Fresh and inviting venue with large comfortable indoors seating options and a large outdoor beer garden. Menu is hard to fault. Multiple visits failed to disappoint. The Stracciatella cheese paired with the stone baked bread is a high point, kids meals can hardly be called that, chicken tenders and cheese burger good enough for any adult meal. Highly recommend

Nice ambience. Great food and service. Very down to earth. Shout out to the bread and the half roast chicken. Spectacular! Also the cocktail was on point. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, and friendly staff are just the beginning. This bar/restaurant has 3 distinct sections that all have a slightly different feel to them, but are all connected airy and open. Just a short walk down hill from the outdoor eating area, is a public jetty.

Social distancing at it’s best. Lots and lots of space between tables. Typical pub menu and pizzas. Surprised that there is no cider on tap. Just cans! Friendly staff. Seafood pizza and cheese burger were good, sticky date pudding was cold- not so nice.

Got a table on walk-in, food was lovely (little bit of a wait about 40mins) but dog-friendly and drinks were tasty! Would recommend for a casual laid back dinner with your furry friend in tow.

Nice venue, we were early on a Saturday night for dinner. The food was yummy, the salt & pepper squid was amazing. Serving sizes were reasonable, although certainly not on the large portion size. Food came out in good time. It is on the pricey side.

This place is a must to visit, especially if you go with your doggo! Friendly staff (Caroline and Eliza are awesome), good pub grub and a great all-round venue to visit and chill out. Highly recommended by us :)

Went last night with extended family members..14 of us in total and had a great experience. Very COVID friendly (in a good way) with QR code based ordering, fast service and good food. Atmosphere is large, modern, and comfortable. Food could’ve been a little hotter (a number of our group mention there meals were moderately warm) but otherwise steak, pizza, schnitzel, and burgers were all hits. Special mention to the salt and pepper calamari!! We’ll be back!

Lovely location and large modern bar/restaurant with plenty of spaces to choose from. The meal we had was fine, nothing I’ll remember in years to come (but that’s okay). ⭐️ Gains a star for helpful and friendly staff, meal arrived quickly. Note that main menu starts at 4.30pm, a detail I didn’t see written anywhere. 👎 Drops a star for the uninspired mass brewery selection of beer. 👎 Drops another star for the smokers area being just in front of the outdoor beer garden. The sea breeze means the smoke is going to head towards the pub/restaurant.

Friendly helpful staff. Food was disappointing. Pizza was cold and sloppy, very soft underneath. They did heat it up for me more which was good of them. Chips were cold. Burger was ok. Kids pasta was tasty but tiny. Had salt and pepper squid last time which I wouldn’t order again. Clam chowder was very nice! Salad needed more dressing. Not a great choice on menu. Giving my honest opinion.

Some people may complain about the choice of food, but when it comes down to it this place is a pub at heart, so expect a pub menu and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Great setup, nicely decorated with a mix of industrial chic with more classy elements. Fast service by friendly staff. Value for money. Some people.have mentioned that lack of cider on the pump but I'm.not a cider drinker so can't mark it down on that. Pool tables, big screens for sports, no pokies on sight. Bistro separated from the bar. Loads of seating, inside and out. Deserves much higher ratings than it has.

The pizza was amazing, the ordering service 'Me&U' is fantastic. The only thing I can recommend is there to be more extras added on the pizza, or for the extras to be slightly cheaper. The mushroom '$3' extra was sliced thick and was delicious, however was quite sparse. I also added extra chorizo '$4' and it was only on about half the pizza slices and was basically a chorizo mince. Nevertheless, the food was very delicious, service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere set the mood for a wonderful summer night 🎶.

Nice relaxed vibe. Restaurant has seating in doors and out with heavily filtered water views. Love the fact it is dog friendly. Don't quite understand why it took over 40 mins for our lunches at 1:45 in the arvo when the place was at half capacity. Oh and in case you were wondering, no they don't offer gourmet hot dogs. Food was average. No one in our party of six was impressed. We would return with our dogs but otherwise there are better options out there around the bay area.

Agree there are a lot of staff but that's a good thing! We had lots of friendly chat with the staff members who were really nice. Burgers are really nice as is the fried chicken and the pizzas looked top notch. The space is big but airy and cool. Lots of families in there too and the gambling stuff is hidden away.Only odd thing was no orange juice at either bar. And they said no soda water either when asked although another staff member said they did have it. All in all a great addition to the area!

Stopped in for an afternoon beer, inside looks to be plenty of room of seating and focused around a sports area with TVs etc. Walking through there is a nice dining seating area and then outside had a nice layout of seating. Beer prices were average, didn't get chance to eat but will be coming back for the food next time

Wonderful transformation from a great old pub to a fantastic new Bar! It is light and spacious..... I love how the tables have lots of room between them, not all crammed in together. It adds to the wonderful atmosphere. Also a wonderful location.

We enjoyed our first visit to Cheeky Dog on the night Drag Queen Timberlina performed her 'DRAG BINGO' show. It was hysterically funny (a bit cheeky, but aimed at Adults only) We ordered a seafood pizza & it was delicious. Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was fun!

Great to have a local pub but pretty pricey. They have ‘pork scratchings’ on offer - thought might be good with a beer. DISGUSTING! Plastic puffed things, even glossy looking. Do not order as the are inedible.

We are at the cheeky dog downstairs as visitors to the hotel. Maybe this place will get organised one day but today is not that day. The food is overpriced for what you get. They've got twice as many staff on as required but make up for this by having their staff aimlessly looking around for something to do yet somehow service can still be slow. The eating area was too loud and the outdoor area too useless to use. Hint: shade sails would help. I'm a dog lover but was amazed to see two groups allowed to bring their dogs inside.

Loving the venue but can't work out who they are trying to appeal. Food is trendy but small quantities...even the fries are shoestring! Don't get me started on polenta fries instead of beer battered fries. Lose the little plates, table was swamped in mini servings of cherry tomato, chili peppers, procuitto etc instead of a large board. Mmm does this mean a line of little plates sitting in the coolroom, easy pickings?

Could so easily be a 5***** rating but why oh why when making an authentic pizza would you use Napoletana Sauce with that horrible fake basil flavouring , plus smoked eggplant , but infused with fake smoked flavour .. it’s so simple to buy bulk good Italian Red Sauce and just use real charred eggplant , please ...will give it another try though .
