I recently visited this excellent Bar & Café again on the afternoon when Essondon & The Eagles were playing... The atmosphere in the afternoon was very laid back & relaxed, the staff were so welcoming & helpful with recommending a drink. The service was quick & efficient with a great range of Tap Beers... You couldn't criticise the food, delicious and always great presentation on the plate.. This would be a great venue with Private Dining Rooms upstairs for a birthday bash or even a hen's night, especially with the close proximity to Northbridge & The City Centre. The Stunning Architecture of this building along with the amazing views of The Perth City Centre straight up William Street... Perfectly located in Yagan Square, The Shoe Bar & Café is an choice if you are looking for an excellent night out... Very close to Public Transport..

We decided to go to The Shoe in Yagan square to celebrate one of our girlfriend's birthday. This location is very good right on top of the train line. Which is easy to commute for people who take the train. We ordered a selection of food and wine. The wings, bread and hummus dip, arancini balls, sweet potato fries, deep fried squid. As for mains, we ordered the fish and chips, steak with onion rings and fries and pizza. The food quality is really good. We had a good time chatting the wait staff is very friendly.

I always drop here to buy a coffee on the way to bring kids to the rooftop playground or see a new client for my businesses in the city. The place, Yagan Square is one of the most famous icons in Perth city so even a visitor or a person who is not good at reading a map can come here without being lost their way. Good place to meet up with new people and good place to catch up with other families with a great coffee.

Amazing food and Mulled wine. Decided to vist to waste a few hours. Sat on the upstairs balcony enjoying the city views. Snacking on Chicken Parma Sliders and sipping a nice warm Mulled Wine on a cold winter day. Great food, nice taste in music. It was a rather nice relaxed atmosphere set by the staff and surrounds. I will be coming back again.

Fairly basic bar in a good location. The food was ok, drinks were OK but unfortunately the bar staff didn't know how to make some standard cocktails (not on their cocktail list, but generic none-the-less). Internally it's also fairly basic. Nothing wrong with it, I just wanted it to be better for such a good location.

The Shoe is in a great location. Close to the Perth bus port and train station. Nice atmosphere without tables on top of eachother. Service at the bar is quick and selection of wine and beer is good. I like the fact that we can purchase food separate at the bar. No one likes bulk billing. Menu however needs attention. It's good to change up every now and then. The menu has been the same for quite some time now. Time for a change.

I just recently held my 40th birthday at this fabulous location. Jo & Paul were ever so accommodating, myself and guests had a wonderful afternoon celebrating. I wanted a venue that had pub grub and a central area for those coming from everywhere to meet. Service was great, music was great, I had the best celebration, if you’re looking for a venue check out the Shoe Bar. The Shoe ticked all the boxes for me!

Thank you for a great weekend, a school reunion Friday night and a 40th birthday celebration last night. The service is always fantastic, beautiful, friendly staff and it shows that they love being part of the Shoe Family. The owners Jo and Paul are always around, working behind the bar, serving and checking on customers. They are so helpful when booking for functions and the service they provide for events is outstanding. You always make it so easy when I need to book a function. So many of our friends have had functions because of the great service and of course food....you can’t go past my favourite, home made sausage rolls. The location makes it a central spot to catch up at anytime, easy to get to, public transport delivers you straight to the door and plenty of street parking and car parks. Thanks once again Shoe Bar and I will be back in a couple of weeks for a lunch catch up with girlfriends.

I had a great experience with customer service at the Shoe Bar. I made a mistake in my order ordering a VO (vegetarian option) instead of GFO (gluten free option). Luckily I realised before they order had been processed. The staff changed my order without fuss, drama or cost. There are lots of GFO an VO and my meal was delicious and served promptly despite it being a busy pre Christmas period. Thanks.

Where to begin!? Betty the functions manager provided incredible service which made our 2 day growth summit very comfortable. If you require a staff function room it's perfect for around 20 -25 people and the location is easily accessible to public transport. We had the option to choose our lunch each day with some dietary requirements that they easily met. I can't recommend them enough as their service was excellent.

I organised a function here with my social club (~60 people) and the staff went above and beyond and were fantastic! I had organised a space on the balcony, but when I arrived I was worried that people would arrive early and with a wildcats game on there was limited space. The manager (Jo) super quickly organised staff to clean up their function room out the back (cleaned and rearranging the whole room after a lunch function they had, to standing room) and let us start here with our own bar and super friendly server. They even printed signs to put out the front so people knew where to go. Once our original space was free (still before I booked) they let us know and we moved location. Also everyone enjoyed all the food with the pizzas being a hit. I would definitely go back with friends for a drink at any stage and would highly recommend for any function you have, be it work, Christmas, 18th, 21st, 30th or whatever :)

It is a pub. The food is "pub grub" and makes no pretensions. This being said I enjoyed a lunch which delivered as expected. This is what I want in pub grub. There is a welcome and social atmosphere, while maintaining a sense of privacy away from the outside world. Sports on the big screen TV, or sit outside and watch the world go by, if you have the time on an afternoon this is an excellent place to catch up with friends.

Very modern bar nestled in the revamped part of Perth. I haven't tried the food yet but the drinks option is pretty good. I would like to see a more broader choice of beers possibly reaching out to NEIPA or XPAs but it is a good start. Good place to go before seeing a footy game at the new Stadium or even the Arena as it is just down the street. It is really close to the underground station as well making it an easy place to meet people from all sides of the river.
