We had a good time at Albion hotel outdoor area. Our food arrived really on time and all a reasonable price. Good vibe, nice music and you feel safe. Security people were patrolling the area at all times ensuring everyone behaved properly. Definitely I will come back and I would recommend this place. Con: Music was extremely loud and almost hard to talk. Older people had to leave by 9 pm as an avalanche of young people flood the place by this time.

Overall, a great place to eat and have a beverage. The menu has traditional pub classics like schnitzel and burgers, as well as salads for the carb conscious. I had the crispy skin salmon and it was amazing! I'd definitely recommend it. My partner had the schnitzel. It was great too; crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. You could have it without any sauce, but the gravy was great. The meals came quickly and the staff were super friendly and very attentive. The beer garden has a great atmosphere and the heaters keep it warm when it's cold outside. They have pool tables and a pinball machine in the inside bar. The security is pretty intense, but I suppose it has to be if you're trying to keep the place safe. The security guards are very polite and willing to answer questions about the protocols they have in place. Great spot.

This is a great place to hold events. The area outside holds almost 60 people with plenty of spaces. The area is open but gives you a private setting. On weekends this place is not so packed. their catered food is good. They have skewers, burgers, fish and chips and meatballs. I absolutely love the lamb skewers and the fish and chips. There is a bar where you can get your drinks. The indoor setting has a stage which may be good if you are planning to have a program or presentation. The hotel has plenty if parking and is walking distance from parramatta station. I will definitely recommend this place for private and corporate functions.

Only negative was the SLOW BAR SERVICE. Literally can sober up just waiting to be served. I stood at that bar for more than 25mins just waiting to be served. Some of the bartenders were nice, although there was one guy bartender who chose who he wanted to serve & then called security because a customer called him out on serving people he knew rather than people who had been waiting for ages. Security was good, door staff was great. Just needs either more bartenders on & faster service at bar.

Awesome atmosphere, outdoors in beer garden, music was great and ppl were friendly and beautiful staff , food & service. But as the night went on, we had an unreasonable experience with a female security guard who denied a female family friend water at the bar on her 18 birthday after having 4 x alcohol beverages. Saying she was intoxicated. And to leave the premises And get water elsewhere. Then when her mother and I calmly went and intervened in the situation taking place. She turned on me saying I was intoxicated to, and screamed m at us to also leave. Seriously I assumed 3x alcohol beverages. After speaking with the beautiful lady of the premises who was supportive of the situation. We decided to leave on our own accord. As we all felt so intimidated by the actions of this one security guard and felt her appalling behaviour disgusting. Shame on her , not responsible or reasonable at all. If anything I think she had a jealous streak, that our lovely 18 year old was getting much attention with her bubbly beautiful nature. And she didn’t like it.

With a decent selection of pub food bought to you at the table, selection of cocktails, evening entertainment, a pool table, indoor seating, TV's for viewing sports and pokies, this pub has everything for a great time out

Even though we’ve moved from the neighbourhood, we usually go back there to watch the State of Origin. But the other reason is the food which never disappoints. There is also a wide variety of tap beer at the bar.

Menu is not extensive, and they are completely unwilling to change anything (for example put a different sauce on your steak, or substitute salad and chips for cooked vegetables and potato, something you'd think would be easily done to keep customers happy). Albion is one of the best for food and music in Parramatta. They don't accept bookings for tables only walk-in. They have really nice hip hop music after 10pm. The staff here were very friendly. Limited parking space. I highly recommend this place.

Were there the thursday night and had a fun time with good service. Went the next night(friday) after the Parra vs Roosters game and got turned away by security for having had "too many drinks tonight" we had literally had 4 vodka cans that night at the game and nothing before the game. Lets just say we didnt fit the right profile that night. Very disappointing!

Gorgeous pub in Parramatta with a beautiful courtyard. Went there on a Saturday night with family and friends and we enjoyed it so much. Live music from 5pm (and it's just perfect) and dj from 9pm and OMG they do shisha after 10pm in the courtyard. Staff were so friendly and food was so delicious. We will definitely go back 😊

Went here last Wednesday night for drinks with a bunch of friends. The place has good outdoor seating and ambience and was pretty impressed. The food was mediocre. The wedges and fries were soggy and the salt and pepper squid was alright. Wasn’t impressed with the service. The waitress was extremely unwelcoming and sent real negative vibes throughout the service. I would still give this place another chance and hopefully the experience will be better next time

This Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly while maintaining physical distancing rules between the patrons. The food was fresh and very nice with the gaming rooms being kept in a clean and hygienic manner. Staff were attentive to the pateons needs frequently offering complimentary snacks and drinks as we enjoyed a flutter on the poker machines.

Great place to kick back, awesome beer garden, nice and open with high fencing, which means you have some privacy from on-lookers on the street. Pokies are available, 21 Games to keep you busy, great food menu choice, a good selection of wine and beers, pool tables, you can play Keno type games there, there's a couple of lounging area inside and when covid is over and done, it's usually a great place to go for a dance. Staff are helpful and friendly. 👍

3 stars for the security guards at the front, did their jobs fabulously. Cannot say the same for the security guard inside who did not explain their coronavirus guidelines clearly. Asked me and my friends if we knew "the law". The bar area needs more clear signage as to the rules and sectioning if they allow patrons to order at the bar. Me and my friends do not mind being told off but think staff can do so more discreetly. Also ironic that they do not allow smoking in beer garden area when shisha is available to hire. 3 stars overall for good music, argileh hire & local vibes.

Came here for a work xmas party - food was delicious and no fuss with COVID check-ins and ordering food. The only issue is that there is no air movement in the beer garden when you're under the shade at the rear. The fans weren't working and we all sweltered, we didn't stay long because of this unfortunately.

Our group of 20 had our Christmas lunch at the Albion. Staff members were friendly and accommodating. Our food was ready quickly and was delicious. Would highly recommend for group events. The beer garden was bliss even on a very warm December day with water misting and plenty of shaded seating to keep cool.

We had a work colleagues farewell drinks here the other weekend. We were greeted with a smile and a few laughs from the gentlemen at the front door.Great service from bar staff,even though it was pretty busy, they were as quick and efficient as they could be. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, portion was bang for the buck. Awesome setting in the beer garden as too the sports bar area where few of us older faces went to watch the game whilst the our younger crowd partied in the nightclub area.that wasn't my cup of tea but my younger colleagues enjoyed themselves immensely. Security seemed a bit intense but understandably so as the venue seemed to get quite crowded the later it got. All in all it was a great night with great company with great service. The Albion Hotel is starred in my favourites It's on my list of places I want to go and I can't wait. Heard so many good things about it There are so many things you can do, the building itself is enriched with heritage and history, the ambience is spot on. The music, including live bands is amazing.. Foods delicious n the bar staff know what they're doing. . I can't cover everything here, but I can say if I was going to single out any one hotel in western Sydney to go to it'd be the Albion Hotel

Just popped in for a few post-dinner drinks on Friday night. Friendly security, RSA Marshall's & bar staff, with sensible covid measures in place. Nice atmosphere & music not too loud to drown out conversation. The reason I can't give 5 stars is the price, waiting time & serving size of their cocktails. When they advertise a jug of lychee mojito, we were expecting a "jug" of lychee mojito. At $36 a pop it was serving in a small carafe which was barely more than two drinks worth. It also came with a 10-15 minute wait after ordering.... So we opted for a raspberry daiquiri next... 5-10minute wait for them to make this one and I expected a cocktail like this to be served in a cocktail glass.... But it came in a martini glass only 2/3 full... At $18 a pop we expected more than two mouthfuls... I guess they need to watch the bottom line profits with covid, but at the expense of customer satisfaction? Probably wouldn't be in a rush to go back or if so perhaps just stick to tap beer.

Great beer garden that's dog friendly until 8pm each night. Pub meals are reasonably priced and served to your table with a smile. Bar & security staff are very friendly and helpful as it was our first time there. We'll be back again soon for State of Origin II 2019 as we had an enjoyable evening. Accidentally left a small collapsable bowl behind and hope staff will put in lost property for when we return.

Do not miss lining up at the bar to be told after waiting 30mins that they don't have plastic wine glasses for wine and sent to another bar that only took cash. After much research with the rstaurabt staff, we found that the fries were gluten free, so my partner could eat them. The customer service from all the staff is just impeccable, specifically from a male bartender named dion, that made our night feel special and made sure it was going according to plan. He checked on our table, asked about the experience with the food, made amazing cocktails and just brought an amazing vibe to our night. Went on a Sunday for lunch with a small group of friends. Casual and relaxed, sunny outdoor dining and drinking area. Good food options. Had the house smoked salmon and fennel salad - awesome. Friends had the chargrilled half chicken and raved about it. Hesitated to give it five stars because I only had a short experience there, but the experience that I did have was impressive, pleasant and without fault.

Seating is primarily outdoors in a nice courtyard. Indoors is available but it's pretty dark. Food is typical pub fare - steaks, pizza, hamburgers, etc. Food counter lady is very friendly and meals are usually pretty quick. There can be a bit of a queue at lunch time.

Had my husband's 40th birthday here on a Sunday afternoon last month. Planning process was a bit confusing (should look to simplify catering requirements i.e $25pp gets you this, or $35 pp gets you this package). Otherwise the day ran very smoothly. Thank you to the manager on call that day - you were awesome and very accommodating, along with that lovely woman who looked after us that afternoon. Drinks and food are reasonably priced and the beer garden is well maintained. There’s pool tables and a cosy sports bar. If you want to party and you’re 18-25 Friday nights are your go to. If you’re in the 25+ then Saturday night is your time.

Went here for post work drinks with colleagues, they had organised premium bottle service for us. Right from arrival at the door we were treated like royalty. They knew who we were and escorted us straight through to our very special booth. Not only was our waitress prompt and professional, they even sent out a magnum of Belvedere with our company's name engraved on it! what an absolutely gobsmacking experience!!! Kudos to everyone that is part of your team right from the security out front to the bartenders, glassies, chefs and indeed a very hospitible management team. If you want to make your next night out in Parramatta a memorable one for all the right reasons head to the Albion Hotel.

Ordered the char-grilled steak rump with my cousin and i asked for medium which was delivered but the portion size especially fries needs to improve it was not even a handful and charged us $26 each . I spent most of my time outside but they had mist-fans on a hot day, the staff seemed friendly and the food was good. They have the buzzer things for when your food is ready, like so many places nowadays. They have parking out back if you are a patron, otherwise it is a 10 minute walk to the train station. The prices are on the higher side, comparable with city prices, but I suppose Parramatta has become it's own mini-CBD so it makes sense that the prices would reflect that. I was there on a lazy Sunday afternoon so I can't speak for the nightlife, but it's good for a day out with family and there's a park opposite if you want to have the kids have a runaround afterwards to work off all that food :)
