Came on a Saturday evening for dinner. I was a little surprised by how quiet it was but it is a very large place. The service was good and the food tasty. A great choice of pub grub type food. The pork belly was delicious and Mrs C was full of complements about the steak. The salt and pepper squid was a little underwhelming. The bottle of Syrah rounded off a good night. Recommended.

Cosy location with great outdoor seating to watch Perth go by. The food is very up market pub grub, it's nice easy to eat, but certain dishes have a really small portion size for the charge so it can get a little pricey. Nice rotation of menu and specials. Staff are nice and friendly.

A great place to come and have a few beers + a steak! Got a rare rib-eye steak and it was cooked to perfection. Topped with an amazing peppercorn sauce and paired with duck fat roasted potatoes. The food all around was getting great reviews and the squid appetizer was incredible. Staff were friendly and attentive, would recommend for a family night or even a date.

Fantastic experience! Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our meals. Can’t speak highly enough about friendly service. We loved all the food, especially the chocolate dessert. Brussels Sprouts were a delicious side dish. We visited on a Friday night, so naturally it was busy and fairly loud - but service was still prompt and very friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

Service is excellent and food is delicious. It is a bit more expensive than your average pub, but this place isn't that. The menu is classic yet creative and the dishes include quality ingredients. It has an extensive wine list, even if you're wanting something by the glass. I've been twice and will definitely be back.

Large well laid out with awesome friendly staff that are genuinely happy and make you feel welcome.some stuff is a bit pricey and you may need too trade your first born for some things off the menu. But beer is ice cold and the food we had was amazing definitely the best onion rings I have ever eaten and the dips and bread are so good. Definitely can't wait to come back next time we are on perth. I was there the 12/3 around 4,30 if the manager reads this please give the staff a well done and a drink 🍸

A large and spacious place with a great selection of wines. The food was generally good, especially the ocean trout I had, a bit pricey though. The beef tartare was excellent. But the chilli mussels was sub-par, on the bland side. The wait stuff was pleasant and friendly.

It would be awesome to see London Pride or a real/cask ale available to make it that little bit more British. How can I give 6 stars?? I did about an hour’s research to find somewhere new to dine. Mayfair Lane was our pick. Let me say the glowing reviews are spot on. I would go so far as to say that this was our best dining experience to date, and we dine out a lot. The service was friendly and attentive. The decor was interesting, classy and funky and the food, EXCEPTIONAL, my steak was perfection and my partners pork belly was the best he’s ever had. The attention to detail is so apparent, down to the jars of little FRESH flower arrangements on each table. Can’t wait to return and try more of the menu.

Literally the best steak in Perth! The Chateaubriand and sides with onion rings are consistently perfectly cooked and the service is impeccable, which is why Mayfair Lane is our favourite place to frequent. We’ve dined here about 6 times over the last year and have never been disappointed. A hidden gem, that deserves more recognition. Nate is also a class guy.

I recently hosted an event at Mayfair Lane private dining room, the staff were great from the get go from my booking I was kept up to date by the Events manager who was quick to respond and assist with getting any requirements sorted. The venue itself is a very nice classy pub/wine bar style and the private dining room was the perfect size and setting I was after for my party. One of the things that sold me on choosing this venue was their set menu which proved to be good value for money and excellent quality. It came out at a good pace and was enjoyed by everyone. The staff were great on the night, very attentive to making sure drinks were filled and checking everything was running smoothly. At the end of the night it was very easy to settle up the bill. I would highly recommend this bar a hidden gem tucked away in West Perth!

Mayfair Lane is my favorite Pub in Perth and also favorite SERIOUS wine list. There is always new wine on the list and some wines to discover. The staff is friendly and pro. Foni can always help you to find what you want. The food is great and as we are in lockdown we decided to order the Chateaubriand + wine to have at home. Honestly some of the best pub food I have had in my life ! I had an entree serve of squid ...( mouth watering and cooked to perfection. ) and a killer sides of brussel sprouts cooked with speck and hazelnuts . Very wierd I hear you say .... perhaps an oxymoron in the food world for some to lovingly describe brussel sprouts . But if that's how you swing do yourself a favour and visit this gem of a place . I have recently visited this venue twice after 2 years away. A great choice of drinks, still the great atmosphere, but very disappointed in the meal sizes for the "tapas". Was an absolutely brilliant night, Emma and her wider team helped us setup a fantastic night for our engagement party. It was spacious, it had good service, guests commented on how good the service was, loved the little cards they had made for us detailing the menu (something we hadn't asked for), how they went through all the rules prior and let us know what the expectations were, the decor, the furniture, the music! All of it was great, and plenty of people commented on the 'find' as well. Even if it's right in West Perth... bizarre more people don't come and visit this great place more often! Will also say that I asked many places across the city about hosting the engagement party, and plenty of places had a website that detailed their event holding rules (however when you called them they changed, or would dare to ask for more, or a minimum spend). While Mayfair Lane? They communicated they could make it happen and it was completely in line with what their website said, and they gave a brochure to help us decide what our options were. All in all, if anyone needs a place to hold an event then Mayfair Lane is the place!

We come here a lot for dinner with friends but this is the first time we have had a big get together From the initial organisation of the event the process was easy and stress free Any request I made was catered for and without making me feel like a pain From the moment we arrived last Friday to the end of the evening the service was impeccable Our waitress was attentive and never left a glass empty All the food came out together and on time which often doesn’t happen with a big group Every single guest scraped their plates clean All 16 of us loved our food - it was absolutely delicious - literally everyone has been raving about it since! Recently had my belated birthday (Murder mystery @cluedunnit) celebrations in the private dining room here. From the planning, booking to the actual night I cant speak highly enough about the whole team at Mayfair Lane. Emma made sure I had everything I wanted, her response to any questions was prompt. The private room was just perfect... perfectly suited our 1930's theme. The food was great, several guest commented of great serving sizes and quality. Wine selection is vast and impressive, with the help of the sommelier our wine on the night was perfect. Overall cant recommend this place enough, and we cant wait to visit again!!

Avoid the bangers and mash! My husband spent half the night throwing up after eating here. Visited on A Friday night about 8pm for dinner. Huge place but hardly anyone there. Lots of staff considering the number of customers but still had trouble attracting attention. But when we get attention they were super friendly and they gave generous pours on the wine by the glass. However our experience with the food was less than delightful. I had the crab and prawn pasta which was nice for a pub but my husband had the bangers and mash. About 90 minutes after he started to feel queasy and by 1am was throwing up quite violently. Don’t think we will be returning

We cannot express how thankful we are to Mayfair Lane’s wonderful team. I had the unfortunate situation of organising my birthday at La Lola in Nedlands weeks in advance, only to arrive at their venue an hour from my event starting to find a “closed for renovations” sign on their door. Mayfair Lane were incredible in stepping up and accomodating our party of 18 people in 20 minutes. They were so empathic and, successfully turned a disappointing situation into a memorable night with delicious food/wine, beautiful ambiance and impeccable customer service for me and my friends. 10/10 every time...this is what restaurants should be about. On a final note, do yourself a favour and taste their Chateaubriand as it literally is the best steak ever!

It was very loud when we went, the acoustics of the place are not great. We order the baked goats cheese starter which said it came with pistachio and honeycomb. The cheese was not baked and it was drizzled with honey, not honeycomb. And there were almonds not pistachios. It still tasted alright but it wasn’t what I was expecting. For mains we got the burger and the lamb shank. The sauce with the lamb shank was a thick tomato based sauce which, considering the menu said a red whine sauce, was not quite what I was expected but it was yummy anyway. All in all, service was nice, food was pretty good, but it was all a bit overpriced for what it is.

The pub is beautiful, the food is delicious. Shame the staff looked like they would rather be elsewhere. We sat in the dining room and tons of waitresses standing around the bar with a near empty venue, yet couldn't get service for 10 minutes.

Great selection in the bar; nice wine list and a good wide range of beers. However, things go downhill fast when it comes to food. The quick answer is don’t bother eating here - go elsewhere. On our visit the steak was underdone and bland, it’s sauce underwhelming and was accompanied by a couple of bits of limp lettuce. The fish and chips, well the batter was soggy and meh at best. And the chicken? A very small portion that left the diner seeking food after dinner. Avoid our mistakes and broaden your horizons in the neighbourhood.

Foni - started us off sharing her wealth of gin knowledge re: history/different types/botanical s of gin etc. Then we all shared delicious platters of food, prepared by the kitchen. Finally Chris helped us make and flavour our own unique gin. Chris and Foni are a great couple who really made this event. They have plenty of international experience, with personalities that make this event fun and not like a lecture . Great evening and great value too! Would thoroughly recommend this evening to gin lovers everywhere.
