Best Burger ever in Australia! But that is not main reason for 5 star! We had an accident in the restaurant but all staff especially their manager on that time( early March 2022) was very helpful and emphatic. I think her name is Kirra! Thank you all for good food, great vibes and beautiful souls 🤗

If I take the experience at face value, I should be harsher on this place. That being said, everyone has a bad night and I did see potential. + Great burger - ordered B&B Burger + Chips and onion rings were good + Server was very attentive and friendly + Cool vibe/atmosphere - Ignored by a staff member at entrance who seemed to go out of their way not to greet us, not even a hello - The host came across inconvenienced by having to seat us - Table for two was so cramped and uncomfortable - First beer (can) was room temperature, second one (on tap) was nice and cold, thankfully - Wife's squid special was questionable and actually made her feel sick Again, I should probably give three stars, but everyone has a rough night once in a while and I don't want to be malicious. The burger was fantastic, and I'll give them another go sometime, I'm sure.

A little tucked away up an unassuming flight of stairs, but once discovered I doubt you'll forget Bread & Bone since it offers great food in a vibrant atmosphere. The menu is varied and offers burgers to please most people's palates. There are even vegan options on the menu. The burger, fries and onion rings I devoured were cooked to perfection. Not dry or tough. The burger wasn't overstuffed either, so no foliage falling down my face as I bit into it. Plenty of beers, ales and wines on offer too. The staff were pleasant and attentive and although it was busy during my visit, the wait time for food was minimal. If you like a great soundtrack with tasty food in a modern setting, then make sure you visit this place.

I have not been to B&B for years, and so I shouldn't be surprised that it has changed. In the past the burger ingredients tasted premium, flavourful and above just an everyday fast food burger joint. Fast forward to 2021, and we arrive at B&B are seated on some stools inside the space and order our meals. The venue is great, as are the staff, really attentive and friendly. They were busy, so we waited a good 30 minutes for our meals. My chicken burger lacked flavour. The bun was average, good size, but the chicken was nothing special, just basic breaded chicken. All burgers come with fries and they were decent. Everyone at the table agreed that they were not worth the price ($20-22). You can get the same meal from Nordburger, more flavour and for less money. I will give them another go to try the wings and other starters. I am giving it 3 stars, one for the venue, one for the staff and one for the fries.

We dropped in for lunch.... I ordered a unicorn level sandwich.. It magically held together, each bite was amazing and amazingly my beard did not eat too much. My girlfriend had a Buttermilk chicken burger she would not be silent about it for days. All in all food was flawless. Staff were amazing and the environment was very chill... I highly recommend this place.

Atmosphere was good, ordered the waygu and roasted bone marrow burger ($44). Definitely not worth $44, was pretty small but flavour was ok! Nothing special thats for sure. Chicken tenders were over cooked and they forgot our onion rings which was annoying. 1 star for food, 2 stars for friendly staff. Probably wouldn't return.

My friends and I had lunch here as 'food critics' for our home economics assignment. We were left speechless at the awesome service, catering for every one of my friends' food intolerance needs while providing a cool and enjoyable atmosphere. Let's not forget the beautifully prepared, cooked and served meals, including, especially, the B&B burger we were all so very lucky to enjoy. This was the tastiest, most worthwhile burger I have ever had the chance to try. I would like to personally congratulate Bread and Bone for their incredible efforts in their great service, passionate meals and the wonderful atmosphere they provide. Bread and bone is a great place that I have been plenty of times, definitely a burger joint that you’ll love! From the drinks to the bread, they’ll have you sorted. Unfortunately a minus one star for me as for some reason my orders always keep getting forgotten/lost. Being the first to sit down, order and still waiting for the food once people who ordered after us left. Maybe I get forgotten easily 😂. Staff were great and friendly!

Came in, and sat on the bar. Ordered a tap beer and asked the bar lady to recommend me something to eat. She pointed the B&B burger. It didn't disappoint! The smoked bacon in it was just fantastic and the patty cooked to perfection. Overall, the service was excellent and all staff was customer driven and friendly. The place atmosphere is relaxed and contemporary, warm light and pleasent. Asked for a customised Rum sour and they prepared it just as I wanted. Thank you guys! Really nice place. Looking forward to coming back and taste more of your menu.

Was one of the best Burger's I've had in a long time was definitely worth the wait and the chilli there is actually really hot so be careful if you don't wanna burn your mouth also loved the customer service. Probably a good couple place also for drinks and relaxing.

It's a small restaurant with a chilled vibe and friendly staff. The sauces and patties make for some delicious burgers. The B&B burger would benefit from a second pattie so my recommendation is to double up. The hot wings were super saucy, not too hot and slightly sweet. It all made for a fantastic meal!

Its my 4th time being back at Bread & Bone and my experience here has always been great! Went past a few times to eat out with friends and even on my Birthday this year! Honestly one of the best Burger Places you can visit in Adelaide - highly recommend it! Although it can get a bit cramped at peak hour, but well worth it!

Good pork belly burger with well seasoned mayo. Horrible and generic string fried, poor and over salted onion rings. None of the burgers in our order were marked as to which is which. Surely it should be not too difficult to indicate O the box what's inside. Might be a better experience when doing take out or dine in. Based on the burger alone I would give them four stars.

It surely is the best burger in town! Came here along and got myself a seat right in front of the open kitchen. Everyone has their own tasks and work smoothly together. You can tell it's a successful restaurant when you see a well-organized kitchen. I had the B&B burger, the bun is well toasted, beef, bacon, and the onion, sauces are all well-balanced. Not to mention their fries, or chips? I had the burger first, but then I found the chips are still crispy and tasty when they were a bit cold. Definitely worthy to come!

One of my favourite burger restaurants. They have a good selection of burgers and love the French fries they served instead of chips. Came here for few times with different bunch of friends and they all love it! Pair your burger with some craft beers, it’s the best way to end your Friday after work. Ps: they could be very busy during weekend (45 minutes wait) so remember to book your table beforehand.

Never been here before, my boss decided we should have a lunch catchup with the team and chose this place. Great atmosphere, food was fantastic. I had the B&B dog and can quite easily say it’s the beast hot dog I’ve had (partly because I’ve not had too many fancy hot dogs). Very tasty, onion rings where delicious, fries where nothing special but not bad. Cost me $21 for the meal and a Coke. Didn’t give 5 star as it took a long time for us to get service, felt like it was a scheme to keep us drinking. Arrived at 12 and got our food at 12:45. Besides the wait everything else was fantastic!

To find this place aim for the big wooden door. Enjoyed the char grilled broccolini, bbq brisket burger and washed it down with a ghost writer cocktail. The brisket burger was not too hot and the right amount of meat. The chips on the plate did not overload the burger which is the style for many other burger places, this place has by far the best chip to burger ratio. The cocktail was a unique taste but the bourbon cocktail matched perfectly with the burger. Definently a venue to enjoy a passing meal or stay for a couple drinks.

Cute place, great vibe. It was located just around the corner from my hotel, which made it super convenient to get to - very central. The crowd was quite young - a good number of uni students. The staff were super friendly and not overly attentive, which was great especially since I was dining alone. Australiano cocktail (7/10) - slight liquorice flavour, not to sweet, pleasant Korean fried chicken burger (5/10) - I disliked the kimchi (too salty and too garlicky) which tasted more like salty raw garlic than the more complex flavours of good kimchi. The chicken was a bit bland, maybe the flavour profiles needed to be balanced a bit more between the two. Overall, the burger was decent.

5 stars! I wish I could give 6 stars. That was a top 10 best burger of my life. And as a fat guy, I have had my fair share of burgers. The special, the brisket burger was amazing. I can not heap enough praise on it. Beer selection is on point too. A nice selection of tap beers for a reasonable price. My friend who is a vego, said the lentil and chickpea burger was the best one she has had since coming to Australia. It is noisy and busy and chaotic in all the good ways. It feels just like the hip burger bar you need. If you can only get one meal in Adelaide, let it be here.

Walked into this place when wandering around to find dinner with a group of 10. Staff happily helped us our and seated us in a rustic trainsl station style alley (which with the balmy weather was fantastic). For having a very busy night the owner was very attentive, coming back to check orders even remembering everyone's drink orders. Some very tasty options on the menu. Recommend you grab some of the appetisers as they are simple foods with garnishes and sauces packed with flavour. I got the 300gm burger and asked for it well done. Which is usually a no-no, but they cooked it perfectly and without fuss. Definitely recommend as a place to stop by and have a great burger and a few pints.

We love Bread and Bone! I've been here with my gals and my man several times and it's just amazing! We even Uber Eats'ed it one time! It could be a bit brighter in the upstairs part, but the food and portion sizes are just. Fabulous. I also tried the softserve icecream with cookie dough and salted caramel last time I was there and it was so, so nice. It's not an every week thing because it is on the upper end of the burger bar price range, but it's worth it!

Loved this place! We were from out of town so didn't realize it was like a bar, burger place 😆 We had a 3 year old with us and the staff were incredible, very kind and accommodating! Burgers were fantastic too, so delicious!

Liked the little patio out front and was not sure about going in as it is a very dark entrance but worth the "risk"! One of us has the B&B burger and the other the pork belly. Checking out the restaurants on Peel Street and stumbled on the Bread and Bone. They happened to have two seats and were able to seat us without a reservation. Lucky for us! The place filled up very fast so reservations are probably a must. We had the BBQ brisket burger, fries and coleslaw. All delicious! Tender brisket, crunchy fries and a delicious house coleslaw all served by friendly staff. Enjoyed my strawberry mojito and my spouse enjoyed his cold beer!

I was really excited to try this place out based off reviews and photos. Great ambiance and vibes going on. Food was good, I got the fried chicken sandwich and fries. The fried chicken was great, but the sauce on the burger, just didn't really match up. Sandwich came with fries, but it was a very small portion. I would like to go back for their hot dogs and ribs. They looked great. They have a nice range of drinks to choose from. The service was extremely slow, took forever to get drinks and when the drinks finally came, the wrong one came. The service was nice, just slow. They ran out of buns towards the end of the night and out of desserts as well. I feel like there's lots of potential here, would like to give it a second chance.

Amazing service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. Decided to take lunch at Bread and Bone on my half an hour meal break. The waiters kindly offered to speed up our food. The only thing that we found “difficult” as parents with kids is the fact that the place is on 3 different floor, the entrance has few table outside, then the main restaurant and the counter is on a upper floor and the toilets are on the lower floor. Not the best with prams or wheelchair. But again, food was great and the guy who was looking after us was amazing Will definitely come back when we’re back in Adelaide

Even as they were flat out busy, the service was friendly and great! My take away order was taken correctly and I was pleasantly seated at the bar to wait, and enjoyed a nice, cold, and refreshing apple cider. My order came quicker than I expected it too. Brioche bun was beautiful and a perfect combo of flavours in the correct ratio: absolute class. The Bone Marrow burger will take you back to the days of the family roast- brilliant. The downside was my pint was a cheeky 425ml, the waiter explained that at B&B they serve an SA pint: this is misleading and perhaps deceptive - something to improve on. Great service nonetheless- worth visiting for a quality burger.

Some really tasty burgers and sides. They have an awesome selection of beers as well as some amazing ciders. We had the cheeseburger and the squealer. The cheeseburger patty was really tasty and we also added some smoked bacon. The bacon had an underlying taste which I couldn't identify but it was pleasant. The pulled pork on the squealer was juicy and tender, with some definite bite to with a chipotle sauce plus some jalapenos. Nothing too spicy though.

We called ahead to see if a table was available and were advised to just turn up and we'd be seated as reservations were not being taken. We turned up inside 15 minutes and were offered a long bench facing a wall as the only seating, the bar upstairs or a 35 minute wait for a table. Second visit. Ribs were well presented but unfortunately far too salty due to the soy sauce used. The spicy wings were not spicy, at all, even if you think toothpaste is spicy you would get no heat from these wings. The sauce is supposed to be buffalo but its too light on vinegar and too generous with I think some type of tomato ingredient, which is unusual for buffalo style sauce but that's what I was getting. Anyways I'm sure the burgers are good, maybe stick to that part of the menu.

In all of Adelaide this is my favourite place for the classic Cheeseburger and Shoe String Fries Combo! The atmosphere is quite lively and very busy, with a dim light, bar stool/table layout. A setting that is much more upscale than a typical burger joint, albeit burgers are just a small component of their refined menu. Although small, they engineer a burger with such flavour precision that rivals the best Adelaide has to offer. And with a price of 10-12 bones a burger, I couldn't argue with quality. The meat was soft, tinged pink with a deep beef flavour, topped with 1 slice of melted white Chedder - just gooey enough, the best tangy tomato relish and a few thin sliced pickles. This all came inside a toasted brioche bun. Perfectly balanced in each bite. The fries were crispy with a good hand of salt for each chip, highly recommend adding ketchup! I had to order 2! A must for any burger connoisseur. I hope others enjoy the experience I was bestowed!

Excellent Customer Service! We received a warm welcome from Nick upon entering upstairs and chose high bench style seating. Kiera took our order via memory (imagine that!). A modern dining experience that is kept fresh by a monthly speciality menu. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, minimal lighting with great music playing. We ordered the Buffalo Wings which were amazing! I loved the hot water & lemon finger bowl, for 'clean up'. We all had a different Burger - the B&B Burger was delicious... juicy and full of flavour - Brisket Burger had incredible flavour, although was a little 'sloppy' to eat - Speciality Fish Gorgon Burger had a delicious mayonnaise which really complimented the flavour. I enjoyed a Caramel Milkshake which was refreshing and quite large, served icey cold. I'm impressed with the thick paper straw (not plastic!) Cutlery and high quality napkins are provided. There are also small tables with low booth/bench seating upstairs and outdoor undercover courtyard tables, chairs and long benches. Wheelchair access ♿ is available in the courtyard style seating, although ordering could be a small challenge. You would have to call to place your original order, so they knew you were there. It is worth the little extra effort. I highly recommend you visit Bread & Bone. It was refreshing to be treated so well and offered great food.

My review is based off a comparison with Grill'd, currently my unmatched favourite burger joint. While B&B had a good setting (although a very dark entrance which made you wonder if it was the right store... perhaps better signage and an extra light might help), the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the awesome tables for two (they move in/out to make it easy to get in, brilliant!)... the food just wasn't what it was hyped up to be. The fries for one: usually burger joints use thick cut chips, which pair so nicely with burgers, Grill'd does this perfectly, but I felt like B&B's fries were so similar to McDonald's it was like "why?" (Macca's fries taste better too...) Now onto the important one, the burgers: I got the BBQ Brisket which sounded amazing in the menu, when it came out it looked awesome too! However it was dripping wet and soaked the bread as I started to eat it. The meat kept falling out as well, it could definitely do with a skewer to keep it together. Additionally the meat was so overpowering I couldn't taste any other ingredient (not usually something I complain about, I love meat!), there was just a lot of meat in the burger with a tiny piece of cheese among other things. It also had no "brisket" which would have been nice to add a little crunch... My Mrs got the B&B Burger, and I actually preferred it to mine, more simple, but it had a couple of unique flavours which made it stand out compared to any other classic burgers... however, when I could go to Grill'd and get a fantastic burger (better no matter which burger you choose) for $10-15, and some optional thick cut chips for $5, the choice is obvious to me. I may visit this place again to try other dishes on the menu (the ribs sounded good!), but as for my favourite burger shop B&B didn't come close - sorry!

Food wasn’t great, possibly cause we tried something different. Really like the entrance and ambience of the place tho. We got the Korean fried chicken burger. It was recommended as it was a really popular special before so it became part of their regular menu. The chicken was a thick piece of boneless thigh. It was possibly only floured and pan fried instead of battered deep fried so it was kinda soggy. Would be better if the chicken was pounded flat or filleted so it fit the bun rather than being a ball of chicken. Thought it would have been seasoned as Korean chicken usually is but it just seemed like a piece of chicken in a bun with kimchee. Also tried the special crispy pork banh mi. The pork was pretty good but the French bread was terrible. It was sort of like old dry bread that they toasted so it was crumbly and dry. It was either old or they toasted the bread too long and it dried out. Normally banh mi bread is super crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. One good thing there was the fries. The staff was also pretty friendly. Maybe next time we will try a plain burger.

We had the "special" dish which has been created by an evil genius from deep within their kitchen ... You can hear his evil laughter as makes this dish... This creation was called "The Burger Project" This was more than burger ... It violated our taste buds .... and we liked it!!! Its the holy grail ....of BURGERS... can I get an AMENNNNN!

Awesome and cosy spot, very busy but seated quick at the bar, attentive staff, good choices for food, only negative was my burger wasn't cooked medium rare as on menu but still taste good, we ordered fritters, corn on the cob, onion rings the 300 and veggie burger, all in good quality, salt levels were a little high on everything for me especially the burger, but I don't eat alot of salt so I think I'm biased, I still enjoyed all the food just couldn't finish it as my eyes were bigger than my stomach🙃
