Great vibes and it's always great service from the boys and girls behind the bar. Can get really packed on weekends but definitely a place worth checking out. Even Marlo has checked it out!

Amazing environment, well taken care of, workers were very friendly. Accidently left a gift behind at the bar and they managed to find it and hold it safely for a couple of days for me to pick up. Even after me delaying reservations and postphoning, they were very patient and dealt with allot hassle too, perfect customer service .

Ambience is good. Service is decent. Changed the chef, food not what it used to be. Food was really good before, now it's only average. Okay but nothing special. Food is not overly salty like many other bar places. That's the plus at least.

Came here on a Monday night to catch up with a friend. Great experience! Music was fantastic & not too loud (until around ~10pm), the atmosphere was friendly. Bar 53 definitely has a lot of regulars and I think that’s what kept the atmosphere fresh on a typically quiet Monday night :) They’re still undergoing some renovations, so I’m excited to see what’s next. Food-wise: good stuff! I ordered their chicken wings & nachos. They also do mocktails! (Just ask them).

Its like a hole in the wall, once you walk in you dont feel like your in canley vale. Down to earth people, nice food, good atmosphere, prices are good for food and drinks.

The atmosphere is immaculate, one of the best places to go to have a good weekend. No need to waste time travelling to the city when all the fun is in south-west of Sydney! The staff are just the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

This place is on fire. Great selection of spirits. Excellent cocktails and knowledge of mixes and friendly staff to boot. You cannot go wrong in this place. Will be visiting again soon. The selection of Japanese whiskeys and bourbons were highly impressive. Thanks guys for a memorable night.

It's been difficult for bars during this Covid period, Bar 53 are looking after their patrons & staff well, & trying hard to conform to restrictions. Well done to this gem in Canley Vale!

Overall this is a great bar. The staff work tiredly to impress and the set up is fantastic. My only thing is drunk patrons could monitored better. An older fellow and lady in my company were both pushed by a larger man. I blame him of course but still a disappointing situation.

Nice and spacious joint for drinks and food. Depending on the time it can get packed. Always great service from everyone there. Try their honey soy chicken wings! Always fresh and delicious!

A great little alternative, when you need a break from Richard's on the Park Down the road. It has more of a city cocktail bar feeling to it. Someplace to relax, in a quiet atmosphere. On top of that you get the knowledgeable cocktail bartenders and friendly owners. They can make some great suggestions for new drinks to explore.

This is my first time giving a review, usually im not bothered but i can't leave this place in the dark, it must be shared to the world. I had my 21st here last Saturday, and let me say, I can't explain enough that it was amazing, this place gave me such good vibes! The staff were 110% awesome and so helpful, the food was delicious, and presentation was stunning. The drinks were on point and got us all dancing, i don't think I could be disappointed even if I tried haha, the owners are amazing and so helpful and handled things like a boss !!! Me and my friends will definitely be back for more nights like this... Thank you once again

It is cool and trendy place for locals. Staff are amazing, friendly and has a homely feel to it where everyone knows your name. If you need a break away from a hectic day or need a place to hang out and chat, this is the place to be at! With a great selection of drinks, cocktails & non-alcohol accompanied by a great range of bar food how could you not want to experience it. Me and husband are frequent customers since opening and so far Bar 53 has been fantastic!! Keep up the great work Ninos, Shane, Thanh, Huong, Pete, Cecilia & Reena. Your guys are one hell of a team!! New favourite spot! Have been going every week since my first visit. Great tunes if you're into rnb/hip-hop, good food, great drinks, overall atmosphere is amazing! Owner Ninos is the besssst! Most down to earth guy, he takes time out to spend with his customers, good value with his jokes and dance moves haha! Staff are just as amazing. Check it out fam 😊
