We had a pleasant dinner at The Tavern: friendly staff and delicious meal. The lemon pepper barramundi was sooo good. It came with a crunchy side salad and decent serve of fries. A generous sized meal. Sticky date pudding , also thumbs up. The best part was the ordering system, which made the whole experience very convenient. Scan the QR code attached to the table, order on your phone from the menu which comes up, choose a pay option, done. Your table # is attached to your order. A great meal, good service happy customers.

Had a short stop here to enjoy a light meal in open area. The food was delicious and customer service was interesting. Great helpful staff! The sauce on salad was special! Adding to the previous experience, I recently went there again couple of times and enjoyed it a lot! Now after couple of visitors, I can say that this pub has become our place for a relief after a week of hard work! We relax for an hour here and then go home to enjoy weekend!

Had a nice birthday lunch here on 21st of May. First off - the staff who worked that day were amazing! Incredible service. They went out of their way, gave kids candy and even sang happy birthday. They were so lovely. A few things were not so great and i am saying this so they can address these as they are easily fixed. 1) They do not accept the NSW dine and discover vouchers. 2) The pork ribs were not great. a suggestion would be to get them out of the warm water, cover them in a home made bbq sauce and give em a few min on the grill. These tasted boiled and was not great. 3) Steak was burnt. Please fix these things as we would drive all the way from Northern Beaches again just for the service alone.

I did not go there for a big night out, or for atmosphere. It was dinner and a drink with a friend. It was quiet which made it easy to chat the food was very nice and great value "very big meal". All in all it was a nice experience.

Pros: Fantastic pub. Food, drinks, play- everything you will find here. Staff are active and awesome. Good beers on tap. Pizza and other food and beer snacks are yummy. There is a pool table to chill around. Bistro beside it offers good choices of food. Parking is easy and always has enough space. I enjoyed my time here in a rainy evening. Cons: No happy hour.

Better than nothing, but not that impressive when found couple issues : One, they advertises outside that the beer of the month is $5.00, but found that was scam. Visited first Sunday evening around 7 PM but the beer of the month which was Hahn premium light then was sold out? so couldnt get one. Instead other beers pricing was like 7 dollars+ per schooner. The toilet was smelly and wet, no pleasant at all. The food place looks good but didnt try this time. There were many who seemed to enjoying their meals.

We held a last minute kids 1st birthday today. We hadn’t been to the venue in years so we didn’t know what to expect. Ee were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service by the staff. The manager on duty today went above and beyond to ensure our guests were catered for and happy. I’ve actually never had better service while hosting a party at a pub. So happy about the experience and so were our family and friends. We will be back for sure. Pizzas and garlic bread were amazing. Thanks to the manager and the chefs on duty today ! 😊

I had lunch there today with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The tavern has senior specials monday to friday for lunch at $15.00. The beer is on special $6.00 a pint or $5 a schooner for a specific beer which was good. They didnt have lactose free milk but one of the young girls said she is lactose free as well and brings her own. So if i liked i could share hers, What a lovely person. I did and had a very good experience, i told the manager about his wonderful staff, he was pleased. Yes i will be going back.

Last week I went there with my cousins for dinner. And one of my cousin is highly allergic to seafood. Even a micro traces of seafood could lead to very serious health issues. But the chef took attention to every details that all our food orders are made without any cross contamination with seafood and the foods were very delicious with a lovely and warm service. Thought I would send a message to you about my experience at the hotel. Upon entry I had to sign in using a contactless QR code (awesome) then I overheard a younger patron advise that he didn't supply his real details. The manager approached him and coached the person about the seriousness of the hotel maintaining tracing. Then proceeded to ask the person to leave the hotel. Great work by this worker. Keeping the rest of the community safe.

What a great venue. We dropped in last night after a big day with the family for Easter. It was so convenient for an easy quality meal, and as normal you did not disappoint. I had the steak and my partner had the burger. Even with a public holiday surcharge it was value for money. Staff were amazing nothing but helpful.

enjoyed the food. reasonably priced and the serving size was good! we ordered sticky date pudding for desert, however when we went up for our dish and to ask them for it, the cook looked extremely confused, even though sticky date was on the menu. the other chef offered churros though, so we had those instead even if it wasn’t on the menu. overall, was a good place for a casual bite.

Friendly and approachable waitress on the 22nd of December 2018. She was an amazing young lady who helped my two moms up the stairs despite her being on the go. She even waited till we were all up and safe not forgetting huffing and puffing. A good place but it needs a ramp or lift. Not suitable for persons like me with mobility issues. 5 stars for staff and 3 for the building. Its not disability friendly.

A great little pub. Staff are always friendly. The Carlton Draught is always cold and fresh. They make a really tasty bowl of chips for $7.50. Their steak sandwich is really tasty, tender and so filling I couldn't finish my chips.

This is a great dog park. Well fenced, water provided, and was recently given new grass. Does lack shade a bit for the owners, so bring sun protection on hot days. Almost all dogs we've met there have been well behaved.

I went to this fancy & nice looking restaurant on the 20th of June. the food they provided was fantastic, the rump steak was spontaneously good & it packed a lot of flavour, the chips were well done & seasoned but not only that the salad was a perfect add to the dish. i would like to greet my tita (filipino translation - aunty) a fantastic job on cooking the steak or whoever the chef was doing my food. i would like to give my thanks to the kitchen for providing the goods in our time for lunch & also providing a spectacular hospitality for me & my close mates. This makes it a 50/50 and i can guarantee the dishes they provide can put a smile on your face.

Let me tell you all. Its best foods within 20km diameters. You will be surprised. Kitchen staffs are so lovely and helpful. Just a bit old experienced tap attendants are rude, and self centered thoughtless standings.

Came here for a 21st party and we had booked a function room, for our drinks we had the honour to be appointed a very social and excellent example if a bartender named Daniel. He went above and beyond to ensure that we all have a wonderful night celebrating the birthday. I highly recommend this place for functions as they look after you very well (hope you're as lucky as we were and U get Daniel)

The serving sizes of the food is quite adequate and the waiting times seem rather quick. As somewhat of a connoisseur when it comes to a Chicken Schnitzel, let me tell you its great. The Tav is my local. As long as they keep serving Reschs on tap it always will be. It has seen better days and could definitely do with a face-lift - particularly the beer garden - but on the whole it's good place for a beer and a feed. The quality of food has improved recently although still a little on the high-side for pub food. As a parent, I would also suggest that they use real chicken for their chicken nuggets rather than the processed stuff. Generally speaking staff are friendly. The upstairs area is ideal for private functions. At the time writing it was free room hire.

Ok i have to say i disagree with these ratings. I had an amazing time. The place had its quirks and the staff was great. Got there on a Saturday night and felt like a road trip and ended up there. Had dinner and the portions and variety to choose from was great. Tried the 'Tav Dog' which is basically a super hot dog and that was delicious. Def gav Harry's hot dog de' wheels a run. What actually made my night and you'd have to go searching for it, on the upper level where no one really goes to, there was an awesome set up for a chill out area. It had a cool (life size) floor chess set up and to the side there were these plush leather couches (straight out of a men's club) Its old style meets new which added a certain type of character. Would def recommend going for a night out. It was random, it was fun. I suppose its what you make of the place. I had a blast and keep an eye out for amateur karaoke singers, there's a hidden gem there that blew me away with their voice.

The Tav is not what to used to be. Completely renovated with a fancy pokies room and beer garden. The bistro would the highlight these days. The godfather chicken Parma was stunning - kind of a meat lovers mixture dumped on top. Other meals on offer, pizza, steak and pasta (standard pub meals). Reasonably priced - $10-$25. Plenty of free parking and a complimentary shuttle bus for the locals.
