Had a Xmas party for greenwell point men's shed on Thursday. 30 members took part , the oldest 95 , meals excellent cooked by Kelly our favourite cook. We collect bottles,cans, daily from pub. They donate some great pizzas monthly which are greatly appreciated.well looked after by the staff.

Took a punt off the reviews. True, the interior was dated. But everything was very clean and tidy and the food was fantastic. We ordered a chicken snitty burger and Szechuan prawns. Both meals were large and great quality! We will be back.

Called in with my Ulysses mates. Once you get past the decor and dated interior, the beer is good and cold, food great value, menu varied. Staff were friendly. So, don't be put off by the decor, give it a go.

As others have said, dated and fairly run down in appearance, probably because finances may be tight, ie, power prices etc. What put us off more than anything was the pong from smokers whose smoke was throughout the pub as all doors were open, allowing smoke in from smokers just outside doors which brings me back to my comment re power costs with no a/c, the smoke just drifts in the open doors and non smokers just drift out through the same doors!!! Get with the times Greenwell Point pub & ensure your customers can enjoy time in your business or else they will go elsewhere, like the nearby club. Having had my shot, the pizza was very good.

Went for dinner. The pizza was nice but that beer battered flathead was quite oily. The salad bar is a great idea although not as good as the old owners its still a great place to dine at.

Classic pub with an ancient 80s interior. The walls and decor themselves definitely need an upgrade as newcomers walking into this establishment may feel a bit skeptial from the rundown vibe. This makes me wonder if the upstairs hotel is the same. Once you get past the hideous look, you will find that the food is reasonably good serving up old school classics and even pizzas of their very own! A good place to visit after a long day of work if you’re a local for a beer or a yarn and possibly some food. Wouldn’t stay in the hotel rooms tho unless you may or may not want to experience potential bed bugs, and miscellaneous creatures from the nearby river.

Food and service was great. Not alot of people when we first arrived but as we were leaving around 730 quite a few mor were entering. Our meals were amazing. I had the lamb shanks which were so nice I almost ordered another plate. I left full and very satisfied. Great dinner expereince.
