Great venue with a roof top bar & gig room. Lots of space but gets really busy most nights. They serve up Mary's burger and thats because they owned by them. Staff blow hot and cold. A real shame they closing their doors in April.
T. M.
Good atmosphere. A bit dark and grungy so may not be everyones vibe. They sell the same burger as marys. These are pretty good but pretty small sizes for big hungry people. The chicken is super good. When i was there, our food took so long to come but the bartenders were super nice and gave us free tequila shots to make up for the long wait.
T. K.
If you like a pub/music venue for lesser known and/or alternative bands - this is a great place. Unreovated and largely unchanged in over 30 years...I remember seeing the Lime Spiders here back in the late 80's...or was it the early 90's 🤔 Good food and beer 🤘
F. M.
Located opposite to Victoria park, close to Broadway shopping centre. Rooftop bar has both amazing food and view. Great place for partying.
D. M.
Love the Landsdowne, has some incredible atmosphere especially the rooftop. Mary's burgers are very tasty and reasonably priced. Chips then dipping into the mash and gravy is a big recommendation. Price for jugs too, makes sunset even better. Heaters on the rooftop for cold nights.
L. (.
The Lansdowne is awesome! Always supporting live music and small acts. It's very grungy but in a good way I think. The roof top is really nice too!
S. B.
Possibly the best night i have had in sydney in the last few years. I have seen the venue go from strength to strength since i reopened. It nails the music, the food always makes happy and wanting to go back for more. The staff are always so happy, you really feel like you are at home
H. F.
Super busy on weekend nights but a great love set available as well and an interior smokers room with comfortable seating rather than being stuck out in the cold. Definitely a staple of the local inner city scene without having to travel to central.
R. W.
The food here is awesome! Mary's pizza/roof top are so good! Also one of my favourite music venues in Sydney. The staff are always friendly and professional.
J. D.
Love this place. Friendly staff, good selection of beer and super chilled rooftop area. Perfect for after-work drinks with colleagues on a Friday night. Potato pizza all the way.
j. p.
Brilliant band at the Lansdowne with folks dancing the night away!
G.
I love marys and the boys did a great job in bringing the same vibe across here too! I have to admit, I love the rooftop bar part, such a great addition but a bit of a pain to find and or get too! Burgers are great as always!
K. L. (.
The square pizzas are so amazing with amazing edges. They are very hot though so be careful of the oil. The spice is no kidding.
The music is very loud so go to the back room.
Smoky pizza with lardo added is so good. The potato is good on there too.
Mary’s burger on the round pizza was not my thing, there was minced meat on it then some salad on top. The salad made it a bit cold.
Students get discount on certain days!
Z.
Awesome venue with a great selection of local and international artists. The scene is great and they do a good job of matching the vibe to the type of music that’s playing each night. The bars also have great service and a wide selection of drinks. Highly recommend!
F. B.
Mary's On Top for the win! What's not to love about a rooftop bar on a sunny day with delicious food and brilliant people behind the bar & running the kitchen?! Can't wait to go back - though not sure it will ever be this empty again... (the one plus of social distancing!) It's really just a great chilled vibe - like the Newtown spot but with sun 😁 really just another awesome idea 🤘
M. H.
Upstairs bar staff were terrible put the wrong spirit in my drink, then denied doing it. The upstairs toilet is unisex and contains a malodorous urinal. Glad they've got live music on but definitely not my favourite venue.
L. N.
The Lansdowne hotel was the first pub I saw a band in when I was legal age at 18 about 30 years ago. It was the cruel sea before Tex had joined. Went and saw a lot of bands there when I was younger but haven't been there in over 15 years I guess. It has changed since then but great to see it hasn't gone upmarket. Bands are now upstairs which gives more room from downstairs where they use to be. Good viewing throughout the room and great sound. (Even were brilliant on the night). Good range of beer including tap beer and some nice spaces to hang out in.
a.
I loved the atmosphere, authentic, bar staff downstairs were friendly, meals were good, very fast service. We went upstairs to watch Gracce perform, lots of seating around dancefloor, great intimate venue. Lovely outdoor smoking section & lots of graffiti to read in the toilets 😊
J. C.
We came here on a sat night spontaneously, played Bingo and stayed cos the music was so good. They had awesome drag shows. A great crowd and people randomly started pole dancing. Which we found that they were super entertaining. The bar staff was super friendly and they do really great cocktails. My favorite cocktails on their list is their espresso martini and Blood Mary's crispy bacon and delicious cheese on top! Perfect place to go to randomly on a Saturday night with no lockout and free entry! I hight recommend this place! 😃
B. D.
Awesome small venue and really great staff. Solid beer selection and a great sounding PA. Something you don’t usually get from rooms like this. Downstairs is a nice place to hang out before or after shows as well. Really easily accessible part of town across the road from Broadway shops.
C. R.
Couldn't pay by cash and card had an unavoidable surcharge. Atmosphere is alright and a good selection of beers.
V. S.
Awesome freshly tossed pizza, a must have if ever you are in the city looking for small and cosy pub. Nice music, good selection of beer. Only problem I faced was it took a while for the pizza to get ready and served.
C. P.
I agree with all the good reviews. True to the epithet 'punters' we rocked up on spec. Spent most of our time in the smoking area, but did duck in and see the bands. Most people in the group left around midnight, but I hung around to see a bit more music. We got there about 19:30 and I got home about 01:00 after a gruelling 7 minute commute. Top night
T. V.
My review is for Mary's Pizzeria - I couldn't do a google review but I had to let people know about it so am writing it here! Came here last week for some dinner and got the wings and the pepperoni square pizza. The wings were good but the pizza really stole the show! I pretty much only get pepperoni or margarita pizzas and this one left me wanting to order another! I loved the square shape as I love pizza crust. I have to admit that I was unfamiliar with the Detroit style (lived in NYC for years so I usually go for that style) but I am hooked. I will definitely be coming back to get another pepperoni and perhaps try a round one! Would love it if there was a round option with pepperoni too.
K. M.
Great rooftop but you wouldn’t know it walking in. Worth the many steps to the top and the burgers are great.
G. C.
One of the best live music venues in Sydney. The gigs upstairs are always top notch and there’s always some great music to kick on with downstairs into the wee hours of the morning
D. J.
Not a bad venue. We did get made to move downstairs as they were having a band on upstairs and we would of had to pay to stay there. But they have a decent sized smoking area up and down.
J. A.
It used to be one of favourite place to hang out with the legendary 10 dollars cocktail jug. It felt like home with nice music and deejays at night. However the place has been renovated due to a fire and they changed it to a more trendy kinda place. It may be good for people who did not previously been there but prices are different as well as people hanging out there... I would still recommend it as the music is still good and there is a nice new playboy pinball machine.
H. M.
Good average priced food and cheap drinks. Great space upstairs for live bands and pretty chilled smoking area upstairs and comfy sofas downstairs. Staff, Management and Security were great and helpful. Location is great with access to public transport of buses and trains.
j. p.
The Oscar Jerome gig was such a sweet experience. The sound quality was awesome, not a fault. Also the bartenders were good and accommodating. Its a spacious place for a variety of weirdos and music lovers who indulge in cheeky vices. The security were a bunch of sweethearts who did not throw me out as I snuck into the restroom and got a hug from Oscar Jerome himself! Even gave me a smile as they knew a fan like me could not resist the temptation of being an obsessed fangirl for just a moment! Btw Oscar and his amazing team of musicians made the show an unforgettable one.
Thank you for that amazing event!
E. B.
Awesome vibe but YOU NEED TO STOP SERVING FLAT DRINKS?? Why do you think this is acceptable when we are paying $10+ for soda vodkas? Get it together.
S. M.
Great dive bar. We were here for a function. Air con was freezing but aside from that I love the venue. Food served included pizza crusts topped with lardo, and polenta chips. All very delicious. Hilarious posters all over the walls and cool staff (barman was wearing black lipstick and mesh top! ha!)
E. E. M.
Loved it here. The venue itself is spacious and eclectic, with a back and side room for lounging. For game lovers, it ticks all the boxes with pool, pinball, darts and Buck Hunter (aww yiss!).
Staff, front and back of house, are a friendly, laid back and attentive. Live music: always a win. The pizzas did not disappoint, simplicity perfected. Thank you, Lansdowne! See y'all soon
R. S.
The food here is pricey but good. Staff are friendly. Drinks are fairly cheap (great for a student budget). However the front of the building always smells so bad, like dead body/garbage dump bad. Judy hold your most going in and out and you'll be fine.
J. B.
A bit grubby and they serve beer in plastic cups, but then this is an indie music venue that caters for the students from the surrounding universities. They have a serviceable beer selection and the smoking area is nice even if you have to share it with the occasional cockroach.
N. W.
Friendly atmosphere. A great place to wind down after a few classes at uni with a more diverse crowd. The beer garden is a good looking place that remains good looking after a few drinks. Drinks are priced about the average throughout Sydney, not overly cheap but not a bad experience during the wee.
T. N.
Decent enough for a local pub. Great beer garden at the back, nicer (but for smokers) than the pub area. Live music (at least on weekends). Happy hour 4-6PM. Cheapish still, 7-9AUD schooners, jugs from 16AUD. Friendly enough staff. Quite noisy especially on the weekends, the beer garden is more relaxed and quieter. Weekends has DJ's downstairs, live music (extra charge) upstairs. Has kitchen, haven't tried, no night food. Some gay scene, so if you're looking, you'll find it. Toilets (gents, not sure of ladies) are fairly good.
L. X.
Great venue! Perfect size for indie bands and smaller gigs. I've been here three times and always had a blast. This photo is from the last time I was there, to see The Chats!
J. H.
Good pub, with tasty pizzas and great bands! Their beers are ordinary, but cheap and the atmosphere is great.
N. L.
It's been great ever since it reopened. Really good band room upstairs. The downstairs space is trying new things, like late night gigs, something our city desperately needs.
B. W.
Cosy spot for a gig. Saw Sly Withers, who were AMAZING. There was seating near the stage, so my tired little legs could rest. Great venue.
b.
Good live music, staff friendly, beers good though couldn't get VB on tap upstairs. Unisex toilets a bit unusual and confusing.
Tip: FREE PARKING at Broadway Sydney car park if you enter after 6pm & open 24/7. Only a 5 min walk.
A. M.
Love the new renos to the space. It's got a great vibe and the upstairs gig space is awesome, plus the beers are cheap. The upstairs toilets are pretty grim however so brace yourselves
L. L.
Great venue to see live bands of many different genres, or just have a drink with friends. Kitchen puts out some decent food as well.
M. M.
What a Beautiful Evening,
Walking up the stairs at the Lansdowne last night was like entering another time. The vibe in the air could not be described in words. As the curtains pulled back and the lights became bright there was a perfect moment that you will only find at a live music venue. The first strum of the guitar resonated across the audience and I knew it was going to be a night that I would remember forever.
As the band sang of love and loss of feelings that are so deep and vast, amongst a hundred people I didn’t know, I felt surrounded friends.
In that moment, we took a collective breath we waited for the next note. I have been to many live music gigs, I have experience many venues and without doubt the connections in the crowd of stranger friends last night could only be found at a location like the Lansdowne.
A. T. B.
Great atmosphere and awesome music. There are not many places left like Landsdowne hotel that has a great location and that plays good music. If you haven't already done so, try their pizza.
J. T.
Since it’s reopen Landsdowne is one of my go to places. It has a great smoking lounge out the back with a good vibe, it has trivia nights and also a fun lotto thing where your ticket/token is a souvenir bump spoon. The Coopers alternative Pale Ale is pretty good too!
B. S.
OMG the pizza is next level make sure you go with a group so you can try them all! Not a bad pub to see a big as well, can be quite hit and miss with the music but if it is your style chances are your in for a wild night! One thing I love about this pub is there are no Tv's so you can really have a conversation if you can put your phone down for more than 10 mins. Bouncers look scary but are usually pretty nice which is unusual in Sydney, definitely a must on the syd bucket list!
D. M.
One of my favourite pubs in Sydney, they have also just got their licence extended for late night music as well, always good bands playing.
B. R. A.
Convenient venue for having some drinks in a punk/grunge kind of place. Nice staff and locals. Only concern is a sewer problem (not sure if it's the street's or the hotel's) but from time to time everything will smell terribly, especially if you get outside.
N.
Ok place to have a few bevs. Gets quite loud even with no music playing as people just seem to be shouting over each other. Pizza was good but I was disappointed with the mixed shrooms dish. The deep fried enoki disappears in the batter so you're basically eating chunks of deep fried batter
A. D. (.
I have only been here once for a single drink on a bar crawl I was doing but i wish i had stayed longer. It has a big open dance floor great for dancing on with a large area for also sitting and having a few drinks. Music was good with a live DJ playing. Downside is the Men's toilets were bad but then again this is a Bar toilets but unless you in a classy place then you never expect toilets to be that great.
G. M.
Lovely place. There s a little stage inside for when they have gigs, smoking area at the back is big with cozy couches. They have bands and DJs upstairs sometimes. It was pretty good. Good location, easy to get to by public transport
T. E.
As a metro Detroiter, i was more than a bit excited to find out that Detroit Style pizza exists in Sydney. However, i was skeptical.
We ordered the pepperoni and the Spicy. Both looked correct to a Detroit pizza with the melted cheese crust up the sides.
The pizza dough was a bit thinner than it should be, and not quite as fluffy - however the texture was spot on. My only complaint was that the dough on both pizzas was very salty. Not sure if this was intentional or just a one-off mistake by the chef. Our whole table mentioned the salty factor so it wasn't just me.
Overall, i was impressed with the pizza, the detroit style and the vibe. I'll be back to try it again soon and will update if the saltiness was a 'one-off'. Thanks for giving me a slice of home.
J. H.
The Lansdowne has come back strong. The pub has an amazing outdoor area featuring a strippers pole as well as an upstairs area. The staff are all friendly and the pub attracts a genuinely interesting crowd.
C. H.
This place has everything you need, from dancing hippies to drunk students, a DJ who stands motionless and emotionless, it has beer, seats and a dancefloor, the smoking room is amazing, Ideal for people with extremely long legs and tiny bodies, and to top it off, yiu don't even need to light a cigarette because of the amount of first time smokers who are just letting them burn down while they chat, there is absolutely zero second hand smoke in the air, step inside, take a few deep breaths and your set for another 20 minute dance with spaghetti legs.
Top marks for the Lansdowne
J. R.
It's not bad. Rough around the edges
t. s.
I completely love this place. There are good food deals and happy hour pitchers of beer for only $11.00. The Phoenix diner is a great place, has a fireplace going, and good music during the week. If you want, there are even a few pinballs you can play. Guns and Roses, Tales of the Crypt are the latest ones you can have a go at. I recommend you come here if you are anywhere near central sydney.
D. H.
The food are decent, but not as cheap as it was before it was reopened. Pretty relaxed upstairs, they've painted the whole place in a lime colour though, which aren't really that nice, but they got a decent happy hour (any jug of beer for 10$ from 8 to 9, i think)
A. L. O. W.
Mixed emotions....
this was, then it wasn't - then it was again then, it isn't.
Never about pizza or service...There was a spot where musicians did their thing.
I was doing my thing.... when I looked up.... people were sitting on the floor from the stage to the back of the room
but that was 15 years ago
C. V. H.
One of the best intermediate sized music venues in Sydney, both to play at and watch music.
Very good selection of craft beer!
C. E.
I had a lovely time there with friends. Live music was good and chilled vibe.
M. M.
Love this place. Good rock music 👌 Mary's burgers too!
P. L.
We sat across from two longhaired gentlemen who played music, but I doubt in the same band. They looked like twins who had spent their lives trying to develop individuality but instead had only drawn more parallels to one another. Their Swedish friend liked to dance with her hands; a mime with rhythm and a carefree disposition. A couple of enthusiastic fellas played records in the booth and although I hadn't heard many of the songs before I felt an inate need to try and remember each one. My pizza arrived at 1am on the dot. It was too early for breakfast but the right way to kick off proceedings.
G. M.
Great for a lunch in a lazy day! A$9.00 for the lunch menu is really attractive. Chicken Schnitzel is well served and tastes great! Ah, there is free soft drinks as well, and discount for university students
J. D.
Strictly from an event perspective, the Lansdowne is an interesting place for holding gigs. The lounge chairs are great to sink into and enjoy the music from the live bands. There isn't a whole lot of space in front of the stage for people who like to dance, and the arrangement of chairs means you'll be trying to squeeze through small spaces to move around the area.
I went to see Mar Haze's performance and I must say, the sound is MUCH better here than a lot of places that have live music. Mass props to the sound techs for making everything audible without any hiccups or making anyone go deaf.
Can't say much about the food or drinks as I was only there for the music. Ambience wise, it's a bit dark and didn't fit the crowd or music, both which were very vibrant.
M. S.
Benny and Gabriel are the most friendly, considerate, compassionate, understanding and straightforward you can Get. Wish lil peep was played the whole night tho but that wasn’t their fault one bit. 5/5 recommend.
B. R.
Sort of fake feeling rock bar. Person running the reservations for upstairs was weirdly aggressive... Made us feel guilty for waiting for a table. Told us we could eat downstairs which we agreed to!
C. C.
The Lansdowne is back! This time with pizza. The floor is less sticky this time, but the beers are definitely flowing well. An awesome place to stop by pre/post cinema sesh at Broadway. Give the square pizzas a go.
B. R.
The PA or sound upstairs brilliant. The pole dance feature puts this pub ahead of it's time.
P. V.
Great place to hang out. Live music venue with good food and beer. With great company what more can you want in life.
m. m.
This place shut down and re-opened recently, its interior is a confusing combination of dank yet bubbly, blue trimming amongst a dark exterior, it seemed empty upon first glance.
if the food is anything like it was before, it is well worth a visit, however the atmosphere has greatly depreciated since its refurbishment.
R. “. J.
Nice pub and music venue. Food and drink prices are reasonable considering it's in the city. Kissed my girlfriend for the first time on the rooftop at a renegade party while it was closed down 😍
N. A. P. F.
Roof top bar with a beautiful breeze a bit run down and pricey still for a burger but good vibes
A. L. (. i. a. F. F.
This pub has had many a makeover. In it's current state you can find a funky bistro-esque vibe, upstairs from the pub and some dude food. Prices are good, this is of course to entice the uni crowd across the road. If you're looking for crispy chicken wings, nachos and jalepeno poppers, this is the place for you!
J. H.
The rooftop is absolutely amazing for some weeknight drinks. I’d only imagine how good it will be during summer!
K. D. S.
Depending on what you're looking for, The Lansdowne can be amazing or something you'd probably avoid. It's rammed with students on the reg, but if you can get past that factor, the lunch specials and food are next level. Cheapest pub food you'll find and the quality and quantities hugely outweigh the cost of your meal.
E. V.
Great live music venue, and place to grab a bite to eat. Love the atmosphere of the pub. Plenty of parking within walking distance.
S.
Upstairs = great.
Courtyard = fantastic
Smoking section = unique
Downstairs = garbage dump with beer
Love a dingy pub but this place really takes the cake.
E. M. W.
Cheap and delicious. Conveniently located in between USyd and UTS, so it's a perfect choice for uni students! The gumbo was full of seafood and the big cheese pizza was amazing and fragrant with the truffle oil. Definitely would go back
*.
me and my friends are eternally sad about the $10 steak and fries being removed from the menu... we haven't returned since that fateful day. Please bring it back and put a smile on our dials once more :(
A. G.
Visited it recently after the reopening.
Loved the organic red wines .Great staff, loved the open kitchen . Had the best Veg Pizza ever !!!!. Kitchen is open till late.. No complaints
L.
A great venue! And Gabriel was the best bartender! Thank you for the awesome night! Highly recommend him!
E. R.
Classic Sydney pub with late night food and good vibes!
The back section is a weird place but cool still, while upstairs is another place in itself.
J. B.
Got some good bands, though the drinks are $$$. But it's good to see them doing their bit to keep Sydney open
E. D.
The food is affordable and tasty. The staff has always been friendly with me and my mates. It is a shame that is has been closed for a while last year but I am glad they are back to business. However with the prices, after renovating, increased and I could not find the beloved $9 dollar jugs anymore.
j. d.
Always great. Their chicken burger is always dope and now they got a roof top garden. Nice
R. T.
Years I ago I served myself a beer because I was waiting for ages and ages. I got busted and was chased around the big square bar. (That's what it was back then. Big square bar) I'm sorry about that, I was young and stupid. I've matured now and won't do it again. I promise.
A. k.
lansdowne restaurant/bar has a nice atmosphere, with a mean burger. had 'babe the burger', 'italian job', the chicken schnitzel - all well sized and tasty. went with scoopons each time and still got great treatment, 7aud for a meal + drink was a sweet deal! recommended.
i. L.
went on a saturday night pretty early.. wasn't packed at all !
surprised at how large and filling the starters were.. they were delicious
my favourite would be the coca cola slow cooked chicken and the 'chihua hotdogs', also everything else was nice and came with a decent serving of avocado..
the mains were delicious
- foghorn leghorn burger (avocado, oatmeal snitzel and bacon with salad and chips) was amazing !
- ruby rack of ribs was very nice
- the pizzas were also very nice
would go again !!
O. S. P.
The refurbished Landsdowne has got a great level 1 live live music room. Good sound and a nice size stage (for an inner Sydney pub)
J. K.
Great music. Heard the band Kaz
A bit crowded...but I think it was because of all the live bands and im not 20/30. I will definitely go again
A. M.
It's a great place. I used to go before it got on fire and I thought that it wasn't going to be the same, however I came back it was refurbished and it's as good or better.
Try the burgers, they're one of the best I've tried for that price.
B. D.
One of the city's few remaining live music venues. Great venue room upstairs with good beer selection, outside area and good vibes.
M. S.
The Lansdowne is a descent restaurant. The best thing about the Lansdowne is the well priced food nice tasting food However being a restaurant one usually expects to catch up and chat with family and friends and this is the bar's biggest let down. The music is far too loud and this can creates an unpleasant atmosphere where one has too shout to communicate. All in all 3 out of 5.
E.
Lads at the door are intimidating and maybe if i swung the other way it would be attractive?
Espresso martinis and darts go down a treat, i only go here due to the FIESTY lawn gnome that works on the bar sometimes and flashes some skin, a beautiful voice like Russel coight and a tight body like Mrs clause.
I'd dream of a white Christmas with her anyday.
They run a good cervix, I'd rate it 7 deviated septums out of 8
P.S wheelchair access would be nice for the emotionally disabled
D. L.
Live bands are great, awesome to see a classic pub reborn. Shame Millennials don't know how to have fun and ruin the vibe, lol.
E. G.
Pretty cool music, nice bartenders, great sitting area outside. The music is a little bit too loud for my taste at times, but it's a pretty good bar.
P. S.
Great atmosphere if u love great music. Old school.rocker bar feel. Friendly service and awesome music venue
D. Q.
Cracking nibbles, great live music, great location. $1 pool games. You have to be happy with that! It’s a good spot for dates also
L. P.
Great pub, always got some good bands playing
Definitely recommend trying the pizza if you're there too!
R. L.
The ultra low ceiling of the stage means the sound is muddy. Great bands and a conveniently located venue - shame about the sound
B. B.
It's a dope music venue. They have a nice selection of craft beer. They serve pizza. They've got it all!
E. L.
Amazing entertainment. I noticed Taisha providing 5 star service all night- after ordering one round of drinks she remembered my otder for the next round and she was always looking out for her customers!
S. G.
Pleasant time, friendly people. Nice staff, good beer. 60 in 60 a healthy dose of mid week comedy.
Y. P.
Saw Hands Like House here. Great gig. Although the show was sold out, I was pleased that they weren't overcrowded.
K. O.
Love this place. Always a good vibe. Great live music venue and it serves ridiculously good pizza. Winner.
M. F.
Older person, love music, friendly people, felt really safe. 10 stars
T. B.
Fun, grungy venue that hosts weekly live music. Fantastic pizza and melts but i'd probably think they're too oily when i'm sober.
S. B.
All the staff are super nice, the comedy on Tuesdays is fun, and if I wasn't having a blast being a scummy dole bludger I'd love to work there
T. F.
This pub has risen from the ashes and become a really grungy and fun pub. Good live music, style and solid pizzas.
C. B.
Good range of tap beer, late night pizza, live music, a funky smoking area. Lots of lovely flesh.
S. N. I.
Fantastic space. Decent stage, good foldback & P.A. Plenty of audience space and can still hear music in beer garden.
B. L.
Great location with a cool vibe and regular rad live music and comedy events. Great taplist too!
A. J.
I went there with two other friends and we had pizzas, fries and buffalo wings... pizza was really great and crispy! I'd like to visit again!
S. M.
Great pizza but $15 for a vodka and red bull that's Smirnoff not top shelf. Water for me from now on.
A. S.
Was out of many menu items but it was the day before delivery day. Went for trivia. I could not hear the host well. No TVs for visual questions either.
A. L.
Always been a great venue to see live music... Friendly staff and cheap jugs of beer.. Perfect
A. H.
The perfect hangover cure.
Good basic pub food. Love the reno. Have a dance on the pole....it's great for your abs.
B. H.
The pizza was was enjoyed by all and great value! The service was the highlight though, Mitch took a normal night and turns it up to 11!
E. S.
Comedy Tuesdays. Fifteen bucks! The acts were amazing. There is also Reschs on tap so bonus points.
D. J.
Mary's Burgers are always amazing, and the rooftop location was no exception
t. o.
Great food, awsome style. Happy hour on fire. Get in it, burger or pizza. Both class
N. R.
Great live music venue with a good selection if beers to kick back with to the music
A. D. G.
Very much enjoyed pub trivia night here: good mix of questions, relaxed atmosphere, just a really cool place to have a night out.
k. d.
Glad to have it back after covid. Great set up, friendly staff nice food
C. K.
Reborn from the ashes to bring the best burgers from inner west with a rock band and newtown vibe bar. Complete with vegan option too.
S. L.
The Lansdowne is a place I've held deep love for all my life as you can tell by my last name.... and had some of the best times ever there
S. G.
Bustling place with good music and reasonable prices. Security and staff were friendly and the DJ was good and getting people up and dancing.
l. w.
Went there for Lucy Rose! Good food and good beer!!!! Chicken and chips were nice, will go back for good shows again!!
Q. M.
Very good service, friendly staff, good nibbles and pizza! Live band as well for all the music lovers (metal as well!! 🤘) Keep rocking Landsome!
A. G.
