M. W.Quaint sushi and upscale lounge located on the 4th floor above “the Establishment pub”. Opens for sushi from noon to 3:00pm, and again at 4:30pm till late. Converts to a lounge and upscale nightclub every evening around 9:00pm. Closed Sundays.
C. L.One of my favourite places in Sydney. Awesome atmosphere with indoor and outdoor options. Great selection of cigars, whiskey, congac, and brandy. Would recommend for groups up to 8.

M. R.Upscale Lounge & Bar with a rooftop terrace for smoking. Great cigar selection with a variety of whisky's and cocktails. I stopped in on two separate evenings on my recent visit to Sydney and found the service to be professional and courteous. I definitely recommend this place.
S. C.This place has VIP written all over it, from the minute you're escorted upstairs to the vast but warm seating area. There's also a terrace, but it's much smaller than the inside. There's a small but select mix of cocktails and they'll make any of the old favourites to order. Service ranged from enthusiastic to indifferent and it was often quite difficult to attract staff attention (and we went when it wasn't busy.) The food isn't cheap but it is delicious. We tried some of the sushi and it was super tasty but a little on the pricey side. We went on a weekday night and it was a business crowd. Although this place is all about a luxurious experience, I just didn't feel very comfortable. However, the drinks and food were good, and the set up is impressive.
N. C.Love the atmosphere at Hemmesphere. There is comfortable armchair seating, dimmed lighting and live music to enjoy a cocktail/glass of wine. The staff are lovely and attentive.
B. M.Trendy bar/restaurant. The sushi was good but somewhat limited selection compared to what we are used to. The bar was recommended as a place for craft cocktails, but several others in Sydney were much better. Definitely a place for style more than substance.

P. G.Glad this icon is still about, though it perhaps isn't as well frequented as it once was - the cocktails, ambience and service is great. On the pricey side and maybe living a little on past glory, so perhaps it could use a freshen up. Good thing is it is so central, if you aren't impressed you can make a swift exit.
A. P.Always reliable, albeit with a slightly snooty vibe at the door and well dressed waitresses who happily offer the premium priced drinks without a deep knowledge of the beverage. Their drinks list isn’t always updated with what they actually have to offer either.
Q. P.Great selection of Whiskey, specially Japanese origins, including all the rarest one. Price will be on the high side but if you are looking for a luxury experience it is the place.
