The food is AMAZING! I can't wait to try everything in their menu, but today's curry, snitty and prawn pot were all simply delicious! Love the atmosphere there too, very spacious pub. Drinks as good as the food. Best Espresso Martini I have had in a very loooong time.

Held a function for 35 people and was very disappointed with the food. Ordered $400 worth of platters and found them somewhat paltry with no attention to detail. Had a function previously and was delighted but would not go back again.

Had a good meal here last week and played trivia. They mucked up our order a little bit but were apologetic and gave us a free meal so all was good in the end.

I hadn't been here since they renovated...probably 2 years ago. So I had no idea they had a lovely interior courtyard with big high skylights. The barmaid was very friendly and helped us pick some novel drinks (I highly recommend the alcoholic ginger beer). All in all, a good place to go for a casual afternoon drink. I haven't tried the food but there were a number of things on the menu that were appealing.

Have been going to this great British style pub in St John's Road Glebe since the '80s. I was a little concerned when the makeover seemed to go on forever and that we lost that cool old vibe with the wooden benches but they surprised me and really stepped up with the new design. Food, as always, is reliable and super tasty. Vegetarian and Vegan options as well as great steaks, burgers and fish and chips plus delicious daily specials. Yet another venue with just super friendly, helpful customer service which is a dying art for sure. I go here at least monthly

The inside is lovely and the manager is terrific. We ordered the squid as a snack and the manager saw our dissatisfaction with the size so she brought us a free order of chips. Great local place. Will be going back 100%.

We put on birthday drinks for my husband and the upstairs area was perfect. Jane who is the manager is wonderful and made the experience stress free!! The food is delicious and service top notch. Plus dogs are welcome. Highly recommend!!!

Delicious food for Mother’s Day. Live music was a plus for sure. Only downside, my brother is in a wheelchair and their “disabled” bathroom was still down 3 stairs which made it very hard to access from the restaurant room and also from the main entrance. Was a team effort having to carry him and the wheelchair up a set of stairs.

A hard place to rate, because it’s a pub, and it has beer, but it doesn’t really have anything extraordinary going for it. Mind you, I have been known to pass a fair bit of time in there. Mostly when they had pool tables, which they didn’t seem to have on my last visit. For pool, you might find Forest Lodge a better option. It’s just around the corner.

I have been a regular visitor to The Nags Head for the last 7.5 years, and I must say the food there has been abolutely outstanding every single time I have had the pleasure of eating there. Being a seafood buff, I always have the fish of the day, or whatever fish they serve, and on every single occasion the meal I have been served has been cooked to perfection, and last night Saturday 10th June 2017, was no exception. In addition to the great pub food, the staff are very friendly, the service is great, and the pub itself is a beautiful old style English pub, with lots of charm and character.

Good modern pub atmosphere, but it was quite overpriced for simply adequate food. Majority if items for dinner are $20 and up. Got the steak and they forgot the salad and only had a literal handful of chips. They brought the salad when it was mentioned and were very nice about it though.

The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I found the menu to be a little limited for vegetarians and vegans (there were some options but not a good range of mains). The vegetarian burger was really bad. Just dry crumbs.

Pretty standard sydney pub. Big dining area out the back. Havent tried menu but it is quite expensive for pub fare. Has sports on big screens and a separate room upstairs with a pool table and balcony which is nice. No dogs allowed 😔

Spent Father’s Day at the Nags. We enjoyed live Jazz music and sensational food with large proportions - definitely worth the price. The bartender was very friendly and delightful. Great pub, great atmosphere!

Nag's is a 8 minute stroll from the University. Staff are friendly and always keen for a chat. Has a nice English pub atmosphere. It's $10 lunches are a student's blessing and of good value. Just needs to do the basics well to keep us coming back. I'm beginning to enjoy the new beers on tap and spending that time on the balcony or pool table upstairs.

Came to see the new renovations and stayed to dine. The food was a very pleasant surprise and reasonably priced. I found the 'dining room' rather bland and disappointing so take your food to the top floor and you will not be disappointed as it is a very pleasant environment to eat in. I will certainly return and add the Nags Head to my list of favoured locals.

I used to work here and I unashamedly love the place. The food is often terrible, the service is better (certainly since I left) and sometimes it can be as kooky a space as the cantina in from Star Wars... however the beer is good (the wine less so) and the company, if you give it a chance, is excellent... We had great customer service then the manager accused us of trying to get a free meal, leaving us out of pocket and obviously inconvenienced. At no point did the manager accept that we had paid despite money leaving said bank account. Happy but frustrated in the outcome.

With a definite 'local' vibe, the Nags Head is perfect for a quiet Sunday pint and roast dinner. Deceptively big, there are a number of seating areas plus a large dining area at the back and comfy sofas to settle into. Recommended if you're in Glebe/Anandale/Forest Lodge and don't fancy the hustle of Glebe Point Rd.

Love going to this pub as I am a local.. it is close to the shops and main road of Glebe and public transport.. It also has all all different sections parted off so the tab is in one area the pokies are in another area the eating and dining are in another area and then where they drink alcohol and the bar are also in another area and is part of why I like it too

Today myself and some 'high rolling' friends (who unfortunately could not make it)...Well, I made it ! I had lunch at the 'Nag's Head hotel' at Glebe... ok I have seen a banner out the front saying 'best pub bistro' or something like that...well... I take no notice of that 'fluff' until I experience the establishment myself ! Ok I walked in and was greeted by a pleasant barmaid who served me a lemonade (atm I am a teetoller) and I went to the back of the pub and I felt Iike I was walking into a classy restaurant ! I ordered the fettachini with a king prawn and tomato herb sauce and after waiting for 20 min I asked the waiter what was happening...the order got lost but now he was on to it ( he was very pleasant)...ok I received the meal and in a nutshell it was brilliant ( fresh Australian king prawns) in a thick bacon and tomato sauce...very impressed with the meal ( I have eaten at the best restaurants here and overseas) ...hey this is a 'pub' and this meal was up there with the best of them...definitely will go back (hopefully with some guests next time)...a great dining experience!
