We have been a few times and we didn't enjoy the new set menu was not as good and didn't have the options that we had enjoyed before.
We both choose different entrees they were both under cooked but looked good on the plate.
The mains were the meat dishes we had previously enjoyed and were very good but with less choice of sides and that was disappointing.
The desserts were yummy.
The cocktails were good.
There was a mess up with our water but the fixed it without fuss.
One of the waiters was acting a bit strange but all the others were very good.
All though overall it was good it lacked the things that we loved and made us go back.
I think we will skip this restaurant next time we are here. There are other better places close by

I read reviews about the breakfast here being really nice.
The male staff at the entrance today didn’t seem to be in a mood to greet 😋
The food here is fairly standard, nothing special. We had a standard English breakfast. The fruit was mostly melons. The honeydew was raw 😏, peaches, pears and apricots preserved. Fruit juice canned. The mushrooms and rhubarb were great. There was a good selection of baked items.
The best thing I had at breakfast was a great cuppa tea.

Absolutely amazing food. The Wagyu entree and the beef tenderloin were highlights.
Service was great. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great experience dining here for a birthday dinner. The table right by the window has such an amazing view of the resort (do book in advance and ask for the table as it's worth it).
The lamb shoulder was very small which was disappointing but the New York baked cheese cake definitely redeemed itself.
Highly recommend coming here for dinner one night. The prices are reasonable for Hunter Valley and the 3 course menu is to go for

Great food and fantastic desserts. Love the creative use of tropical fruits in the desert. Well done chef. Just surprisingly delicious. Also great service. All staff offered friendly welcoming service. Especially a young lady by the name Sophie who looked after us really well. She was just fantastic! Congratulations Sophie. My wife and I had a great experience. Thanks to the team at The Legends Grill🙂👍

Extremely friendly wait staff who constantly looked after us. Food was amazing and views outside were lovely. Would definitely come again.

At first glance I was a bit skeptical of the price for the selection in the menu but I was certainly wrong. Every dish presented was superb! The soft shell crab was “soft” and lightly salted and the steak was to die for! The 1/2 corn fed chicken was certainly a treat and highly recommended! Hats off to the fantastic waiters and chefs

Convenient if you're staying at the hotel but avoid it if you can.. Very underwhelming. Staff where hit and miss.

Been in this place for five times. Nice and elegant environment and fine food. Beautiful resort and top end golf court next to it

Very nice food. Waiters were very nice, a tad bit slow, but really, one as in no rush

Don’t let the underwhelming restaurant name stop you from making a booking. My bf and I had a great dinner experience. Recommend the prawns chili ravioli, paella and lavender creme brûlée with a bottle of Pepper Tree’s verdelho. Wait staff were lovely and attentive.

Set in the very chic Vintage estate, this upmarket grill serves sumptuous meals and delicious desserts.
Catering to the general populous and this staying at the nearby chalet you would be well served to enjoy a meal here.
I was impressed with the surroundings then more impressed with the service, the food and the interior decor.
Their sticky date pudding is sublime and must be tried (ask for a scoop of ice cream)

Great service and food, we thank Nathan especially for helping my fiancé plan the most beautiful surprise proposal. He wouldn’t have been to do it without him. Team and management is exceptional, couldn’t recommend enough

Wonderful and lovely. This season is Greek day.

Steak was very good. Other items ordered were not as listed on menu and were disappointing for eg. Sticky date pudding served with berries not ice cream, brocollini was broccoli and pasta was not as described on menu. Disappointing as in past has been good.

When I compare this restaurant to high end ones around the area. This has gotta be the best. Flavours on point with well balanced food on the plate. Sizes adequately porpotioned with the price tag. Thier tuna salad was the best ! Waiters are confused sadly (prob newly hired) however very nice

My partner and I spent our 3rd yr anniversary at the Mccure Vintage Resort, and the legends grill was right next door. On our last night we decided to have dinner at the legends and we were not disappointed.
Firstly, we asked then during the day if a soup could be prepared and without hesitation the chef was happy to accommodate. It was a pretty good pumpkin soup, bowl licking stuff.
I had the lamb rump with a side of onion rings.. man the chutney with the onion rings was so could I wanted nothing but that.
Just before eating Tony the magician was making his rounds which was entering and good a laugh.
Nearing the end of our wonderful experience, we wanted desert, sadly nothing caught our eye however only to ask waiter Chris of an affogato and bowl of vanilla ice cream could be arranged he was quick to jump onto the request and made our night end on an even bigger high.
Thank to the team for everything, we will definitely be back.

Very difficult to find - there are no signs anywhere. I eventually went inside to ask if I was in the right place and then had to go back outside to park the car.
Overall, nice, classy, definitely at the 'fine dining' end of the scale. General atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Service was good. Perhaps a little pricey but that's par for the course, for this sort of place.
Both the Wagyu and the Sirloin were good, but not amazing, and both were a little overcooked - we ordered medium but they were closer to medium-well.

We couldn't fault this restaurant. The food was superb, both in taste and presentation. The service was efficient, pleasant but not intrusive.

Great job by staff trying their best under the current circumstances and huge changes due to COVID restrictions. Lovely coffee and big breakfast and really nice that the waitress remembered our coffee order on our second morning.

Amazingly friendly service. The slow-cooked beef cheek was superb. Great selection of local wines at sensible prices. Highly recommended.

Best eye fillet steak ever on share platter, fabulous service, terrific wine. So good we went back 6 days later for the steak. Just as good.

One of the best buffet breakfast served in the Hunter Valley region. Well worth the price and lots of fresh food and options for breakfast.

Great service. Greek menu and chicken soulaki for 2 was enough for 4! It was delicious.

Nothing special, just an OK place.

My partner and I shared the chateaubriand. The food was fantastic and the service was good. The atmosphere and view were ok.

Consistently great food with friendly staff. I highly recommend the eye fillet, chateau briand and the entire yum cha menu!
