we stopped by for a cool beer and tasty pizza. we were not disappointed. great location and quiet in the early part of the evening. Returned in Feb 2022... Still the same friendly crew and when I left my wallet on the table the lovely Nicole phoned me and kept it safe till s collected it... all cash in tact... Lovely patrons there as well ! xxx

Great place, very nice staff and it has a great atmosphere. There is ample seating and can accommodate small or large groups. Their Menü is very nice, a wide range of food and drink, I particularly liked their pizzas, although I did question the breakfast pizza that others enjoyed but I did not take a shine too. They are in a great location and I would both recommend and go again.

Reasonable price, good food in a great location. Dropped in for lunch and found reasonably priced good food - pizzas, salads, pretty standard Australian pub food. All very well done, reasonably sized and considering the amazing location, pretty cheap. They also have a lot of weekday lunch specials of you want to stretch your day further, and there is outdoor seating if you want to take in the view (once the light rail is finally built)

The Ship Inn was a really lovely Pub I went to visit. I had been around the area working as a face painter and absolutely loved this place. A really nice outdoor area where you can sit and relax with a nice drink and a bite to eat. Nice views of the street also. And right opposite the trains and rivercat. A very atmospheric pub🤣🤩

Popped in for a couple and a quick punt. Place looks nice and is right by Circular Quay station. Prices are fair enough considering the city (About a 20-40% mark up on more Inner West regions) but that's expected. Staff were helpful and friendly. Locals are up themselves and will push in line if you aren't assertive

Great place for a meal. This hotel has been updated and is a lovely convenient place being on the strip at Circular. Quay. There are many food venues nearby but this is the pick. Good menu,reasonable prices and they have food specials most days. We had a pizza and it was tops. The staff are very obliging and service is quick. A very well managed hotel and excellent food.

Good pub and reasonable prices considering its proximity to circular quay. Young but experienced bar staff catering to a diverse range of patrons including but not limited to: tourists (me) locals, performers, backpackers and a travelling troupe of grey nomad folk singers who were raucously reciting their cover songs drowning out the jukebox. Food looked elegant and tasty too but will have to try next time in Sydney.

It is quite a nice location, nice place with the expected prices. I've ordered the vegan polenta chips a few times and they're fairly disappointing - not so much chips as briefly moulded polenta that will return to its granular form the second you pick one up.

Very stock standard bar. Not much to it. Very simple by design however this can be a very good thing depending on your preference of setting. Tables are all very well spaced and there is plenty of room in the bar, you never feel like you are cramped even when it gets busy. This is a very underrated thing given most bars in Sydney.

Just down from Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay (see my review: "Location, location, location"), Ship Inn became our go-to place to eat in the evening. The pizzas were delicious, and the 2-for-1 deal on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. was unbeatable. We shared a Marco Pollo pizza (Cajun chicken with carmelized onion) and a Papa Grande pizza (ham, salami, mushrooms and red onion). I had my first Victoria Bitter and Crown Lager beers here as well.

Ship Inn. Good food and great staff. The place has lost its view due to the on-going tram works but the kitchen still serves good food and the bar staff rock. Always helpful and know how to serve a beer.

Its a bit of a weird one this pub, and I like to call it a transit stop. This is one of those places where you meet people for a quick one, then move onto somewhere else. It is great in the summer because you can sit outside, however the smokers tend to ruin the harbour breeze. It is also in a very public and busy area with both people and traffic so it isn't exactly a relaxing spot. They have a couple of boutique beers, and the wine is meh. I think they leave the bottles open too long. Cocktails are available, but I haven't bothered trying them. Food is normal pub grub. Staff: 10/10 always friendly and nice, even the door dude cracks the odd smile Atmosphere: 6/10. Neither here nor there. I can't say anything bad or good about it. Just your normal average modernish space. Chairs: 9/10: comfy enough Note: it is very close to circular quay wharf which makes it an ideal meeting place.

Considering its location in a prime tourist area this pub remains a good choice for getting traditionally stewed. Heavy on the sports and like many others gambling, it nonetheless is a safe venue for getting together with friends.

This place could be much better and would certainly get the custom being located where it is, if it wasn't for the fact that it has no real character. It is obviously a historical place, but all of the old world features and style has been ripped out and replaced with non-descript wood and chrome features. Not overly cheap either either.

A standard bar with sticky floors. Nothing wrong with it, but you wait in line, it's typically loud, etc. There are so many options that are more interesting within walking distance - this only really fits the bill if you're needing to catch a train and want a quick pint.

In one of the handiest locations in Sydney for ferry travellers or those looking for a cheap and cheerful springboard for a good night out in The Rocks. Drinks are cheap and not too foul, the atmosphere relaxed and the grub well priced - especially the pizzas. I frequently drop in if I "accidentally" miss the ferry and seldom leave with an empty wallet, unlike most bars in Sydney.
