Nice place great decor love the exposed brick and natural floor boards. Small à la carte menu and small selection of beers. The food was good and steak was cooked slightly under what was requested. The staff were great very friendly and helpful with great service provided by all staff members who we interacted with. All in all a pleasant experience.
M. P.
Had the pleasure of dining in this uniquely decorated charming restaurant. Service was excellent and personalised. Food was delicious, tastes were well balanced and wine pairings made the entire experience unforgettable! Will definitely recommend!

We had a lovely mid-week dinner for so many reasons!
Firstly, a cool and unique venue with amazing curiosities that keep your eyes darting around and admiring the period interior and intricate tiling.
Secondly, the food is just great - a lovely and varied menu with something for everyone.
Thirdly, friendly and attentive service made our night hassle free and enjoyable.
Perfect!

We went here for our anniversary and the reputation lived up to the hype.
We opted for the chef 5 dinner mystery option and each meal was better than the previous.
Amazing food, fine dining and a luxurious ambiance makes this a great place for a more important milestone or just a fine night out. Highly recommended !😁

I had always walked past and always wondered what they had to offer. After checking out the website I knew I had to make a booking. Small intimate area with only 5 tables but enough space for a private dinner. We chose the 5 course chef selection with paired wines. What a wonderful experience! Food was incredible and wines were amazing. Service was impeccable I didn't have to lift a finger. The cabbage starter was my favourite followed by the steak. We will definitely be back!!
J. K.
+ Great atmosphere, setting and decorations. Most food tasted awesome.
- Empty plates were on the table too long, we were constantly having empty glasses and meat was overcooked. We noticed staff preparing for the next day, while we, for example, wanted to order drinks. This changed as soon as the manager came on the floor.
C. H.
Excellent experience and they accommodated for gluten free and seafood free diets. Suggest the Chef’s Preference 4 Course for the best value for money if there’s two of you dining! So much food for $65 PP we didn’t even have room for desert. Great service and cool atmosphere in the basement.
M. S.
Absolutely brilliant experience. Food was 1st class, our waiter was absolutely brilliant ; very knowledgeable, beautiful person and funny. I've never experienced anything like this before and would highly reccomend the experience. Thankyou for a great night.6 stars!⭐

Came here on a short visit to Adelaide during the winter. Intimate setting decorated to look like an apothecary. Personalized service right from the start. We had the 6 course menu with wine pairing.. very generous portions on offer and they also catered for my partners pescatarian diet. The food was absolutely delicious and the total experience well worth it. We recommend this place 100 percent.
S. B.
Beautiful hidden bar, decor is perfect, extensive range of alcohol. The place for a nice quiet drink in the heart of Hindley Street. The underground cellar looks intriguing, to be explored on the next visit.
What didnt sit with me was the senior staff member taking a video of a young teenage girl vomitting out on the footpath, not sure if she even got her permission and then the same staff member thought it was her right to ask a group of males laughing and having a good time to move along away from the front ofthe establishment. Not cool.
Same employee did not have any hospitality and was rather rude in her service delivery, perhaps my friend and I were not dressed adequately for the establishment but our money is still valid.

Great atmosphere, really good food and awesome service! We really enjoyed the experience at Apoteca and will return for sure. Their wine list is pretty good. We decided to go with the chef menu and everything was really tasty.

Called into the Apothecary on a Tuesday evening after a work function. The food was incredible. I had the beef cheek which was melt in the mouth delicious. We then all had cocktails. Mine was a 'Mexican Sunrise' and it was superb. Everyone else enjoyed their food and drinks. My bill came to about $100 with two drinks and a main. The atmosphere was really lovely.
I.
Over all good dining experience for vegans
In detail, when we arrived, the front section was empty, stood waiting for 5 minutes, we were placed away from other guests so it was a bit quiet. The interior isbeautiful with comfortable seating imo
However we got very short and annoyed-at-us-for-being-customers service, male waiter was kind though
The food was fantastic, we had the vegan chefs tasting menu (6 courses, $65pp) and it really was fabulous. It focused on veggies and letting the veggie keep its flavour with beautiful sauces and seasonings, filling too!
But when we were waiting for our dessert, we asked how far off, the female waitress told us they didn't have a vegan dessert, she was apologetic but it was not taken off the bill and we weren't told? Just left waiting for half an hour :/
Partner enjoyed his cocktails too haha

The Good: service, food and fitout. The bad: bread, $9 sparkling water. The ugly: location at the grubby end of Hindley Street.
Meals where nice but vegetarians will may struggle with mains (all meat proteins). Bread was boring (white French stick). Wine list was good and overall We enjoyed our experience.
It’s been there for 20 years so it doing something right!
Recommend if You are staying/working nearby. Good for date night.

Really great dinner at Apoteca. Overall the food was delicious!
Pork belly bits: essentially braised pork belly with a bit of chilli - super tender and yummy!
Smoked chicken thigh: wow so smoky and so tender! Great dish.
Grilled octopus: can't fault it 🤤🤤.
Eggplant: very smooth texture but slightly bland.
Cauliflower: kind of like a parmigiana! Very interesting!
Fried potatoes: can't go wrong with this.
Dessert: brownie with essentially a peanut butter semifreddo - quite tasty!
N. R.
From the atmosphere, to the food and service every element makes one feel delighted. The food is amazing and makes one understand the meaning of 'indulgence'.
A. H.
Apothecary has a very lengthy wine list for wine connoisseurs. Staff are friendly and attentive. While food is good, the focus is definitely on the wine!
J. H.
Had our anniversary dinner here tonight, we were met with wonderful staff and service, amazing food (we recommend the chefs selection of 6), wonderful wine and a romantic atmosphere. You can visit for food, food and wine or just wine. Tonight we were served with an oven roasted steak and honest to God it was the best piece of meat I’ve had in my life! Thanks you to the Chef and staff at Apothecary for making our night so special!
d. g.
Beautiful place. Building appears to be an old pharmacy and is decorated as such. Huge selection of drinks and great food. Must visit
A. C.
Service and wines are great! starters were great, not impressed with mains, but great spot for a drink with friends or for a date!
C. W.
Wow what an experience!! The food was amazing!! Along with the wines them at were recommended by our waiter. The venue was beautifully dressed and no expense spared. We will definitely be back!
M. M.
For 17 years the iconic Apothecary has remained relevant. Now it's Apoteca and it's as beautiful as ever, just bigger - With a new courtyard to enjoy. Great space, superb service & proper hospitality
M. D.
Very much worth visiting this place; the food is delicious, though unfortunately the protein selection lacked anything vegetarian. I didn't go hungry though, as the was plenty in other parts of the menu and it was all lovely! The wine selection is great and the options for wines by the glass include many different volumes, something that is common in Europe but very rare in Australia. So brilliant when dining alone to be able to order exactly as much as you want rather than having to commit to a whole bottle! Can't wait to come back with more people to try more of the share plates and the very tempting cheese selection.
J. W.
Beautiful restaurant! Food was so delicious and service was impeccable. Thankyou for a lovely evening
G. K.
great restaurant and you definitely wont leave hungry. Food was great the service was great - we left mst of our choices upto Jake our waiter and he was spot on for food , gin , wine by the glass and dessert - will definitely go back.
K. P.
Unfathomably good. I enjoyed a wonderful 4-course meal accompanied with a lovely selection of wines, excellent table service and topped off with an pleasurable atmosphere. I would go out of my way to have another dining experience here.
N. B.
A perfect choice for a special birthday celebration. Our group of 20 were treated to a superb 4 course set menu with high quality wines, wonderful ambience in a semi private room in the cellar and attentive service. Highly recommended.
R. H.
Great food, staff and ambiance. Intimate, friendly and a little quirky. Very extensive wine and drinks compendium. Staff with knowledge to assist with drink selection without being pretentious.
D. N.
Really gorgeous food, was debating with my gastronomic companions as to what was our fav dish, I love the chicken liver pate, and the portobello mushroom with gruyere cheese, a must try.
L. H.
Really nice place for a work dinner with a group of 10 or so. The chef’s tasting menu was fantastic! Had the roast pumpkin, ocean trout salad, poussin and steak. All were fantastic! Atmosphere was enjoyable and quiet enough to hear conversations.
T. C.
Unforunately the food didn't meet the quality we'd hoped for in flavour, quality of produce or balance in seasoning. The space is lovely, bad night in the kitchen perhaps?
S. L.
Had my birthday party here , was real nice room. Staff lovely. I missed out on my canapes they got eaten far to fast lol. Guests loved them, especially the Yorkshire puds.
W. K.
This place is unreal, Food was 10/10, service was 9/10 and everything else was 9/10.
I would definitely go back.
J. K.
Did I have a good night. Yes.
Was my expectations met. No.
Did the meat eater like their meals. Yes.
Did the vegetarians. No.
Was the wine great. Yes.
I'd suggest going a la carte but taking wine recommendations from the lovely wine lady.
M. M.
Disappointing.
After reading many excellent reviews, I booked for a special anniversary dinner and sadly was underwhelmed.... The degustation menu lacked imagination, one of the meat dishes was tough and served just warm and the wine selection was presented with very little information.
For such a lovely space, I truly hope they improve.
A. L.
Nice atmosphere, great selection of drinks, staff very attentive. A bit disappointed that my Tequila based Margarita type cocktail was in a sugar not salt rimmed glass.
N. S.
I ordered the kingfish Ceviche. It was wonderful. As an extremely frequent traveler for work and after just having spent 5 days on Hamilton Island the Kingfish was much better and much more carefully prepared and presented. This was my second time here... I will be bringing my work colleague's here for dinner.
G. H.
Have been wanting to come here for some time, and finally made it tonight. Not disappointed. Had the chef's 4 course selection. Everything balanced and full of flavour. Great selection of wines to go with the food. Lovely old building and environment, and great service. Look forward to our next visit again soon.
R. H.
Just dropped in for a drink to get away from the madness that is Hindley street on a Saturday night. As it looked a little up market we expected drink prices to be high, happy to confirm that they were inline with most others in the area.
Service was the high point, this place is full on service. Sat at a table for 4 we were given a large cooled bottle of water and 4 glasses that basically never got below half empty before the waiter filled them. Drinks were good and we will be back.
Well done guys.
M. R.
It’s a nice place with a huge range of drinks. Staff are polite and helpful. I don’t need to mention about their design, just check the pictures.
R. M.
It literally worth it , you get what you pay for , best food , excellent customer service👍
s.
Great food, excellent service in a unique atmosphere
S. W.
Great grazing, tremendous spirit and wine range to choose from, decor is out of this world, charming apothecary from yesteryear, staff are gods!
B. B.
I went to Apoteca with 9 other guests and we were located in the basement room. We really enjoyed the food and drinks and especially loved the ceviche. We had 5 course degustation menu which comprised of starters, 3 mains and a desert. We were sufficiently full at the end and wouldn’t have changed anything about the menu! The staff were very friendly however had some communication issues regarding our drinks. I would recommend this place for a lovely dinner out in Adelaide!
N.
Lovely quiet spot. Professional service, extensive drinks menu.
M. D.
great atmosphere and fantastic service from the table staff. Good wine list. Unfortunately the food itself was awful. Poorly cooked and no presentation whatsoever. A new chef would make this place a 5 star establishment.
K. K.
We recently celebrated my wife's birthday here. We both absolutely loved it! We had the 'complete chef dining experience' which was a feast. The food was delicious and beautifully presented in a timely manner. The atmosphere was great and the staff couldn't do enough for us - very professional yet friendly and courteous. Thoroughly recommended!
G.
Me and Stefano had the best dining experience. Amazing home-made pasta, delicious dessert, very good wine and great atmosphere. The service was perfect, Paola was very welcoming and nice. Can't wait to go back 😊
W. N.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. This place is definitely a great place to try. Food is expensive but tasted delicious.
G. B.
Love the venue staff excellent food good.
J. T.
Stumbled upon this little gem. Great place for a late night drink and to people-watch all the characters on Hindley street. Pours a bit pricey but you expect that given the location. Service was great.
D. B.
We had the vegetarian 6 course with matching wine thing. Was really good. I really needed to have worked out twice that day, and consistently the week before to fully enjoy it though haha - was a lot of food.
Next time I'd probably just get a meal and dessert and wine.
Was a great experience, excellent staff and venue and food, expensive but great.
T. O.
Amazing food and an excellent wine list. This restaurant is supported by a very friendly and welcoming team, who all provide great customer service. Thank you Apoteca!
D. &. L.
We chose the 4 course Chefs selection.
The flavours were there, however the dishes chef chose for us lacked a freshness that would have elevated the experience.
We were left somewhat surprised that from the items available on the menu, he or she chose to serve Lamb Shoulder as dish 3, then backed it up with Striploin for dish 4; two red meat dishes probably wasn't the best call.
If chef at least added a salad or some greens the courses wouldn't have felt so heavy and one dimensional.
On the flip side, venue was cool and wait staff super attentive and friendly.
L. D.
Professional yet very, very friendly service and the food on the 6 course tasting menu provided good variety and was in an awesome order to stimulate the taste buds. The dessert was something we were very happy with, did not expect something as simple as chocolate cake to be so good, it was baked perfectly soft and hot. Has an extensive wine list. The decor really stands out and the place is actually much bigger than it looks on the outside with a function room downstairs.
T. C.
Great food and service. We had the 5 course chefs selection with wine pairings. Highly recommended.
A. T. (.
Love this place! 30+ page drinks list with some really original and beautiful cocktails, delicate and delicious food with amazing presentation and flavour combinations, and the nose decadent chocolate cake I've ever had. I've been for cocktails a few times, one just tonight for dinner, and need to come back again for cheese and wine.
The staff are really welcoming and personable with fantastic product knowledge, the atmosphere is cosy and quiet for conversation, and I just love it here.
L. N.
Tonight I experienced one of the most memorable culinary experiences. My taste buds were dancing to the exquisitely prepared melting beef cheeks. I am looking forward to going back soon to indulge in the highly recommended pork dish on menu.
L. F.
A very cozy style of restaurant with a wonderful menu and wine list. Highly recommended
M. R.
Interesting place with even more interesting wines and dishes. A little pretentious but unashamedly so, this place seems great for a meal out with friends you like! A little expensive but still good value as the wines and dishes are well thought through and a little off beat which makes this a dinner with friends you will remember.
M. S.
Brilliant time wonderful people excellent food couldn't of asked for the best
M. C. S.
Yeah I had a mad good feed here ay. Tapas was on point and the Pork Tomahawk was mouth watering. Also some interesting non alcoholic wines for the teetotallers. Would recommend.
M. S.
Beautiful service and food. Portions are generous and food is well presented. We were impressed with the decor of this restaurant, must go to place if you are in Adelaide.

Updated Jan. 2020 - Another fabulous dinner at Apoteca (formerly Apothecary 1878, but thankfully still with the same management). This place never fails to deliver. From the efficient email booking for a group, to the greeting on arrival, to the enthusiastic and knowledgeable service staff, to the excellent, interestinging food and the adventurous wine list. Apoteca is an Adelaide gem, and Paola is an Adelaide dining stalwart. Great for a glass of wine & antipasti or a full meal, the attention to detail is excellent. I've taken both local and international visitors here and Apoteca always impresses. I wish I could pick the whole place up and take it lock, stock & barrel home to Brisbane with me. There's a thing or two this place could teach the Brisbane restaurant scene about proper hospitality. Thank you Apoteca team!
Previous review from 3 years ago:
Meals at the Apothecary 1878 have always been exceptional. The Chef's are outstanding. I usually prefer to choose a tasting menu and just let the Chef surprise me with their choices. I've never been disappointed. Paola and the front of house crew are fabulously knowledgeable and are always ready with a suggestion for a great wine from the extensive local & imported wine list. It's one of my favourite Adelaide restaurants.
L. L.
First time in Adelaide and found this place on Google - so happy we did! Every dish was so surpringly tasty that we felt the need to gush about it - definite compliments to the chef! The decor is very cool and cozy too. Extraordinary food, service and setting - worth every star! Highly recommended as one the nicest restaurants we've dined at in a long while. Thanks for a perfect evening and we hope to come back soon xo
A. N. G.
This is a lovely restaurant and bar in a beautiful old building. The decor is very interesting, keeping with the old apothecary vibe. Staff are very friendly and served an excellent meal.
We had the four course tasting menu which was very good. They catered to our various dietary requirements and ensured we had some pork belly as part of the tasting menu on request.
We treated ourselves to the dessert with pistachio which was delicious. An excellent and broad selection of wines, some of which are organic.
Definitely a place to add to your list while in Adelaide!
t.
We were treated with excellent service and delicious food. The vegan was well catered for. The staff were conscious of our theatre booking and made sure we were not left to linger. A definate revisit.
The stylish decor is a sharp contrast to the neighbourhood.
S. W.
Really lovely banquet menu, our first 4 courses were seafood though so avoid if you aren't a seafood fan.. Lobster tail and scallops were amazing. Main of the lamb was perfectly cooked, cocktails were great and knowledgeable bar staff who could make a recommendation if you wanted to try something different.
M. B.
A nice venue with friendly staff. It has a nice ambiance and the food is good. I enjoyed a pleasant evening here with friends drinking red wine. The only downside is that some of the nearby establishments are a little "seedy".
J.
Lovely place. Great food with reasonable prize. Brilliant service. We came in pretty late on last Saturday night for dinner. After some interesting lousy fastfood shops, you walk into a 1920's scene with classic setting: leather lounge, marble tables and big mirrors. Food is amazing. We ordered roast duck and steak. Every mouthful is satisfying. Service is great, the lovely waiter (I didn't ask for his name!) gave us great suggestion on winery around McLarent Vale and it turned out perfect. Highly recommend.
J. E.
Amazing place. Can't believe I have not discovered it before. Fantastic range of food, share and individual dishes and an amazing array of gins and other speciality spirits as well as huge wine range. Staff so friendly. The atmosphere is so quaint. Wonderful experience. 🥂
M. M.
Beautiful food. We chose the chef complete option and couldn't have been happier with the selection.
The ambiance was lovely. Soft jazz music, attentive waiter and a history lesson on the walls.
F. D.
It is a beautiful place. The food is good, but I never quite enjoy it as much as I would like for what they charge. It is not ridiculously expensive but it could be somehow more of something. I can't really pinpoint the problem.
Sorry
Please enjoy and try it for yourself. Maybe I'm just to barrow minded and don't understand the food ;)
k.
Really enjoyed the visit here. A very classy and calm atmosphere. I loved the layout. Only the ground level was operating when we visited but they let me check out the other 2 levels as well. Huge collection of wine on the lower level. Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and chatty. Would come back in a heart beat.
C.
This is one of my most favourite places in Adelaide. The atmosphere is really nice it's relaxing and intimate, the service is amazing. There's a selection of drinks (38pg drinks menu) to chose from: wine, cocktails, liqours and spirits. They have French, Spanish and Italian wines, there's sharing plates of cheese boards and tapas, all delicious and they go well with a glass of red. A perfect place for wine lovers.
D.
Posh setting with an old school pharmaceutical charm, decor and decorations fit to match. Portions are tapa sized and nothing substantial, but are nicely made and pretty yum. Waitress got one of the dishes wrong, but was quick to replace it and offer the existing one for free as an apology, service is therefore top notch. Amazing selection of wine and good selection of beer.

Highlight of our recent trip to Adelaide! The family decided to go to Apothecary 1878 last Sunday Night (as lots of other places suggested to us were closed in the city) and I am so glad because we were highly impressed! The menu was so tempting and we couldn't decide, so our amazing waiter Duncan offered the Chef's tasting menu (4 courses) for an extremely well priced $58pp!! We also had two young children with us... there was no children's menu BUT that was no issue, Duncan spoke to the Chef who offered to make a special order of battered Mulloway fish fingers paired with the roast potatoes - the fish was cooked to perfection, potatoes were crunchy but soft inside and absolutely delicious! Our first course arrived the Sicilian olives were delicious and the bread crusty... the flavors in the dish of mixed green and Edamame beans with oyster mushrooms worked perfectly together! The next dish of ceviche, juicy mulloway and jalepenos was full of delicious spices... I was excited to see the next dish of Pork Belly arrive to the table (I am a huge fan of Pork Belly but find many places never hit the marks on the score card!) However... the chef Nailed it! Crispy skin, tender meat and the flavors with the sauce and smoked polenta took my taste buds on a magical journey! We shared the striploin and it was perfection with a couple of other sides that I couldn't fault... I could go on for hours about the interactions we had with Duncan who made the experience so enjoyable! How many starts? Definitely 11/10... Almost forgot to mention that the wine list is extensive and very impressive... oh and you must try the home made chocolates! Thank you once again for the memorable evening!
R. S.
Good but a bit pricey. The food was great but some improvement on the wine. Sides are big but the mains do ask for a side dish. So better to share some sides with the rest of the table.
S. T.
I checked through the reviews online which lead me to believe this was one of Adelaide’s great restaurants, sadly these people were mistaken. Although the meals were cooked well they were missing the fine dining touch. Spring onion and raddish were used as garnishes on three of our dishes, the place clearly needs a revamp and a new menu.
G. W.
Did not quite live up to expectations or potential unfortunately. Fantastic interior, and the food was tasty however the wait staff did not seem confident in describing or discussing the food they were serving, and the mish mash of soul to techno music didn't work with the old school decor. Probably wouldn't return.
L. S.
Delightful service that involved thoughtful presentation and storytelling. Our 4 course set menu was both delicious and filling for 4 people. The creamy, lemon-infused mashed potato, crunchy rosemary potato, and pork crackling were winners. I highly suggest mixing the homemade ricotta with the local bread. The vegetarian in our group was given 4 courses like roasted cauliflower that equally excited the senses. I was slightly sad we weren't seated in the atmospheric cellar but still got a peek down there. It is not cheap but if you are looking to treat yourself and friends then this is a great place to have dinner.
A. T.
The service and dining experience was great, the venue was awesome and the staff amazing. We got the chefs tasting menu and can honestly say the food was merely ok... if concidering value for money it was good, but I have experienced far better for a slightly higher price tag...
C. S.
It's been around a long time but fallen of the radar as a restaurant. Downstairs is great but upstairs in the charming bar is less cluttered and set with French bistro tables and chairs and they still serve the full menu. The service was amazing, the drinks list is amazing!!!
Great escargot
Great mini lobster tails
Great soya beans & spec
Magnifique!

VALENTINES DAY 5 COURSE DINNER.
in one Word..... Unique. In a more definitive explanation, each Food Course was Attractively appealing and the Tastebuds were not disappointed at all. Super Delicious and Attractive. 10/10
The Staff were absolutely attentive from beginning to end and always informative, knowledgeable and Friendly. 10/10
The Atmosphere and Lighting was so, so Romantic, Relaxing and somehow made you feel like youd escaped the rush of Life outside in our everyday World. Not cheap but absolutely worth every dollar in every way. The Food, The Service and Atmosphere is the best we've experienced. A Credit to you all.
We'll be back again
K. L.
Amazing place to host a function, if you're thinking about it I highly recommend. Amazing service, atmosphere, everyone was in awe!
Thank you!
I. W.
Sophisticated eatery in restored old pharmacy. Dining is downstairs and quiet.. but incredibly poorly lit (or it that just me getting old and needing to use flashlight on iPhone!)
Menu is interesting and caters for vegetarians. Waitstaff are a bit formal / stuffy but otherwise a good experience.. Also has a bar upstairs
L. D.
The tasting menu is always reliable, with fresh ingredients; wines are excellent; service is awesome. Not cheap but worth the investment.
B.
Perfect! No other way to describe the ambiance, hospitality and pricing. This is by far the most interesting bar and restaurant in Adelaide. If you are adventurous and in need of a quiet night out somewhere really different then this is the place!
C. S.
Amazing!
T. G.
Love the vibe of this place! Cute little wine bar with a huge range of wines and spirits, moderately large range of bottled local beers from South Australia and Victoria. Smooth jazz, ambient lighting and a rich history of a classic 19th Century pharmacy are to be expected here.
D. C.
Absolutely amazing! Rarely if ever would i give a five star rating but this place deserves it. I made a reservation for an anniversary dinner. My girlfriends and I were greeted promptly, taken to our table downstairs or 'the grotto' as i nicknamed it. The atmosphere was serene, cosy and warm. The staff were very friendly and proffessional without lingering too much and letting us enjoy our meal. The entree came promptly, Chargrilled prawns with yoghurt curd, white anchovy and herbs. They were delightful! So nice in fact that four prawns just wasnt enough, a couple more would have been easier to share but probably would have detracted from the beautiful presentation of the dish. Our mains took a while to arrive (maybe 30mins) following the entree but it let us enjoy the atmosphere, chat and savor our wine. When the mains arrived it was well worth the wait. I had the Chargrilled scotch fillet with creamed leek & gorgonzola butter, which was spectacular, so nice that i was almost disappointed to have finished My girlfriend had the Roasted pork loin with baked black pudding and autumn fruits, which was eaqually amazing. Overall: Service was great, Atmosphere was beautiful, Food was spectacular and the price was quite modest considering the quality. I Highly Recommend this restaurant.
R. N.
This place is a little hidden gem on Hindley Street in the midst of all the pubs, bars and sheesha places. The decor and settings are really classy without being over the top. Paula had looked after us and was also able to give us some good recommendations on the drinks menu. If you are celebrating a special night out and want to have a bit of fun, definitely try the Absinthe! They serve it the traditional Neue Bohemian style.
R. G.
Not the same sophisticated but relaxed atmosphere it used to be but still very charming. Certain areas now off limits. Not as hospitable as previously experienced.
S. J.
Birthday dinner. Great good, excellent wine. About 2.5+hours for the larger tasting menu so take your time, you will be full. We were.
M. D.
We had a great meal down in the amazing cellar - loved it
N. E.
One of the best dining experiences I ever had, all thanks to Paola and her team! The food was delicious, services was outstanding and Paola was a beautiful angel who recommended the best places around! PD wer are loving Glever Little Tailor now.
J. F.
Great atmosphere and nod to Adelaide's history. Imaginative food and excellent service. Impressive wine list too
M. M.
We enjoyed a 6 course tasting menu for 4ppl. Lovely food, great wine matching, and most importantly great staff, the key to any great establishment. A real winner.
J. T.
Delicious! Such a light but filling dishes with lots and lots of fresh green herbs, olive oil, salt, garlic....
Must try any of the salads! So fresh!
Will definitely go back!! 🌱🍀🌿☘️🍃🍀🌿
Yum! 👌🏼
J. R.
Had such a lovely experience at the Apothecary for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. Had the vegan Degustation and oh my goodness! Delicious!!
5 star service and 5 star food.

Attended a group dinner of 8 people, set course menu. 7:15 booking but 8:00 before first course. Nearly 11:00 before we left! Great food, but too slow. Basement is a cool area I wish we’d reserved.
