor TV is very dated so I wouldn't go to watch any important games.

No vegan options, I ordered a vegetarian pizza with no cheese to make it vegan, which they accidentally put bacon on.. and when I informed the waitress about this she was a bit salty about it saying; "Well lucky it was only one piece then." Used to be fantastic value for money but I think they must have changed cooks in the last few months. The menu is mostly the same but it's very cheaply made, nowhere near the quality it was and four of us did not enjoy our meals the other night. The manager doesn't like to hear anything negative. Oh, and the minimum $20 eftpos is insanely annoying if you're meeting friends and want to buy your own drink. One staff member literally got caught trying to run my card through for $19 and the bar manager caught her and stopped it. Nice meeting place otherwise with indoor and outside seating. The pizzas are good value.

We placed our order at 12.58 and it was finally served at 2.06. 3 of us ordered the steak medium, It came to us well done. Another ordered the Calamari which was quite clearly under cooked. After waiting for over an hour we were all too hungry to 'send it back' The Pizza was nice, When the Manager discovered we were not happy, he just threw a 'dirty' look our way instead of resolving the issues. Will not be going back here again for a meal. A positive note is that this place is child friendly with little activity packs for the children.

Came here for my birthday dinner. The staff were great (mostly) and no complaints on the food quality. My mum and I got the buy 1 get 1 free ribs special. I did feel that the servings were actually small considering I also managed to eat half a pizza on top of the ribs. I wouldn’t of been happy if that was my main meal costing $27. We then went onto have the Caramel Cheesecake. I don’t think it was a cheese cake, however the cream that came with it was sour/off. The staff member was a bit abrupt rather than apologetic when we told them however the manager was quick to apologise and not charge us for them. I would return to try again and hopefully next time we don’t have any issues.

Went to visit the Tavern to watch a PPV event. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was great (ordered the Swiss burger, which looked and tasted great) but I felt that the bar was understaffed as queue line were long. As well, breakfast ended at 10:30 and the kitchen was unavailable for an hour before you could order from the main menu. Overall a good experience and venue.

Came to the Tavern for the first time in years. Got seated straight away and was served within minutes of sitting. WE ordered our drinks and meals. As one host left with our orders, another arrived with our drinks. We ordered the Bruschetta and Garlic Bread as an entree. The Bruschetta was lovely but unfortunately there was way too much tomato, not enough Spanish onions and Balsamic Vinegar dressing. The toast was way too hard to cut and would've been better on the bread that they used for the garlic bread, which, was OK but not as good as The Boab Tavern's. Miss 15 ordered the Loaded Fries minus Jalapenos, I ordered the Pork Belly and hubby ordered Scotch Fillet - medium rare. They came out and were large servings. The fries were excellent but very filling. Husband's steak had a mushroom sauce and salad - although the salad was more of a coleslaw. My pork Belly didn't have apple sauce (which is sacrilege) and they don't serve with it. 2 large pieces, overcooked and dry, the mash had something mixed in it (still don't know what it was) and the gravy was very dark and strong tasting. The only thing worth eating off my plate was the crackling. The service we got regarding my meal was, without a doubt, fantastic. They apologized profusely and when it came to pay, my dish wasn't there. All in all, was a great place to eat, the atmosphere was great and we had noticed that quite a few of the chairs are in desperate need of either replacing or re-upholstered due to many tears and holes. The prices were much better here than at the Boab and the service was excellent. Other than my meal, I couldn't fault the place at all.

The High Wycome Tavern is a great concept for families and casual drinkers tradies etc for after work drinks which offers well priced meals with large portions and beers specials. The only thing is the owner needs to start to spend a few dollars on sprucing the place up the chairs in the dining area and the bar area are all flogged with bits missing off the arm rests and seats and the place just needs a good spring clean. Spend a few dollars!

Great beer and wine choices. The prices are very reasonable. Been there many times and keep going back for more.

Food and drinks here are very cheap, and they have great specials. Must be the only pub left in Perth where you can get a pint of proper beer under $5. I love the High Wycombe Tav. This place has great prices and great food. The Wicky $18 burger and chips is amazing, ask for it with a side of aoli. The $5.90 monthly pint is always a good drop and it's impossible to find pints that price anywhere these days. And $5 captain Morgan and mixer is a ridiculously good deal. I love the Wicky Tav and everyone else will too.
