By no way a 4 ⭐️ venue but I’m giving 4 stars coz I see too many negative reviews here & also I had a very good time (maybe I’m the exception?) Good - nice cozy room and comfy seats - song selection is adequate - reasonably sized rooms for big crowds - sound system is not as bad as everyone says Bad - dirty toilets - sticky floors - no paper hand towels Was presently surprised when staff asked us to turn the volume UP Overall had good fun with friends

Good location. Plenty of food and drinks available. Music selection was somewhat limited, you won't find every classic you want to belt out. There are plenty of kids favourites in the Disney line though if that helps. People were helpful and gave good service. Rooms are generously sized. (We were a group of 4) Use a groupon and the price is really good. Standard pricing is not bad either.

CONS Initial booking was done over the phone. The woman who answered was rude - not a good start! Follow up email with questions remain (to this day) unanswered. On arrival to the premise on a Saturday night, we were 'greeted' by a gent who doesn't seem to know how to smile (his attitude seemed to change depending on nationality - we were a group of anglo & one Kiwi). Notices on the bar instructed us to order drinks from reception - turns out 'reception' was the end of the bar where the unfriendly guy was! Side Note: They don't sell soju which was a huge let down for us - karaoke & soju kinda go hand in hand right?! PROS Awesome entry, with replicas of terracotta warriors welcoming us. (They also had a lift if you didn't want to walk up the one flight of stairs - the lift was out of order when we went to leave). The 'lounge' area was fabulous, with a large screen, comfy chairs and plenty of room to relax until your room is ready. We hired the 'VIP' room (TBH I'm unsure what the difference is between a normal room and the VIP room, but we were very happy with what we were given). We were a group of 4 and the room was nice and cosy with plenty of comfy seating in front of a decent sized screen. (We did spy another room which could cater for a larger group, and it looked great as well). The karaoke machine is probably the best setup I've seen in any karaoke venue in Sydney so far. Very modern with a fabulous selection of songs (English and other languages). We went to try our voices at singing KPop and were pleasantly surprised with over 100 KPop dedicated songs to choose from! The food we ordered was really delicious and pretty good value for money. We ordered jugs of cocktails which went down a treat. Each jug gave the four of us 1.5-2 average sized glasses each). A gent came into the room just after our finish time (we had the room for 2 hours which sped by!) and we pretty much had to run out of the room as they started cleaning immediately for the next group (which was ok). The only female staff member who we had any interaction with, was absolutely wonderful - very friendly and explained how to use the machine without any problem. Toilet cleanliness was ok. I'm glad we were female because the smell of urine coming from the men's next door (same entrance/exit points) was pretty overpowering - and we went early evening before peak time!). Also it seems there aren't basins in the men's area as they would then come into the ladies section to use the taps (which were kind of next to the main POE). Overall it was a pretty good place to visit and we'd go back again. It's a pity our first impression (with the phone call and not so friendly on duty manager) was lacking - but all in all, that can be overlooked with everything else. We arrived for a 6.30pm session and walked straight in. Upon exit at 8.30pm they did have security guards checking ID and wands to check for items you shouldn't have on you. Hope this review is helpful!

Cool venue and friendly staff, but their music lists could definitely use some additions. None of the songs that I wanted for karaoke came up in the search results. :(

Ubered by late on a Sunday to get in some songs on the main stage. Unfortunately 50 people were already in, but security was very professional about the situation and the people coming out were having a good time. I recommend calling ahead to see if there's still space! Will try again after social distancing restrictions are loosened a bit more.

First time going to dynasty Karaoke on Wednesday. I was taken back by the rudeness of the staff. The sound system used in Karaoke rooms were superior to other places. There was no autotune, no autovibrato, minimal echo. Captured the fullness of our voices. The rooms were a bit beaten up but was still reasonable. With the best Karaoke sound system compared to other Karaoke places like mizuya, K1, CEO, Echo point, Dynasty should focus their core competency around bringing people in to experience the great sound system and have better staff. -- Returned again on the 9th September. Super busy night. Understandable for the service to be lacking because the staff were very thinly spread. Louis, the man! Gave reasonable compensation for the lack of service and made the night much better for myself and my friends.

Great set up, comfortable rooms, the VIP room has a private bathroom, very convenient. Massive selection of music, English and Chinese languages. Theres also an open dance floor with Djs, a small entertainment section with dart games and good selection of liquor. Fun for a night out of singing and dancing.

Really new and clean facility, it is quite comfy for a karaoke. The service was super unfriendly especially at the bar/front counter. I felt unwelcomed and this was a let down considering everything else was quite trendy and upmarket.

Everything was good except the food/drink policy. We were asked to put our empty bottle in the bin. Seriously????Empty bottle that I can not hold????You've got to be kidding me.

The machine wouldn't let us play certain songs that were listed as available. When it came to that song or you pressed play on it, a random song would.be played instead. The staff were unable to fix the problem. I really wanted to sing Vanessa Carlton 1000 miles and kept getting blocked so I was disappointed with my experience (understandably).
