Holy sh*t! The food here is amazing, incredibly authentic/extra south east Asian food. PLUS rare beer like Beer Lao to wash it down, be prepared for some serious spice sweat!

Good environment, food is delicious and have lots of options, they have great promotion every day for drinking. Clean toilets and live music playing in Thai they have few covers in English overall it's a good spot for drinks and eat.

One of my most favorite places to chill out back in the days of student life in Sydney. Having met and made some good friends here, that memory is something I really treasure. C Bar is specialized in Thai cuisine (which is also my favorite) and the beer here is sold at very reasonable price. Some more to be noted: - Live Thai band performance almost everyday. - Large pokie room. - Great location, just some steps across Belmore to reach Central station.

Every time when I visit Sydney. I have to come here for spicy authentic delicious Thai - E-San food. It's almost a self service when you have to order and pay at the counter. Then pick up your order when it's ready. However, the waiting isn't take too long. On the weekend can be noisy with a live band. If you like authentic Thai flavour. I would recommend this place.

Great authentic Thai food in a relaxing environment. The downstairs bar has large windows that provide plenty of natural light and fresh air. Upstairs is another seating and bar area. Their facilities also include TVs with most sports and a TAB for races

A pleasant but quiet pub close to central station. Staff are very friendly and a reasonable selection of food. There are tables on the footpath however you are not allowed to smoke at them which means s frustrating when talking with friends. The indoor VIP lounge allows smoking and appears to be cleaned regularly by staff. A nice bar for a quiet drink during the day

Popular hotel so that's a good sign. Happy hour drinks 5-7pm. Great Thai food or pub food to order. Only ever had the Thai which is very tasty with quick service. Good if you're going to the Capitol Theatre.

Really enjoy the authentic Thai food from the no thrills bistro. The duck larb was spicy, full of flavour and delicious. Crying tiger also yum, nothing else on the plate. This place is not about fancy presentation just simple, well executed, generous, tasty food. The pub is also not for those seeking a funky atmosphere but it is honest and kind of fun. I will be back

Went to the Chamberlain on Sunday to eat and watch the Grand final, we eat started to watch the football, staff wouldn't turn sound up, Ok, 1 staff said if you want to watch football, I should go to sports Bar, then at 8pm a staff member put a reservation sign on our table, saying to leave by 9pm , so we all got up and went somewhere else to watch the football, Not the way to treat customers that been coming there for years,

The pub has a Thai restaurant attached which seems to attract the Thai community, our party being the only non-Asian group in the whole place. Reasonable selection of drinks, reasonable prices, the food looked good. Unfortunately it was very loud, to the point that we couldn't even hear each other talk, so we left after just one drink.

The Chamberlain is one of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The interior is relatively small but welcoming, families dining with their children and babies. The C- Bar (fitting seeing as the bar forms a 'C' shape) offers some delightful mocktail and cocktail choices and the service is friendly. In terms of room space, the bar certainly took up a great deal of the floor space. Me and my mate got there around dinner time so it had quite a crowd but we managed to find a seat after 15-20 minutes.I was excited about eating here tonight because of it's famous $10 schnitzel meal deal...we ordered dinner and it was okay...nothing special. The schnitty ended up being $13.50, the breast fillet (though cooked well) was quite small and it was served with french fries (not fresh) and gravy. Our meals weren't too bad but for my part, and I almost always order the schnitty at any pub I go to... the Chamberlain's grub probably isn't the best value for your dollar.

Nice cosy pub deep in the pit of pit st with a TAB, a big vip room if you feel like a cheeky slap or feeding a few bob into the gambler... But for me its all about the Sabb Verr Bistro nestled within.. This bistro pushes out authentic thai dishes with plenty of western choices... Fantastic service and a great place to hide out from the rat race over a local frothy and the sweet smell of quality food. Only reason its 4 stars not 5 is that it was sold out of massman on this particular occasion, that was a big piece of concrete to swallow.
