9 Pokies in the VIP BAR. The 3 brothers / cousins that run the place (I imagine family owns it?) are pretty much the main reason I keep going back, never eaten or drank alcohol there opps. They are very respectful and polite gentleman. One thing to note - don’t forget about your customers in the VIP LOUNGE… gaurentee we are spending on average $500 - $1000, where as those 4 people at the bar each sit on a $9 glass of wine for 2 hours 😉

I work a few days at Alex/Foundry (the big CPA Campus) and it's our go-to lunch bar. Regular priced drinks and the burgers and Mezze plate are fantastic. I can't rate it outside lunch hours, but if you're in the area I highly recommend it. Good atmosphere. Great pub!

Lovely, clean and modern Bistro. Great, simple menu and fabulous beer selection. Food and service were outstanding, with great music as a bacterium. Then at the end we discovered it's dog friendly! Will definitely be back!

Food is good but has a strong flavour - maybe a herb mix on the steak and the schnitzel. Schnitzels are large and moist. Alcohol's quite pricey but good cross section. Pub prices seem to be a thing of the past. Parking is quite easy - or it was when we went for lunch. It's been closed for months but may be back open now.

Went during lunch time and came with a large group with a booking. Must have been unlucky on the day because the orders took at least 40mins to hit the table. Quality of the food was okay (had the chicken schnitty) and the gravy was nice. Would probably come here out of normal lunchtime hours (12-1:30) if you don't want to wait excessively.

Absolutely outstanding parmigiana and schnitzel. Renovation looks great, though the hard surfaces make it very loud when it's crowded. I'd prefer coming on a quieter night. Beer selection is good, and staff are friendly.

If you’ve been here a long time ago then you’re in for a surprise. It was closed for awhile (I was worried that it was closed indefinitely) but they’ve spruced it up and come back with a vengeance! Love it! The beer on the tap is cheap. Cocktails (I had the Lychee Mojito) are great. Don’t get me started on the food. The portions are HUGE! At least for me. It’s delicious too. Lots of space inside

This place was closed for ages. I was very happy to see that someone finally renovated the place and opened it (I think it was this year). The atmosphere in this pub is just great. I love the interior design. The bar is made out of old doors, the lights are stylish and not too bright which makes the big difference in terms of the atmosphere & coziness. I haven't tried the food yet but it is on my bucket list. The stuff they brought out looked pretty amazing to me and the menu sounded promising. What makes this pub special is the big range of craft beer that is on tap. It makes the pub visit special because you get to discover new flavours and brands. And if you like it, they have it as take-aways too. But keep the new rules in mind and get them before 10pm. The one thing I didn't like was the level of noise. It was very difficult to have a relaxed conversation with your mates due to the normal pub noise and the live music noise on top of it.

Really good place to check out. They have great prices on drinks and the food is exceptional. The quality of excellence from all of the staff was an outstanding addition to my experience. They are very nice and thoughtful; anticipating what you might need next. I ordered the wings which came with a huge side of very delicious fries, and they gave me a small bowl of water to clean my fingers in. Amazing! Highly recommend this place. They seem to connect well with their regulars, keep the place very clean, and operate without pokies (which is a huge win)

The way you know a place is good is when it's consistently pretty busy at all hours. Awesome beer range. They have (I think) about 15 beers on tap plus more in cans or bottles. Bar tenders are very knowledgeable about beer as a whole - Suggest a beer you like and they can make a recommendation for something similar, or something new and a bit different to try and you can even have a taste first to make sure you'll enjoy it. They have 5+ varieties of their own beer too! The food is great, they've had a change in menu a little while ago but it is as good if not better than the old menu. Plenty of options - Try the spicy wings! Cool alt / hip vibe, dog friendly (have water bowls). Always have alternative or interesting music playing as well as live music and trivia! Check it out.

Atmosphere here is great and it's fantastic they are dog friendly. The staff are always really friendly. The only thing letting this place down is the food. I have dined here a number of times and it's very average. Schnitzels have been tiny and burnt on a number of occasions and burgers have been overcooked. Still worth going to hang out and drink, just not dine.

Me and my partner are both from the UK have been attending this pub for the past few weeks. All I can say is, this hands down the best local boozer in Sydney. The staff were absolutely incredible. Supper friendly and always made us feel welcome. The evening has an awesome, homely, warm, relaxing, cosy feeling to the place. Great when you’ve been working long shift and you just want to wind down. Unfortunately we have to leave Australia and wanted to write this review to show our appreciation. A great range of craft beers. Hangman Pale Ale is always a good go-to option. They have some retro pinball machines and video games which are good fun. It's a pet friendly pub, so feel free to bring you dog along too! Staff are friendly and helpful; they even let me borrow one of their phone chargers and plug in behind the bar. Great and relaxed local venue.

I though Lord Raggie died during the pandemic. Maybe it did, maybe it didn't. What is true is that it went through a renno a good one at that. The big centralised, almost 360 bar, open spaces, big tables to share and meet people, make this uplift makes it a pretty inviting place to come back to. The food seemed pretty awesome, I didn't have any. The burgers looked rich and decadent, the schnitty looked amazing. Will be back for sure when I'm in this neck of the woods.

Managed by the Rock's Brewery the assortment of brews on tap & in the fridge is awesome. The Tuesday trivia is fun for the whole family as the questions aren't too hard and the scoring system is quite unique (can't reveal the twist!)... Although the pizza's are on special on Tuesday & enjoyed the schnitzel a whole lot more!

They lose a star because, since The Rocks Brewery sold this pub, it no longer pours Rocks beers (despite still having Rocks signage on the awnings) and now seem to be a Yulli’s pub... which is ok but not as tasty as Rocks. Beer selection in general has got a bit less interesting since the pub changed hands. Still decent but not great like it used to be.

Just dropped in today for a business lunch. Soon as I walked in, had a slight reservation considering it was quiet and a bit old. Anyhow, I ordered the pork souvlakia dish and mate, was I surprised on how nice it was cooked and tasted. Being Greek background myself, it tasted authentic. Complimented with Greek salad and pita bread and side of tzatziki, it was a great little meal and I'll definitely go back. Oh, the lads there provided great service too. Don't be fooled by it's ambience. Grab the souvlakia dish. You'll thank me for it !!!

Another great venue in The Rocks Brewing Co inventory. It doesn't quite have the charm of the Harts Pub or the Rocks Brewing location in Alexandria. It's a pub. It has pub food (snitty, burger, etc) and alcohol. They air main events like UFC and Boxing and are open to putting on what you like given that there is no one invested in what's on the TVs. Service is good, people are good and it's quite lively on a Friday/Saturday.

The food has gone downhill. We live in the neighbourhood and this place used to be our local. The Franks hot wings were our favourite. Now, the food doesn’t taste fresh. The burger pattie and hot wings taste like they’d been frozen. The maple-soy hotwings were pretty much straight up maple syrup poured over them and the ranch was funky. I hope they get it together.

Ok, let's start by saying that I haven't been recommended by anyone, I saw the place while driving back from Zetland and I decide to stop because I was hungry and it was very hot outside. Well gents, I have to say I really liked the place, the food and the little Rocks local brew beer I had...to bad I was driving cause the selection looks great and the let me have a taste of the few beers that fitted my request and instead of compromising with the quality (like a light beer) the propose to have a "midi" (small one). Stuff is very friendly, atmosphere is good and if you run out of cash they even have a cash machine inside. Will stop again if around Alexandria!

Craft beer HEAVEN! An offshoot of the Rocks Brewing Co, this place is a reno-ed pub that is deceptively lovely. It's got a big, open, welcoming space and some cool artwork. The beer list is extensive and the bar staff are true craft beer nerds. The food is well priced, presented, and delicious. I'm a fan of the Mexican stuff; nachos, tacos, quesedilla, etc. It's got daily specials like the other pubs in the area... but no pokies, and better patronage. They're running the Clipp bartab app now, which is mega convenient. And they're doing a heap of craft beer week events! Easily the best pub around!

Refurbished and re-opened in early 2014, the new-look Lord Raglan is short on decoration (think concrete floors, bare walls and hard chairs) but big on excellent craft beers, including guest taps, and good Tex-Mex style food. The complete lack of carpet, soft furnishings means it's freezing in winter and the acoustics are awful - 20 people chatting sounds like 50 screaming - but the beer is worth the noise and uncomfortable seating, at least for a couple before you move on somewhere a bit comfier.
