This place is something special, went here for our anniversary meal and were blown away by the service and quality of the food staff were friendly and attentive and the service was seamless. Whilst not the cheapest venue, they definately delivered and the price was justified as the food was of a high standard and cooked to perfection, the taste was outstanding. Cannot wait to go back

We celebrated my husband's birthday here for dinner recently with a large group and had a wonderful time. There was some slight confusion when we first arrived as I had wanted to order their 'half-price pizzas after 8pm' special, and I had spoken to someone on the phone about it at the time of booking, however, it was no longer running on the day of our booking. The manager, Luke, spoke to the chef about it and agreed to still run the special for us which we appreciated very much!! A very big thank you to our wonderful waitress Nelmarie who went above and beyond to make sure that we had a pleasant experience. She was friendly and efficient and we were extremely happy with her 5-star service. Thank you Nelmarie! Overall, good food, good atmosphere and great customer service. Highly recommend.

Only giving 3 stars because of the awesome staff, greeted by a very friendly young lady that helped us to a table. Then when ordering another friendly young man, that didn't get flustered when the EFTPOS went down, and handled the situation very professionally. As for the food I would only give 2 stars, and that was only for my sons Angus Burger, only good meal. Both kids tenders were very average, and the $79 share board, was terrible, the steak was tuff and chewy and the wings had a odd taste. Then a couple of slapped together pork burgers, with some sort of potato salad and chips. Great service, not good food.

I took my wife & daughter here for a late lunch on Easter Monday, a sunny day & we had no booking. It was busy , even at 2pm. Our meals turned up 40 mins after ordering. Understandable. No booking. Sunny. But, (only) mine was stone cold. I told the waiter. Within 5 mins I had a hot replacement. FANTASTIC RECOVERY. Well done team!

Our party of 10 had a wonderful dining experience on a very busy Friday night recently. Not only was our food awesome the lady who was looking after our table (with a South African accent) was super attentive, efficient, helpful and informative. 10 stars for her professionalism!!!

Went there this week to celebrate my 2yo grandaughters birthday .....party of 5 inc child. Staff were really helpful getting us organised at a more appropriate table than the one they had reserved for us. Food was really tasty and well prepared and we all enjoyed. Beers & ginger beer were also delish. The only thing i didnt like and i wouldnt go back there because of was the staff insisting on physically holding one of our credit cards just in case we skipped out I felt quite humiliated at being treated like some "dodgy out of towners". We were only told of this after we had all bought drinks and were seated of course. After the girl that took my card disappeared to the bar with it she returned immediately only to wave it in my face telling me it was expired. I had to actually show her how to read the card dates much to her embarrassment as it was in fact still well in date. Looks like its back to the boat.............

The Indi has been our local since it opened. Pizzas were always the go to and still kill it, they're awesome. The Brewery pumps out some of the finest ales around Perth, kudos to Jack (Fruitulus made the world a better place). This is not to take anything away from Tom's current brew wizardry that continues at the Indi. The only criticism I have...when's ya Bean Burger coming back? The one with the tempura veg and spicy dipping sauce...love the bean

What a crack of a place! The food was amazing, I had the wagu burger and my daughter got the kids chicken and chips. The burger was cooked perfectly and my not tomato actually got through to the kitchen (unlike many other places) my daughter's chicken was actually really breast chicken. Now on to the beer list, I was lucky they just released two beers today. So I got a tasting paddle with the fruitulus, sessions red and Brett not Brett sour, all three beers were great especially the sessions red! Keep up the good work brewers! Staff were fantastic and very helpful with beer choice and we're very attentive!

Great venue, big decent meals, good customer service behind the bar but could have made things better by offering assistance with a birthday cake, and even could offer a birthday sign or table cloth as your not allowed to have balloons. i was disappointed at the Intransigent attitude of the serving staff when I requested two pints of IPA at 5.45 (within the Happy hour) with delivery of the first immediate and the second as I required it. I had set up a credit card account so there was no risk of my leaving. The operation does not consider senior card discounts on Friday and Saturday but their competitor does . I can only assume that Seniors are not welcome in this establishment. That's unfortunate as the Food and Drinks are always very good.

Good ambient feel and beautiful location. Wide selection of beverages that caters for all types of drinkers. Food selection was good and really enjoyed everything we ordered. Only ordered from the entrees so keen to come back for a try of the mains so that's why didn't choose 5 star. Place was clean and staff friendly and attentive. Even though the place was quite busy, they had enough staff to make sure that you weren't waiting too long to order drinks and food. The food came out in a timely matter as well.

Unfortunately despite booking the front bar area for my daughter’s birthday, we arrived to find out the DJ was setting up in that same area and therefore we were put at the back. The area wasn’t ready and therefore we couldn’t decorate it as planned, meaning all the decorations I’d bought were wasted. Guests were left standing in the doorway while staff set up the new area which wasn’t a great start.

I've been here about 6 times in as many weeks and found this place to be top notch every time. The beers are truly pieces of art in terms of the craft of small scale brewing -- I don't think I ever tasted better. The service and food is also stellar. My wife and I have mainly ordered steaks and they have been cooked correctly to our liking and the sauces that are on offer are superlative. The cuttlefish is also a favourite for us. Nothing here is cheap by any means but you get great food, top drinks and an awesome experience.

We had dinner here tonight, and we had a few ups and a few downs, my meal was amazing, my husband's was very undercooked, but I will say the service from the manager was amazing. He didn't even flutter an eye lid when my husband asked for a refund, he was very apologetic and refund was given immediately. His service alone turned what could have been a bad experience into one we certainly won't complain about.

The beers are fantastic here...but in the past we had some problems with the quality of food and service. ..well something happened... in the last 3 visits we were very happy with everything..the service was fantastic, patient, polite, chatty...very customer orientated, we had a bit beer tasting, menu was properly explained, all the cutlery, napkins were provided... Paul, our waiter gave an exceptional service and the manager on duty (sorry didn't get her name) was fantastic overseeing the whole operation. We loved the beers as usual ...but...The best surprise was the food.....it was delicious! The salad was fresh and the spicy cuttlefish was just amazing, the Arancini tasty... thank you, we will be back.. keep up the new standard, its a great place.

I've followed up some of the 1 star reviewers and their other reviews. I doubt some even went to the Indi, just false loyalty of another brewery, or giving nearly everything 1 star for the sake of it. We go here regularly each week. Friendly, attentive staff are actually part of why we keep returning. Some of the best beer around is my other reason! Try for yourself and judge for yourself!

Here at the Indie new years eve. Would have scored a 4 because the pizza was good and view nice. But I dropped a star because our drinks were served in plastic glasses. And it is only 5.35pm. Maybe at 9pm... but not 5.30pm. So if you are here now.... keep your real glasses. Should have dropped 2 stars

It's a great set up with an open floor plan. I wasn't able to try all the craft beers, but the house IPA I tried was good. I recommend going there. I ordered a pizza there and it was really good too. I'll definitely go back.

We usually go to The Indi a couple of times a week as it is on our doorstep. We have mixed experiences however I do think that the staff have upped their game. It’s so refreshing to be asked if we want water for the table or if we want drinks bringing to our table. The food is somewhere between average and good dependant on what you order. The Sunday sesh artists have gotten better recently. The music had really gone downhill since they replaced Adam Garrett, who we used to come down to watch every Sunday. We love seeing Trouvaille too, please have them back! Reason for only 3 stars is the lack of vegitarian meals. We’ve come down to eat several times with our daughter decently and she can’t have a decent meal there. Even the non meat dishes have cheese containing animal rennet. Please address this as I’m sure this impacts on your revenue too.

Well where do I start... I used to love this place, I was here 3+ a week but ever since their brew master left and the kitchen got a revamp it just wasnt the same. Personally I believe the beer and food arnt as good as they used to be but it is still worth a visit. Great views over sections of the harbor and out over the breakwater for a great sunset drink or snack outside. Small live acts every now and then make a good evening catching up with friends better then the big bands at some other places. Plenty of tables around if just a meal is what you are after. With an out door area out the back next to a play ground if you have young kids (under 7) makes the indi a great family treat.... Just wish the old brew master and wood fire stove comes back.......

Been here many times over the years and always have the bbq share board for $65 which included a jug of street beer however tonight was our first visit back since the shutdown we had the bbq share board again which is now $69 with no beer included, the food on the board is nowhere near as good value as previous and the lamb was so tough we couldn’t eat it, unfortunately they have definitely changed the board for the worse and we wouldn’t recommend it as value for money, back to the Whale & Ale for us

MY favorite place in perth....here through the week all the time, a regular at the indi....but today it's a creche (Sat), kids running around wild without shoes on...irresponsible parenting is the issue..... Just saw a guy with drinks in his hands turn from the bar and nearly crash everything all over the floor... You may think your kids are the cutest thing ever, but the looks you're receiving aren't admiration..they are concern.....please respect the environment you're in with toddlers.

It is about an hour away from the city by connecting trains and buses. About 30 minutes by car. For beer lovers, we recommend 5 types of craft beer tasting paddles. You can compare delicious craft beers for $ 22. The chips I ordered for the knobs were also delicious. Other than that, hamburgers and raw oysters looked delicious. An event called Toast to the Coast is held regularly around here, so it may be fun to come to the store according to the event.
