Wow a magnificent restaurant on the south coast of the fleurieu peninsula. We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate a very special occasion. This restaurant ticks the boxes , great staff , awesome ambience, superb quality food.. definitely will be my go to restaurant next time I’m in the area Highly recommended

High end restaurant with the most lovely vibes and they clearly take alot of pride in the business. You can taste, feel and see the passion and effort the Head Chef puts into his work. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel very warm and comfortable in the environment. The service is as good as you could ask for (Mark even took a photo for us). The top shelf food, wine, and service is well worth every cent. Meals delivered in perfect timing i really cant fault this award winning restraunt. If you want to make your lady happy i recommend The Blues over anywhere on the south coast by far!

Enjoyed a dinner at Blues on a Saturday evening with family who had joined us for the weekend. The restaurant is nicely decorated, light and breezy with comfortable chairs and good sized tables. Patrons are well spaced. Our meal was delightful. I chose the vegan option, my partner the gnocchi, our guests the barramundi and the pork. All meals were beautifully presented and beautifully cooked and prepared as well as tasty with well sized portions. Service was excellent. We booked for 6.30pm forgetting the Crows were playing their first match for the season with the game finishing closer to 7pm, called ahead to say we would be 30 minutes later and there were no issues. We opted for dessert after the main and these were delicious also. We will be returning regularly as we find Blues is an excellent spot for a delicious meal in comfortable and delightful surroundings. Will return again in the cooler months hoping to get a spot in front of the fire. Highly recommend this spot for a night out.

Really great restaurant tucked away at Middleton. Had melt in your mouth Venison and perfectly cooked Snapper. Would recommend ordering a side to extent main a little. Pretty busy for a Wednesday night. Perfect place to take your time and saviour every mouthful. Good wine list - attentive friendly staff. Nice beachy presentation, but could get a bit noisy if restaurant is full. Excellent all round - we will be back. Oh, booking is essential.

Lovely, romantic and fantastic service. I have been several times and consider it one of the best places to eat for a couple. I have always been lucky enough to find a quiet spot, next to the fire in winter is incredible. The car park can be a bit dark on leaving I found.. lol

A great meal and friendly service. If I had one complaint it would be the noise, it isn't overwhelming, and it was a busy night, but it's quite loud. The meal was fantastic, we both had the beef fillet, which was cooked perfectly, served with a goats cheese and rocket mix, roasted potatoes, grilled smokey cherry tomatoes, grilled asparagus, and a stroke of genius, a pork reduction as the gravy, which was basically "essence of roast pig", and was delightful without overpowering the beef flavour. We could have used a steak knife, as this was real beef, with a flavour and chew that was outstanding, not fall apart buttery beef, which seems to be everywhere. The staff were accomodating and very friendly, the selection of wines and beer was good, and the Panna Cotta desert with a glass of local sticky was perfect. Such a gamble sometimes going to an 'on site' restaurant, but this one stands well on it's own, and if you are staying at the beach huts as we were, it's a massive bonus. Be sure and book though, it was busy for an out of season Saturday night, with a full carpark, and a number of tables celebrating birthdays ! We wouldn't hesitate to have another meal there next time we are in or around Middleton.

Family wedding. Stunning grounds and venue. Lots to look at, with nooks and crannies for private conversations or quiet time with little children, dance floor, well equipped bar and easily accessible clean bathrooms with extra touches too( hairspray, nail file, panadol and feminine products etc incase you need them ...nice touch). Staff were great and services was quick. Accommodation on site as well so no need to appoint a designated driver.
