The meal was delicious. I had the Pan fried eggs which came in a cast iron pan to keep it warm as I ate. The staff were very friendly and accommodating in making sure we had ample umbrella cover on a hot day and were ever present to ensure water jugs stayed full. The atmosphere was very pleasant even when quite busy. Would come back again

Great place to have some food and drinks with family or friends. The outside tables are not cleaned very well, most times we get to clean the greasy tables ourselves. Prices are reasonable and the food is good but not great. Members price are a bit cheaper if you sign up for a small cost. Plenty of parking available. Water jars and glasses are not very clean either. Overall the cleanness needs attention.

I came all the way from Colorado USA to try the chicken parm here. First place I went to after my plane landed. I’ve heard this is the best fast casual restaurant in Sydney. The chicken parm did not disappoint, kudos to those hardworking chefs. Can’t wait to come back again.

Awesome place! Great outdoor area. Also has a indoor kids playground. The best part I think is the bistro which has a wonderful menu. The one option on the menu that shocked me was you can order a whole baby pig on a spit with all the trimmings for just under $700. Though you need call and arrange for the pig a couple of days in advance. Great idea for a special occasion. Enjoy!

Good variety of choices, lovely outdoor seating and pleasant indoor seating, tasty food. My only criticism is that the food could have more depth of flavours. They tend to mix all the flavours together, rather than presenting separately on the plate. This means that a few bites in things start to lose their novelty and it gets harder to eat. Simply separating the elements on the plate would allow you to play with different flavour mixes to keep it interesting. This is based in particular with my experience with the two salmon dishes. Nonetheless, I would still get the salmon poke bowl again.

A group of 8 of us gather each year, sometimes twice, for a lunch, whenever my wife and I visit Sydney, to meet with her cousins and some friends. We were able to book a table, which was great as the indoor dining became quite crowded even on a Wednesday. It appears very popular with a wide range from tradies, business people and a lot of retirees. Sports Bar service was prompt then with the dining room bar opening at 12. Food choices were very good and value for money. If you are a member food is discounted and I received a $25 discount with my membership birthday voucher. Fish was a popular choice at our table. One of the ladies had a chicken parmy which was the size of a bread and butter plate. Everyone complimented their choice, my fisherman's basket was excellent. Thanks to the management and staff we really enjoyed everything.

Nice food and ambience but every time regardless of if I'm with family outside or near the food ordering line I've been rudely harrassed and chased down by people to show my ID. This happened when I was 23 just walking back to the table with a table number and my mum and then again when I was 25 at the same venue. The security team need to be taught some manners as this has caused big family events to be booked elsewhere.

Usual pub fair. Have not found the Steaks great quality but the chicken and fish dishes are quite good. The food on the Mexican menu is excellent. We’ve been a number of time but have been put off by the somewhat overbearing security staff compared to Belrose and Parkhouse (Mona Vale).

Just moved into the area and with all the unpacking and cleaning have been to have dinner here a few times. Rate the steak, full of flavour and well cooked, even the old school salad is fun. Loved the Huxley burger. Cheese is gooey and the beet patty has a good amount of fat to make it juicy. Parmigiana was good, partner orders it everywhere he goes and can be picky, but rated it well. Pasta was a bit boring, but as expected. Thanks for being accommodating to newbies!

Always a great place to eat, even during Covid. Definitely Covid safe. Easy parking but very very busy. Best to book. Great spot for all ages and abilities. Huge meals so if you don't eat like a trucker you might want to share. Vegetarian options. Vegans might need to check the cooking arrangements but there are options. There are seperate areas for sports enthusiasts meaning others can eat lunch in peace. Indoor play area for children. Lovely outdoor eating space.

Can get quite busy on weekends and holidays but there is ample room for everyone. They run special events like face painting, petting zoo and pizza classes during the school holidays. Its a big local bar, plenty of room for eating and the queue for food was long. It was that long that I just didn't bother, had a quick beer then drove somewhere else. I think the best bit is the huge outdoor covered area, this would be great for larger groups or even just a great catch up with mates.

Surprisingly good food. Nice place. Expect a long wait in line to order at dinner time. A bit annoying to see outdoor heaters turned on on a mildly cool day. In 2019 knowing what we know about climate change it's a tough sell to have to take my coat off to be comfortable outside in winter because we're heading the outdoors. Been there a couple of times over the last few weeks. Food is good besides the steak sandwich which the steak was was very chewy, you take a bite and the whole piece of steak comes out. Had the taco Bowl , which was taste and fresh. Staff are friendly and quick to clean up plates and glasses. Was told the shuttle bus was 5 minutes away but when we got outside to wait for it was told it was actually another 20-30 minutes away.

I love the food! It’s decently priced and the servings are pretty generous. It’s always pretty busy when I go which proves it’s a popular place. $5 for a membership that never expires, gives you the members pricing on food and drink, and you get $25 to use at the bistro in your Birthday month, doesn’t get any better than that. It was my first time here with friends. We went for lunch. Bistro opened at 12 noon on Sundays. I had a beautiful Salmon with Teriyaki sauce. When ordering I was impressed by being asked how I would like my Salmon cooked. The food came out on heated plates, a big plus. When paying my meal it was pointed out to keep the receipt as it was a two for one offer when back next time. I will certainly be going back again. Out in the patio you could order a pizza plus pasta dishes.

Top local hotel. This is a large hotel with excellent facilities. Top food very extensive menu with quick service. It’s ideal for families as well as functions. Food is beautifully cooked and presented. Prices are reasonable and cheaper if you join a free membership. The hotel is very well managed and you can expect a lovely visit and substantial meal.

Great location, ample parking, huge seating areas would easily cater to 100+ people. Ideal for parties etc but I must add they also have a lovely fireplace with lounges for the more intimate fell too. Most prices range from around $12-23 for mains. Food was good, servings were large. Staff are very siren to earth and friendly. The venue is very clean and the layout is streamlined, modern and clean. Highly recommend, especially for those looking to book a birthday, engagement etc party.

Yeah, only just OK. Terrey Hills Tavern only just scrapes in as OK. I was there on Saturday 29th June 2019. Mainly for my friend's Birthday celebration. We both ordered the Flathead Fillets. I had mine with chips and salad. My 4 tiny battered fish pieces (Flathead? Who knows?) were overcooked, dry and not very tasty at all. The chips were also overcooked. The salad was probably presented better than I expected. Interestingly placed in about 4 Cos lettuce leaves, there were some cubed tomato chunks, cubed cucumber chunks and a few wispy pieces of Spanish onion. I finally found some dressing at the bottom, although a bit too late. So the salad was quite nice. But as a whole meal, poor value for $20. I may try again and go back for another lunch in the next couple of months. Even a month ago, the time before, my friend Sue threw up after eating the soft tacos, fish flavour. Plus they only served 2 instead of 3 each. It was a total stuff up, maybe because they got cold while we sorted it out and that's what caused her to get sick after she ate her tacos? Who knows? But both kitchens and staff need to improve. Please replace that decaying yukky "cobweb" style panel where people queue to wait to order. It is disgusting and ugly to leave it that way. It brings down the image and standard of the hotel. And where were the cakes and desserts yesterday? There was nothing in the display case to choose from?

Good atmosphere and a nice place. We got the chicken parmigiana and a chicken schnitzel. They were both quite large meals and with crispy crumbs on the chicken. The serving of mushroom gravy with the schnitzel was quite small though. The napoli sauce on the parmigiana was really good and I would recommend it.

The good - food was outstanding, large portions, didn't have to wait too long, good children's play area that is visible from the dining area. The bad - after lining up for half an hour, my first choice of main was unavailable and there was no signage posted to let me know. Bar service was terrible. I am 180cm tall and 120kg but I seemed to be invisible as person after person was served before me. The staff member that eventually served me had zero personality. There is a games room with no bar or gambling machines that under 18's are not allowed to use. Would be nice if the older kids had something to do while we were there.

Terrey Hills Tavern is a great place for group get togethers and functions with their outdoor dining spaces. Their food is ok, I’ve had some good meals and some that were lacking. You can’t go wrong with their steak though! In winter they have an open fire outside which is great.

We've been to Terrey Hills Tavern many times since they rebuilt and added the alfresco area some years ago. I had my 60th Birthday there in 2008. I had lunch with 4 friends there three weeks ago. We sat in an alcove, a sunny afternoon Saturday 26 May, it became quite hot in the afternoon with the Western sun shining through the glass panel. We went there again tonight, Thursday 14 June, even though its a cold winter night, again we sat outside alfresco in a large group, several tables, family, kids, friends. Warm enough under the heating, but you do get cold around your legs and feet. Food is general Pub Bistro, plus the Mexican Cantina out back in the alfresco area. Some of us ordered meals from the Mexican Cantina, others had chicken schnitzel and others ordered steaks etc. Generous size adult meals. Special Kids meals, free ice cream. A local popular family type hotel, everyone in my group enjoyed themselves. The Tavern has free WiFi and it was connected, but I had no internet? So I don't know why? Others with my group connected OK. As soon as I drove out to the road, my internet started working again?

I really enjoyed spending my birthday with my friends at Terrey Hills Tavern on Saturday 9th December 2017. Great atmosphere, great staff and excellent food! I had the bean nachos from the Bistro which was delicious! The only unfortunately thing that happened to me which in no way was it the fault of Terrey Hills Tavern, was someone keying my car quite badly, leaving me quite upset especially when I was happily celebrating my 27th birthday. I would have preferred that person coming up to me and telling me if I had done wrong by them (which I am still baffled as to what I had done wrong to get this type of treatment) instead of passive-aggressively keying my car. If it was a random being stupidly drunk, please drink responsibly, it doesn't make you "cool". If anyone happened to see someone (that they know) keying a car, I would really appreciate a message to let me know. Thanks Terrey Hills Tavern for helping me investigate this.
