Here’s nothing but a hidden gem. Grateful to get to know a place like this, unexpectedly in Maylands! Had the most wonderful night thanks to the amazing staff yesterday enjoying the strawberry signature cocktail and desserts. Definitely willing to revisit sooner or later. 120% recommendable!

My new local, the staff here make this place feel like home. Not only is it one of Perth's premiere music venues, but the wine list is sensational. The food is so yummy and delicious and always a joy to spend a summers afternoon out in the laneway. We are so lucky to have this venue in Maylands!

Delicious food every time, really something for everyone on the menu. Best bar staff that I've experienced around Perth too, so accomodating and kind. It was my first visit yesterday. Great upstairs lounge, a good session of live tunes and a real community vibe. Excellent beers available. Going down? The downstairs event room is excellently engineered for a premium sound. I really enjoyed listening to concert there.

Have driven past this place and always wanted to see inside. The owners have done it right. Awesome atmosphere that is up-market with great background music where you can order from their fully stocked bar or grab a coffee. Comfortable seating and a place to still be able to hold a conversation with friends. Staff are friendly and the place presents really well. Added bonus of pub styled place next door and the downstairs live venue means this place offers multiple options to make your night enjoyable. Well done guys you've got a winning formula.

Great when they have live music on. Excellent location in the lane itself for warmer months and a nice indoor area too. Bathrooms had Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy playing which was hilarious. I'm told there's an underground stage for music in winter but haven't actually been there. Otherwise slightly pricey but great drinks and cocktails.

So far, so good ... first visit to Lyric Lane was for a hot chocolate and a slice of delicious orange poppy cake on a Friday night. Good service, good vibes, good access for those with mobility issues. Plenty of parking options but even better, it’s near Maylands Train Station and Guildford Rd has good bus (to Midland, Perth CBD) routes.

First ⭐, family run business you can tell in the quality of service, this place tucked down the lane off 8th Ave in Maylands offers you that NY/ Melbourne type atmosphere. Second ⭐ we were there for the Oyster night hosted by the king of oyster shuckers Gerry Fraser and wine tasting with David Multen. Third ⭐ the atmosphere was great, it had a real vibe, they also have a jazz bar downstairs, which is just what the area needed. Fourth ⭐ prices were reasonable with a great wine list, we had the Pate tasting plate, restaurants never give you enough crackers or bread to go with the dip? Why is that 🤔 Fifth ⭐ overall great experience for my first time, met people we didn't know, they asked if we would like to join tables and we did, for a great time, reminded me of Canada 🇨🇦

This place has one of the best small live venues I've ever attended. A good size with a sharp front of house. If you want the vocals in your indie band actually heard by the punters, this is your place. Oh, and the tapas/share style food up stairs is bloody nice too.

Went here for dinner with my wife and daughter. Sitting outside on a cool winter night no problem having plenty of heaters to keep us toasty. We had the cauliflower poppers, pork belly and chicken and waffles. Food service was quick and staff were very friendly. Pork was crispy, as was the chicken and poppers. Good mix of flavours and a reasonable size portion for the price. The beer on tap was different to your average selection which gave us a bit of fun tasting the sour beer and metricup draught. Our dog was with us and they accommodated her by bringing out some water without prompting. On the whole i was very happy with our experience.

What a lovely 'grown-up' space. We were there from late Friday afternoon and were able to get a table (booth) easily however it soon filled up. It really is a gem. The staff are all super friendly. Great wine list with typical Perth prices - so no shocks. We opted to hang about for dinner and it was burgers all round. No complaints from us - got what we ordered and all were delicious. The biggest plus in my book is that there was background music on all the time we were there and it was exactly that - background music! Great place to go with friends who want to chat and not have to compete with ear splitting irritating music - please please don't let this change. When we left a few hours later the place was really buzzing. We will be back again.

Food was surprisingly good , simple and modest but honest . Menu choices are few but they are done quite well and the pricing is going to attract repeat business . Some decent beers on tap , Cool casual decore which promotes a great local but modern vibe without trying too hard . I went with the kids but hope to go back soon and check out some live music in the downstairs area another time . Only downside was my son's gluten free burger , The bun tasted a bit gritty . Fish and chips were great as were the regular burgers .

New venue as in a new purpose built pub with a dedicated band room downstairs. It has only been open a couple of weeks but so far all the bands have been local and original. The room has great sound and space for maybe 300-400 people. I wish them all the best.

Everything everyone says is true. This was our first proper outing after lockdown, attending our first gig, (Helen Shanahan & Friends - hugely enjoyable) and we couldn't have come to a better place! A superb venue - upstairs and downstairs - with super-friendly, attentive staff. We came by train (so close to the station) and had a bit of time to kill, on arrival. Not having booked a table upstairs, one of the owners immediately invited us to sit with her group, but then a table of our own became available. There was a bit of a muddle with our food order downstairs and we were immediately offered recompense (which we declined, as all venues must be doing it tough, right now) but we were so impressed by the staff member's proactiveness. Can't wait to go back!

It's a new place opened in Maylands. They have a lot of room to dine in or just grab a quick drink at the bar as you walk through the place. The menu had a range of yummy items - totally had food envy from my friends orders plus the selection of drinks at the bar are extensive & they have something to cater for everyone including kids

Quiet little bar on Guilford road just near 8th ave. Parking is a nightmare but the train station is only 300 meters away. Reasonable food but way overpriced for what it is. Not a great range of beers on tap. Expensive drinks considering there's no view to pay for. Generally a good neighborhood bar, but I wouldn't make it a destination.

Apparently served with and without capers tastes identical, our mistake not theirs! Really? We weren't even making a complaint only enquiring as to understand the differnce in taste. No admission of a mistake nor apology regardless, just denial. That ruined an otherwise OK experience. Highly unlikely to return.

Started with a gin and tonic using our local west winds gin, it was a quite enjoyable drink. Drink number 2 was a Rob Zombie which was a spin on the traditional Tiki Zombie cocktail. Wow great flavours in a tiki mug and it was very refreshing. The rum with the falernum, absinthe and juices. Delicious. Drink number 3 was a Negroni, again a home rum with this one. Great flavour and well balanced. We enjoyed the Popcorn chicken to start with, the food was fresh and hot. Great flavour without being over seasoned. Next was the Chicken Liver Parfait, this was rich and smooth smeared on bread. Excellent! Finally we had the Kangaroo Tataki which we enjoyed, it had an great combination of flavours. Overall a great time. The staff were excellent which I could remember their names.
