So, I had this plan to not go to a bar in Sydney for 10 or so years, to stick to my prison of a work place and avoid enjoying myself at all costs. And then one day I'd wake up on a Thursday night in a comfortable chair sitting across from my two best friends in the world sipping on a cocktail I could barely pronounce in a place I barely belonged and smile. I love a bar where you can ask for any damned thing you please and there's a good chance the bartender will know what you're talking about. (Cocktail I mean, you couldn't ask for a series of rubber ducks of ever diminishing size or anything strange like that! Obviously!) Nice to watch an Old Fashioned made the New, OH and S way with none of the fire but just as much intrigue. Staff are friendly, atmosphere comfortable but I'm an old person in a young person's place so discount my point of view as flippancy demands. Expensive but think about where you are kids... Honestly, what do you expect?

Great bar in lovely area. Part of the larger restaurant and bar downstairs awesome for private functions. Drinks are very much on the pricey side that’s what you expect for a location like this. Worth a visit if you haven’t been yet

The ambiance is nice, not too loud even while packed full. The staff quickly learn your name and remember it, even if you've been away nearly a year. A nice selection of wines, which one would expect in a wine bar, but also a very nice selection of beers not found anywhere else in the CBD. Restrooms are clean as a Finnish surgery room.

Love this bar, great spot for a quiet drink or a group gathering. Not super over priced (for the city), great drink selection and staff are friendly. Tank stream bar is one of Sydney's hidden secrets 👍

This is actually a great bar with a nice atmosphere and lovely decor. The drinks are fresh and the service is good. The problem is that it very regularly hosts private functions, so you can't really plan to come here - more than 50% of the times I've tried to visit, it's been closed. They should implement at least a regular pattern such as closed on Wednesday only.

A great little bar that is great for a quick drink after work. Perfect for that catch up before dinner. Shares a bathroom with Palmer and Co, which can be quite busy.

Was good until a security guard decided to single member of our group out and accuse her of swaying. She was sitting down at the time and to be quite honest the soberist of the group. I have to put to management - who replace 6 people with high disposable incomes tonight?

This little bar hidden away in the laneway has a very relaxed ambience, which makes it a great spot for a few after work drinks. Food comes in "light" or "more substantial" range for those feeling a bit hungry. There is also a good selection of wine and cheese for you to unwind from a busy day.
