We've found this place while we were looking for shelter from the rain and it was a very pleasant experience. The interior design is very stylish and the vibe is super laid back. We weren't particularly hungry so only ordered some hummus which was delicious. Their drinks were nicely presented and very tasty too. Will definitely come back for dinner one day.

Excellent. We had the lamb hummus for an entree and was great. We had the rib-eye which was terrific as well. Service was kind and professional. There was a great choice of drinks and even though we went for whisky, the cocktails served around us looked fantastic. You can find yourselves a quality restaurant playing homage to the Middle East through its incredible food at Bedouin restaurant on Cross Street, Double Bay. Only a short walk from New South Head Road. The decor is luxurious and elegant and you’ll feel like it’s an escape from the city to a vibrant inner oasis with hanging plants and lanterns. There’s a bar with high cane chairs, and a large dining space with long tables and booths with wrap around leather lounge seats arranged to suit a group dining experience and there’s plenty of space if you’re holding an event.Bedouin have a good drinks list with a range of cocktails, wine as well as a good selection of spirits including whisky, you can certainly visit for a drink or two. We enjoyed a mojito and the popular watermelon margarita. It’s an excellent venue choice for group dining, a menu designed to share. There’s ala Carte menu with a range of popular Lebanese/Middle Eastern dishes or the set menu; either meat based or vegetarian is a great option to try the best of what the restaurant has to offer. For the $60 a head the set menu has the following inclusions: A colourful plate of Olives and Lebanese pickles and Vine leaves. Dips: the Hummus and Baba ghanouj. We really enjoyed the Bedouin dips, they were quality, nice and creamy and perfect with the Lebanese bread. Two salads; the ever popular Tabouli and Fattoush salad with crispy pita both made fresh.Some of our favourites were the Falafel which were tasty and dare I say it, deliciously moist. The Kibbeh was well seasoned and cooked. Just when we thought we were full, came out the amazing Kafta and Chicken Shish Skewer. The meat was succulent with a nice char, the chicken with a lovely marinade and the Kafta a good mix of ingredients and plenty of flavour. We also tried the Vegetarian set menu which had meat replacements of Mjudrah a tasty rice and lentil dish, as well as some Sambousek, we loved these cheese filled fried Lebanese dumplings. The lemon tahini tarator cauliflower was nicely prepared and we could not get enough of the Brussel sprouts, it’s amazing what chefs are doing with this vegetable that was despised by many as a child. Finishing off perfectly with a middle Eastern sweet assortment of baklava and halva.

Loved the food here. Lebanese style tapas plates. The brussel sprouts and hummus with pita are must haves. The sambousek puffs are nice and crispy. Plenty of seating available but bookings encouraged. We came with an EatClub voucher which was great. Service is friendly and decor is clean and modern. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Staff are so nice and helpful, the food and drink were really tasty and high quality, not to mention that they came out quickly and the atmosphere here is so nice. The music is tasteful and not too loud the decor is pleasing but best of all is the whole "middle eastern" tent aesthetic they've got going. Been here twice already and I want to come back

I had my 21st birthday here with 30 guests on Saturday and it was amazing! The food was delicious and staff were amazing and incredibly accomodating. In particular Will was fantastic at making sure all my needs were met and regularly communicated with me and my family to check in. She was so lovely and gave me the best birthday ever!

Good Lebanese food in a funky atmosphere. The bar and piano with a singer upstairs was a pleasant surprise. Cocktails feature in the drinks list — it's a bar first and restaurants second, but it's worth going just for that food.

AMAZING food! JUST PHENOMOMAL. Shame the music was so loud that we had to scream at each other to speak and the staff had a tough time. I suspect the service was great but we couldn't tell because we couldn't hear them.... And we are too late to get dessert because the staff couldn't communicate the deadline.

Today we celebrate the engagement of Gertrude and Aldrich . Every single bite of food was simply perfect. I had the Fatoush salad; ripe sweet multi varieties of tomatoes with the freshest ever dressing. The Lamb kibbeh were a new delicious texture and flavour, the Zaatar Rib eye were so tender and amazing. The Octopus dish was cooked and lightly seasoned to perfection. The service was excellent. Special THANK YOU to Dany the host who greet us so warmly and to Ben the Bar manager who recommended the Cha cha cha (must try), in spite of everyone’s continued vigilance regarding the COVID. I would return here often if I lived in Double bay. Five stars were earned on all fronts.

A very trendy place full of beautiful people. Considering the style of restaurant, I felt the waitresses could have been more appropriately dressed (very short cut offs and white t didn't really fit). The food was surprisingly good considering the service wasn't. In fairness, all but one of our servers wasn't great and they were responsible for our drinks which we are still waiting for. When the food did arrive, it did so rather quickly which led me to believe they had piles of it standing by ready to go (of course I hope that's not the case). All in all, a fun place to hang out with pretty good food and definitely worth going in a group.

I have eaten at Bedouin over 15 times. Love the Smokey fish, bbq meats, dips and salads. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The bar serves delicious cocktails and the club always delivers funky music. The ambience is amazing. A great night always!

Overall the service was average. At no time did a waiter come to our table to top up our wine glasses. One of our orders was never brought to our table and the drink orders were not up to standard. The skewers were very nice but we left very unhappy. Not worth the drive or a second visit.

Chic and cosy venue - highly recommend dinner and drinks! The brussel sprouts are the tastiest I've ever had in my life, it's a must order dish. Towards the back of the restaurant is a club, patrons and staff are all very beautiful. Great place to spend a Fri or Sat evening starting with dinner and then dancing till late with friends.
