Comments of Terminus Hotel Pyrmont
J. W.
I always like going to the Terminus Hotel Pyrmont for a Rump Steak and a Corona.
The staff are always friendly the food is always good and the beer is always ice cold.
They also do a pretty good dessert if I feel in the mood.
On one occasion I felt like a Tia Maria on the rocks and they didn’t have it in stock so they made sure they had some for the next time I came.
When you get looked after like the way they do it definitely encourages you to come back.
Thank you for the great friendly service.
C. W.
Great place. Awesome staff. Kitchen is open all afternoon which makes getting a late lunch possible in Pyrmont As kitchen closes at many others places. The specials are always great, wine list is great. Always a pleasure. Grateful for this local :)
J. W.
Good food, nice decor, high ceilings, friendly staff. A good atmosphere, with a mixed crowd. The painted walls are a nice touch, with a distictive nod to Aussie flora. The upper deck outdoor area is a great place to sit for the afternoon.
S.
Good meal cooked just right at a fair price. Seating is spaced well so you're not having a conversation with the table next to you. It's clean and the staff are experienced & know what they are doing.
B. G.
We had a function at the hotel. Great venue. The food was excellent as were the staff. Very professional and easy to deal with. Will definitely be back.
A. S. R.
It was an enjoyable night.
Menu choices were great & prices very reasonable.
I had the Fish & chips & the meal size was very generous .
T. M.
For a local you don't expect the food to be quality but at the TT the boys know how to rock a mean Sunday roast amazing quality cooked to perfection we are becoming regulars
G. D.
Visited just after Covid19 lockdown 2 - staff were all prep'd and handling everything really well, beer is always top shelf and the Scotch eggs and some of Sydney's best
M. P.
Amazing refurbished old pub that has kept a lot of its original features with a huge and no doubt expensive refresh. Staff are a little cold with service I found which is a shame as the drink menu had great options and the food coming out to the tables nearby looked great. Next time must try the food and the small outdoor area.
S.
Nice place with a beer garden and upstairs area. Sometimes there's live music which really livens up the place.
F. A.
Great outside terrace for slightly elevated pub grub. Pie was fantastic (better than Dudley’s), Parmesan wheel pasta special on a Wednesday got a thumbs up. Burger and fish fingers less so. The pub itself looks marvellous and the staff were friendly.
G. F.
Nice pub, haven't been here in over 20 years.a reasonable beer selection, I had the 2 Prancing Pony's. Staff were nice & polite. Customers around me deemed to enjoy themselves. Food looked good when being delivered to the tables.
I like the place.
G.
Beer offering nothing to rave about: standard Aussie lagers and some IPAs that, to me, looked just like the lagers. Food, however, is fantastic. Very busy kitchen. Great courtyard.
Edit: visited one week later. The patio had at least twenty young kids below the age of nine yrs. Noisy, noisy, noisy. Guess there is no MacDonald's nearby. Even so, a pub is not a suitable venue for very young children after 19:00 - indeed, at any time.
Quality of food is excellent, however no English mustard (only Dijion), no salt or pepper shakers. Lunch bookings only taken for 9 covers or more.
Complimentary WiFi, ask for password.

Great food! Location is a but hidden and far from public transport
A. H.
Good pub food, decent steaks, lovely warm welcome.
G. D.
True 5 star pub! We were staying nearby for a Hamilton show weekend and had dinner last night with friends. It was so good we came back for a great lite lunch today.
H. D.
Great local hotel., Decent price on beers and the staff are friendly :)

So this this the first time in history where my parents recommended something to me, seeming to be in the know first. Word on the street was that this was a great pub with excellent food, what would be described as a gastro pub.
The pub is certainly historic, one of Sydney’s oldest pubs, having been licensed and in operation in Pyrmont since 1841.
As we walk around the pub, we appreciate all the history documented through photographs and captions highlighting the checkered past throughout of the area. For some time (1984-2018) it was closed and in disuse and it has since been revived into this beautiful boutique pub.
The pub has a few separate areas to socialise and dine, such as the ground level around the bar, small rooms and a semi outdoor area, entered via the upstairs space. We love that the courtyard is also dog friendly.
Plenty of cocktails, beers on tap, wine and bubbles.
The food menu has been designed by Colin Fassnidge with plenty of upscale pub classics such as burgers, steak and chips, salads and and a number of daily specials. Their entree list is also much better than most pubs with kingfish sashimi, a suckling pig sausage roll and mushroom croquettes.
For our mains, we had the special market fish - a beautiful cooked trout with a tomato and chickpea sauce. Another special we opted for was the steak and fries, served with a chimichurri, lettuce and a beer!
In addition, their chicken schnitzel was a generous size, served with slaw, lemon and fries, and the fries here are darn good.
We couldn’t go past a dessert, my favourite of all time, donuts! At the Terminus Hotel, the large cinnamon donuts are warm and served with chocolate sauce. These are a must order.
We look forward to returning to trying more of the menu, as well as doing some trivia, which is held a few nights during the week.
C. S.
It was a get together with old school friends. We booked a private room and had the best time! The food was very good ( I had a perfectly cooked steak). The service was excellent. A memorable and happy night.
R.
Busy place post lockdown. Food is great and the service attentive, good atmosphere too.
P. C.
Super friendly and courteous staff! Had a nice, slightly fancier lunch than some of the surrounding pubs in the area. Enjoyed my steak! Keep in mind that there might be a bit of a wait with meals when they're super busy, but it was worth the wait. Overall, a nice experience. We booked ahead too which was a good thing for a group because there were a lot of groups around for lunch.
Q. L.
Thanks for hosting my baby shower. Service and food platters were pretty good. My only disappointment was that my guests who were vegetarian and gluten free were not well catered for. The hot food platter did not have vegetarian options and my 2 guests were provided a small potato wedges. Lovely room decor in the blue room but would be mindful it may be be too hot on a warmer day.
D. T.
Best Angus Steak I’ve had in years.
Ben makes this place!
Second visit and the food was excellent again.
Two of the most memorable meals I have had in the last 10 years.
C. B.
An absolute foodie experience and the Chef and Cooks were on point! Will be back for the food any day and would highly recommend to anyone and come back however the bar staff where absolutely not on point and truly made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome - made it clear that they were in a hurry to close at 8:30pm
Finished our meal at 9:30pm and basically made us leave because we felt uncomfortable with the closing noise
Good food - unfriendly staff
R. N.
Love what they've done with this place after being closed for decades. They've tastefully mixed the old with the new.
Plenty of different indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from.
The food has changed a lot since the first reopening and I'm happy to say they've finally achieved a nice balance between a restaurant and a pub.
M. P.
Definitely a place I would recommend for every occasion. The food was delicious, great selection of drinks and all at reasonable prices! I loved the look of the place- great spot for group gatherings or even to grab a bite with a mate. Ticks all the boxes for me! Would return again! Thank you!
E. K.
This place has the classic pub look and feel but is actually a lot cleaner and let than average.
I've been here a few times. The beer selection is decent and the mocktails are nice. I've eaten the ploughman's lunch and it was great as a light meal for two people. Everything was fresh and good quality.
The prices are a little higher than average but it is in Pyrmont and the quality of the service, food and ambience is worth it.
X. L. B.
Nice little pub in Pyrmont.
The food was actually super good and tonight I had a special and couldn't believe it was only $15 for a main. bargain!
G. P.
Visited on a Wednesday for the $19 cheese wheel pasta and were not disappointed!! Soo tasty, not too heavy and the perfect amount of truffle! Combined with good wine and delicious beer (highly recommend the sex on the beach sour) - we'll be returning!
M. C.
Friendly service, decent food with not too much of a wait.
Bit pricey, especially the sides, for example a side of slaw is $10 (not sure what size it is) but I feel this is a little steep for a side of slaw when you can get decent slaw sides at restaurants for almost half the price.
Doughnuts smelt amazing so we decided to get some for dessert.
One serve comes with 2 thick doughnuts to share but they were quite dry and a bit of a let down for the price, it comes with a side of melted chocolate but with two thick dry doughnuts the chocolate just wasn't enough for both.
Decent choice of beers on tap.
Nice atmosphere outside and inside, they really did an amazing job renovating this place!
Overall it's good but room to grow!
S. T.
Great place for friends to gather and enjoy bar food and drinks. Roast sweet potato was amazing with Smokey sauce. Chicken schnitzel was generously served with a nice slaw on top. Fish and chips tasted great but expected the fish to be bigger. Atmosphere is great. Feels safe and clean.
M. C.
Beautifully renovated pub. Pricey at about $32 for a beer and a burger. An instantly hip spot since they opened - book well in advance.
They have done an amazing job restoring the old pub building while retaining so much of the original pub from tiles to timber. The courtyard beer garden is great, although the whole place is surprisingly small.
P. S.
Smart fit out, keeping some of the original features though could have been more kept if you see the old photos. Food is good quality but a tad overpriced.
Lose points for the debit card surcharge. At these prices that minor overhead is well and truly absorbed. If coffee places doing hundreds of card transactions a day can avoid the surcharge, am sure it is manageable.
A.
Good food, good drinks and amazing service.
Highly recommend asking the bartender to make a surprise drink for a hangover.
10/10 would walk in with a hangover on a Saturday afternoon with mates again.
C.
Great steak, friendly staff and good drink. One of the few places I have found English mustard that is not watered down. A good feed but I little on the more pricey side.
W. T.
One of the finest places to visit in Sydney.
Great atmosphere and attention to detail. The staff are very friendly and the food is beautiful!A lovely old pub with alot of history and we can't wait to go back!
F. W.
Love this place. Never disappoints. Great food and wine, friendly service and not overpriced. Beautiful renovation on an old pub.
S. M.
Great food and service. You need to order at the bar like any typical pub in Australia and the food is brought to your table. Card surcharge of 1.5% is ridiculous, hence the 3 stars. The Pyrmont Point Hotel, a Pyrmont establishment across the street allows card payments for no charge which is how it should be. Hope the owners change their card policy shortly. This place opened last week to lots of local excitement - the building used to be a pub and was shut down for 32 years. The multi million $ renovation looks nice, sound isolation is pretty bad though. We sat as a big group in front of the bar area on the ground floor, and it was very loud at lunch time. Burgers are delicious, and so was the rest of the food the group ordered. 5 stars for food and service.
M. T.
Really like this place. Some great beers on tap, staff are really friendly & attentive. Great outdoor area with plenty of space. Decor is great and the menu is extensive, lots of great food options. All in all a great pub option!
S. H.
Great food and lovely courtyard. Had a large group outside under the umbrellas. The flank steak was terrific, plus lots of other options to cover all dietary needs.
S. L.
First time visit with my son. We have been to most Pyrmont pubs, but on the corner near where he stays we have always walked past. It is a pub in the old style but service was friendly. The lunch bistro menu was as one would expect, but the specials board was a treat. We both chose the special chorizo risotto and were well-rewarded.
C. z.
Recently renovated to perfection retaining much of it's original features. Go upstairs for an alfresco balcony experience. Food was amazing, menu designed by celebrity chef. Bar staff were quite inattentive. Would hate to see what they're like on a busy day.
M. Y.
One of our favourite Friday lunch venues. Delicious pasta and great service. Always good to see a great cider on tap, a good selection of wines too.
H. H.
The rooms look really nice! And the shared bathroom is wonderful, everything is really convenient. There is also a small bar with thee, coffee, hairdryers and other stuff. The only problem we had is that the rooms are pretty dusty underneath the bed (not good if you are allergic ). Overall a good hotel, with a really nice price for Sydney standards!
V. K.
As a local to this place, it has a great gastro-pub feeling. Somewhat a bit more upmarket, this can attract big crowds of "suits" after work. Since its opening its a great weekend drinking spot or something different to try, however I have found the quality of the food to be inconsistent and somewhat pretentious at times.
C. L.
Loved the meat pie! Great to see this place rise from the ashes after so many years. They've done a great job with the restoration and the pictures on the walls tell the story of just what a huge job it was. Check it out, it's comfy and welcoming.
J. E.
Great lunch spot in Pyrmont close to WeWork or grab a drinks with some friends after work!
Recently renovated historic pub in the heart of Pyrmont that is quickly becoming a local favourite.
Great steaks, schnitzels and other quality pub food.
Lots of different beers on tap and a great selection of spirits, wines and cocktails.
Fun times to be had at the Terminus, I am a repeat customer and will continue to be so.
C. a. B.
I have been thinking for a while what a shame it was that the Terminus didn't have a Sunday Roast. So it was quite the delight when I visited on a cold night last Sunday with family and friends to learn that the kitchen was offering roast pork with winter veg and Yorkshire puddings. Even better, the kitchen nailed this classic. We also ordered the pie (succulent lamb shoulder encased in flakey pastry on top of creamy mash potatoes, peas and gravy). Add to this local crafty beers, Guinness and kid friendly staff and you've got a great way to end the weekend.
So glad to see the kitchen has sorted out the menu and execution so it is now of a standard befitting the amazing restorations.
F. C.
First time here and we will be back. The old pub has been tastefully restored, with a winning menu to match.
We sat in the sun filled beer garden with a few of the share plates, glasses of chilled wine, and had an excellent afternoon.
T. C.
Had my 21st here, the staff were so accommodating, drinks were great and the food was amazing. Best cheese platter I’ve ever seen. Would definitely recommend this place for a function. Thank you!
M. S.
The Chefs at this pub keep stacking the food on top of each other. This is TAFE stuff. The food is outstanding but please stop stacking. Maybe you should buy some bigger plates or serve some of the other items in a side dish. People dont want there chips and coleslaw stacked on the top. If you fix this you will see the return business. And the wait at bar. Too long. Either your staff are hopeless or your systems are broken. Everything is there to be great. The little things are failing you.
J. K.
Tried the burger here (as thats often my litmus test when I try new places) . It was good. Not amazing. Lacked something in the flavour stakes.. But overall I hope that this place evolves with their menu as much as they've evolved with the great decor and friendly, attentive staff. As a local, I'll be back as it's a welcome addition to Pyrmont but hopefully they can keep up with (or exceed) the existing high standard of their nearby competition. All the best!
J. H.
Amazing what a fresh coat of paint will do. Love the vibe of this joint, friendly responsive service. Could do with a more varied beer selection (tiring a little of Endeavour and Little Creatures); but they have great cocktails which make up for it. Loads of open space and on a good day, plenty of sunshine to go around. Food is solid pub fare by 'fassnidge', so it's a little bit fancy, too. Interestingly their duck fat potatoes are marked (v) for vegetarian. Read into that what you will.
J. C.
They've done an amazing job getting this place up and running again. Great mix of old and modern, it has a really good vibe, will be back again
A. D.
The Terminus hotel and restaurant is a beautifully renovated pub. The restaurant offers just that but with a modern twist. The wine list is small but good quality. The rooms are very well decorated and have an awesome bed! Spacious and not too soft! Great! Bathrooms are shared but very modern and clean so don't aspect the awful backpackers treatment here! Great find, affordable and in one of Sydney's best neighborhoods. Go and book!
S. A.
Good atmosphere. Nice cocktails upstairs. Enjoyed a bunch of starters. Great vibe downstairs. Definitely coming back here to have dinner. Smells so good.
J. R.
Great pub. It has been refurbished beautifully. Do have a look upstairs too. Good food, great service. Would definitely go again.
S. -. T. I. T.
Very friendly staff.
Spacious.
Great location. Just at the bus stop.
Good value for money.
Sunday free music.
Dogs are allowed in courtyard.
A. S.
4.5 stars, staff are excellent, great ambiance, ok beers, could use 2-3 more beers of the darker character
L. 1.
Beautifully restored pub with lots of seating areas and options indoor and out. Food is good though pies are reheated and are not as hot as they should be, often a cold bit in the middle which is not great.
w. p.
Great food, great drinks and great service. It was great to come here to relax after a stressful week planning my son Bradleys third birthday party. We are thinking of making it Peppa pig themed. We might host it at Harlequins Inn, have been there before, they were really good with outburst from his condition
P. F.
Loved the decor and vibrancy in front bar.
However, food was too expensive for what was delivered. The seafood pasta was full of shells and no sea- food! The music was too loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. Ill give it one more try.
N. P.
Terminus is perfect whether you are going for a quick beer with a friend or a meal with a group of people. It's a fairly quiet location so it is ideal if you prefer avoiding crowded and noisy areas. The pub inside is pretty and spacious with very attentive staff. Check out the upstairs for some fancy seating.
S. S.
Great pub grub and generous serves. The staff are really nice and service was great. Colin Fassnidge never dissapoints and his chicken schnitzel is one of the best!
k. g.
Such a lovely old building. Wonderful that its been brought back to glory. Menu is great and worth a cheeky bev for sure
d. b.
On a busy night staff were eceptional may hsve missed the mark ordering fish and chips, rest of the meals were good with side dishes of carrots and broccoli outstanding. Will return but not for the fish.
T. V.
As I’m a huge Colin fan I was so excited to come here on our last night in Australia.. but were left disappointed. The smalls were fantastic but the mains were a let down, perhaps our own fault for going with burgers instead of the specials? The fish burger had a small piece of fish that got lost underneath an unmelted cold piece of cheese, some lettuce and a bun that was much bigger than the fish. Chips were delicious. Staff were friendly but kept coming around every few minutes to see if they could clear our plates, they even asked my partner if he was done while he was biting on a chip and still had half a plate left :/ Also surprised to see they don’t serve coffee/tea.
K. M. (. K.
Great pub food. Went with a party of 7. Food was good and came out quick. Menu was very nice. It was a good find! Would and will go back.
U. C.
Lovely place, staff are lovely, but the burgers are a bit on the small size. Very disappointed for a boy with a big appetite.
N. G.
Came by for a tasty pint of Terminus's own drop, which was tasty as. Got the Mezze platter and Charcuterie and they were both great. The new owners have done a great job of the renovation and the place had a great vibe. Will be back often!
S. H.
Restored well in most areas, a few dodgy finishes - was almost a time capsule pre renovation. Very noisy, they need an acoustic specialist in - even worse in the courtyard ( perhaps it is those enormous glass canopies? )
Unfortunately the kitchen closes at 3pm ( on Saturday ) so we made do with chips. Friendly staff, tad expensive food and drinks.
D. K.
Terminus has been reborn. It was Ivy covered and completely derelict for decades. Now it's a chic yuppie bar. Not exactly a restoration, but reasonably sensitive to the original architecture while adding a great deal of modern amenity.
D. D.
It's has a Great atmosphere beautifully restored.. Great service and the Steak was amazing 5 🌟 steaks. There sides were only 3 🌟.. Check out its History on line then check it out now.. Amazing.. A must
M. G.
Nice pub. Great to see it was not turned into units. Still new and has some service issues that need sorting.
Food was very nice and did great keeping a lot of the old style charm.
M. P.
This is a great little pub. Unpretentious, but with good beer and food. A very nice beer garden out the back for when the weather is salubrious. Overpriced, of course, because Sydney.
C. A.
Great eats, Pale Ale on tap. Good outdoor sunshine seating or inside. Kids menu with rump steak or Fish n Chips inc icecream
L. B.
Head down on a Sunday arvo for a roast and some live music
C. T.
Nice two storey establishment. Accomodated a large party on their balcony at late notice. Good dinner food, slightly better than avg pub quality.
K. S.
They’ve done a great job on this old pub, really not bad at all, craft beerwise a little limited when comparing to others near by, but the Newtowner on tap was really in excellent condition, Endeavour contract brewing the "Terminus Larger", Wayward and Grifter locals and Tooheys/Squires remain dominant but then it was a KB hotel and so that’s fitting. Food also good and the sips of wine I tried also really good.
Cocktails upstairs (Veras) all good
Fast free Wi-Fi (20Mbps)
Defo coming back
T. U.
Lovely pub with chic crowd. Great food and ambience especially in the courtyard. We booked a couple of tables for a birthday bash. Everyone loved the place.
M. H.
Love what they have done with the renovation, especially the sandstone courtyard.
The foods we tried were all delicious. Maybe at the pricier end for pub foods but the quality and flavours justifies it.
D. B.
Lovely pub with good pub food and a pleasing array of craft beers. Lots of space upstairs. Try it !
K. B.
Love the pie.. my partner can’t go past the chicken schnitzel! Not too crowded, different spots to sit depending what mood we’re in and what the weather is like.
D. M.
Great new menu.
A. W.
Great pub with a good range of beer on tap and great service. Food is a touch expensive for the quality but not too bad in the grand scheme of things
C. D.
Nice modern and vintage decor (part of the original is preserved). OK selection of beer. Overall a nice pub around pyrmont and conveniently close to light rail.
S. G.
I wish I could give two and a half star. Been there twice already. First time for lunch, as everyone reported it, very average taste. I'll put that on the back of the amount of food the kitchen seem to have to get out...probably needs a bigger kitchen or a smaller amount of table?
2nd time was after work, for drinks. We sat upstairs in the outdoor area. I wonder if the management team has sat there. Get an interior designer in there please or just buy a whole bunch of pillows and make the benches actually sittable. Also, the old pictures display vignes on the walls...why didn't you leave one outside? Bring back a bit of nature to it.
That area would look fantastic with a bit of tlc!
All the best guys, I'll be back one more time.
N. R.
Love the vibes and drinks there. Also, best pub food in Pyrmont, a bit pricy but I would say it is worth the price.
A. E.
Awesome vibe in here. Great service and the food is of a high standard. Nice for a lunch with friends / work colleagues or after work drinks. Highly recommended
J. C.
Good venue. Nice food, and outside deck up top. Would be higher rating if they answered their phone (or even had a proper answerphone message).
M. P.
Good pub, nicely refurbished. Fish and chips very good.
T. M.
The Terminus Hotel is one of my favourite hotels in Sydney. Friendly staff and really nice beer garden in the back. Stylish furniture. Cool atmosphere.
S.
Nice refurbished pub. Great outdoor beer garden. Food was good. Pub is a bit pricey compared to others in the area.
m. s.
Hip, fun and noisy . Makes for intimiciy. Interesting wine list, nice pub food. Really good atmosphere all over.
B. K.
Lucy was fantastic and really made our day! Service was great and she was always on the ball making sure we were catered for. Food and atmosphere is great!
C. Y.
The new owners have done such a great job! Great layout and perfect selection of food and drinks. Will be back without a doubt!!
A. K.
I was excited for the opening of Terminus, since I live and work locally. The team have done a great job refining the experience since their start. The food is delicious and the service is good.
J. C.
Great food, very good outside seating area and the best friendly service. Loved the suckling pig sausage roll - delicious.
A. G.
Upstairs is lovely, airy, bright and spacious! Friendly service tasty cocktails and food. And the photos of the building pre referb are a great touch!
C. S.
Went with the Mrs and friends on Saturday. Ordered fish n chips and steaks which were deliciously cooked, great environment, lovely staff and atmosphere...fast becoming my local.
N. O.
Great food, good service, wine good and lovely atmosphere

🍹Sunday feast🥃
💥 @terminus_pyrmont 💥
.
The guys at Terminus put on a nice spread last weekend to promote their new menu created by @cfassnidge and cooked by @chefgannon. Everything was cooked perfectly. Which include the Ploughmans board, poached Salmon on Toast and Baked Cauliflower for starters. Also included some nice mains which were cooked to perfection nice and tender. Desserts where delicous, but my favourite was the brownie.

This Hotel was saved from demolition a few years ago. Now it has great atmosphere and serves very good food.
T. L.
Very nice food and beautifully decorated. The history of this place has been truly celebrated :)
A.
Fantastic menu, really gourmet food for a decent price. Beef cheek is fabulous. Highly recommended
D. C.
Friendly staff and a lovely selection of wines. Love that they have kept the old world charm! One week in...onwards and upwards. Congratulations!😃❤
B. L.
Lovely and cossy excellent for after work beers or enjoy the iconic colonial build beer eating area at the back. Simply enjoying place.
S. T.
Lunch menu a bit sparse but they are new. Good beer selection, really nice and sunny place.
H. F.
Selection of cold pale ales on tap. Refurbished and a nice new addition to pyrmont. Definitely needed as there aren't too many decent establishments around the area
m.
Great food and atmosphere, generous beer selection too and service was superb. Perfect for a sunny day!
K. F.
I'm waiting for this pub to develop.
They seem to be still finding their way with the service and the food.
I'm sure they will develop into a 5 star pub. Hopefully.
R. R.
Really decent pub, good beer selection and the burgers were good. One of my locals
G. R.
Great atmosphere and good food in this recently refurbished and reopened hotel. Blend of old and new. Still quite new but potential is there.
R. S.
Great design, beverages and food are good but safe, no wow factor from kitchen
N. K.
Loved the old features but the lack of air con let the place down. Maybe they couldn't add it to the original pub I don't know but it was too hot in there.
B. W.
The best pub meal I've had in Sydney. Steak with flavour a really pepper sauce and a tasty salad
J. K.
Great fitout of heritage pub and some fun private dining areas - friendly and helpful staff - but unfortunately..dining is only average pub food - chicken pie was dry and not particularly flavoursome and pork hock presented exceptionally well....but proved to be over cooked and dry...there are so many good bistro pubs around Sydney now it's just a shame the quality of the food doesn't match the quality of the decor....
N. E.
Great pub, top quality reasonably priced food and great staff. You couldn't want for more in a city gastro pub.
H. D.
Great place and atmosphere and the food was good. Very nice and friendly staff 👍
d. w.
The new fit out is great and will have a huge potential. The staff are trying hard but need to get their processes down better. Lights are flickering all night for some reason.
B. C.
I adore the renovation. The food is great and the vibe in many areas unique and warm.
(Try the chicken schnitzel)

Sunday Roast was great. Pork Belly with Yorkshire pudding and veg.

A nice place for small size group of people get-together. Their steaks are nicely seasoned but chewy and a bit rubbery

Pretty good take on "fancy pub grub" but not quite five stars. Looking really nice after the re-fit, now one of Pyrmont's nicest pubs.
