Went with family for a Saturday night catch-up for Christmas. Restaurant and sports bar were a hive of activity. Arrive at 6pm and notice that the restaurant lightning subtly changed to a more intimate dining experience. Food great and well presented. Great option for the family to visit for a nice place to eat out! Highly recommend.

Dropped in here after a bucket of golf balls were hit at Carramar, ordered the special menu kangaroo loin which was honestly sensational, both myself and my dad very much enjoyed that meal, it was a large serving for a great dollar value and the best part was it was one of the best pub feeds we have had in a while and the Guinness to top it off, Jake the manager on duty was also great to deal with.

Great food- Steak Sandwich is the 2nd best in Perth. Cold beer- just a small added bonus 🤣 Great service- spent a few hours here after a funeral so it got a bit rowdy and all the staff from the bar crew to wait staff to managers were amazing. I got told this place used to have a bad rep but if last Friday was anything to go by management have really turned this place around. Great job!

What a little gem, had lunch for 12 on a Sunday afternoon. It was recommended by someone that had not been before but had heard really good things about The Duke. It was awesome! The staff were friendly, professional and attentive, service time for our food was excellent, everybody enjoyed their meals, I had the chicken with feta and it was delicious. One of the best Espresso Martinis I've had in Perth, overall the experience at The Duke was excellent! If I lived closer, it would be my local pub. Highly recommend.

My first visit and very positive. Clean, open and good service. Only one cautionary comment, my friend showed me the Sports Bar and at that time tobacco smoke was blowing in from outside. I suspect that this was just a weather problem. The rest of the venue, the biggest part of it can not be faulted and I will go back.

Decided to try here for a mid week lunch and was pleasantlysurprised with the quality and size of the food and the service. The service was very polite and friendly &the size of meals were very decent size and of good quality. There is a bar area separate to the restaurant however you can eat in either of those with the same food. There is also an outdoor area with astro turf grass and plenty of parking available. I would highly recommend a visit to The Duke bar & bistro

Was okay. I had a chicken burger as it was part of the Monday deal and if I had known it was thigh I'd have avoided it. There was the smallest smear of guac and aioli and the chips needed more salt. That said, it is a nice pub with a nice feel. The staff are really friendly and accommodating.

An intimate bistro, but don't let this fool you! A menu with everyones taste buds thought of. Big steaks with all the trimmings, large pizzas with ample topping (including veg), burgers, pasta, smaller bites for the lighter appetite and the usual favourites. Plenty of drinks to wash it all down, served icy cold. Staff are friendly and prompt with service. Our server was Ben and he was super friendly. Definitely will be back to try other menu items 😊

We were served by Kate who was excellent. The place was absolutely full and we still had super friendly and prompt service. Great English atmosphere with plenty of good stuff on tap. The Sunday all you can eat carvery was yummy for $35.

Confusing place, heard some really good things about it so took the grandparents to try something new...only to see it's a sports bar where UFC was on the screen and being a little intimidating (with grandparents don't forget). Found out that the restaurant is fully booked and we were told by the waitress we have to book beforehand (you can't just turn up). Great menu, shame I never got to try it.

I brought my grandmother here for dinner and I must say the front of house staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bar staff were also very friendly and skilled making one of the best mojitos I've ever had. The food was absolutely to die for. No need to add any salt or pepper - the duck fat potatoes were deliciously crisp with a fluffy centre, the steak was perfectly seared and flavoursome. The steak was slightly overcooked for medium but the flavour more than made up for it. I cannot recommend the Duke bar and bistro enough. Will definitely return!

Convenient location and plenty of parking, undercover area for smokers. We came to see a band performing, however the bar area where the stage is quite small, people were walking all over each other in the beginning. We had chicken pizza and chicken wings. Pizza was good, however we did not really enjoy the wings, the whole set was like a mix of fresh wings with old and stale...apart from that - very friendly personnel and nice atmosphere.

The wait staff were very nice and the atmosphere is comfortable. It was quiet when we visited for lunch, the food serving sizes were very reasonable but it's basically a pub meal they've fancied up a bit and charge extra for. I would eat there again but it's not a place I'd make my regular haunt.

We've been to The Duke many times and have always really enjoyed the food; and we love the pub atmosphere. However, yesterday (Sunday 11th April) we went for the buffet roast and I was disappointed with both the pork and the beef. My wife enjoyed the lamb. Both the pork and beef were tough and chewy, in fact I left mine. The vegies were great; the soup was great, but the meat was chewy.

Monday, 21 June 2021 We (family group of four) had a fabulous meal; Chicken Parma, Cesar Salad with roasted chicken, Rump Steak (rare) with Duck Fat Potatoes and a Vegan serving of Nasi Goreng. The service was fantastic. The waiter took the time to find out exactly what each of us liked, or disliked, in the preparation of our food paying extra attention to my vegan daughter. On delivery, everything from the drinks to the meals, were perfect in every way. Hats off to the chef and staff. It was my first time at The Duke and in the words of Laurence of Arabia, "I will return"!

The Duke is our local, we particularly enjoy the steak night we are there every Wednesday breaks the week up nicely, our group is growing gradually last night there were 11 of us...great value for money, always made to feel welcomed by the team there. I hate going to a restaurant and being served something you can cook at home better. The 'fish of the day' was hidden on the specials menu and I was hoping it was going to be nice, it's been two days now since we went and I'm still thinking about that meal, the roast pumpkin that came with it was hidden through the meal and finding each one was like finding a gem. The fish was melt in you mouth perfection and the cream cheese spotted on the side was a delicious treat. My compliments to the chef, you made my week, I also need to mention the floor staff, it was busy but they were smiles and attentive. The only way I could repay you all was to write this review. I definitely recommend the Duke for lunch and or dinner outings. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and they regularly change up the Specials. Great Service, with different entertainment or themed days and they have a loyalty card which makes your visit even sweeter. Also conveniently located across from Carramar Shopping Centre, so grabbing a pint before grocery shopping makes it way more interesting!

10 of us were there for a birthday party midweek. The staff were wonderful and put no pressure on us to order. We only ordered mains and they arrived within minutes of each other, all piping hot. The food was acclaimed by all. I had the best bangers and mash and my partner had the crunchiest melt in your mouth pork belly. The whole experience is one we wish to repeat so we will definitely be back to check out the new winter menu.

The Duke is a wonderful family friendly place. The food is delicious and scrumptious. The sundae icecream was very good especially with chocolate sauce. The Sunday roast wasn't as good as we had previously had but is still value for money. Recommended by our whole family.

Have eaten here many times. After the initial teething problems, the food is great. If you take advantage of Steak Night on Wednesdays and arrive late, there's no porterhouse left and you get fillet that they haven't used for the beef wellington: bargain! Pub is large enough for a big crowd but small enough not to look deserted at less busy times. There are regulars and the bar staff are friendly and soon get to know your face. More like an English pub than any other I've been to in Oz. And it's 800m from my front door ;o)

Came for the quiz night 7/2/17, my elderly mother couldnt manage the bar stools so Jasmine and staff brought in two tables and eight chairs so that we could all sit comfortably and safely at the same height. Half price pizzas were outstanding and great value, fabulous selection of on tap beers. Great customer service!

Great selection of beers on tap. Wine menu needs an updated with more local wines added. Bar seating area is nice and cozy with a fire place and relaxed vibe. We have eaten here quite a few times now and is a world apart from when they first opened. Beef sliders are actually mini burgers unlike when they first had them with honey glazed ham from a deli. Wagyu burger is very tasty, Seafood could be a lot better, have been sick from the squid before. Staff are friendly, although we asked for a take away bag because we couldn't finish the delicious meal, and the waitress just put an empty container in front of us so we had to do it ourselves. When paying premium prices the customer shouldn't have to do this. Overall its our local and we'll keep coming back, as it keeps getting better.

I built this place so I have an intrinsic connection. However, the demographic from which the staff are selected needs to be brought to the attention of the licencee. You see, when I was working overseas at the invitation and expectation of my employers, I never:1, took my job for granted, 2, belittled customers, 3, broadcast my personal issues and most importantly, 4, I never denigrated my employer to customers. The Duke as a whole needs to sack some of their staff.

Before I begin, I will say that my sister-in-law works at The Duke. The beauty of saying this is that you don't know if I like my sister-in-law or not, so you won't know if my review is biased. Honestly though, the service was amazing (not served by said family member). Numerous staff members were running around making absolutely sure you wanted for nothing. I have to say that a young lady named Bree was particularly good. She made my 15 month old son smile when she spoke to him, and I think he fancied her a little. Fortunately his eyes followed her around the room, and his obsession kept him quiet enough for us to enjoy our meal in peace. The only slightly negative point is that I thought the ribs were a little dry, and the flavour was not to my personal taste, but I am sure as hell happy to go back and try another meal. The portions were huge, the beer was cold, and the Mrs loved her parmy!

But last few visits the coffee has been disappointing to say the least... my coffee was always my finishing cup of satisfaction... but of late, I think the coffee needs an overhaul whether it be the equipment or the barista...something isn't right...The coffee used to be deliciously brewed and full bodied but now it's weak and disappointing to say the least...😏
