Food was fresh and delicious and cocktails were amazing. However, the food was definitely overpriced for the portions and atmosphere. I don’t mind grungy or rustic or classic tav places places but outside felt dingy and dirty and needs new flooring (timber deck?) and a good pressure wash and the smokers area (if they were in it) was way too close to where everyone was sitting. Meals were $23+ plus $5 on top for chips (!!) and I didn’t get much squid and for that price you expect a clean venue.

Food is excellent! We got beer Battered barramundi and rump steak and it was so nice and perfectly cooked. But the bar looks old and outside dining lots of fallen leaves that makes the surrounding dirty. Lots of flys made us uncomfortable eating in the table. But I enjoy the food. I would love to come back and hope to see nice ambiance.

Friendly, country atmosphere and nice beer garden. Outdoor live music is a big bonus. Staff are friendly and parking is easy.

Firstly the menu attached is not the one you get there. Ordered what was presented as a mushroom burger - im thinking an actual mushroom but it was a mushroom pattie that had other stuff that I couldn't figure out in it. Sat outside, very dirty and swamped by flies as used tables where left unclean with food etc spilt on them. Might try again after holidays - I understand this is a busy time. My son loved his pizza.

Ordered takeaway which was quite good, but was told I couldn’t use a “Dine & Discover” voucher unless we dined in. Maybe management/staff should read conditions of use on the Service NSW site!!!

Went to Old Bar Tavern for dinner with my folks. The place was down to earth as ever and had a huge crowd in full swing. The food was great. We ordered chilli prawns and two roast pork specials. it was the end of dinner service in a bistro style kitchen yet this is what we got (see pics). Even the sweet potato (which I don’t like much) was seasoned to taste great. My mum who complains about everything said hers was great. Someone in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing! Beer was crypt cold and as crisp as a Malcolm Turnbull comeback. Gordon Ramsay would give this five stars, thus so must I!

This place is amazing, Stephen and the team are so welcoming, the rooms are totally unexpected unless you look at the Web site before hand. The meals are good but the breakfast roll is the best I have ever had. Well worth a stop over.

Unfortunately didn't get any pictures, though the pizza's were really good, service was fast. Beer was cold. Made for a good Saturday arvo. The addition of playground was perfect for our kid. Will definitely be back for another go.

Disappointed that staff at the tavern aren’t sticking to the covid laws around checking evidence of people being double vaxxed and no one seemed to care. Food was nice but small portions for the price and tav felt a bit rundown.

Old Bar Happy Crafters Old Bar held a birthday today for 20 ladies for our great Lizzy, the food was beautifully presented and tasty and the Staff so friendly and efficient could not do enough for us. Highly recommended Thank you all at the Old Bar Tavern.

The local pub outside the local town with a decent backyard. I thought it was some sort of singing or vocal challenge with the microphone and the music was terrible. Food was mostly great, bathrooms were clean and parking was of ease at the entry of the pub. Stop by, support locals needing a job.

They don't welcome "out of towners" as we were told not to come back after Jan 1 because of covid restrictions. Not sure what those are but there are other places in town where you are welcome. Food is quite good though

This bottle shop is MEAN! Only place in the area that has 10 pack Double Jacks And that makes me happy. I also ask the staff annoying time consuming questions that they happily go about answering so for that.. 5 STARS!!

I was sitting with my mates when a bloke named curley wurley showed up, and shouted us all drinks for the rest of the night. This absolute machine floped his Willy on the table after sculling 2 schooners, shouted up the bum no babies before getting kicked out by the very dilligent staff. Good music too.

A nice cosy place. Beers were cheap. Raffles on a Friday night. We went for dinner at the attached Chinese restaurant. Plate sizes were big and cost effective. We shared 7 plates among 10 people. Afterwards we put a couple of dollars in the pokies to finish off a great night.
