Great find! Went there on a Sunday night and the place was empty which was great because we got pretty much personalised service by the bar tender. The atmosphere was great and the drinks menu is pretty extensive. Food options are limited but this is more of a bar than a restaurant. I got the beef burger which was delicious and the gf got a chicken dish which was a little dry and bland but that was the only negative of the place. Would definately go there again. Shout out to the bartender from Sunday night for the service and the chat!!!

I finally made it to Cheddr with a couple of friends and loved it. The cocktails were on point, our bottle of Argentinian Malbec beautiful, and the snacks were delish. Richie's hospitality was wonderful, he really looked after us. We'll definitely be returning.

Been here a few times and I just love the vibe, the staff and of course the food and drinks! The cocktails exceed expectations and there are always new ones on the menu. There are even desserts that are paired with certain liqueurs like the tiramisu I had last week paired with coffee liqueur. Cheddr is perfect for a first date.. and maybe even a second and third! And also an awesome place for a girls night out!

Cheddr is my favourite place in the Hills. Every experience I’ve had here has been been awesome. The coffee, food, atmosphere, staff and evening cocktails are amazing. I organised a little surprise for my husband with the help one of the owners, Vik and he went above and beyond to help make our night special. He is so passionate about what he does and it rubs off on you as soon as you walk in the door. I can not recommend Cheddr highly enough.

I went there with a friend. Set in an industrial small business setting. It was the last place I would expect to find a cocktail bar. The place was empty... It was a Wednesday evening. We had two surprisingly high quality glasses of wine from the very friendly owner who also asked our opinion of a new whisky sour that he was perfecting. We were told that thur to Sunday evenings were the busy times with the place buzzing and full. All in all, very good, and I'll be back. Probably not drive so I can sample their wares.

Great atmosphere, great ambience and friendly staff. Love the Bye Felicia and We're not Worthy cocktails. The fish taco had a brilliant house made sauce, the cheese board was sublime, and the chocolate cake was wonderful and indulgent. Love the vibrant colours, decor and the hip Californian vibe to the place. Perfect for people who want a fun, sophisticated night out without leaving the Hills district 😋

If you've never been to Cheddr before, the most accurate way I can describe it is that its like a middle class family who drive their son to his 7:30am soccer game on a Saturday in their Mazda CX-5 with roof racks, they live in a house with beige painted walls, and have an extensive home-and-contents insurance policy - they're basic. Cheddr cast a wide net hoping to appeal to as many people as possible, which would be fine if they had any unique character whatsoever. Their cocktails aren't all that interesting, or fantastic. The staff were however absolutely wonderful, which considering it was 40 degrees at 8pm, cannot be taken for granted. It also wasn't air-conditioned, which apparently also cannot be taken for granted either.

The staff were absolutely amazing very informative, helpful, accommodating and friendly! you can tell they put all their love into their cocktails and food! We had the bomalaska and the mascarpone cheese and about 9 rounds of drinks! simply amazing all of it! Nothing is watered down drinks are so strong and super delicious, the atmosphere was perfect super chill, very classy feeling and for me personally felt very intimate. I was there for my birthday with my partner and it was very quite being a late Wednesday night it could not be faulted in the slightest! Thank you cheddr for making my night extremely memorable!

This establishment being quite new, is doing very well to bring a welcome change to an otherwise dull and dreary area. Overall the venue is in a concrete retail business area full of cars parked and closed shops, hardly a vibrant atmosphere. The venue is small, cramped and industrial. It could do with some hits of warmth and an increase of cosines, especially in winter. The bar though is where it's at and that's where they need the most work. Even for a small venue, the cocktail menu is lacking and unimaginative, the liquor variety is limited and insignificantly diverse in depth and breadth. The bar staff and licensee are friendly af and if it wasn't for their inviting warmth this place would be cold as a dungeon. I'm looking forward to watch this place grow and improve over time.

Intimate very small place. cocktails - strictly what's on the menu - had a Felicia (?) very nice. Food standard. dessert - bombalaska - standard but nice. Staff are attentive & create a nice vibe
