Comments of Karaoke World

This probably not the best place in the city... Their rooms are subpar, along with the sound quality.
The biggest thing is their selection of songs - pretty sure it hasn't been updated AT ALL, though you'll be good if you like older classics.
The best thing about this place is that there'll always be room for your group, even on a desperate Friday or Saturday night (without a booking)!

It does the job. But there's nothing wow about it. The rooms are never air conditioned. The staff are not very helpful although there are some gems. But they are few and far between. The catalogue is horrible. The system will skip tracks that are for whatever reason not synchronised with the servers. This has happened a few times now.
Does it do the job for a karaoke fix? Yes. Is it a wow place with a great experience? Hell no.

Great service finding my credit card. Staff went to great lengths to look at cctv footage to prove they had given my card back to me after a great night signing Johnny Cash! Thank you

Been going here for about 10 years! Great service. Great owner. Updated songs and very clean for a karaoke place. Tiles!!! Most karaokes have carpet which is gross. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are decent and good value!!

Great for all your karaoke needs, although definitely more geared up for the Chinese market and very difficult to find the songs you need on the platform. Rooms are good, however staff aren't very friendly or attentive. Quite average really.

I would go back, but I've been to better karaoke spots. They kept shutting us down early and wouldn't let us just leave our time open ended so we had to go out and pay every hour on the hour. A pain in the neck.

The rooms are way more worn out than shown on their website, and the song system is not great. The songs available in English were very disappointing, compared to say Lantern. Ok facilities, but not sure if I'd visit again. The bouncer at the door made me feel really uncomfortable when I turned up with my work colleagues. Drinks were very pricey.

I'm not going to lie this place is not a real karaoke joint like the ones in China Town. It caters for all meaning it's only there to experience karaoke with friends. Not the cheapest place too normal karaoke is around 2hrs= $30 for five people this place 2hrs= $100+ for the same amount of people. It has one thing going for it people seem to know where it is thanks to it's convenient location. All in all try China Town. Forgot to mention yeah last time we went here the room was sticky and stinky. 😂

One of the very first karaoke venue in Sydney. There has been few ownership change. They have renovated the place and it is good place to bring mates to drink and sing aloud. Price is still same like 10 yrs ago

Nothing in Sydney compares to the Japanese karaoke experience but this place is so far the best I've found. We had the 20 person room with 4 screens and a big touch screen menu for selecting songs. Great song range, much easier to use their machines than the rubbish Hong Kong remotes you get in most places, and friendly staff. I saw a security guard on my way out but didn't feel like a criminal and get frisked like a lot of other places seem to do these days. All wins!

Had a good selection of English songs, unlike most other Karaoke places I've been to. Songs were easy to search for and the food there was pretty yummy, especially the chicken wings.

Karaoke World is an outstanding establishment. The sheer size of its rooms, the selection of music that is available, and the well-stocked bar puts it well above some of the other karaoke joints in Sydney. Ding Dong Dang is fun if you want to be seedy, but if you've got a huge crowd of work colleagues kicking on for a song...this place is your best bet.

It's okay, the rooms are cleanish, a bit pricy and also the screen and sound quality of the place could be better along with some light work, does have a good mix of songs both in English songs and also Asian but there are better places around.

After long time haven't been here. This place still my favourite karaoke .the place looks better after the renovation.Still feel good with a friendly customer service and the old staff still recognise me as well.
Will recommend it to all my friends to come to this oldest karaoke place .

Good fun time out, didn't have a wide enough song selection.

Probably could have a better bar setup, but pretty good customer service! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the facilities were clean.

Definitely one of the best karaoke establishments in Sydney, with awesome decor, away from the chaos of the Sydney CBD and a large selection of drinks at reasonable prices.
L. T.
karaoke system was really difficult to navigate and didnt have a large variety of music which was disappointing. be prepared to pay 100+ for a bottle of alcohol as well!
M. M.
Good venue, only let down by the karaoke machines. Very difficult to work out and language is limited.
L. J.
Fun place! Drinks and entry prices quite expensive. A little out the way on Elizabeth Street from the main drag and other establishments.

Well if you are desperate by the stations around and can't find anywhere else yo go this is the place for you. The service is rather rude but they do not usually cater to the English-speaking clientelle, so they can be forgiven...

Didn't have any recent songs, microphones ran out of battery and barely picked up sound

J. C.
Not the best rooms or music systems for the price but we had a good time so meh
L. Z.
Friendly staff. Good location. Equipments are a little bit out of time.
L. C.
Great place for a fun night out. Little bit expensive, but split the cost with others and you're set.
T. B.
Limited music options mainly aimed at kpop and mpop audiences
