Had a lovely time at cargo Bar with a couple mates. Was served by Sami (i think) who was very quick in clearing all the glasses and making sure we were attended to. The birria tacos were great and paired well with their cocktails. Can't wait to try more next time!

Great location and reasonably priced drinks for its location. Some of the staff are a bit over the top when they are telling people they have had enough. Had our work Christmas drinks here and it was a very nice venue. Would recommend it to others.

We were there for a Christmas lunch and the overall experience at the table of 15 was underwhelming. The food is a bit expensive for bar food and tasted just average. Lunch special deals or combos were definitely missing. While the staff looked slightly exhausted handling the orders they were still friendly. It is good place for a quick drink by the harborside but they need to up their food game !

Went here for dinner not expecting too much given Cargo is more known for drinks. Ordered the poke bowl and was pleasantly surprised! Dish was fresh and the salmon was cooked to perfection - not over cooked and the char grill gave it a great smokey flavour. Presentation was great too! Would definitely order again if I’m back here for a feed!

Had such a wonderful experience being served by Sami and later by Minoli in the evening(Hope I remembered their names correctly!). They were so lovely, friendly and accommodated us without a booking. They were alert and were there to assist us without us needing to find waitresses to help. I loved the experience so much that I can't wait to book future events at Cargo :) Drinks were prompt, the food tasty and the atmosphere was definitely accentuated by their service! Thanks guys!

Cargo is the place to go to catch up with your mates. It has a great vibe, people who come here are friendly, fantastic harbour view and they provide fresh bar snacks. They've satisfied Sydneysiders for a very very long time so they must be doing something right.

We decided to go with the $59 igloo package on a Tuesday evening. The food is on the simple side but still great value for money. The staff were so attentive! They kept on checking in to see if we needed anything. As it was a cold night, they gave us blankets and ensured we were comfortable with the heating throughout the night. Love this place! The music is amazing, there are always awesome DJs playing. The staff serve you straight away and they are all so friendly - especially Gabby the manager, she's the best! Fantastic venue, service was polite and enthusiastic. Went with 4 friends for bottomless brunch. We launched ourselves into the cocktail jugs, drank as much as humanly possible. We walked away dead sober, but extremely hydrated. So hydrated in fact we don’t have any appetite for further drinks. We are bloody bloated. We spoke to the bartenders and they confessed the jugs had just over a shot in of alcohol content. Maybe they forgot to bring out the alcohol, just like the oysters that never came. I’m not angry, I just feel like it was not what was advertised. And that’s not acceptable at $60 per head. Pull your socks up Cargo.

Good music and food was good too. BUT I am incredibly disappointed with the covid measures being taken. I went to get a glass of water from the bar and the glass STILL had lipstick stains on it !!!! This is absolutely unacceptable. Instead of enjoying my night I was in constant worry of being infected with covid because the cutlery and glasses weren't cleaned...not happy at all. Please do something to ensure you clean everything properly... We don't want to go through a another lockdown and I'm sure you wallets say that too...

Drinks were over priced, food arrived at the table cold, when we adviced staff they refused to replace all the cold dishes and only replaced one dish, which was still cold the second time around. Shame as it was a busy popular bar with most patrons having one drink and moving on not many eating. So really no excuse to serve cold meals.

SO MUCH FUN! 6 of us hired an Igloo for a Friday night and paid $59 for two hours of bottomless wine and beer. We also got an extremely large amount of food - for 3 boys and 3 girls and still had some left over. Special shout out to James who was our waiter for the evening! We were never without a drink and he made the night very enjoyable for us! We want to book in again! Great atmosphere, Great time & Great work James!

My friends and I went here for the igloo experience, which was fun! It wasn’t much more than a sitting in a clear tent with a few chairs, but it was nice to have your own space. The warm cocktails were amazing, and would definitely recommend! Our waiter was also excellent and torched our marshmallows in front of us which was a fun touch! The food was reasonably good, only nibbles though. I probably wouldn’t pay 25 for the igloo again, but would definitely buy the warm cocktail. The inside of the bar was a little loud and noisy.

I can honestly say Noa aka Noodles has been so good over the summer. We have come and gone many weekends and the restrictions have changed and she has had to put up with a lot of harsh people. Someone give her a raise for her patience and service.

Great spot for people-watching at Darling Harbour if you can get a table outside. We enjoyed the Sunday lunch special (potato was a little underdone but the rest of the meal was so good, I am happy to give it a 4*). Going a little after peak lunch time meant we could get a good table, but they do run out out of the Sunday roast beef option if you wait too long.

Didn't buy food, was stopping off with others to have a beer. Beer is expensive, $11 approx for smaller beer, $13+ for larger one. Service is slow because the number of severs is not proportional to the crowd being served, took around 15 mins in the line to get served. To be fair, they do have a Q code where you can order online, perhaps that might have been quicker but some in my group used it and they still had to wait for their meals but they were able to order quicker

Had a few drinks here a number of times. However drinks can be pricey here because of its location i.e. Darling Harbor. The staff here are really pleasant, friendly and accommodating. The food is regular but tasty pub fare. And the Saturday night DJ kept us entertained while we were there.

Good atmosphere. I Was dissapointed that they do not serve cocktails at their first floor bar. I waited in line 15 minutes to order and was told to go upstairs to order cocktails. When I went upstairs they told me the upstairs bar was closed (on a Friday night) and sent my back downstairs to wait in line again.

Had a good night on a Tuesday it was quiet, and easy the heaters outside kept it warm even in winter. The food is pretty good I enjoyed the Parma, although they put the chicken on-top the chips which meant the chips (shoestring) were not as crispy as they might be. The weekly specials looked like good value too.

I really enjoy this place. Obviously a perfect preference and a subject experience, however the evening music and the lighting makes it more enjoyable than most clubs. Theres a great outdoor seating area with heaters for those who don't want to dance or need a place to chat up a new found partner.

This is my new favourite bar in the Darling Harbour area. The drinks are reasonable (XXXX was $8) and the staff are friendly and extremely welcoming. On Friday night we were greeted with great door people and a free can of Red Bull. The music inside was at the right volume, you could hold a normal conversation without having to yell. The lines are small and finding a seat is easy. This is an ideal stop when starting a pub.club crawl in the City. We will be back!

Decent outdoor bar in Darling Harbor. Pretty touristy and has the essentials needed for an afternoon drink. Don’t go if you want a relaxing time, however, since you will be among a high energy crowd. There is nothing remarkable about the space, but it’s convenient and you can get in out of the summer heat. In the winter, it’s more mild.

You can't beat the $10 steaks for lunch (Mon-Wed), not only the quality of the steak is a lot better than other similar offerings around the city, the portion is quite generous too. The only problem you might encounter is trying to pull yourself away from the relaxed atmosphere to head back to work!

My first experience of cargo was last Tuesday for a party, and I’ll definitly be back! The food, atmosphere and drinks were amazing and the location is beautiful. Above this- special mention to the staff who couldn’t do enough for us but in particular to Teddy who really looked after us; ensured our drinks were always filled and we were having the best night possible! Great food but management should fix the roof. As I read other reviews it had bee a issue for a while. Just ate outside in the table 31 beautiful weather but some rain clouds as normal. And roof leaking water behind back and spots on table. Staff knows issue but did not offer towel as rain started had to ask after a while (when saw a staff member )and got it with delay and not so friendly tone.

After years it felt, searching high and low for a nightclub/bar on Mardi gras night, that didn't require the rights to my very soul and $50 to enter. I stumbled upon this gem. The bouncer was lovely and chatty, entry was only $10 (praise because I'm a poor girl) Danced all night, and despite the gross dudes trying to talk to you when you're very obviously gay, it was great. 10/10 will probably never go again because Sydney is a hole. A fantastic place to drink and socialise. It's got a great view overlooking the harbour and some great beats on a Friday or Saturday night. They serve some great cocktails and also have decent food. Drinks are pretty pricey, but they have a good happy hour on Friday evenings.

The crowd is quite pretentious and the drinks are very pricey. It is in a beautiful location that overlooks the water and the music is very good for a dance on a Saturday night!
