You can't go to Crescent Heads and not go here. The proprietors are absolute gems and it is the best laid back atmosphere for everyone; singles through to families. Gorgeous bar staff and awesome owners. If you don't go there your trip to this hidden gem will be wasted.

What a difference 12 months makes. Last year couldn't get a hello out of staff at the tavern, now sitting down having schooners with friends staff give us a plate of finger food to share. Also now able to pay with tap and go.Great atmosphere good service highly recommended.

We had a great meal here with a group of 14 including kids. The meals were great, service was very quick, and the chef Matt was incredibly accommodating for my daughter’s coeliac. The staff Kate and Annabelle were also were helpful. Will definitely return.

We went on opening night and the lamb racks were melt in your mouth amazing! Definitely will be back next trip to try something else on the menu. I really give them credit for being so accommodating to dietary requirements! Very appreciative!

Bistro serves a mix of pub food and Vietnamese. We had a Vietnamese warm beef salad which was really great and a chicken parmy which was tasty but nothing to rave about. Service was friendly, lots of space with no issues with social distancing. Would go again and get more Vietnamese food :)

Great location. Gage roads Summer ale on tap. The food was excellent and arrived quickly. It will be a fabulous venue once all the upgrades are completed.

Beautiful little spot for lunch, in saying that I've never been In a pub with so many signs telling you what you aren't allowed to do or touch. Even having to ask for a key for the loo, very uninviting vibe. But the food was good.

Overall, a good tavern experience. It has a good selection of beer and wine. Food was a little expensive but it was filling. The staff were cheery. However, I was concerned that the children were not able to access water at the bar.

Love this place but a few things let it down. It has so much potential yet it was empty. The 'Club' however was packed. Perhaps a change in management and tactics will improve this venue's chances. It deserves to be better and busier than what it currently is. The world is it's oyster and it is missing out especially with the views that it has!

Nice place to have a quiet drink and take in the view, the owner and his wife are quiet plesent and the food smells good although I didn't eat there. Couldn't understand why the toilets where locked and you had to ask for the key every time I needed to go, I guess there is a reason behind it but I have taken a star off because of that View of the beach is fantastic and worth a visit

Best place to go the toilet in town!! Toilets reserved for patrons so put your conscience at rest and buy a Saraparilla at the bar after you go!. Beautiful view from bar, best view from a pub in this latitude!! Great, friendly bar service.
