An institution in Perth, bringing grass roots live music to the people who seek it. Amazing that they have managed to survive the myriad of restrictions and rules that have been in place since covid. Their resilience just proves how loved and valued this place is in the community.

MOJOS is the most inclusive venue in Perth. It’s most touring artists favourite venue in Australia. Original music 7 nights a week is a rare thing, and the standard of music is extremely high - even on open mic night. Visiting other cities I always try and figure out which venue is the most similar to MOJOS

I love mojos. The list of amazing artists I've seen there over the years (international, national and local) is too long to write down. Best venue sound in Perth, bar staff are pros and friendly AF. My dad used to take me there when I was young to watch bands and it absolutely shaped me as a musician and a punter. I remember seeing Mia Dyson when she toured her Parking Lots album and it was the first time I'd ever seen a lap steel. Love mojos, #ilovelocalmusic

Love mojos. It's iconic in its dive bar goodness. Drink prices are a joke tho, 10/12$ for a stubbie in such a venue like that is way over the top. Be nice if there was some tap beers and options and if the sound system got an update. I always love it tho 🤩

Saw a great local band "Homebrand" last night. A very talented up and coming young band. Great singer and musicians. Even for an older audience they played some great tracks which were catchy. One of the best spots out there for live music and having a few drinks. The crowd might seem super alternative/"freo" but generally people there are really nice and the vibes are always good. Often showcases local talent which is a plus. Also one of the few bars I've been to where you can drink emu and not feel like an idiot!

Small bar, I accidentally walked in on Saturday night when I heard the music coming out the place. There was this lovely band; playing reggae music, the bar tenders are very friendly, and prices are reasonable. one of the best in north Freo!

I love the vibe here. Its so chill and not an once of pretenciousness to be found. It sucks that its so far from my place otherwise I'd be here all the time. The prices are fair and the staff are real cool and not snobby like you find in the city.

Mojo's is a grungy little bar in North Freo great for intimate gigs or just a chill night out. They'll let you bring in food from one of the places next door which is pretty great. Drink prices are standard and there's a decent amount of parking nearby.

It is still Fremantle's most popular live music venue for both touring and local bands. The decor, friendly staff and beer garden provide ample opportunity for a relaxed and fun night or to mosh, rock or stomp on the wooden floorboards that hold up the live music scene in Freo. If you haven't been here before then get down before FOMO(JO) kicks in!
