Huge place! Very busy when we dropped in for dinner on a Saturday night. We managed to get a table straight away though. Even though the line was long to order food, it moved quite quickly and it didn’t take too long for our buzzer to go off to collect our food. Service was super friendly too! We grabbed schnitzel and fish and chips and a few drinks (which you’ve got to order separately to the food at the bar). My schnitzel was pretty decent. A good size - not massive but not too small. I could have had a few more chippies. The fish was a little dry (possibly over cooked), but otherwise not too bad. I’m told the wine list wasn’t “great”, but was ok. The beer selection was fantastic though! Not a bad place to drop in for dinner, and a few beers!

Brewery that doesn’t promote their brews is a bit suspect. Our table only had a food menu with no drinks/beer/wine menu despite having to order food and drinks at the counter. We had bottles of the pinot grigio in the absence of pinot gris. Food was good but inconsistent. One of my friends had a much smaller steak than another friend who ordered the same dish. There was live music which was actually pretty good. The female musician was quite versatile performing a few different genres

The scotch fillet steaks are great- best in the area. The chips are crunchy and aioli sauce beautiful. The staff are really friendly and surroundings welcoming and luxurious. Get a membership card for great discounts on everything.

It used to be one of my favorite destinations pre 2020. Great ambience, food, customer service and beers but I went there twice in a span of 2 months, most recent being Christmas eve, and the food was very mediocre both times. Besides the food everything else was still as great but am disappointed in the food. The menu and the items seem to have changed and its not for the best. I hope we can have the old menu and preparation style back.

Great place to take the family for lunch or dinner. We have been a few times now and it is becoming a favourite of ours. Family with 2 kids. Hopps playland is great for all ages with two separate play areas and heaps of tables. The kids menu is great too and a fabulous price. Food is well made and great value for money, quality and quantity. The staff are always smiling and happy to assist when needed too. Always a lovely experience

This giant roadside pub sells its own brew along with a great range of food. I tried their smoke meat platter that featured 3 types of meat plus a jacket potato and slaw. The chicken wings are lovely, the other meat is tender but a little short on flavour. The BBQ sauce that came with the platter did not rescue them with its lack of seasoning. Their pumpkin salad and cauliflower salad are both very tasty but a bit oily. Beyond the food and drinks, they also have an enclosed kids' area with slides, arcade games that are sure to keep them occupied for hours. The only challenge would be to find seats as the place is very busy.

My family come here all the time. Our group of friends also. The food is great (consistent) and the boys love the beers. The kids make do with the old play area but they refurbished and its way better. We also have our child's Baptism reception here. We are very happy with the food and service! We also love the activities they have for kids during the school holidays especially the Zumba! Thank you Australian Hotel and Brewery! Decor is different ... Dark but it is a pub.

I came across this place by just passing by and decided to drop in. It was right on opening and i think i was the first person in I told the barman and how surprised I was by how big the place was and how beautiful it was to which he kindly showed me around, all the outdoor areas function rooms gaming rooms bars excetera. I stayed for a drink and spoke to some of the staff to which they were all very very friendly and helpful hopefully can return for a longer visit one day.

We went for dinner wasn't too bad! The Cheeseburger was surprisingly decent! The schnitzel was also pretty good. I had the Hazy IPA. It was good! If it isn't a regular brew then it should be!! The staff were great and it is well presented and set out. My only complaint is the food is a little pricey $20 for a cheeseburger and chips is a little steep.

Now, this is a nice hotel... well was a nice hotel. We have been long time customers of the brewery for at least 5 years. It had a great vibe. Great food. Still has great customer service and excellent staff. Tonight, was very disappointing. We ordered steaks x3, barramundi and a pizza. All were sub standard. The chef needs to pick up their game. It's no excuse to be dishing out food like that. I think next time, we will spend our money somewhere else and just come for drinks. New owners pick your game!

Apart from no smiling staff nor warm welcome at front desk when entering, the food and the venue are both outstanding. Had the staff not appeared as though we were interrupting them upon entry, it cpuld have been a 5 start rating. 3rd time here and only bar staff seem to be welcoming and happy to be here.

This pub is becoming a landmark for Rouse Hill. I love going to this place for their tasty home brewed beers and the ambiance the place has to offer. The menu seems like it has a lot on it but there really isn't a lot to choose from. There isn't a standard el-cheapo steak on the menu which I believe is a pub staple. Great playground area for the kids. Plenty of TVs so you can watch the game in the corner of your eye while pretending to talk to the wife. All in all a great place to hang out at.

The brewers have done a great job with coming up with seasonal flavors every time w’ve been there. Having said that the southern fried chicken burger on the menu we had last weekend was a let down, it seemed the chicken was precooked and kept for long in the oven, it had become really hard to bite, as we were getting late we had half of it and left as the kids were getting restless.Also, to order food we waited 20 mins in the line.May be online app ordering could be introduced to help with long que’s on busy nights. The indoor play area is a good one specially at night, although it became stuffy once the seating area was full with the air con not been able to be strong enough..

Large pub with different zones. There is an excellent play area and zone for families with a playground for both younger and older kids. This area can get very loud when busy. Pub food is available but you can also get a coffee in the morning when they open at 10am. Every time I have gone there the place has been very clean.

Exceptional customer service last night by Nigel & other bar members, including the gentlemen at the front door. It was a busy night with State of Origin. I was arriving for a meeting & had no idea where to go. The gentlemen took the trouble to confirm where my meeting was then found me a table for dinner. Nigel whilst taking my dinner order assisted me with joining the publinc community. The gentlemen who poured my drink was excited as he shared the community that they were able to support through publinc last quarter. The lady who made my coffee made the perfect cup. Whilst I don't usually write reviews, I had to share how impressed I was with this young team. It's the little things that make for an enjoyable experience & these guys nailed it!

We're only just starting to venture out to public eateries again. I have to commend this hotel for their high standards and how well they are managing COVID restrictions. We felt very comfortable. The food was great the service however needs to improve. I understand that Friday might be a busy day but when you see people who arrived after you get their orders before you then I think their service needs to be addressed. Waited for nearly 45 minutes for the orders to finish and for us to pick it up only to find that they made a mistake. The lady at the counter taking the orders was quite rude when she took our order and even if they were not talking about us, whispering and laughing in front of customers is a reflection of bad customer service. I asked for a table away from speakers or any loud noises and they put us right smack under the speakers. If not for the good food that they had, I would not want to go back for fear that I would be treated the same.

My wife and I had the barrumundi and the Scotch fillet with Dianne. Barrumundi was a 10/10 Scotch fillet was cooked as requested medium rare but was the the fattiest piece of meat I have ever eaten , a 1/3 fat left on plate. Dianne sauce was strange to say the least. Staff excellent Would be hard pressed to try steak again as someone is not getting what there paying for or there getting a very cheap supply.

While menu is limited, they still have favourite food options and variety of drinks, and the team is very helpful and friendly. If you're out on Friday night, booking is recommended as there are a bit less tables now than before restrictions.

What a great place for a beverage and a feed. Firstly, the beer here is HELLA GOOD. The Australian Pale Ale was a particular favourite, with passionfruit and citrus notes. Really refreshing on a warm day. The food is also bloody amazing. And reasonably priced for what you get. Sure you can get a decent feed cheaper elsewhere but it is not going to be as quality as this is. If your having a function and made reservations you can get some decent seating. All in all, if you are out this way, stop in for a few hours and have a long slow lunch.

The Australian Hotel & Brewery is located on Annangrove Road. I really love this pub. I would recommend that you sign up for membership - it's free. As a member you get discount on some meals. They have $15 lunch-time meals. Also you must try their wide selection of beers. Last time I went, I tried their IPA.

We recently had a function here for around 70 people on a Saturday night. We got the upstairs function room with a pizza bar and a personal bar tender. The night went very well, I was initially worried that there would not be enough food but there was more than enough and gave us some boxes to take the left overs home. Although the bar tender started 20 min late, they gave us a bit of extra time with the bar and heaps of extra time with the room. We were allowed to come in early to set up the room and some decorations were provided for free. It would have been nice if the management had informed us that 90% of the parking lot would be sectioned off for an event the following day, a number of our guest were a little annoyed and the older guests struggled to walk from down the road. All in all it was a memorable night and the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

G'day all, I visited this place with a mate for a quick lunch yesterday. The staff there were very attentive and seemed genuinely happy with their job. The Australian Brewery is a fitting name for this place because it surpasses all expectations of what an Aussie Pub should have. They have all the popular alchohol options along with their own award winning beer. With tv's on every wall you'll know the scores of every single match of sport that went on that night. However, most important of all it has the best price to portion ratio, as every pub should, and the food tastes great. If your into the rsl/ sports club themed dining, this is a must.
