R. H.Today I ate a small portion of Thai Beef salad and sweet wine (Happy Fushia). The food is delicious, the environment is clean, there is space for children to play, and there are birds and fish around. It is very suitable for enjoying a leisurely lunch on the holiday!

K. R.We always enjoy eating here on our bi-annual trips to Denmark from Perth. This time we were disappointed that their delicious pizzas were off the menu but still found the offering tasty and the serving sizes large. The desserts are all delicious. However as a vegetarian I found the new menu very limiting with only one choice in the mains. I really encourage you to make more choices available to non meat and fish eaters as many restaurants are doing. We always get great service and will be back.
C. B.The cooking is executed really well! Good food no matter what you order and staff were really helpful with answering questions. Plenty of tables to eat at inside and outside although a lot of tables were reserved upon our arrival so it might pay to call ahead, we managed a table regardless.
Sports bar is quite small with a nice fireplace to sit or stand at, pool table hasn’t got too much space to play but there is one nonetheless.

K. W.I cannot speak more highly of this place. I went in tonight while they were in the busy dinner rush and asked for a takeaway meal. The kitchen accommodated my request very quickly (max 10 min wait) and the young male staff member who served me was very polite and welcoming. The meal was huge and everything was delicious. Yummy food! Beef cheek is so tender and delicious and compliments so well with the mash and steamed vege. Prawn rice was creamy and delicious too. The pasta of the day which is creamy chicken and mushroom is delicious too but I was hoping they warn us about the spiciness they had (as we ordered for the kids and realised its not kids friendly).

E. B.This was a nice place to have a meal, even though it was a bit cold and rainy and the only seats available were outside. Minus 1 star as there are no plant-based meal options on the menu, but I ordered the bruschetta without the feta and a serve of the roasted vegetables. The food was delicious, the root vegetables were perfectly caramelised and the beans were fresh and crunchy. The bar staff were friendly and helpful.

Eagle Rock on in front bar. My kind if music but not necessarily my 96year old father in law who had trouble hearing the conversation.

T.Food is good but some of the staff are either rude or just constantly in a bad mood. I assume she was the manager but this one girl made us feel like it was an inconvenience for her to serve us. Didn’t feel welcome.

R. D.The place for honest pub grub in Denmark. The parmy is generous. And oh my, the beef cheeks are out of this world. The best part is the playground in yard. A behemoth repurposed McDonalds sensation that keeps the kids busy for hours. Put this place on the list when visiting this great part of the world.
P. S.We had a very large group dinner booking on Saturday 13th November. Majority of the group travelled from Perth and also Broome.
One particular waitress decided we were an inconvenience to her as she told us that "you've booked the whole restaurant and you're in the way of the doorway". What a hide!
She then, on her next walked past us with empty plates, shoulder bumped and hip bumped me rather hard so that I stumbled 😡. We weren't going to let her get away with her utter rudeness and disgraceful attitude so she was approached and given a stern talking to.

エ.It cost me $35 for fish and chips and a pint. It wasn't bad. No malt vinegar. It's difficult to find any food around here between 2pm and 5pm so I was hungry enough to pay it, so I could enjoy more wine tastings (wineries all close at 5pm around here) I picked the tavern over the cafés precisely to avoid the more family oriented places and this was the most family friendly bar I have ever seen! Haha, must be wealthy folk who can afford a meal for 4 here.

My partner got the field mushrooms and it was nice but the portion was really small for 25$ and being vegetarian/salad based. Ordering was slow but they were quite busy. Ambience is very country pub-vibes and relaxed. But 110$ for food and drinks for two is a bit insane at a normal standard pub, Shame!

Has a small playground for the little ones and a beautiful beer garden. Food was fantastic and well priced. Owners should be proud of their establishment. Well done on the huge improvements. 👏👏👍

K. D.Table for ten, all ordered their meals at the same time but two plates arrived +50 minutes late. Ultimately refunded for late meals. The food manager was aware of the problem but instead of coming to us to discuss the situation did nothing until challenged. Three times we were told the last meals were just minutes away.
The food was excellent but the delay put a real dampener on the evening. Reviews would indicate delays are commonplace.
I. A.I just had dinner here and am very impressed. The meals are good. Size of meals is typical country size (large). They have an extensive wine list for a tavern. The young ladies that work there were very helpful and polite. I would recommend this place for dinner. Tip, book a table as the place is popular.

t. w.Me and my girlfriend came down to Denmark on Monday for a quick adventure. The Denmark tav was the only place open for food by the time we got a chance to grab dinner, when arrived we soon realised this wasn't your average pub food. We were warned there was a wait for meals and this was great, no hidden surprises, when the meal arrived they were exceptional, one little mistake with the menu not saying there was feta on my girlfriends meal (she is vegan) staff were very apologetic and mentioned that the menu had recently changed it was a simple mistake. They quickly replaced the meal and didn't charge us for her meal at all!?! Very kind. We had a great time at Denmark tavern and will be back asap.

M. Z.Lovely place to eat right in Denmark. Food was amazing and very well priced. There is outdoor seating as well as TVs with sports playing, plus a huge kids playground. The staff were very friendly and the service was super quick. All in all a wonderful experience and I really recommend trying this place for a meal.

Indoors is only a small area but there is a restaurant space attached to the pub. Outdoors looks like an excellent space for kids and for everyone on a nice sunny day. Thank you to the staff here who made for a lovely time in from the tent.

Y.A chicken parmi + extra side is more than enough food for two people, such a large serving! Saw another table order the fries bowl, and it was bucket sized, just crazy. A good place to go for warm, hearty filling food. They also have a lovely fireplace. Only downsides were getting charged $3 for aioli, and being told the indoor restaurant seating area is fully booked but 3/4 of the place was completely empty from start to finish of eating our meals outside in the outdoor bar area. Perhaps they track dinner bookings by blocking out each table as booked for the entire night?

For our lunch we had 2 fish n chips, the girls had a Hawaiian pizza and a perri perri chicken burger.

I always worry about battered fish as the batter is a hit and miss at some places. Not here!! 2 huge pieces of fish that stayed crunchy till the last mouthful!
Our girls 14 and 15 struggled with the size of their lunch. We only spent $100 on our food, and left almost in a food coma.
Thankyou to the chefs for a magnificent feed, and to the lovely staff who served us!!!

E. R.I couldn't see this info on Google anywhere before we went, so I need to tell you that this pub has A BIG KIDS PLAYGROUND! It's a McDonald's style one, literally has a McD's logo on it haha! But quite a decent one, small slide for the little kids and bigger slide for the more adventurous. Plus a few trucks and baby toys floating around. Kept my 3 and 7 year olds happy for quite a while. We ordered chips and garlic bread to snack on which were good, and I had a sticky date pudding which was really yum. The coffee machine was broken so they had a kettle with free tea and coffee which suited me great as the family chauffeur lol. Footy on inside for dad. Some really nice and interesting beers on tap - we had the local Wilson brew from Albany and an amazing creme caramel beer from Dainton. Definitely a great spot to hang out if you're in the area, something for everyone and family friendly.
