Comments of The Fiddler
T. K.
The Fiddler is probably the best social venue in the west. Call your family & friends.
The Fiddler is spacious, every corner is unique, vibe and food are good.
I had chips and Chunky Beef & Guinness Pie Served w creamy mashed potatoes, green beans & gravy.
I wouldn’t say it’s the best Guinness pie I had, but it was comforting. The potato chips were crunchy and the dipping sauce was nice.
It’s a great place to catch up with your family and mates.
For these reasons I give this place 3 bears.

I love that this place has parking spots for customers. It's a really big place. The food was amazing. Physical Contacts is minimized by ordering from your table. All you need to do is scan the QR code on the table to order your food and drinks and it will he delivered to your table. You also pay immediately you order.
I love the food and everything about the environment is Instagram worthy. You get good food + beautiful photos. 😍
G.
Amazing food, quick service, good vibe and great ambience!
Chicken Parmesan is absolutely a bomb. The serving size is also quite generous. Burgers are also quite nice here.
R. G.
The place is massive with both outdoor and indoor seating. Ambience is very nice and the service is quick and excellent. The food menu is limited as compared to other places (Marsden Brewhouse). Limited vegetarian options.
S. P.
A relaxed atmosphere, perfect to catch up with friends. We ordered through the online menu. The app glitched and we had an extra two beers arrive at our table. A refund wasn’t an option so it was swapped out for another cocktail. Next time we will go to bar and order instead to avoid this.
We got a few cocktails and the platter to share between 4. Its beautiful and green, nice bush vibe. Food was yummy, a little over priced but decent food.
The lady at the front of the entrance can be rude. She had asked us to go and get masks then as our friends came through she didn’t ask them. It felt like a power trip.
S.
Decent parking space. Order food and drinks through a QR code that links you to a menu. Good atmosphere, lots of outdoor seating which is great during the pandemic. We ordered drinks a few times through the app, some times the drinks arrived quite quickly to the table, other times it just sat at the bar counter for over 30mins (it got busy) and we weren’t allowed to pick them up from there
A. S.
An amazing location and decoration with various choices for seating, drinking and dining.
Nice place for flirting as well ! 😁
The only thing a didn't like about fiddler : They forgot to serve one of our potato wedges as they were really busy and crowded, the rest of the night was quite well.
J. S.
They serve amazing Pizzas and one of the best Vegan burgers in town. Lovely place to hangout, vibrant crowd and friendly staff.
Visited many times, always feels good.
R. J.
Lovely place in the west. Great ambience, wonderful staff and great music. Drinks and food were great! Only if they could replace plastic straws with something more sustainable, I would give it a 5 star.
M.
Very airy place . After the pandemic it feels like a safe place to be . Loved the settings , spacious space , “mist” or whatever it’s called .Ordered a rump steak 🥩 and it was ok- not the best I have eaten but it was good . Very clean too.
M. L. W.
Love this place! The pork knuckle is a must have. So much collagen and the crackles is top notch. The portion is so big , you'll need a big takeaway container.Plus point with NSW Dine voucher you get double value!
J. P.
What an amazing location to celebrate a special event. A huge shout out to the amazing team who went above and beyond in communication over the past 6 month's during uncertain times and a heartfelt thank you to the amazing chefs, Jeric, Tara, Ammi and Shelly, my sincere gratitude and appreciation for all your hard work and making my daughters Bridal Shower just prefect!
A. D.
The food was Excellent. The ambience was great.
The restaurant is really huge with many seatings.
Great for family, parties, functions & office gatherings.
Staff were very friendly & helpful.
Located Near the Train Station and around 5-10 minute walk to the restaurant.
Give it a try...and then decide for yourself whether it's a good place to dine.
Enjoy.

So so great clean tidy lovely feel about the place and food was 1st class
M.
Excellent value
Friendly staff
Easy parking
Great food
Nice seating
D. W.
Great Irish atmosphere in the original section ! Tasty Guinness Pie & mash & pint of Guinness !
M. T.
This place has a lots of nooks and crannies to go and eat, drink and entertain. My dining experience was on a Sunday evening and the crowd of people were mainly teenage clusters and families. The food was cooked well, portion sizes generous. The atmosphere was casual and laid back. A great place to catch up but you may have to raise your voice a little to hear each other amongst the noise. The waiters and waitresses were young and keen and I thought did a tremendous job serving us and clearing up. Well done to the Fiddler management for creating an environment for these young up and coming people to mix in conversation with the patrons. A breath of fresh air
W. R.
First time here and loved everything about it. Great ambiance and something we've not been able to find in Melbourne yet. Pity my burger was a bit dry but otherwise everything was great and a playground for the kids which is a super bonus. We'd definitely go back.
Z. X.
The food was amazing, the outdoor seating choice is great in these days.
A.
It's a nice and bustling place during the later hours of the day. The price of food is a bit on the high side with its only redeeming quality being it's nicely sized portions. With the taste not being it's strong point. Though it's great place if you wish to drink and with mates and friends
E. L.
Definitely hidden treasure!!!
Such a lovely space to dine and explore.
Although with a bit drive, worth every single minute spend there.
Friendly staff, every one of them. I mean everyone.
Had a lovely day there with my family.
Also thanks for the amazing offer for government voucher redemption offer.
Foods are tasty, good portions. Kids friendly.
Will come back more.
Thanks for the offer.
L. R.
Food was lovely, servings are generous and the expresso Martini was to die for....yummy
T. R.
The best dining experience I've had in a long time. Delicious well cooked food with gorgeous presentation shows someone in the kitchen loves what they do.
The app for ordering drinks is easy as and table service was quick. I can imagine it gets turned off when things are super busy like on the weekends.
S. D.
Amazing location and greatest quality food plus service.
N. K.
Love The Fiddler! Such a great place with the best atmosphere to hold pretty much any kind of event. I've booked here many times - super easy via their website. And if there is something that for some reason can't be done online, then I've found their customer service over the phone to be equally as efficient and helpful!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. And not to mention their Friday Teacher's Happy Hour!!
J. B.
Nice enough venue, hideaway rooms upstairs,
Ordered an eye fillet, was overdone, sauce and chips and veggies good, decent pizza, loses a point for that steak
b. o.
Went to The Fiddler last Friday, coming all the way from Melbourne and was extremely disappointed in the customer service. My friend waited an hour and a half for a garlic pizza and whenever we asked the staff to check on it, nothing would happen until one (and the only) polite man finally did something. A security guard also wouldn’t leave one of my friends alone when he was literally just standing with us. Less important but the bar staff should also be trained on making classic cocktails.
M. W.
Awesome venue! Love the vibes. Food was good sized and tasty!
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Even though it's a big venue, the small sections made it feel really warm and friendly 🙂
A. W.
Amazing food and large servings. The playground is fantastic, well maintained and clean. Really enjoyed our first visit, and will definitely return. Choice of music was excellent. Volume perfect. Greenery and various other elements were spot on.
Highly recommended.
Service - 5 stars
Food - 5 stars
Playground - 5 stars
Overall ambience- 5 stars
Venue - 5 stars
Location - excellent
Parking - ample
A. S.
Jake, Phillip and Jordan from the security team did an awesome job of helping us feel safe whilst not acting in an overbearing manner. Their care for customers really allowed for a great night, one that was well needed after Covid. Great work on security, keep it up!
G. C.
Amazing place delicious food and heap of options for drinks. The Irish Pub is classic.
E. L.
This restaurant have a lot of opening area and also very antique decoration. They are very worthy to visit. However the food still have room for improvement when compared to some restaurants in some Italian towns in Sydney with the similar price. I have not tried the bear as I don’t drink. But in general, it is worthy for visit.
J. P.
Great place. Right next to mercure hotel and they provide breakfast and food for the hotel. Very busy almost everyday. Great for family. We had lovely dinner here.
We also had brekfast but bit disappointed with delay in our food getting served.
Coffee wasn’t great either. However, i would definitely come back and try lunch here. They also take accorplus
E. L.
Went on Easter Monday because they were generous enough to allow a double up value of the NSW Dine & Discover voucher. They were very organised despite the crowd and the busy, busy day. We had read that the pork knuckle is a must-try so we ordered that together with a serve of crunchy fries & 2 sides of veg.
We were half expecting the food to be sub-par on account of the crowd but boy, were we wrong. Despite having to wait an hour for the food to arrive, it didn't disappoint when it did. Well ... the fries were a tad cold but still crunchy as promised. The pork knuckle was absolutely delish with a perfect crackling and meat that's been baked to pull-apart tenderness but not dry. Kudos to the chef for that beautiful piece of pork.
What lifted the experience from good to great was the awesome service by the bartender on duty whom we regrettably did not get the name of. He was friendly, professional, had a smile for everyone and seemed to really enjoy his work. Our table faced the bar and it was an absolute joy to watch him serve customers with a genuine smile. To the redhead bartender with the moustache & 80s retro glasses, thank you for making our dining experience just a notch more enjoyable!
J. A.
It was our first time there. I highly recommend The Fiddler. There is the old part of the pub with the decor like an Irish pub in Ireland. Than you go out the back & there is more & it keeps going, kids area with playground, garden area, the beer garden, The verandah & the sports bar, it is modern, staff are friendly.
A. E.
I have been going to the The Fiddler for years now, but am disappointed with the choice of menu options. The pasta dish has gone ... no pasta or rice on the menu and hardly any main meal gluten free and vegetarian options available. The atmosphere and staff are lovely.
R. A. (.
I had the best time with my girlfriends. Awesome settings, good vibe and a lot of fun. The watermelon cocktail just set the mood and food was great.
G. C.
The best place in Rouse Hill to have drinks and delicious food. Weekend Night Club is too good.
G. W.
At the time of my visit recent renovations of The Fiddler had been completed, with a extensive and comfortable dining choices and seating outside provided. The range, choice and quality of food is also very good.
C.
Never disappointed in this place, great food, big portions and plenty of seating areas. Will stop by anytime.. just get rid of KFC lol!
D.
A worthy experience especially if one can visit on a weekend. The drinks and food are scrumptious to put in one word.
Wait staff is friendly and the order is delivered in a reasonable amount of time despite a large crowd of people at the same time.
The music floor is really keeps the vibe alive for the place, the indoor live viewing experience has its own charm.
V. S.
Good foods & drinks.
Steak not the way I ordered.
Nice outdoor seating
Heaps lighted parking
Priced accordingly
D. M.
The Fiddler is a pleasant place for a meal but it isn't comfortable. The food is OK, similar to an RSL club bistro. I highly recommend the ribs as I have found them consistently nice.
A. K.
Best pub in western Sydney. Kids friendly, beautiful ambiance and lots of place to sit relax and enjoy especially when you have the option to leave the kids in enclosed and secure play area
T. P.
Great spot for a session. Wide selection of pub grub and beverages. Outdoor play area for the kids. The Irish pub makes me feel like I'm back at temple bar. The pork ribs are huge. Well worth it. Will put you in a meat coma after a full rack
j. d.
Great portion sizes on the food and Kilkenny & Guiness was 👌
R. M.
Great bar to have a good time with both family and friends..
Ample space and ambience to suit different moods ranging from courtyard to sports bar to outdoors smoking zones amongst others.
Staff is great and courteous, parking is unending.. in short nothing to complain about
A. S.
Great pub, with something for everyone. Decent food, nice selection of drinks. And crucially for parents of young children (including us) - an enclosed play ground.
S. N.
Ordered pan seared barramundi with mashed potatoes. Got charged for the mash but no discount for taking off the salad, baked potato and other. Fish lacked flavor. A bowl of chips costed $10 and the size was less than McDonald's regular chips. Will I go back? No.
M. M.
Great food and the staff were very accommodating to our group's mobility needs (two in group). Only downside was the very loud and not very tuneful band celebrating the St Patrick's Day weekend.
A. Z.
Impressive size and set up, nice decor, friendly staff, reasonably priced beer and a fun general vibe. Great place for a weekend gathering with some mates or family.
M. C.
Great place to catch up with friends over lunch. Very delicious meals, extremely generous serves, and great value as we took advantage of the seniors card special weekday offer. Excellent friendly service too.
b.
Such a beautiful place with a nice atmosphere. Bartenders weren’t the nicest people though. They really underpour there spirits, which isn’t what you want especially when you’re paying for a full 30mls
M. C.
I ordered the good old Chicken Schnitty,Chips & Salad..
Not too bad.The salad could have been better...A few leaves of Kale & a few strips of capsicum..
T.
Great experience and great venue...didn't expect the outlay when we walked through the doors .was a pleasant surprise .. food was good and servings were very generous... Staff were polite and friendly and very accommodating for our large group....very enjoyable experience
V. M.
What a gorgeous place, offers multiple vibes depending upon what you want to experience. A must visit place if you are looking for a nice fun relaxed time out with kids (great outdoor seating around play area).
N. T.
We are a group of friend loved Fidler Club in Rouse Hill. Once upon a time it provided a good service but recently going backward instead of
Improvement of its services.
The lettuce in the salad was not washed properly. We showed it to the manager but manager did not care at all
6 soap containers in the women restroom was empty and no any other cleaning product available in restroom
Week days are discount days for senior citizens. So for example we could buy a $25 food and get the same second fòd for free. But when we paid by Gov voucher our request for discount rejected because we paid by voucher than money. We still don't underestan what is difference betwen a $25 voucher and a $25 money.
B. M.
Great ambience and wonderful food. We had the schnitzel and fish n chips. Great large serving wonderfully prepared and served to us in comfortable dining area. So much to browse and history to read. Must return with our grandson to check out the playground too. Wonderful helpful staff as well.
P. D.
Absolutely beautiful. Food delicious, service wonderful. Atmosphere fantastic. Great place to catch up with family. Thankyou
J. W.
The food is pretty good. The price is a bit high for what they have on offer. The location, however, deserves 10 out of 10. I would consider this the little brother of Grounds of Alexandria. Not quite as instagramable, but there are so many different areas here, with different styles, it really is something special.
G. B.
The place is gorgeous!! I wasn't a fan of the food, had a chicken parma with mash and it was just ok. I missed having a salad on the place to balance the fried stuff. The mash wasn't nice thick heavy and plain. I wouldn't go back for the food but the place is beautiful.
S. C.
Fiddler serve really decent food and big portion too. A little more at the pricey end unless you have a discount voucher, then it's the best thing in hills!
R. C.
Great venue to have a lunch meeting. Friendly staff and a great selection of food from the kitchen. Can't wait to come back.
R. T.
Nice venue for a lunch or dinner, or for a drink, make sure to make a Reservations before dinning in, specially with the limitations of amount of people they can accept because of the Restrictions, Food is good big serving. They also have play area for the kids to play at.
L. G.
Good atmosphere and great food. Buy your beer from the sports bar - it's cheaper. Also Accor members can enjoy 50% off food.
C.
Loved the atmosphere and vibe! Food was good but a bit pricey. Drinks were great. Mocktails were OK.
P. B.
Beautiful in every way. Caters for all the audience. You got a pub, mini theatre, pizza place, family retreat with play area, nice food and ambience. The ‘mist busters’ is a cool touch - helps you cool down on a hot sunny day. You got a wide range of food and drink options
S. S.
Awesome food and very pleasant and jolly setting.
Definitely coming again with family and friends.
p. p.
Great establishment. I have to admit I was starving when I walked in but the drinks and vibe kept me going throughout the night. Good crowds of people and great staff!
D. Q.
Absolutely great for parents and children
Reasonable price for food and drink
We totally enjoyed our time there with the friendly helpful staff
Have been many times and looking forward to our next time
F.
Love the food here, all meals are huge and everything looks yummy. I get 50% off with Accor membership so this is my go to place for a pub feed.
M. D.

Loving the new look and vibe of The Fiddler! The decor and greenery is just beautiful! However, we were left quite disappointed with the food. We knew not to expect more than just traditional pub food, but we were served cold pizza! The drinks were great. A little bit of TLC with their food, and this place will be even more amazing.
Great toilet facilities. Disabled and baby friendly.
B. B. J. L.
Place is wonderful with a great ambiance. The food at best is average with overcooked lamb and wilted salad
J. S.
Had a great night out with friends. Georgia was fantastic and had absolute attention to detail!! What a beautiful young lady. Thanks
s.
The Glasshouse room is good for a wake after a funeral at Castlebrook as it is just one block down the road.
Finger food was appetising, staff helpful, pleasant and respectful.
We had heaps of food left over which had been paid for so one of the female staff boxed it all up in takeaway containers for us which was great.
Two negatives: 1. “hot” water for tea and coffee was lukewarm. 2. Not one, not two but THREE (totally sober) guests walked straight into the glass wall thinking it was the door to outside, the last guy, coffee in hand ploughed straight into it. Perhaps the ‘G’ motif on the glass could be a little more evident for OH&S compliance. However we laughed and laughed bringing a light moment to an otherwise solemn occasion.
B. A.
Well, what can I say? After 18 weeks, my friend & I could only think of one place we wanted to return to & that is The Fabulous Fiddler. We sat in our usual spot inside & upstairs, surrounded by all the History & felt all the stress & tension disappear, as we sat on the comfy sofas , as familiar as " old friends", with our beers, awaiting our Australian Hamburgers & Fries to be brought to our table. WOW! Absolutely Fantastic, like Hamburgers of " yesteryear" when all the juices dribbled down your chin. Exquisite. We couldn't fit in dessert, but rounded it off with Coffee. Once again, we walked out full & happy , determined to come back very shortly & enjoy the experience once again. It was like " coming home". YAY.
N. C.
Great food and I love that it’s got different areas to sit down whether it’s indoors or outdoors and enjoy and few drinks with a variety of foods. It’s a nice casual place to go to
R. P.
Love this place from the atmosphere, food and the cocktails. Staff work super hard and consistently go above and beyond to provide value for money.
M. T.
The food here is really now. All the food we had was on point, including the wood fire pizzas which were delicious and came out quickly.
The beer gardens is great for hosting a party or small event. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
Plenty of free parking available onsite.
R. S.
Excellent breakfast menu, friendly staff and atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.
D. R.
Great venue for small to large groups. Great food and beverage selection.
High visability COVID Safe operations including table ordering through the ME&U app.
D. K.
I enjoy going here. We have had some good times here and some bad. Our visit today was the worst by far. In fairness there was a system failure and our orders were all wrong and when they arrived they were cold or completely wrong. The staff were rude and walked off every time we told them the order was not for our table or we asked where the rest of our order was. It took over an hour to get all our food to us. We were told the manager would come and see us and apologise for the inconvenience. We left 30 mins later and the manager never came over to see us.
J. L.
Just don't come on a hot day, mostly outdoor seating and the bar seating isn't comfortable at all. Good food and service except one cranky male staff who's horribly rude
K. L.
The Fiddler (formerly The Mean Fiddler) is a great Irish pub. I guess the change in name reflects the desire to distance itself from when the pub was heading the NSW violent venues list.
In any case the pub has the perfect ambience for a relaxing lunch. If you go into the Irish section, then you can get a Kilkenny Draught on tap.
Also Senior Card holders can get 2 meals for the cost of one. Note that you need to show 2 Senior Cards.
There's a daily lunch special and also have a regular lunch time $15 pizza.
There are now Tap, Order, Pay facilities at each table. This means that you no longer are required to line up and order for your meal, but now can do it from the luxury of your table. The system accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and credit cards.
H. S.
Delicious food. Lovely customer service. Great place. Best thing about the place is, its got different bars with different theme. Loved the experience.
F. X.
The authentic Irish setting makes for an outstandingly dining experience. Food was great too
D. N.
I am amazed how this place can be so consistent with their food for the last few years. Always great flavours, little wait time with lots of amazing places to sit. Great for couples as well as families. Very clean and safe venue with lots of friendly staff always at hand. This is a well run business.
J. G.
I used to come to the fiddler as a teenager and the old chook pen did not disappoint. From farm land to fab. This place has been refurbished really nicely so there is a good vibe here. There is plenty of lovely outdoor seating and plenty of bars to place food orders and drinks at so you arent in queues all night. This is a big pub and can get quite loud on a saturday night but there is definitely atmosphere and a good buzzy crowd. Live music also on the Friday night I visited.
There is a high quality menu with really well cooked and generously portioned mains. Average plates looked to be between $28-$35 but you get your moneys worth. I paid $45 for a share plate and was not disappointed. Beautifully presented and every item was delicious from the applesauce pork fillets and battered halloumi to the spicy chicken wings and crunchy sweet potato fries. I will definitely return here the next time I am in the hills district. There arent many night time stops in the area but this place definitely deserves a look in.
D. 1. P.
Wonderful family experience . It has a little bit of old and a little bit of new.. There is a new hotel being built if not finished already right next door. Play areas for the kids and face painting every weekend. Night life for the groovers too. Well Located near new home estates and just a walk to the new Rouse Hill train Station. Great range of beers on tap and imported ones too. Very nice dining experience too
R. K.
Had 40th birthday party in games room.
Excellent service... food... privacy
D. J.
Nice place. Quite friendly staff. Visiting for the first time will be a lil bit confusing. But afterall, nice experience.
W. G.
Great portions of food and tasty stuff. The price is expensive but worth it for the service and quality. The whole place is a treasure and worth looking a round.
A. M.
Private function for a friend's son's 21st. Wait staff slow to clear tables!! Not sure if we had our own as part of the room or just what was available?
M. R.
Great beer, great staff, great food. Had a "before the storm" paddle and enjoyed every one of the different beers on it. The bartender also prepared us a custom paddle for us to try the different styles and was very knowledgeable and helpful! Had a stout cake with ice cream , and it was delicious! An absolute must!
O. T.
A few drinks before dinner with my son and his mate. Really great buzzy atmosphere.
S. T.
Nice peace of heaven in Sydney.
Good and fast service even on a busy night.
Fresh and delicious food 🍕.
A place for families.
Highly recommended.
S. H.
The food was not the best I ordered Barramundi and that's what I got a piece of fish on top of a plate of spinach.. nothing else $32 no veg no chips just spinach... Yes I ate the fish.. is was plan no seasoning or salt of pepper not even a wedge of lemon....and yes I was still hungry..
D. B.
Even for a Sunday dinner this place was busy.
There is a good select of food available. Between normal bistro food to wood fire pizzas.
Staff were very accommodating. Especially for our kid.
Its a popular place so don't expect a quiet sit down.
S. M.
A very nice place. Food is okay not too bad. Will come back for the atmosphere
D. W.
Lovely atmosphere, quite peaceful on a Thursday night. Lots of stuff to look at in little nooks & crannies. Service was good.
Comfy chairs....

The entrance smells like astray however except that it is a good place to gather, drink and eat. Food is also okay.. Also has a child play area.
N. S.
Great place, friendly staff, delicious food!
s. V.
Staff are very nice, and the ambience as well as the mood of the place is phenomenal. The food and drinks are also of very high quality.
A. S.
So u want delicious food in a a really nice atmosphere. Come here
A. S.
Good service ,staff were very helpful they reminded me of my vouchers to be used from NSW service app & topping it off with a beautiful meal with desert thank you fiddler .
D. J.
Ample seating, table service and awesome food. Pizza's were particularly tasty.
T. “. S.
Enjoyed the experience, good food and venue. Was particularly hot that day so we appreciated the spray mist!
S. 3.
Great atmosphere and kids play area to play in. Went here yesterday for my wife's birthday. It was just nice that our child could play while we could sit back, relax and have something nice to eat for lunch and a glass of wine. I have also been here for Christening functions.
D. R.
Friendly staff but special mention goes to the doorman and security staff. Very professional Very friendly and approachable. See them handle some tricky patron situations in a very calm professional manner.
N. P.
Nice place for a summer warning meal. Food is reasonable it's the atmosphere I go for here.
A. R.
Great historic pub easily worth it just for a visit, good food and helpful staff if something is wrong (daughters burger was underdone and they apologised and replaced it quickly)
Irish bar is great now serving proper guinnes and kilkenny pints with a decent selection of whiskeys etc too (however they need to restock the scotch lately)
Kids eat free friday night its a no brainer.
y. c.
Food is excellent, so yummy and satisfying, the service is awesome, it is so family orientated, there is a kids park there to
R. v. V.
Bloody awesome atmosphere, great food, and the "Creme Brûlée" the BEST EVER.... Highly recommended!
F. (.
Have been here several times and the food never disappoints. It’s a huge place with nice decor and the ambience is quite different between inside and outside of the building. If you prefer vintage style, Irish theme then it would be more suitable to sit outside. If you’re more into casual and trendy vibes, you can choose to sit outside. They also have sports bar there.
The place is more packed on the weekends so reserving a table is advised, especially if you are coming with a large group of people.
Today we had our usual dish that we always order here: bbq smokey pork ribs. I was also intrigued to try their new range: woodfired pizza from Al’s the pizzeria. I chose Mannaggia pizza today. It’s pretty good.
Their coffee is awesome too.
J.
The general area is okay. I like that it's now very family friendly. I can't say I'm a fan of the food. It's quite overpriced for what you get. I must say, however, my experience at the Glasshouse venue was wonderful. The food was so much better, the steak tasted amazing, lamb entree and desserts were incredible and having a bar there is a great idea for events.
C. S.
Excellent food, good areas to eat, courteous staff, Recommended
P. H. (.
Great. Has both indoor and outdoor areas for all age groups and awesome food. I love this place!
J. H.
Great steak, I did select chips in stead of mash but mash was very good! Great COVID-19 ordering and service, with cold beers🍻. Will be back 👍
B. R.
Such an awesome vibe . If they had more food varieties that would have been great.
D. M.
Melbourne cup day and youngsters dressed to the nines. Good platters and good fun. Only bad thing was they did a sweeps but alot of people missed out on their winnings as they had to go back to work and an hr after the race finnished the fiddler sweeps people still did not come back to give the people their winnings. Not good Fiddler..not good at all. Im going in today to try and get it .. its not a close trip for me to pick up something that was due to me on the day I was there.
C. D.
Wonderful atmosphere. Good entertainment. Reasonable prices. Great food.
A. W.
The best pub food and great variety of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) served at a great local pub in Sydney's northwestern suburbs. One of the biggest pubs in the Hills Shire.
w.
Went here for a wake. Everything was pretty good without being over the top. A solid place for the occasion.
M. V.
We had my best friends 30th here and it was 10/10. Shelley and the team were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond. She helped us so much on the day and everything ran smoothly. The food was also amazing. Thank you to the chefs!
I had people telling me all night how good it was. Everybody had a great time and there was more than enough food. Would love to book another event here soon. Highly recommended.
d. m.
Food was good the place was clean, staff were friendly and ordering and paying at the table is made very easy by QR code.
A.
My kids favourite place, dancing, music and live performances 👌 great food.
N. J.
We booked a venue for our wedding at the fiddler. The service was amazing, the food was spectacular and the drinks where great and constant! Extremely happy and Taneyle the event organiser is an amazing person who helped us through with everything!Highly recommended and will definitely celebrate more occasions at the Fiddler!
N. M.
Fabulous atmosphere! Plenty of areas (indoor and outdoor) to sit and great selection of food. Will definitely return!
P. C.
Attended a wake during the day. Lovely staff. Food was reasonable
a. t.
Nice place but super crowded and music is too loud around the counter so sometimes you can end up with a wrong order. But amazing staff
A. M.
Good options on seating areas, great play area for the kids and good food.
S. T.
Great place to eat with the kids, staff are friendly aswell👍😊 Food is deliciously good too👌
S. M.
Good atmosphere, good food, could be more affordable, this cheesecake was tiny yet expensive though delicious
E. C.
A great place to have lunch especially for seniors with a two for one deal.
A. H.
Fantastic, the venue is beautiful, huge outdoor area especially different areas, in the sun on these cold winter days. Sit in or under cover perfect.
Plenty of parking.
Service is excellent , friendly staff.
Food fresh, delicious definitely go back. Within everyone's budget.
Great to go with a group.
We had a Tuesday special luncheon.
Must go to!!
K. C.
The Fiddler is already a great place, it's buzzing nearly all the time. It's changed a lot over the years, in a good way. The staff are great, the food is great-although maybe a little expensive, atmosphere is great. Now that they have music back every second Saturday is fantastic. I would recommend anyone, families, to go there.
A. S.
Very cool complex with multiple outdoor and indoor areas for pub food or drinks. One area is the historic pub which is a bit of a maze, but extremely interesting, worth checking out. Service was friendly. Prices of drinks were slightly steep but food prices were ok. Overall well worth the visit
G. D. J.
If you have never been then must check it out. I particularly like the Playground section where you can sit at a table and enjoy a great meal with a drink and keep an eye on the kids.
I. L.
Very well spaced and decorated. Nicer open feel compared to similar styled pub/restaurants in the area. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Nice touch that you can order and pay from the table via your phone. The food was a bit of hit and miss. I had the double cheese burger and it was not juicy and was not served hot as the cheese was not even slightly melted. The veal parmi was nice according to the missus and the kids bolognese was yummy. So overall 3 stars. Will give it another go. On account of the ambience
S. J. K.
Pretty average, very poor tap beer choice, and limited and basic beer offer at all. I just had a Ceasar salad (that was well below average) so I can't say for the rest of the menu.
The place is big and decently looking, but is crowded and horribly organised. There's a sign on each table proudly stating you can skip the line ordering remotely simply scanning a q-bar... But once you scan the q-bar you're promptly informed that the system isn't working and to order at the counter, which is 20 minutes of line....
G. E.
Place is looking great, nicely renovated.
Good staff, laid back atmosphere
K. N.
Food was good, very busy and loud. Good security pressence
G. A.
My review would be 5 stars if it wasn't for a 1 hour wait for one of the desserts all the other dishes and desserts came fast. Place is really nice, food was really good and servings aplenty.
That 1 star might be due to Covid adjustments, forcing the place to change from bar service to table service, so maybe on a separate visit I can update it.
T. M.
Great Venue! Great food, all round good experience
N. K.
I ate here recently and was definitely surprised. My pork belly was delicious. Drinks on the pricey side, but you pay for the buzz and the atmosphere. The best local pub in my opinion.
A. S.
Very impressive. First time back after ten years and it certainly has changed for the better. Family friendly.
S. R.
Fun night. Cocktails were great and the atmosphere electric. One of the security guards was kind of aggressive with a group of younger patrons next to our table who didn’t seem to be doing anything wrong. Nevertheless a really fun night.
S. L.
If you want to know why it's a 5-star rating, you have to go out and check it yourself and then you will know exactly why.
A. K.
Very friendly staff and great food. Came with a party of 11 with no booking on a Friday night, was seated immediately and could not have been happier. Ordering drinks and food via the QR codes provided on the table was quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend!
L. A.
Place was pretty busy. Hard to find a empty table. Food options were good, served in good time and delicious. Ribs and steak. Cocktails were delicious and served very quick. Enjoyed the atmosphere and decor.
J. M.
What a fabulous vibe this venue has. Cleverly incorporating the old buildings with new allows varied dining experiences. Plenty of garden or indoor seating, plus childrens play area. Sports bar facilities. Excellent service and really delicious meals. Highly recommended!
J. H.
Always a good pub for food beer and good music give yourselves a great night out take plenty of friends and enjoy its being cleaned up so its safe and enjoyable
C.
We are new to the area and have made The Fiddler our home away from home!
After many visits, we have always had a great experience, delicious food and the best place in The Hills for a drink with friends. The vibe is always perfect.
They will not disappoint! Highly recommend!!
b. o.
Good lunch place and from the looks of the place, is a nice spot to hang out at night (once COVID19 is over, of course)
P. P.
Absolutely a “smart and pleasant” family restaurant. Plenty on offer —- food and drinks + a dedicated play area for children.
Covid safe protocols....👍🏼✅.
NSW voucher - $25 =$50...yes double your purchasing power! You also can order and pay from your table electronically...the food is delivered to you.
Friendly staff... food service. PLENTY of parking even when busy.

I go to the fiddler all the time on Saturday nights and it's a great vibe for young people. I honestly never have a problem except for when I decided to go for my birthday. At the time there were restrictions regarding standing up while holding a drink and i think they closed at around 12-1am. Anyway it was 11:30pm on a Friday night and my friends and I were seated at a long table. My friends start to sing happy birthday and a male staff member walks up to our table mid song and tells my friends to stop being loud in the most rude way possible, obviously I was not happy and asked if they are not allowed to sing happy birthday. This particular staff member replied saying no as he was walking away. Must have been a bad night for him because I asked another lady and she was perfectly fine for my friends to sing happy birthday to me but by that time we decided to leave and the night did not end on a happy note.
Honestly it's always that same staff member being very cold and rude. other than that I always have a great time there.
J. B.
Good service, great serving sizes. Only wish they had smaller forks for the kids. Wouldn't mind seeing chicken nuggets on the kids menu. Small suggestions but certainly not deal breakers. Will be back soon.
R. V.
Meh. Serving is not great. But then it's Australia's standard of horrific gastronomy people skills
s. l.
I love this place. My favourite is the Pork knuckle. The crackle is so crunchy and the size is huge. If you can't finish your meal, you can ask for adoggy box with no judgements. Its good value for money and they double dine and discover vouchers so 50 instead of 25
A. Y.
Very cozy & warm for a winter weather plus nice food.
T. K.
Great place to eat and atmosphere is amazing. Fast service despite being full
T. B.
Very nice food, generous serves and great deals for seniors.
M. W.
Food was pretty good. Lots of spaces set up that didn't make it feel too crowded. A little difficult to social distance however.
T. N.
Nice tasty lunch with friends. Menu is very good with variety. Service is good and setting is relaxing with various comfy areas to choose from. Very popular busy place that I definitely will return to.
j.
Nice place and ambience. Food was mostly good. I got the pork belly burger, however the sauce used was a bit overpowering. A bit too tangy. The chicken parmy was awesome! The chips served for both were amazing too, perfect and crispy.
However, my experience was tainted. The staff at the end welcoming and saying bye said it to every person, except for my partner and I (maybe because we were the only people who weren't white). Was a small touch that put a sour taste to a overall good experience. It made me feel less than and not valued as a customer.
M. O.
Food came quick. The drinks were cold. But the misting fans played havoc with my glasses. I stayed cool though.
L. M.
We had my daughter's 21st here Saturday 11/7/2020. The staff were professional and always politely reminded us of the current restrictions. A big shout out to the Reservations Manager, Melanie Barton and her team who ensured we were taken care of and were so professional in our dealings - nothing was too much trouble!
The food was great too!
Thanks for making it a special occasion, under what is undoubtedly extraordinary times!!
P. E.
Good food refreshing ale and polite staff.
J. S.
What a hidden gem. 2 dance floors. Great crowds . Great alternative to the city
B. P.
Been there many times throughout the years, but just went there for a wake after a funeral, perfect venue for all types of events and occasions. They catered food and drinks for the event in a secluded spot and made everything go smoothly after what is typically a tough day.
A. K.
Food has always been great. Good atmosphere.
J. M.
Had breakfast which was great. Staff was very polite. Great atmosphere
R. J.
Good food, great atmosphere and good company.
C. B.
This place is massive. Very generous portion sizes
T. T.
Service was very average and not a priority. Drink quality i.e cocktails and mocktails poor. Stick to beer or bottle drinks. Only saving grace was the food. Fair but not the best. Also, ordering at the bar is slightly cheaper than use the app and tap sensor at the table. Lots of flies in dining outdoor on a sunny day. No fly zapper. Ambiance pretty good.
L. D.
Best in the west. Spacious and comfortable great food and service
E. M.
Good feed and good place to take family. Food is not bad. Good service
S. L.
Spacious both indoor and outdoor, friendly staff, delicious foods, senior discount prices.
D. C.
As always good food and vibrant atmosphere.
J. C.
It's a nice place, the food is great but the food service turnaround is terrible. It's too SLOW!! The food servers were running around like headless chooks. By the time we got our orders 3 of our companions were already finished eating. No apologies whatsoever! They should improve their food service.
R. M.
Staff were pleasant ,cool atmosphere on a hot day . Guinness pie was a great choice very tasty.
C. T.
Oh I really thought yous deserved more than a 5 star review! From ringing up to book a table for 40 2weeks before, to coming in to veiw the venue, to going in earlier before the party started to pre order 25 pizzas & hot chips to get them delivered to our table at a certain time, & using the kitchen to store my cake, cupcakes & doughnuts till we wanted it, was all so easy, stress free & to top it off customer service from everyone was so kind, helpful & awesome!
Such a lovely venue, as I was in the beer garden & all my guest were blown away at how big & flash it was, & just a nice relaxed atmosphere. Even tho our tables were only for 3 hours, we got an extra hour then we were asked to move upstairs to the lounge & nightclub as there were plenty of seating in there & a DJ who was awesome aswell. So many secret doors in that place 😊 But I highly recommend this place & definately will be back again 😁 Thanks for making my last minute 40th birthday so easy & memorable 🤗
A. J.
Visited the Glasshouse for a Christmas party. The food was quite tasty for a function room, with the waiters and bar staff are friendly. The room was very nice with a sandstone fireplace and outdoor area for dancing which was allowed with the current restrictions. We all needed to check in for covid safe too. The only downside was it took about 15 minutes for a cocktail to be made and had to go back to the bar to get it...
G. P.
Great food and ambience, well worth the stop
M. M.
Used one of the D&D vouchers for lunch where the pub matched with another $25 contribution ~ great marketing idea. So also thought half of Rouse Hill even though mid-week and wet.
Had pizza with extra topping; dining partner had the Guiness Pie. Neither of us blown away with either the quality or quantity. For me the pizza lacked zing. The pie was also a bit bland. But the wine was good ...
C. V.
Awesome place. Cozy. Warm ambience. Food is also great.
G. P.
Had a sneaky lunch with the wife today here before school pickup. I had the Double cheeseburger and it was very tasty.
r. b.
Good food and drinks. Good ambience and great service.
T. P.
Cool place to catch up with friends for breakfast, drinks or watching your favourite sports match.
D. G.
Really enjoy the food and drinks here. Time for the food to come out is a bit above average which is nice, and ordering process has been made super simple using the apps (though there's still the traditional way if you prefer that 😉)
Have come a couple times and would continue to return
B. J.
Very big outdoor seating areas. Food is quite good and of course they have Kilkenny on tap. The bar service can be a little slow.
D. J.
Love Hate relationship, the place is awesome, has a nice layout. The food is terribly expensive but generous servings and great food. The venue occasionally smells like puke, I moved table but same problem in another section. Great playground for the kids. White Rabbit beer is amazing. Some staff are not well trained in terms of customer service. Overall 4stars, love and hate relationship.
A. L.
Great food, great service and nice atmosphere/vibes. Family and kids friendly bar/restaurant.
p.
Expansive settings both indoor and outdoor. Great place for drinks with mates and bar food. The Irish bar has a good collection of malts. Food is ok.
W. G.
Great atmosphere, good food and excellent service. Booked three tables and staff attended promptly to any questions or need. Thoroughly recommend for a group booking.
a. a.
It has a friendly environment and staffs, but unfortunately our Pizza’s base taste was not fresh and The burger taste was ok not very good.
G. W.
Amazing service and range of food and beverages. Bookings are recommended although it is such a large venue you can usually find a table via walk in. Food is a little pricey but delicious and generous sizes.
B. C.
What a top place the Fiddler is! Whenever we feel like going out for a DECENT sized steak, Fiddler is the place. Security is excellent and ample parking. Beer is cold food is served hot.
Not a bad place for casual business meetings as well.
M. L.
Beautiful Outdoor Setting
Staff was Nice
COVID Safe
J. S.
The place has evolved into a mix of the past and the future. Fiddler offers rustic and modern structures, warm and bright ambiance, delicious dishes, excellent customer service, and now an easy ordering system where using your phone, you just scan the QR code on your table to open the menu, order and pay! Talk about comfort and convenience.
B. E.
Food was amazing!! I got the lamb cutlets, it was perfect 👌🏽
However service was a little slow... I ordered my food at the same time as my parents yet my dad didn't receive his until 20 minutes later. We tried to wait and eat as a family but our food was getting cold. I wish they brought everything together so we can eat as a family.
L. P.
The night life hit its peak when covid restrictions lifted once and for all. This venue was packed but in the best way. The vibes were so lit and with the right company it made this place a stand out for night life. You don't have to go into the city to have a great night out.
F. E.
It has great size and secured playground to leave the kids to play while the adults enjoying some good time with friends, however, the place was crowded even for dinner on weekday and the foods we ordered took nearly an hour to be served.
B. H.
Great place, awesome food , excellent service!!
P. H.
We love the Fiddler. Great atmosphere especially on St Patrick's Day.
J. B.
The food is amazing the service is amazing the staff are amazing they are amazing at what they do 10/10
J. M.
Wow walking into The Fiddler Pub for the 1st time ever, wasn't I impressed. Many different areas u can have a drink or meals at. Very spacious throughout the whole pub. Many outdoor areas to chill out and relax. Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Many different varieties of food on the menu. Lots of parking out the front. Closed proximity to shops. Would recommend this pub.
J. O.
Was a nice dinner overall. Had a good vibe but COVID was still taken seriously by the staff. Bruschetta and Wings were nice and the Salmon was done perfectly. Unfortunately the cook went overboard with the sticky BBQ sauce on the Pork Belly burger and made quite uneatable.
M. D.
Loved the place. Went with family on a weekend. Great ambiance and good service. Food came to the table faster than we expected. Would definitely go again.
L. B.
Come and join people, you will enjoy the Irish Bar and great pizza!
A. N.
Love the variety of food and collection of cocktails. Prices are reasonable. Promotions are amazing. Customer service is hit and miss.
Miss going here with that someone special
L. C.
Hard to find sitting on the weekend if not booked in for a table, the food is otherwise great!
L. L.
A very pleasant, cozy and trendy place with a chiq vibe.
c. b.
We had a great lunch for a celebration and the service was excellent.
S. M.
Came here for a family breakfast with kids. The playground is fabulous, the food was fine, but the service was pretty ordinary. Waitress spilled coffee everywhere, but didn't offer to replace the coffee, even when asked directly; one of our meals was forgotten, so we had to remind them, and when we ordered a second round of coffees, we waited over half an hour before we received them.
P. L.
Very delicious food and quick service.Excellent Will come back again.
I. P.
Atmosphere is great! i ordered the Carbonara pizza which unfortunately was extremely bland. missing the classic garlic flavour carbonara normally would have. The waiter we had did not look happy to be there and did not smile once. bit of a shame because its a relaxing environment.
M. “. S. S.
It’s okay, but their menu needs a shake up. Been twice in one year and it’s hard to find something healthy. Also, a bit overpriced.
S.
Very C19 safe. A little dark in the lounge area for a day time visit. But overall very nice. Have the Me&u ordering system though lost data connection on occasion (probably due to rain)
P. G.
Staff so friendly the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us really nice afternoon couldn't recommend it highly try it
S. K.
Amazing place for some fun time. Huge premises - lots of tables and interesting variety of ambience/ setting right from old style pubs to modern day cafe to sports bar. Great beer and good food.
w. w.
Good atmosphere... But abit dissapointed to the food
M. F.
This place has really turned around and become a great local spot!
The food here is surprisingly really, really good and the bar selection is vast.
The atmosphere is great and there are plenty of spots to choose from for a drink or a bite to eat.
Gets very busy here of a night time and becomes a bit rowdy when the nightclub crowd comes out, but they do a good job of that too if you’re into it!
V. N.
Great place and good ambience.
We were at booth no 4 last Friday night around 8-9 PM and were taking drinks in the bar just in front of the booth. The guy in that bar was very rude and was passing unnecessary comments while serving. Giving 3 stars just because of that guy’s rude behaviour and bad attitude!!
A. E. (.
Very nice place. The crowd is young, mainly twenties. Not the best drinks. The venue is great though with nice music. Didn't try the food though, but there were nice options on the menu.
J. B.
Excellent food, good areas to eat, courteous staff, been few times when out that way. Recommended
K. B.
Friendly staff, extensive menu reasonable prices. Creative seating options inside or outside with heating. Outside area has a cosy ambience.
K. S.
Great service! Yummy food!
E.
It's a very popular place but it's because it's great !!! Great food and staff. The layout is beautiful and love the cafe. The kids live the milkshakes. I recommend reserving a table if U want somewhere specific but even if you don't you can still find a great table. Parking is easy and plenty of it. Would recommend to all.
A. L.
Great food and customer service. Staff were lovely and poured a good Guiness.
P. G.
The outdoor heaters were awesome! And loved the ordering drinks and food from the table using a qr code. Very convenient.
H. E.
it's great to have a local pub that makes you feel in the city
I love everything about it..every corner is different with a different atmosphere..
friendly staff..outdoors & indoors
you can just go for a quick drink or a snack or spend the whole day there
love it!
L. M.
Great selection of tables. Good drinks.
R. S.
This is such a different place to what I remember 10 years ago. It’s so family friendly now and the food and drink options are much improved. I appreciate the (albeit small) section of interesting local craft beer choices. Would recommend for a family dinner option on a Friday or Saturday night. It was very busy so booking is a must
A. H.
Great food atmosphere, Irish Dancers added bonus and I wanted a St Patricks Day T Shirt, had to try and catch, I missed lol and this lovely guy next to me said "here you can have mine" How cute!
J. s.
Looks in Great Condition I like the way they have separated the restaurants from the other bars hadn,t been there for 10 years.
Friendly and kind staff very helpful would recommend for families easy parking.
B. d. P.
Good pub with restaurant style setting. Staff were efficient and polite. Food served was good quality western meals. Lots of parking available outside. Ambience is good but somewhat noisy inside.
R. R.
Have passed the old stone building for over 60 years with fast
ination, but never had time to stop and investigate. Last night we booked in overnight at the hotel ,not aware of the location .Imagine my delight on arrival. We explored the Fidler, before dinner, and I mean explored. The history is interesting ,early 1800s .The Irish theme decore gives nod to being opposite the Vinigar Hill Rebellion massacre sites of the Irish political prisoners. The innocent Fancis Greenwway designed building out front hides a huge set of buildings behind and under ,much of it is filled with early colonial memorabilia with strong acknowledgement to the Irish theme.Hence the Irish Fidler name. The food was great, the ambience was great.I will return ....I recommend you visit even if you just walk through. The food and drink, although great, are just an added bonus .
M. W.
Great food, I recommend the Chicken Parmigiano, ably dispensed with a couple of pints of Kilkenny ... bar staff were friendly as well. Yeah, a most enjoyable time.
C. M.
We now visit the Fiddler multiple times a week due to the exceptional service , variety of food selection and cleanliness . A huge thanks to Melanie Barton - one of the Managers there for always accepting our booking requests , making us feel welcome and warm hospitality. Our new regular place to go !
B. M. (.
The most beautiful open courtyard restaurant with bars and beautiful cocktail s, definitely reccomend for birthdays, weddings and christenings. Or just a night out with friends. The food is definitely spectacular with 8/10 in presentation and 9/10 in food quality, Cocktails were a 7/10 while the decor and service during covid-19 was 10/10. Definetly worth coming too.
D. D.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly people, decent menu and drinks. Been there a few times, but the last time, Claudia on the front desk was an absolute delight, couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. She was a credit to the place
A. R.
Heck of a lot better than it was pre-Covid. Staff are more normal, friendly and happy to help. Food is better too.
S. B.
The Fiddler has become our local handout. Great food, great vibe and reasonably priced drinks; cannot wait to celebrate St Paddies day here.
B. B.
Always a great place to meet for lunch, at present giving double value for dinning vouchers from NSW govt, lunches only from Monday to Thursday, food was excellent, service was reasonably quick but book first.
D. N.
Big place food is great little bit pricey but again you pay for what you order got a nice feel and atmosphere we reserved tables looked like all the tables around us were booked to
S.
So nice since the upgrade. There were plenty of varied seating options, most undercover but still in the open courtyard area. The food was yummy, although quite pricey. The new playground area is a great addition, although the dusty red bark mulch underneath was a poor choice. The kids' (and parents') clothing was covered in the dust and it kept blowing into the eyes of the younger kids. The equipment had things for young and older kids, although it was really busy (Sunday afternoon). It would be great to add in another one or 2 activities there.
A. F.
Best steak ever, and the service was fast and friendly
B. M.
Food is amazing and especially cheap with our dinner's discover voucher . Atmosphere is beautiful.
Staff are friendly
Top place for friends and family to get together.
D. F.
Absolutely amazing, good price for what you get. Top quality alcohol, pay less but great quality. Honestly this place has a fun funky atmosphere of which that is welcoming, warm and relaxing.
The fiddler is an ideal place for a date or a catch up with friends while enjoying the aesthetics of the location, including the unique bottle tree's within an unorthodox destination of adequate design.
Top quality 10/10
Would recommend

Had worked hard to reinvent itself over the last few years, becoming a more versatile establishment that caters to a wider range of needs. Better family facilities now complement the sports bar and club sections,v with a larger outdoor area. Last few meals have been great quality and friends have said similar.
Reasonable/comparable prices, neither expensive for the area/competition nor cheap. Old/original Tavern still has a wide selection of whiskys (my favourite part, and the largest selection I've found in the northwest of Sydney)
W. F.
Security can get a bit full on if you are a male with a few male friends and not like you entering.
Once you enter and behave yourself you will have a good time and a lot of fun.
Do recommend

Helpful staff with great food and cold beer, what more do you want

Went on a Saturday lunch. Must say the bar and other staff we delt with where super friendly and covid safe. The bar itself looks amazibg. Food was an absolute let down. We substituted chips for water lilly chips which where good( we are keto and i know that's a pain for chefs to modify menu so might be our bad). My wife ordered pork belly and I ordered pork ribs. Both tasted like broiled meat. Maybe they are better at night? Some of the worst tasting pork we had ever had. Did see people getting pizza and burgers which looked amazing. Even other pictures of ribs on google looked different to what we got. I have to remember its covid season and would be very hard to service a menu of that size with reduced customers. I would still recommend the place just cant recommend the pork

I havent been back in 5 years and can i say this place looked amazing. The vibe was different and the atmosphere was very inviting. Highly recommend this place for a nice Sunday lunch. I had the pork knuckle and it was one of the best ones I have had.

It has been about 8 years since I was here last. This place looks amazing. The food is well priced with large portion sizes and taste delicious. A large range of drinks and the top bar has an extensive range of whiskey to choose from. Highly recommended.

Love the Fiddler... since we moved away we really miss it. Definitely stop here whenever we can, love the vibe and atmosphere of this place both the old Irish pub section and the newer more modern courtyard area.
J. G.
Well staffed, plenty of outdoor spaces with a great atmosphere. On premises woodfired oven making amazing pizza, and the pork knuckle was epic.

Love this place! Especially when it is hot and the mist is sprayed over you. Good prices and family friendly. I love the old and new aspect of the original pub and the addition at the back. Lots of nooks to sit in on the inside. Great Irish bands usually play.

Despite the mad rush post the lockdown easing,I must state that the services held fort and ensured prompt and correct order was provided

It's a nice looking place. Pretty good setup. Except for when it ends up being completely overcrowded and you're waiting 15min+ in line to get drinks, while standing in a walkway... until it's time when the dance floor is cleaned out from being a restaurant (about 10pm) you're just standing around in an overly packed beer garden with nowhere near enough seating. And there's still a line out the door down to the bottom car park for people wanting to get in. Good luck hearing your thoughts while there.

Have our own cosy family spot amongst the books with pun names. Always good service, good prices, tasty food and a great place for big groups to gather.

Would be helpful if you can clarify your seniors discount policy. I went for lunch on16/01 to celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon paying I was asked to produce 2 seniors card to be eligible for the seniors discount 'Second meal free for same or lesser value at The Fiddler'. Lunch was great but was disappointed that I wasn't given the discount and had to pay full prize for both meals.

Brilliant food, my pork belly burger and sweet potato fries was delicious. We sat in the dungeon. All the room's were unique. Dining areas in the sun. Great place for a Sunday lunch

Awesome atmosphere, great tasty amazing food. Would recommend for a night out for a be bite to eat. Service is phenomenal and am getting married there next year.

AWESOME PLACE!!! food amazing service great! You guys do it so well in Oz!!!!

Food excellent, value for money very good, staff efficient and friendly especially when under pressure with so many patrons. Highly recommended.

Unexpected. The outside of the building deceives what you find inside. Walking through the entrance, you enter into another world of incredible hospitality. This place is massive! The fit out is incredible, open air courtyards, dining spaces, cantenary lighting, palm trees. Exceeds all expectations.
A. H.
Food standard is good however, staff are not coping with large crowds drawn by current special offer with the dining vouchers. Long wait for food and drinks.
A. L.
Good for the dine and discover doubling your voucher and would only eat there if it was free. Extremely long wait times for food and drinks and subpar cold food.

all good
nice time there

I'm not from the area but I was really impressed by the venue. We got food and drinks out in the courtyard. The food took quite awhile to come but when it did, it was very good. The atmosphere was really nice. Some people were having a baby shower which looked really nice. Most of the tables were reserved so that could be quite important. There seemed to be lots of parking.

Simple woodfired pizzas Italian style. Enjoyed my Calamari. Portions sizes decent. Staff seemed well trained and attentive to requests. Good quality food and atmospheric settings indoor and out. Appeared a favourite to large groups and small.

Really love the vibe, best place to go with Family or group of friends to chill in the Hills. very spacious and food is delicious. my favourite is the wings. they're so good every.single.time!

Great place for a get together with family and friends. Nice food. Very popular

This is a beautiful place both summer and winter. During summer, the outdoor area is nice. At times they have live music. Lots of different areas with a variety of ambiance. The inside of the building is really unique with its design and feel. The different rooms are ideal for small groups. Private and fun. The beer is good. The food, generally speaking is ok. Certain things are over priced for the value you get. Their new fire wood pizza oven is very good. The place is usually busy. Lots of parking and easy access. It can use a general cleaning. The fabric on some seats are very dirty to the point it's hard to use. Many surfaces are sticky. Overall, it's a good experience and nice place to visit. Especially being a historical building.

Food was great and the place exuded a laidback vibe. Great for a night out with friends family as it is sprawling enough to find your own little corner somewhere. I can't say I'm a big fan of the bar staff though, who consistently (been there so many times) lack the motivation to serve and give proper customer service. A lackadaisical attitude just turns me off and to think they're the first staff you interact with when you get in.
M. O.
what I like about the fiddle and the variety of different areas that they have set up. There is good food available throughout, and the staff are always friendly and professional. Sometimes the waiting time can be a little bit long, but never disappointing. There is a large drinks menu, and it is family friendly.
G. K.
Food is always good and has a great atmosphere. Can always find somewhere to sit.

Came here with a group of mates last Friday night for the first time and was immediately impressed with the venue. The service was pretty good and it has a nice Irish atmosphere about it especially when you enter the actual pub which is like a maze to my surprise. Will definitely be coming back here again!

The Fiddler is always a great experience. A wonderful venue with awesome decor, well priced food and drink options and polite team members there to assist our enjoyment at their venue.
B. A.
Nice place however the service needs a bit more. You constantly have to ask for spoons, serviettes and such. Would really be great if they saw that and then this place will be great.
K. S.
Great food. Good decor.
G. W.
Top place for a quiet drink or meal.

Very wide selection of food and great atmosphere. Prices aren’t cheap but food is delicious and portions generous. Can get quite busy on some days. One positive is the playground at the front which the kids really enjoy although it is starting to look worn / dated.
N. L.
Huge venue but can get very busy on weekends! So food can take a while, but big portions, hot and tasty.
R. G.
Tried this place a couple of weeks ago with the kids in tow. The food came out super quick and it was not to bad. The portion sizes was huge and none of us, except my teenage son, could finish their food. The prices was reasonable and the little one had fun with the caramel and chocolate sauces he could pour over his complementary ice cream. Will be back when I am more hungry 😉
M. M.
Various areas with different ambience. I love the revived old Irish pub with all the little nooks and corners and gorgeous decor! Kids playground is always handy. Hearing in winter and mist fans in summer this place is perfect all year around. And what's best, the food is fabulous! So much better than your average pub food! Selection of drinks is very good too.

Nice Irish style pub, nice food and great place to meet friends to have good time. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

We had our wedding reception at the Glasshouse and we had an amazing time!! Great food, beautiful venue, amazing value for money and Melanie has been absolutely exceptional from day one - highly recommended if you are looking for a function venue! :)

Very spacious. Food is good. Many restaurants and bars in one place. Very friendly staff. Had been there more than 10 times and want to go every month.

Everything was a little bit all over the place for my taste. Food was okay but no ambience or atmosphere.

Very warm and enjoyable. Food and service was very good.

Great atmosphere and kids play area to play in. Went here yesterday for my wife's birthday. It was just nice that our child could play while we could sit back, relax and have something nice to eat for lunch and a glass of wine. I have also been here for Christening functions.

Very nice place. The crowd is young, mainly twenties. Not the best drinks. The venue is great though with nice music. Didn't try the food though, but there were nice options on the menu.
M. S. B.
Good place with great food. Kids can enjoy as well
S. M.
Loved it, great to know kids can stay until 10 but would like to have some entertainment for them for family friendly events.

Highly recommend holding your next function here. Jerric is quick to respond and has been a pleasure to have organise everything for us. He also organised my friends baptism in glasshouse room. Staff members Jackson, Shelly and amme were exceptional on the day and made us want to hold our next function here. Looking forward to my 40th!

Food and service excellent. 5 star

Very good service and fantastic food we will be visiting The Fiddler again soon

Love this place. Great service. Ambience is great with so many cool areas to sit. Food is fantastic and the wood fire pizza is just great. My favorite local.

This place has improved out if site over the last 5 years great atmospere and love the outdoors or indoor setting and is really well heated in winter and also they use a dehumidity sprinkler system in summer to cool it off. On a few occasions staff can seem a bit rushed and pushy towards the end of the night so they can clean up and finish but overall great place would now bring my family here that wasn't always the case 5 years ago.
C. N.
This place is great! Really fun and really good food and atmosphere. The place is massive and accomodating. We had a great time there.
W. 4.
It's ok, food is nothing to get excited about. Get in early and request undercover seating as on hot days the outside tables are scorched and your rather be dead than sit in the sun with no cover.
L. C.
The Fiddler was a great venue to host my nans surprise 70th lunch. The place is very bright, airy and the food is great. Staff on the day and through email were helpful and friendly. I would recommend as due to the size they have many options to suit your needs.
J. B.
Nice place. Lunch was good. We got a bowl of wedges as a snack to watch the end of the Bathurst 1000. Was very disappointed was so salty and it certainly wasn't $12 worth of wedges.

Great Food, Friendly Gaming Staff and Great Licensee, Thanks Nick.

Overall a great venue. Their chips and chilli mayo dip is soo good! however I wouldn't recommend their pizza. I thought maybe we just had a bad pizza make once but it was the same the second time we ate out. The pizza base was soggy and hard to pick up. There is plenty of other better food to order.
T. B.
Amazing looking pub. They did a great job with the decorations and the setting.
The food could definitely use a little more love, although the menu looks great, the food is just inconsistent.
Plus it's one of the only places in Sydney that has the highest ratio of security guards to patrons.
When you have to get your licence scanned before entering does not make the place feel welcoming at all.
I feel that rather than just refusing to serve alcohol to the more drunk patrons, they just call the security guards to kick them out. Its not a nice feel and it looks as if they just don't care about people and would rather alienate somebody than mske sure they get home safely.
M. C.
Really enjoy the food here. Lot of people but the food came quickly and was delivered to our table. Bar service was pretty quick as well if you look around and find a quiet spot
D. M.
A good pub. Family friendly. I went there on sunday and it was plenty of families with kids. Kids eat for free on sunday. A bit busy though. Booking is essential though. Plenty of parking. Good food. Reasonable prices.
G.
Nice spread out place - somewhat different to your standard pub. Food came out very quickly and was nicely cooked. Much better than your average pub food. Can get busy at peak times.

It's been years since I came here. There are so many areas to sit. Food and service was great. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back.

Went to lunch with a senior group. Meal was great. Staff very helpful and professional. Will go again.
