I visited this karaoke bar on Sunday Night for the 1st time. It was easy to book online and Darren was very polite and friendly with the confirmation. We had so much fun from 10pm - 2:30am and extended our time beyond midnight. Very decent song selection and sound. The system was pretty easy to work out once you got the hang of it. We wanted to sing a lot of 90's grunge songs and they had a good mix of these! We were drinking, singing, talking, laughing and dancing in our spacious room. This is highly recommended for a great night out. Wonderful therapy. Thankyou guys I will be back. Please save me a room. Kind Regards, Nathan

Echo Point is the only place I know in Sydney that has the Joysound system for Japanese songs. I've been here a few times and I can say that I've had a very enjoyable experience each time. The karaoke prices are relatively cheap and the rooms are well maintained. They also serve decent Japanese food if you're hungry. Definitely my most recommend karaoke place!

This place is pretty great. The prices were reasonable and they have a rather good selection of songs, both in some Asian languages and in English. I know I've been to some karaoke-room-style places that didn't have a great selection of English songs, but this one is very good. The room was pretty clean and the equipment was easy to use. Can't speak much to any food/drinks served because we didn't get any. Me and my friends had a great time. I'd totally go back here again.

Thanks to the team at Echo Point for always ensuring we have a great experience! My group and I always use the Joysound system and have a great time! The staff have always been very friendly with us and I think they're starting to recognise me 😁 Some improvement points: 1. Could you please update the Joysound system more often? 2. Expanded hot drinks selection would be nice. 3. Some improved food options would really help. If you make the food a little more affordable and improve the quality I think more people would be willing to buy it (I know we would!) rather than eat elsewhere before coming.

Wish I knew about this place sooner! So much fun. Highly recommend if you have a group of 8 or so. Pretty economical and the venue offers food,drink and alcohol. The rooms are fitted out nicely and provide good sound and lighting effects. You should book ahead to make sure you get a room as this place gets busy.

Been to this karaoke venue many times. The staff have always been really helpful. There are plenty of rooms and the prices are reasonable. There is a great variation of songs between different languages which was impressive. We will come back for sure.

Place was fine, staff spoke Cantonese, Chinese and Korean. Good variety of songs hopefully it doesn't infringe any copyright laws. Prices were good. The security guard at the entrance was hilarious and friendly very welcoming. Will be coming back in the future for karaoke. However the sound system was ok hence the 3 stars. Delighted! First time to celebrate my wife’s birthday at overseas karaoke, she absolutely loved it. The room is clean and tidy with many of latest songs. It is a also good way to chill after a long day of shopping in George Street. Great place as alternative to the usual pub or bar.

I went many karaoke club in Sydney and finally found exciting Karaoke club. It is here Echo-point Karaoke. A fantastic experience!! The song list is up to date, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Especially Japanese song list are really up to date. I never see this much song in another Karaoke club. Room is not too fancy but gorgeous. It is just I looking for. Definitely I will back here.

The place is great fun, go with a group of friends, book a few hours, you might think 3 hours of Karaoke is a long time, but it flies by, it's so much fun especially with friends, I recommend making a list of songs you enjoy singing along to before hand, because it's surprisingly hard to think of songs on the go. This place also sells drinks for when you get thirsty. I'll definitely be back!

Straightforward staff who seemed to only be there to do their job. But it was a good experience - there were a large list of songs to choose from and a clean room to enjoy. The screen was large and clear with words. Songs available in Japanese (with katakana not romaji), Korean (in hangul) and English (in English). Not a lot of range with more popular Korean artists/groups.

Echo Point is a no bs karaoke joint. It might not look particularly fancy or inviting from the outside and compared to other karaoke places I've been to in the city, it's not very glamorous, but I don't go to karaoke to look at the art on the walls. I go to sing very badly in broken Japanese. Echo Point has joysound systems that are updated every few months which is a fairly big deal for those that want it. Its the number 1 reason I choose it; the Song selection is always great. To Echo Points credit, the place has gotten refurbished since I last went (probably a year or two ago) it looks much nicer now inside, so props to that.

There isn’t much that differentiates it from Other karaeoke bars, but its was a pretty good experience. Private rooms, clean bathrooms and a good selection of western music with actual film clips accompanying the songs... not those weird ones that get made and don’t match.

Multiple languages available including English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and others. No flashy light settings in the room, and no airconditioning was felt when I visited. Microphone doesn't have a one-use hygiene cover, and the karaoke machine stopped working mid-way, and some buttons are only in Japanese, so it can be hard to navigate and stop songs. However, this place is one of the karaoke available at night time that is low price, so I am mildly satisfied.

We were frisked at the door and checked with a metal detector wand, so I'm guessing they've had some trouble in the past. The drinks are good and you can buy beer by the jug to make it a little more economical. The rooms are good but we found one microphone did not work so well. Security was tight inside as well with a guard constantly on patrol in the hallway. Snacks were okay but small, I ordered the potato wedges for $6 and there was maybe 15 wedges.

Finally! They have renovated the place. For years this was the best and most comprehensive place to get Japanese Karaoke songs. Although the have raised the price, it is now in-line with most of the other karaoke places around the city. The only down side is you have to indicate whether you want the Japanese system or the English system and they will have different songs available. If you choose the English system, you will miss out on the huge variety of Japanese music. If you choose the Japanese system, it is a bit clunky and not user friendly.

Overall it is one of the best Karaoke venues in Sydney given its cheaper rates on room hires and alochol as opposed to other pouplar venues. They had renovated last year so it is quite fancy now. As far as Karaoke system, they have Japanese and English system we could choose. More choices can mean something. I prefer the touch screen system though. Highly recommened to you!

If you're down for a relatively cheap karaoke place I'd recommend echo point. There's choices of either English or Asian (joysound) karaoke systems and they more or less work without any issues. The rooms themselves are relatively clean and spacious enough to fit a wide variety of groups and most importantly there's enough ventilation to keep it cool. I would have to say though the one down side is the strict rules for liquids and bag check when you get a room. Unfortunately most bottles or liquids are confiscated just incase there's alcohol in them but water and clearly labelled soft drinks are also confiscated. This makes you have to shell out a bit for drinks later or go back to the counter for a swig of your drinks that got confiscated. If they offer free tap water on the side that they could supply in each room that would change my rating to a five here.

After renovation this is the place I have been going to for karaoke. They have a wide selection of songs (especially Japanese songs on Joysound). The rooms are a decent size and can get stuffy sometimes but the people at the counter are always friendly.

Not the easiest place to find, located at the basement level with only a door sized entrance from the street. The joysound karaoke system provides a large library of songs including English, Japanese, Korean and many other languages and is arguable the best feature of Echo Point. That and the well priced rates more than make up for the dimly lit rooms with peeling walls.

One of the only places in Sydney with Joysound + UGA system which means it IS the place to go for those who wish to sing Japanese songs. In fact, the Japanese song selection is unbeaten by any other place in Sydney but less can be said about its English selection of songs. The downside is the dank and run-down basement type of atmosphere which the place gives off and furnishings that look like it has been there for decades, however for its cheap price, you do pay what you get.
