A. C.First time staying in this motel & it couldn't have been better. Perfect location to break the Gold Coast to Sydney road trip. 1 minute off the freeway, friendly check-in, nice clean room & extremely comfortable bed & pillows. Was so happy with everything I have re-booked for return trip.

H. A.We’ve stayed in a number of motels in NSW whilst on our current family holiday and this was by far the best experience! The motel is clean and very conveniently located (en route to QLD from Canberra), but the customer service was beyond impressive! The lovely man at reception gave us tips about a playground and good restaurants. He also let our kids use the pool after hours, and gave us cutlery and crockery for our takeaway (with a little chocolate treat). Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely stay again!
D. J.Very nice 70's motel. Well maintained. Owner operated. The couple who own and operate the motel live onsite. They are very friendly and helpful. The linen and towels are of high quality and laundered onsite. Hot water flow for the showers is excellent. There is a good size outdoor pool. Electric kettle, toaster, microwave, bar fridge in each room. Tea, coffee, fresh milk, sugar provided.

B. M.This place is a find! Don’t be put off by the fact that this is not a new motel; it is a great place to stay that deserves its rating. Jurie and Tina are marvellous hosts – friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are roomy and well set up. Easy to get to from the highway and Kew is a sweet village; try the Corner Store for provisions and the Royal for a good, country beer. And they have EV chargers! We’ll be staying here again
D. S.This is a great motel if your travelling and need a place to rest the old body and soul.
I stayed here for nearly a week for work and it was awesome. It’s no five star resort but it’s Kew. It was clean, tidy, beds were comfortable and the fridge remained cold for my work lunch. There was also a Tesla power-wall for those with electric cars.
H. N.We stayed for 4 nights to assist with recent flood clean up. Jurie was a wonderful host allowing extended family to use washing facilities. The room was clean & comfortable. You made our stressful stay less stressful by being so kind. Thanks.

S. S.Sure that it's not the greatest place I've stayed in, but the room wasn't bad. I've stayed here a few times and I have no complaints. The owners have been here for years and are very friendly. With Kew being next to the highway instead of kms away from it, this is certainly a place where you can rest up before you continue on with your journey.
P. C.Not often I give 5 Star but this little motel is an absolute gem. Not only does it tick my clean bed and strong shower preference but the rooms are a good size and we'll furnished for a motel. Then add points for the treats like fresh milk on arrival, microwave and saltwater swimming pool. But the best part is the owner, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel at home the minute we arrived. We stayed three nights and I certainly highly recommend the Kew Motel for a night or extended stay. It's also a great base to explore the mid North coast of NSW.
M. D.Well located just on Lady Bird Walton drive just off the M1, this motel is well kept and clean. We often stay here and find the service impeccable. The rooms have king beds and are very well equipped. The rates are reasonable and there are service stations, shops and cafes nearby. Close to Port Macquarie and Laurieton. Very friendly owners.
L. H.A warm welcome was the starting point and we were not let down from then on. We were so impressed and surprised by the standard of the motel. We are accustomed to staying in highly rated city hotels, but I have to say I've never been more pleased with the cleanliness of a room! It was spotless! It smelled cleaned! The attention to detail was amazing. The rooms have everything you could need for a stopover and more. Full ironing board and 'steam' iron, full sized hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities with lots of supplies, quiet air conditioning, reading lamps, flat screen tv, lots of luggage and hanging space, fluffy towels, clean white sheets, extra pillows... oh and fresh milk! Maintenance and cleanliness of the property is to be commended. Timber outdoor furniture is recently stained and sealed - not old and grey. Everything is pristine. Presentation the owners can be proud of. We would have no hesitation staying again.

Y. R.Kew motel is situated on the old Pacific Highway,so is a quite place to stay in,twin share room was comfy with the usual amenities,mine host went out of his way to make our time there enjoyable and comfortable.
The hotel a short walk away serves nice meals at an affordable price.
w.Stayed there for a night. Yuri is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean, one of the best motels I've been to, in terms of cleanliness and state of things . For the age of the motel, things were in immaculate condition. The chrome on the tap wear looked new and polished, nothing is broken or missing. This is a immaculately kept motel. Importantly, it is quiet, as off the highway. Wifi is another plus. Excellent place, will stay again! 😊

Spotlessly clean room, terrific King bed, big towels, welcoming owner and a great pub with a bistro 50m away! Just 5 mins off the highway, I'd recommend this motel to any weary travellers.

S. L.Great welcome by friendly owner. Room is small as expected but clean and has everything you need. The huge bed was sooo comfortable it was worth the $95 on its own. Pub down the road was great with friendly bar staff. Servo across the road to fuel up before continuing your journey. All in all a really good stopover.

It is kept so neat and clean which is a bonus for my germaphobe self, they even clean behind the beds (I checked). It is the only place I am comfortable sleeping in the beds. The owners are really friendly and accomodating and always have time for a chat. Perfect place to stop for a rest.

Arrived to check in very late (9.30-10.00pm) on two separate occasions (travelling from South of Sydney on the way to and on the way back from the Gold Coast) and John (Jurie) was so welcoming and accommodating to the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids). I. B.By far the best 3 start motel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms were clean, bed was big and comfy, and the dude running it was nice. This was a welcome surprise on our trip home from the Gold Coast.

We arrived late Friday night and wanted to know where the local Chinese restaurant was to get something to eat and Jurie offered to go and pick it up and deliver it to our door.
When he arrived he had a tray, plates and cutlery for us and we were blown away.
The motel is quiet and cosy and we had no issues and would have no hesitation in staying there again if travelling through.
Can't recommend them enough if you need a place around the area to stay.

S. J.I had grown up in Homedale Rd Kew. It was great 40 years ago and it still the best Motel on an in Mid North Coast, the couple were the nicest people you'll ever meet.
K. B.I can't say enough about the hospitality of Kew. I took a slight tumble near my car and hurt myself. What i thought was just a bloody knee turned out to be much more. I woke up and couldn't walk at all. Jurie the owner could not do enough. insisted that he take me 30 min to the Port MacQuarie hospital, found me a wheel chair, waited patiently for me to have xrays and to have a moon boot fitted, then drove me to the chemist to pick up medication. Then allowed me to stay in my room free of charge whilst i waited for my friends to do a five hour trip from Ballina to drive my car back to their house.
I have never known any hotel or motel to be so thoughtful and helpful.
