We've been drinking Four Pillars for a while now at home but coming here and sipping in the bespoke drinks is quite an experience! GnT is done perfectly and I can see the appeal (especially happy hour) to get a few rounds started. Definitely check out the shop on the ground floor to get some unique bottles back home (some of which I was told that they are not available internationally)

Very chill atmosphere, nice little moody spot tucked away in the corner of Crown. Tanlines drink was sweet, aromatic and amazing in taste. Collard Greens on the other hand, should be avoided at all costs.

Fun place with fantastic service & good gin! No problem with the food other than the small servings for the price. A gin bar with finger food which would be perfect for a pre-dinner stop. But overall, a lovely spot that my wife & I love. 👍

Been here multiple times and only had fantastic experiences, our waitress tonight, Amy, was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the cocktails they have available at the moment but the entire process and ingredients of each gin they stock, absolutely astounding service, every drink was phenomanally balanced and a genuine treat to enjoy, couldn't speak more highly of this venue, if you're a lover of gin this is an absolute must visit! See you next time!!

Visited this place very randomly and I must say it was love at first visit :) Amazing staff who are very well educated about the menu. The food was amazing and the cocktails are perfection. Amazing experimental and unique cocktails, a much better experience than just the regular cocktails at most bars. Everything we ordered looked beautiful and most tasted superb, around $20 a drink. Great vibes, friendly staff and nice interior decor made it an excellent evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon at the lab recently! It was slick, polished and perfect for an afternoon - into - the - evening kind of drinks time and the snacks are as good as the drinks! Definitely go for the Gheenius, so delicious and make sure you get the salt & gin/vinegar chips and marinated olives, as we did!

Delicious cocktails! Have always been a fan of four pillars gin, the laboratory is a great place to try their delicious concoctions. You can also pick up a bottle from the store downstairs from the bar. Staff were super friendly and it was a great place for drinks whether you like gin or not.

Visited Eileen's Bar for the first time last Friday night and loved it! Chill atmosphere, friendly staff and really nice cocktails (guess my favourite of them would be a special off the menu Japanese one I had, because of it's unique look and taste).

Fantastic bar and incredible cocktails from Four Pillars. If you are a craft gin lover you most be know Four Pillars from Victoria. Eileen’s bar has many flavor options for the cocktails I tried a few cocktails and all were amazing. My favorite one is Oki Doki Hinoki, CHANGING seasons gin, Toji junmai, Hinoki, Yuzu. I never have gin x sake base cocktail I totally agree charge deposit to secure the booking. You guys doing excellent job, and I definitely will come back soon.

New to Surry Hills is the Four Pillars Gin Distillery, retail shop, cocktail bar “Eileen’s” and the Four Pillars Drinks Lab, where you can enrol in a gin masterclass. I’ve been to their distillery in the Yarra Valley, Victoria many years ago and absolutely love Four Pillars Gin. So when I heard they were opening up in NSW, I knew it would be a place to visit. We made sure to book ahead and it was necessary, for it was booked out for weeks. We were excited to get a booking for a group of 4 and headed in one Friday night for our gin experience. From the street you’ll be first met with a brightly lit gin sign. This shop frontage shows off the retail shop which sells their small-batch gin varieties as well as the mainstream options. For the bar, line up outside and the maître d will let you in and ascend upstairs right on time for your session, which is booked in 1.5 hour time slots. Eileens Bar is named after the giant copper still dominating the Lab which is attached to the bar and used to run masterclasses. For the bar, you make a booking with a $20 deposit which comes off your bill at the end. This gin bar is out of this world good, The incredible range of cocktails shows the versatility of gin in their creations. From their dry gin, spiced Negroni gin, navy strength gin, modern Australian gin, Changing seasons gin, Sherry cask gin, Chardonnay gin, or a current popular choice is their limited edition rare Shiraz gin. You can try on the rocks, with tonic or as a cocktail. This bar has some of the best cocktails we’ve had to date. So many flavour options for the cocktails we tried a few and all were impressive. Bear Hug - bloody Shiraz Gin with pickled pear, pistachio and cassia Inner Bloom - modern Australian gin, Davidson plum, macadamia and blood lime Oki Doki Hinoki - changing seasons gin, toji junmai, hinoki, yuzu Purple Yamos - bloody Shiraz gin, ube whey, citrus and whites They do have classic cocktails, beers, wines and ciders, though I’m not sure why you’d want these when there are so many good cocktails. If you’re not a gin fan, the cocktails will undoubtedly change that. The bar space is super cool, with bar seating, booths and tables. A dimly lit area with some lamps on the tables, and despite its expansive size, the lighting makes the space feel cozy and intimate. A centre bar dominates the space with neatly hanging bottles of gin. The colours are sleek, with natural elements; dark wood, exposed brick and black metal stools at the bar. We are provided with some bar snacks; nuts which are dusted in gin salt, and some popcorn. We order some salt and vinegar crisps as well as cheese and crackers with marmalade. There is some more substantial options like a Jaffle or party pies. Our wait staff were excellent, the waitress that served us, Amber was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on all of the drinks. We get the sense that she has had great training but also loves her work, and the gin. You do need to make a booking, but make sure you do way ahead of time as it’s super popular. We will most certainly return.

A solid range of gin and cocktails from Four Pillars, and some nice nibbles to boot. A good place for a group for pre dinner drinks. However, I don't think they ought to take paid bookings with a required per person booking fee. It would be a better vibe if it were a bar with bookings, rather than selling it as an event (I'm not sure what the booking fee per person is used for and one friend was under the impression we were doing gin tasting not just a cocktail). Otherwise, good to try a range of their gin and cocktail expressions.

Gorgeous bar. It definitely has a great vibe. Nice place for drinks and a chat. No food on the menu other than snacks so might be a good spot for pre-drinks or after dinner drinks. The gin was delicious and they had a great menu of cocktails. Definitely recommend if you're a gin lover!

Interesting variety of cocktails, which have clearly been thought through and are innovative but well-balanced. The staff were friendly, prices as expected ($15-22 per drink...). I find all of these venues too dark, and too loud, and the bathrooms weren't great.

We've been to both the bar and shop a few times now since they've opened. The staff are all so ridiculously nice, engaging, and friendly. I'm delighted that I can pop in and get my gin goodies locally now like the limited gins or marmalade. They're very helpful in writing down mixer and cocktail ideas for me to go with my purchases. The bar itself is gorgeously sleek and cocktails are so nuanced and beautifully presented, it really reminds me of molecular gastronomy but for drinks (please never get rid of Money Trees!). Honestly the multiple layers to these cocktails are really something special to be savored like you would a 10 course meal. We really enjoy the snacks too like the taramasalata dip. Hopefully soon we can attend one of their masterclasses because they sounds really interesting!

Very cool bar in a refurbished factory with all the Four Pillars gins on the menu. Everything is basically designed to bring out the gins, like the bar snacks marinated in gin botanicals. Each sitting is around 90 minutes which let's you get through a few of the Four Pillars staples.
