Comments of Hey Jupiter Brasserie Francaise
P. S.
Visited for week-day brunch. Lovely little venue with a beautiful interior and exterior. Everything is curated to look beautiful, even the bathrooms. The staff were attentive and friendly. The coffee arrived very quickly and was very good. The food was simple, but delicious (noting, had a Continental Breakfast) with flavoursome cheese, shaved ham, soft boiled egg, toast and croissant + jam and butter. Recommend a visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner and wish they would open another venue interstate!

Amazing atmosphere, interior design and food. We got the French onion soup and duck. It even came with gluten free bread which was nice. As I’m GF. The staff are not the friendliest though.
R. S.
The place is cute, very Frenchy style.
Food is quite delicious and tasty.
That deserves 5 starts, however service and price deserve a lot less stars.
The staff is not friendly at all. All my friends agreed on that.
Also, adding a French name to the plate shouldn't make it more expensive.
It is quite pricy.
M. L.
Delicious Food. The Best and Only choice if u want to taste French style food in Adelaide. Excellent customer service. Price is a little high but worth it.
J. D. D.
Photos don't do this place justice. Service was great, coffee superb and food delicious and ample in serving. We came back the next day for breakfast again

A slice of Paris in Adelaide. I was so happy with this place I’ll break it all down into a succinct small paragraph.
I’m pescatarian and I knew the french love fish and pork so looking around the menu I had lots of fish options including the special. My friend had the special Trout was Devine and I had the salmon Terrine was also mouth watering. So double yummy 🤤. I was greeted in french as well so that was a lovely touch. So heart warming.
B. C.
If you're looking for the stereotypical French experience where the people are rude, everyone looks down their noses at you and the food is overrated, well then don't come to Hey Jupiter. The staff were friendly and polite, accommodating all of our dietary restrictions. The breakfast food was good (not great) and the coffee and tea were outstanding. What sets it apart was the ambiance of the place, it couldn't have been more parfait. Hearing the staff and patron's speak French really does make it feel as if you could be in France. I can't wait to bring back other family and friends so we can try lunch or dinner.

This review is going to be short and sweet for me, as I haven't dined recently, but wanted to leave a review all the same. I have dined a few times in the past, and absolutely love the food. Can feel a little squishy inside.
I should have more photos, but I don't, or can't find them. Having recently tried the new restaurant at the Sofitel Adelaide, Garçon Bleu, I can confidently say Hey Jupiter still leads by a mile or more! I had the beef tartare and they can't even be compared.
C. D.
Beautiful French style cafe in Adelaide CBD. Delicious breakfast with a range of breakfast beverages. Thyme mayonnaise was very tasty.
T.
Little French Cosy decor & tasty dishes.
Highly recommend for dates, small groups. If weekend, make sure you have a booking.
K. W.
The setting and the quality of food was incredible. Hey Jupiter is sat on a very quiet laneway with ample inside seating and if the weather is right, outside seating too. The menu has a wide range of choices for breakfast lunch and dinner as well as arguably the most extensive wine list I’ve seen in a while! It will take some time to read through the menu and commit to your choice so don't be in a hurry when coming here.
Food options are plentiful and authentic, as is the customer service. I was served by Leslie (Spelling?) who was more than happy to offer recommendations and checked in often to ensure everything was up to standard. The tables were clean and staff were well presented.
If there is one part of feedback that could be passed on, it would be seasonably related to C-19 mentality. The issue we faced was being bunched up 1m away from other patrons while empty tables sat free on the off chance they got a larger booking. I can appreciate a larger booking bringing in the money, but sitting so close to others was a little uncomfortable in any climate with elbows almost touching, but certainly more so given the world we currently live in. Inside and outside tables were the same.
J. C.
Had a coffee here. Didn't order food but they look and smell really nice from other tables. Found the place is extremely busy and space is tiny. Many times people walk pass and rub my back, the stress make me forget how the coffee taste like.😅
L. K. L.
Wonderful staff, divine food, great atmosphere.
P. G.
Really nice restaurant inside and out, and in such a great location, although that was let down by the service.
I ordered the croque madame, with salmon instead of ham, and it was delicious!
My partner, who is French and has spent most of her life in Paris, ordered the onion soup. Unfortunately she didn't like it very much, but she wasn't sure if her taste has maybe just changed over time.
The only real let down for me was that the staff weren't very friendly, which I guess does fit in with French (especially Parisian) hospitality, but was not what we expected for what we thought would be such a nice French brasserie, and from what we have heard about the place. Another downside was the wait time; we waited around 10 minutes after sitting down and no one came to take our order, I had to flag a waitress down after they walked past several times and I tried to catch their attention. And then once the order was taken we also waited about 20-30 minutes for the food, which seemed a bit long when they didn't seem very busy at all.
T.
Enchanting atmosphere with desserts to die for, highly recommend the creme brûlée as it was perfect.
T. S.
Very cute cafe. Went before uni to get some work done. Friendly staff. Only negative was that the coffee was quite small. However would definitely come back to try some of your meals :)
T. S.
Delicious!! Amazing service and the food was sooo good! Be prepared to spend some dollars, but the food is very much worth it - authentic and delicious. Fantastic wine selection and cocktails. Loved everything so much, definitely a must-go-to in Adelaide xoxo
N. L.
This place could add some more vegan/vegetarian options. They customised the croissant for me, replacing ham with avo. I loved their masala chai - full of flavour and just the right spices. Their profiteroles are AMAZING!!!
G. W.
Excellent! We had the best dinner here. The lobster was incredible, but my favourite is the croque monsieur. Love the profiteroles, too. And the French toast… ok, everything is good…
D. R.
Incredible food, and the service from the waiter was amazing, over the course of the brunch made recommendations that were all spot on.
J. S.
Great atmosphere and customer service.
Most of all, the food quality was so satisfying🤌 I loved their coffee taste as well ☕️
E. A.
We’ve been here a couple times, think this place should definitely be rated higher! The duck confit is amazing, we’ve also really enjoyed the steak frites, French onion soup and snails. Super cute quaint little space inside. Prices may seem a little high but I think it’s reasonable for what you get (quality and portion).
A. N.
Pricey as always but the coffee and food presentation, quality is consistently great.
B. W.
How good is this little piece of Paris in Adelaide.
The real deal french food and wine and even a French crew to keep it all coming.
Extensive drinks list, traditional French fare and a cool little venue thats totally unique.
W. W.
Very friendly staff and delicious food. Managed to fit us in at very short notice, despite being fully booked. Everything appears clean but the space is quite small, though this seems to be the French style. Would recommend the foie gras and the beef cheek especially.
G. B.
A little slice of France tucked away. It looks and feels just like a Parisian Cafe. Freshly cut baquet along with some shocked to order Oysters, a perfect afternoon snack.
h. r.
Fabulous French food and wine! Highly recommend , everything was superb! Loved sitting outside in the sunshine today ☀️
J. J.
Just lovely! Super busy and popular for a Sunday brunch... Great atmosphere, service and taste of France 🌞
T. T.
Everything is perfect. Highly recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼
S. K.
Very nice food, but the portions were disappointingly small, especially given the prices. Service quite slow. Won't go back in a hurry.
I. L.
So fabulous, wonderful atmosphere and amazing food. Would highly recommend
H. H.
The sandwiches are solid. The bread is soft and fluffy. I had the smoked salmon sandwich. The wasabi mayo isn't strong so it doesn't bother me. French fries were nice and crunchy, similar to a good batch of french fries from Maccas. I also ordered a fresh OJ. We did think the prices was a bit high which is why I give this place 3 stars. I'm not sure if I'd come back unless I was ok with splashing out. The food isn't bad but the prices discourage repeat patronage.
R. H.
Loves the atmosphere in here. Feels like I am in Paris. The price of the foods and drinks is a bit expensive. But the croissant here is a killer. Really reminded me of Parisian Croissant.
B. G.
Lovely little, authentic French restaurant. I had the beef cheeks with mash and vegetables and they were delicious, lots of meat and very rich. The wine list is excellent and nice to have some French wines for a change. Creme brulee for dessert was also fantastic- big enough for two!
L. D.
Lovely French cafe set on a quiet one way street. The street front is wonderfully decorated with 15 pastel green wicker chairs set under an awning of the same. Walk inside and you'll find another 10 tables and a coffee bar.
While the cakes and pastries did look amazing, I was here for breakfast and we're not left disappointed. I chose Oeuf Hey Jupiter and a black coffee. That paired with lovely service made my last morning in Adelaide. I'll be back!
E. D.
Loved the place and the food. Not given 5 stars due to the staff being a bit snappy at us and other customers. Otherwise an great place to have coffee and brunch. Croissant with eggs and truffle salt were delicious
S. S.
Delicious French brassiere. Take your lover there, have some escargot followed by a steak frites with a bottle of sparkling Gamay rosé and watch the world go by. 5 stars.
Y. I.
A French kiss in the heart of Adelaide. Beautiful ambiance and delicious food. Highly recommended the cafe au lait (giant coffee). Excellent selection of pastries. Friendly staff who are happy for you to practice your French on them.
D. C.
What an amazing experience. Certainly a pleasant surprise exploring the alleyways of Adelaide. The decor and ambience is very well executed and the food was spot on. Loved it!
S. G.
The abundance of times I have dined here have been incredible. Their location makes this place desirable for a short lunch, or a longer brunch, their staff only adds an element of serenity and creates an atmosphere that mimics the surrounds of Paris. Their food is well portioned and their prices are well matched. This is a lovely go to for us.
H. R.
Very good coffee, croque monsieur and scrambled eggs on toast was delectable. Only complaint time between order and service and the amount of butter used to toast butter. Other than that we look forward to more visits xo Thanks for bringing abit of French culture to our little Adelaide.
A. P.
The food was good with an interesting menu.
A huge wine list, especially of French wines, but so expensive. Not even the Australian wines were under $70 a bottle. My friend and I had a very small glass (about three mouthfuls)of New Zealand sparkling at $14 a glass
T. “. D. D. A.
Great atmosphere, great customer service, but the meals are grossly overpriced. I've had plenty of French cuisine in my time and I can tell you, you're paying too much, sorry guys but that's the truth
R. C.
Tucked away in the alley a delicious french brasserie. Came here for breakfast with the family whilw travelling in Adelaide and had some delicious eggs on a perfectly buttered and toasted croissant with an extra blood sausage on the side.
The food was delicious and the service was great, a must visit if you're staying around the area.
M. R.
Excellent menu, great for an elegant snack or lunch. Very nice selection of wines as well. Will be sure to check on future trips to Adelaide.
M. M.
I can only ever order one thing from their menu because there’s not that many menu items to choose from for those of us with dietary requirements. I can only really judge by the one item I always order but everytime I go it’s always good.
F. H.
Walk into a treasured pocket of Paris in Australia. The brasserie takes you to the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre and back to your plate. A true culinary journey from la France que j’aime! The details are perfect. From the typographic Métro facade to the Duralex glasses! All the best things about La Belle France in Adelaide. J’adore.
B. L.
Absolutely incredible food, well worth the pricing and such a gorgeous cafe front. I love it so much.
J. S. F.
Amazing French vibes, feel like you are on your own local Europe holiday. We went for brunch and it did not disappoint. Amazing atmosphere
N. J.
Hey Jupiter is one of the cafes you hope to find when you're travelling. It's got a tight menu, a cute streetscape vista and is a bit no nonsense. The coffee was awesome, the food really tasty and the atmosphere quite chilled.
b. r.
Magnificent French cuisine. Wonderful, friendly staff. Great birthday celebration, thank you so much.
C. W.
Tucked away in Ebenezer place, Hey Jupiter gives the feel that you are sipping coffee on a pit stop through Europe. Coffee was enjoyable, but was delivered far too hot to enjoy it straight away. This aside, it will still make for a great stop for a breakfast/brunch.
C.
Food and coffee are very delicious!!!!
Staffs also nice❤️
F. T.
A little piece of Paris in the heart of Adelaide. Awesome service and food. Have been several times now and cannot fault this unique experience of Paris.
G. M.
Stopped in to Hey Jupiter on the advice of the legends at Pink Moon Saloon and wasn't disappointed. The Breakfast Martinis were fresh, boozy and delicious and we savoured the steak tartare & fries. Lovely to sit outside, backs to the shopfront, watching the comings and goings of a bustling nook of Adelaide.
A. B.
Had breakfast here yesterday and loved it, Croq Monsieur and coffee so good I had to have another. Reminded me of my trip to Paris 3 years ago. Definately recommend.
A. B.
Delicious French style breakfast served with great coffee. Very popular with cyclists after a morning ride.
R. G.
Food was unremarkable (see my earlier reviews of Parisian restaurants), service slow. Exceptional wine list.
E. K.
The place has a really lovely atmosphere and it’s interior is really nice. As well as it being on a nice, quieter street in the city. I found it to be quite expensive for food that wasn’t bad, but could use more flavour.
A. R. (.
The venue is really nice, with a unique style that stands out in its location just off Rundle St.
The food was good, although I did go with a safe option, the Hey Jupiter eggs with ham, which was nice, but quite a small serve.
Overall, Hey Jupiter has great potential and I would recommend it, but the food didn’t amaze, I will be back to give it another shot.
T. M.
The very best place in all of Adelaide - absolutely amazing food, traditional French service and regarded as well worth the wait for a table. The effortless service and dedication to detail makes this the very best place - be adventurous and try the escargot or 30g of caviar or true champagne, for nowhere else in Adelaide would do it better. This is the place to be and I have been loyal for so many years as it's always exceeding expectations
M. N.
Friendly staff, good food. Just a bit pricy, but very worth it.
A. J.
If you like simple flavours and dishes made really well and a great selection of these to boot, you can't go past Hey Jupiter, especially for brunch. The staff have a great and friendly manner, and table service at a little cafe like this really elevates your experience.
L. M.
great french food! best oeuf meurette (poached eggs in red wine sauce) iv ever had! highly recommend! service is fantastic and a massive wine list.
J. L.
Good spot for lunch on fine weather day. Food is creative in a just-nice portion. Service is attentive, but seems a bit pushy for a gratitude when settling bill.
K.
Great food, service and coffee. Staff are professional and helpful. I will be back to try some more of the menu items very very soon.
D. V. R.
This place is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere and the food are fantastic I feel like I'm back in Europe. highly recommend the half chicken and the dry aged sirloin with bearnaise sauce.
A. Y.
The salmon sandwich here is tasty. Decent coffee. A little bit pricey but its okay. A good place for breakfast and afternoon tea breaks.
E. W.
Love the look of this place. The French vibe is beautiful. We went for brunch and it was absolutely delicious! The waiter who was serving us was an absolute pleasure. Leslie went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend this place and would go again!
S. H.
Great atmosphere but not exciting food, maybe we picked worst choices where only French bit was the baguette. An $11 glass of house red was the worst I can remember having ever. Obviously a hot spot for young monied but they can have it. Service was nice and friendly, just improve food offer and serve decent wine rather than pouring a $4 bottle at $11 a glass.
R. D.
Good experience of French breakfast cusine.. really tasty and surprised me as I kind of expected the usual and traditional cafe type breakfast.
Good job guys
B. L.
Cute vibe but food was just average nothing amazing about except the vibe.
I. W.
Very quaint and authentically French. Reminded me of La Coupole in Paris.
K. E.
I have dined at Hey Jupiter a few times and I think the location and atmosphere is lovely. The food and drink that I have tried has been pretty tasty, however, I find their menu is quite overpriced for what it is. I recently ordered an iced latte and was surprised to see how small the serving was although the pricing is about the same as other cafes that serve in larger glasses.
S.
An excellent true French brasserie.
The regular menu doesn’t necessarily proves it but their daily specials always bring a bit of home in Adelaide (despite the nice friendly service, unlike in France...)
If you are French and feel homesick, or if you want to get to know excellent French cuisine (and avoid random, wrong adaptations) then there is your place.
D. C.
Nice location. Food/wine, good but a bit pricey
S. B.
Amazing experience, amazing food and lovely environment.
M. W.
Great place for breakfast
C. T.
Wow. Amazing. What a pleasant surprise. Even amidst the bustle of the fringe Lesley our waitress went out of her way to welcome and seat us. It's hard to find exceptional food and service. The food was 11 out of 10 if that can even be said. The mussels was an entree and a very generous serving between two. The saffron sauce was so good. The duck really exceeded our expectations and the white wine from France was an excellent recommendation. Charlotte was a delight at the end of the evening. Suffice to say we will definitely be back. New favourite restaurant. Did I mention, the atmosphere, table setting and service was so prompt and excellent.
J. H.
Absolutely love Hey Jupiter the food is never disappointing and crazy delicious. The staff are always in a great mood. They are more than happy to answer any questions about the food, which as someone with certain food allergies is refreshing. Hey Jupiter has an extensive wine list, delicous cocktails and a good range of other beverages. We would highly recommend Hey Jupiter for any occasion.
T. A.
Nice food, huge wine list, the female Manager (?), awful, unprofessional, having a go at staff in front of customers is not on, especially for trivial things.
J. P.
Pretty overpriced and cramped for average tasting food.
w. m.
Was very nice, friendly staff and lots of food .. had breakfast but couldn't eat all of it. The only thing i didn't like was the burn, hard bacon
D. D.
Place got too busy costumer service disappeared. Cheese plate and coffee took to long
C. G.
Great breakfast.. French delights and good coffee..
F. J.
Loved this dining experience. Great food, an amazing french wine list with a lot of by the glass wine choices and wonderful friendly service.
Sat outside and we loved it.
A. V.
Service is everything but when the waitress is knowledgeable about what's on offer in regard to food and drinks (think maitre d'/sommelier), and attentive. Not to mention, informing you that your meal was going to be a few minutes late...for good reason. Then that just takes your dining experience to the next level. The meals from the start to the end were delicious. Always a good meal if your not reaching for the salt and pepper!
G. H.
Classic dishes crafted to perfection and specials to keep it interesting. Very extensive wine list, french and local vintages.
THE best french cafe in Adelaide.
J. D.
Amazing stake perfectly cooked, great mussels and great people.
B. N.
Literally stumbled upon/into this little gem! The outdoor seating took me back to my short but enjoyable time in Paris 😛
The menu is wonderfully authentic and the wine list balanced. We had the (Aussie slang) snails, steak tartar, muscles and terine. All were rich, buttery, garlicky, seasoned to perfection and very satisfying. My attempt to order the dishes in 'French' were patiently received by our French waitress, with a few polite corrections along the way! Definitely no room for desert this time, but will be back!
A. T.
Great food, friendly staff. The snapper and the lamb rack was yummy!
L. B.
This cafe has a beautiful set up, and makes excellent coffee. The food I’ve tried has been good, although I think the French toast was far too sweet. It’s important to note that the menu is expensive for breakfast.
However I think the service could be improved, as staff were not very attentive and were incredibly hard to flag down.
This cafe is worth going to purely because of its beautiful decor, but I’m not sure if I’d return.
D.
Went there on Saturday night with friends while visiting from Sydney. The place was full with a few people celebrating Birthdays. The service was excellent, considering how busy they were and our meals were outstanding. Great atmosphere and a wonderful place to enjoy an unrushed dinner experience with friends.
a.
A great brasserie, with a very classic French menu and some interesting specials on the night we went (tripe, venison, barramundi to name a few). The service was excellent and helpful. The wine list takes a while to read, but is full of well chosen wines from Australia and France. No one had any complaints about the food and we look forward to my next visit.
K. L.
A touch of Paris in Adelaide. What an unexpected pleasure.
Service fantastic. Food excellent.thanks
G. J.
Had breakfast here. Food arrived promptly, was very tasty and was well presented. Had a very authentic French atmosphere and I really enjoyed my experience there. Will be back.
M. S.
Excellent!!
Based on some web reviews and a good feeling when we walked past JUNIPER we booked and enjoyed a lovely meal here
Great menu with plenty of options
Impressive wine list and decent wine by the glass
Warm friendly service and they noted our tight timetable to get to the airport
Well worth more visits
Highly recommended
J. S.
Cozy and authentic French feel bistro with excellent wine selection, service and food. Trout and beef cheek main courses were outstanding as was the lemon tart for dessert. Can't wait to return and definitely recommend.
S.
Delicious food. Massive shout out to Leslie for her exceptional service 👌
J. S.
An authentic french vibe, that feels like a chic slice of Paris in the heart of the city. The dishes are quite unique. You probably won't get what you expect - just expect it to be delicious!
Super friendly staff :)
E. Z.
Nice sandwich. Service was very slow and a bit on the grumpy side.
A. I.
The location is nice and the service is good. The food is OK bit could be better presented. I had the cassoulet which was nice. Poached eggs were also done well. Coffee was pricey. It was great that it was open on a public holiday.
L. D.
Being a french restaurant, Hey Jupiter serves good coffee and refills the bread which is nice. Food is a little pricey but you get enough portions, ended up not finishing some of the food so maybe would have liked it to be smaller and cheaper. Same case with the dessert, it would be a good idea to order a plate to share between two (the creme brulee is huge!!). Service is prompt and the waiters are witty. Really enjoyed our evening with tasty specials for the day!
M. B.
Nice authentic French place complete with French speaking bairista. Groovy decor and decent food with a large array of the usual fare. Coffee good.
M. T.
We walked over to Hey Jupiter for dinner after the French film festival at Palace Nova. We had the moules and tart to share; it was beautiful, delicious and service was attentive and excellent! We can’t travel to France because of covid so we’re very happy to have found this little gem of a place.
A. P.
The chocolate is good, not so sweet.
The lemon tart is yum but a bit sour.
M. K.
I would say this is Adelaide best kept Secret French restaurant.
The food was Amazing I had the mussels then eye fillet steak which you could cut with a butter knife, then crème brûlée.
So five stars for the food.
All staff where fantastic but our waitress had great knowledge of the food and drinks she was fun too even if we did a fake French accent!
We will be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
L. N. L.
Went there for breakfast--croissant and a long black. The croissant is exquisite, it's perfectly buttery and flaky and perfect on its own. The coffee was also very good. Looking forward to trying other dishes here
S. S.
Beautiful venue, efforts to keep this in Adelaide, is an up hills battle. But thanks for being in the battle, Adelaide need more places like this to share, educate and eyes opener.
People complaints about prices, can only say, they don’t have much expectation from the little venue. Customers always want everything for free anyway. Once you have exceed their expectation, this will become a new standard on their next visit. There will hardly has appreciations from then, but complaining for not satisfying.
Your industry is hard. But thank you for fighting and offering us something very different.
M. W.
Expensive with subpar service and average food.
It would be great if it was just a cafe but they have tried to make it up market and don't pull it off. The decor was good but the seating inside is too limited and outside feels cheap. The menu was small, and the food we received was not any better than the corner deli.
If you're a fan of kitsch and willing to pay then this is a fine place, but for the normal person who just wants a nice brunch there are better places.
C. D.
Great little French cafe/restaurant in the Adelaide CBD.
A. D. W.
I had the foie gras, escargot and the beef cheek.
Escargots were nice but I think they need garlic and salt. Alittle bland.
Foie gras was excellent, really liked it.
Beef cheek was tender and the mashed potatoes were good too. However, the wine sauce was alittle too sour for my liking. (Wine might have gone bad, I'm honestly not sure)
All in all, a decent experience, decent food, friendly staff. 4 stars because it was alittle pricey and even though I was sitting inside, I was bombarded by house flies.
M. B.
It's hard to fault this place. I am a regular and have been since it opened. Expect a wait if it's busy - good food and drink takes time. But it's well worth it. It has taken me a while to write a review, but only now do I have something to say. What these guys do is unbelievably challenging and they are sincere in their pursuit of perfection. There's nothing toffee about it, but I have seen some less than fair reviews of Hey Jupiter posted by individuals who simply came with different expectations. To those people, I suggest next time visiting with an experienced moderator before venting with a 1 star review. This place delivers consistent quality, using some of the best produce in Australia. It is a must for all visitors to our city and has become something of an institution in Adelaide's east end.
j. d.
A true little gem of a place. Authentic DELICIOUS French cuisine, great selection of wines from France and Australia, and professional, efficient staff, who help to make every meal a very enjoyable experience. We LOVE this restaurant and would recommend it to all people who enjoy French cuisine.
As a PS. This place is NOT BYO...
J.
High quality food and service. Got to experiment ordering French as I’ve been studying the language all of my high school years!! Have been coming here for years and love it every time. Merci à tous!
R. S.
great service. quiet location. coffee and pastries are awesome.
S. M.
Mussels were divine. Very charming decor and location, and the staff were all quite friendly and accommodating. A bit pricey, but it's also okay to order a combination of lighter items and coffee. Be on the lookout for daily specials featuring local seafood.
P. G.
Charming atmosphere, delightfully tasty food, good service ~ massive wine list. We Love Hey Jupiter ~ Thanks, Always!

Atmosphere impeccable ... Food amazing. Only critique was mildly abrasives waitress who tried to hurry us out after eating. Just wanted moment to let the food go down.
N. B.
Most succulent juicy steak cooked to perfection, and the oysters, mwah. 5 🌟

Authentic French cafe with very particular standards loved and appreciated by us who treasure memories of sitting in a cafe in France watching the world go by.
C. M.
Absolutely delightful. Beautiful, tasty food. Very good service. 10/10.
Thanks for a yummy breakfast. Will be back.
R. D.
We stopped in for brunch on Boxing Day. Very good service and good, authentic French cuisine. Only downside is the size inside - while it contributes to the authenticity of the French decor, it makes you feel a bit guilty for taking up a table to get day drunk.
D. S.
A friend took me to a late breakfast and we ended up there.
Great coffee, great food, excellent service. Couldn't fault it.
Some other places could learn from these guys.
R. M.
Beautiful coffee and a great French vibe.
A. P.
Great little French styled Cafe. Food and service was excellent. Recommended!
C. M.
Beautiful food, amazing atmosphere and great service. Almost felt like we were in Paris.
R. D.
A lovely hidden french gem off the beaten track, great for champagne breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner
M. C.
Great service, great food! The atmosphere was lovely, the french toast I highly recommend. The only thing it was a bit pricey for what it was, but I do understand I was paying for quality and quantity.
F.
Prob best coffee I have had in Adelaide. European style cafe. I'll be back.
S. R.
Eye Filet Steak Frites - cooked to perfection.
O. F. A.
What a nice place. Superb coffee and not your usual breakfast, but it is authentically French and the decor is something to see.
I. S.
Excellent food. We just had to wait a long time before our delicious meal arrived. Can highly recommend.
S. V.
A little bit of Paris in the heart of the East End. Really enjoyed the French ambiance and dining on the kerb was perfect on a mild summer evening. The wine list is very good, predominantly French (bit of course) with good house wine by the glass or carafe also available. Menu selections cover Fremch favourites and do so pretty well. I'll happily come back.
B. L.
Lovely food. Better than visiting France really. Great breakfast cocktails. Good old world wine list.
S. A.
Fantastic French cafe with delicious, authentic food and great service. The coffee is lovely and service is attentive, but not pushy. It's a fave.
L. H.
Beautiful place to have a coffee, snack or more. Lovely little nook in the CBD. Will go there again.
E. C.
Genuine French food, bistro style. Small and busy, definitely make a booking! Eaten twice for dinner recently and both times were absolutely delicious. On reviendra!
H. M.
Great food, very good coffee, good atmosphere, reasonable service. I really enjoyed our meal but I wish the serving sizes were bigger, especially paying the Sunday surcharge it felt a bit small
J. N.
Excellent coffee, great staff and a cozy atmosphere. These guys know their stuff and consistently produce a professional hospitality experience, with a touch of Parisian flair. Don't believe the trolls. This cafe is a asset to the area.
C. S.
Bonjour what a lovely little French bistro tucked in the CBD. If you go for breakfast the croque Monsieur and French brioche to share so you get the best of both.
M. R.
Hey Jupiter was amazing! I had the snails they were delicious and tender, I also had the most amazing beff tartare, it was full of flavour. The oysters to die for, so was the dried sausage. The raspberry sorbet was outstanding. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat!
L. W.
Steak frites from heaven. My partner’s eye fillet was cooked perfectly medium rare, and mine medium ... quality, melt in your mouth!! Generous serves of bernaise and frites. If this charming, quintessentially French Brasserie was in Melbourne there would be a ridiculous wait.
A. E.
Amazingly yummy food, such an authentic French experience. Quite pricey but worth it for a fancy night out!
S. L.
Delicious French toast, nice setting outside. The waitress was a bit abrupt which made me believe I was actually in Paris again.
P. K.
Amazing food great service and so many wines
We had a wonderful night
Thank you
B.
As Hey Jupiter's French Owner welcomes, converses & serves Adelaide's East End trendy crowd, sit back in the sun & people watch all that Ebenezer Place has to offer. Although service was a little slow, my coffee & croque monsieur was delicious 👌🏻
J. L.
Always wanted to come here as they only open for breakfast through till late lunch. Food definitely didnt disappoint and the ambience definitely has the french feel.
T. S.
I'll be back here for sure! Food is full and rich of flavour
T. T.
A quite variety choices of coffees and breakfast menu.
G. I.
Food was delicious, decor quirky French and staff friendly - top food top service .
P. E.
Really great for breakfast. Don;t know how they made the fruit salad taste so good and fresh. It's a bit hidden but definitely worth a try.
m. w.
Absolutely love (almost) everything on the menu. Always great service. This was our first post-covid-lockdown choice for a birthday meal. As good as ever!
S. A.
Loved the ambience, dropped in for lunch. Food was great. service was excellent. Worth a visit.
C. D.
Good service, Good food for most of our party and nice drinks. But a bit of a wait and not very decent vego options. Otherwise quite nice.
Y. S.
Lovely pot of Darjeeling tea, great coffee and lemon curd tart. Staff are fine, remember we often speak very fast and it is hard to understand our words and accent if one is new to our city.
J. d. L.
Great service, food and coffee.
J.
Fantastic food with wonderful staff and an extremely authentic setting. Feels like a slice of France in a wonderful Adelaide setting. Would highly recommend!
G. H.
Just okay place, really feels like I'm in France! A bit of a shame that its dishes aren't described in a way that someone not used to the cuisine can understand.
D. T.
Pretty good place for coffee and catch ups
S. B.
Very traditional French food in a vibrant and bustling atmosphere. The staff never seem to be still moving from table to table busy with serving and taking orders.
C. W.
Really nice food and French atmosphere. Gotta take a star off for the lack of vegetarian options but that doesn't effect everyone.
M. C.
The service from staff was attentive and welcoming, my meal was great, however a little salty.
E. R.
Fantastic coffee and breakfast mean this is a shore thing for good food.
The French toast is and winner and the ham and cheese sandwich was yummy.

L. S.
Adelaides most authentic French bistro. Like a little slice of Paris in Australia. Classic French food and wine and wonderful atmosphere
J. J.
Excellent French affair, used to be a regular, looks like they've upgraded the restaurant and extended service out later. Food was excellent, service left us just a little bit lacking.
Y. L.
The roast pork sandwich and latte was really average. I was regretting not going to the Afghan joint next door the whole time, whose ratings are far better...
L. E.
The food was great, the coffee was magnificent and the service was top notch. All in all I couldn't find something to complain about.
D. M.

Very good food. Very good service. Not cheap. Should check wine better as 1st one was corked.
Pity about the garbage trucks which come to empty the bins.
K. F.
This place is so sweet, really has the feel of a paris bistro. The snails are some of the best I have ever had and the barramundi was delicious!
J. N.
Excellent coffee, great staff and a cozy atmosphere. These guys know their stuff and consistently produce a professional hospitality experience, with a touch of Parisian flair. Don't believe the trolls. This cafe is a asset to the area.

Mussels were divine. Very charming decor and location, and the staff were all quite friendly and accommodating. A bit pricey, but it's also okay to order a combination of lighter items and coffee. Be on the lookout for daily specials featuring local seafood.
P. L.
The food and coffee is ok but a little hectic.
M. K.
I would say this is Adelaide best kept Secret French restaurant.
The food was Amazing I had the mussels then eye fillet steak which you could cut with a butter knife, then crème brûlée. …
E. R.
Fantastic coffee and breakfast mean this is a shore thing for good food.
The French toast is and winner and the ham and cheese sandwich was yummy.

Average service, excellent food, horrible child/weird music tho, better be deaf than hearing that stuff again, made us leave early instead of having more drinks.

Great atmosphere and setting, staff wernt very friendly or helpful, but that might have been because we took our 2yo and perhaps that is not their target audience!

Food and breakfast cocktails! The food was faultless, the menu had a wide variety and the setting was adorable and vintage.
