Comments of Falafel House

It is a great place and great food! The owner is Lebanese so the taste must be good! However, ask for the meat to be always well done because it will be dry otherwise. Also the place is relatively expensive comparing to others but I like their food and their opening hours.

Been a fan since a long time ago, for about 5-6 years now. Their meltdown (ABs) are awesome, the chips are very crispy even in the heat under the meat and sauce, compared to other places. The portion is very big. Returned in 2 years time and the quality is still good.

The food here is fantastic! They cater for vegans and vegetarians. The reviewer that said the sauce and chicken salt was put in her food and was angry as she was vegan, needs to get her facts straight. Their chicken salt is 100% vegan. They have garlic sauce that’s also 100% vegan. That’s why I love this place. Fresh food and lots of choices.

Best yiros in Adelaide, amazing tangy garlic sauce. Have been eating here for the past 27 years and the recipe hasn't changed, why change perfection? Decor leaves a little to be desired but who cares when the food is that good. Stop reading and go and get one. Davies seal of approval

Discovered this place late last year and will be coming back for many years to come as was the best Yiros I’ve had in whole of south Australia, would strongly recommend to anyone who loves good Yiros or anything you fancy :)

Have been coming here for quite a few years. Used to stop by when studying at the TAFE nearby and their menu options are great. The Yiros and Shashlik never disappoint, but importantly the Falafels are on point. A must have.

HUNGRY ? and its Late , Make sure you
GO HERE ,.- to the FALAFEL HOUSE in Hindley Street Adelaide CITY. its half way down hindley st.
I go to fallafel house regularly , its usually late 1am, and its to get a combination YIROS with salad -Tomato, onion and Lettuce ,Lamb and Chicken,, with GARLIC sauce .
Food Quality is consistenly good, very tasty, very good service always with a smile.

Giving it a 3, the meat is maranaited good but its usually dry because they re cook it on hot plate! Salad is a bit old as well but garlic sauce and employees are nice besides the Indians

Absolutely FANTASTIC vegan food. Their meltdowns are so good especially after 10 beers. So wholesome and filling despite satisfying ur junk food needs. Ripper service, so good to see a yiros place actually sell chips and have inclusive food for everyone (unlike yiannis up the road). So much love for this joint; total pros at the art of yiros making.

Tastiest Yiros in Adelaide. Be sure to add tabouli, hummus and cheese to the Yiros to give it an extra kick of tasty mouth explosions to keep your stomach satisfied.

-never had rude staff they usually come across this way to troublesome clientele, if thats ya complaint i'd check ya actions...
-ya orders get messed up cause ya are too drunk/off ya head and order the wrong thing or don't pay attention when getting asked questions about the specifics of your order dont blame them they aint mind readers.
i see this almost every time i go there at least once coustomer walks in orders a combo wrap, with all salads asks for sauce then as they eat it they remember they didn't want tomato. so pull ya heads in.
(only a vary few times ive seen them stuff up orders when they do they do replace it on the spot.)
-these guys work long hours and have an alcohol licence you pay for convenience its buisness...
-microwaving food... well i know some vary vary expensive places that claim to be clean and green that microwave their scrambled eggs and still charge upwards of $15 a serve that weighs less than 50 grams, so $1.30 for microwaved falafel is not a bad deal.
-reheated meat is cause there is no consistency of cliental some weekends the place is empty others ya cant move, if a place only did "fresh" yrios i'd question how much they throw out each day meat aint cheap and i aint just talking money use it or dont kill the animal even meat eaters can be ethical.......
-also this is a licensed premises and due to it being a restaurant is like the casino not subject to the lockout laws and im certian that maintaing this licence aint cheap so the $10 wrap up the road for a place without a licence just be aware of what you are paying for as a consumer costs get passed on.
ive noticed the few places that have licences that operate and sell alcohol after lockout do cost more for anything.
