Had a little bit of everything from small bites to their bigger plates; chicken wings were tasty and the sauce was delicious. Only thing was the waitress took our plates too fast so couldn't really get more dips lol. Tacos were tasty and crispy. Pork belly taco was a little dry for my liking. Also ordered their feijoada as main after missing Brazil so much. The beans could be softer. Pork belly and chorizo were tender. Had a bite of my friend's fish taco, I recommended that too!

Came for dinner with my son who is vegan and loves Mexican cuisine We started with a nachos which they veganized for us. Was generous for the 2 of us ,cornchips were nice and crispy and the spice coating had a real zing to it. Tacos followed...the kingfish was my favourite... a real flavour explosion. I also had the smokey chicken and a famous KFC( Korean Fried Cauliflower). My son also had a vegan stuffed chilli dish which I was too full to even taste. This is not El cheapo style pile on the cheese Mexican...attention is given to all the ingredients to create varied and interesting flavours...all my 3 vegan kids love the vegan menu here and I enjoy those dishes as well . Only issue was the online booking had all the outdoor tables full and yet half empty all night

This is a MUST visit. Really enjoyed our event here. The “Vegastation” event was really well done. Essentially a Vegan event from the same crew as the Vegan festival.. It’s great to visit FUN and themed venues with creative attention to detail. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The drinks and food menu was plentiful and seemed to be something for everyone. In this day and age,,catering for the Dietary requirements of Vegteraians, Vegans, Lactose free, etc is a given and will always add value and credibility to a Food business. If it’s done well, these people are willing to travel and pay a reasonable price to be accommodated for. The Hispanic has a Plant based menu and fun our has it even a dedicated Vegan kitchen.. The amenities were clean and Covid requirements easy and in line with current requirements. We will definitely be adding this one to our list of places to return to and will keep an eye on the socials for events. Thanks again and look forward to returning again soon. 🍴👏🏼 😃

With a line forming from 5pm, HM is clearly a popular choice for many. The staff were super friendly (special shout out to Alice) and the food arrived promptly. The modern Mexican menu definitely has an overall spicy undertone, even the chocolate brownies are laced with chilli. Almost entirely Gluten Free, the wifey was free to order at her leisure which was a welcomed change. Highlights were the Elote, Nachos and Duck Dirty Duck.

One of my favourite spots in SA! The food is as delicious as it beautifully presented, authentic while incorporating interesting cultural elements from different regions. I have been looking for plantains since moving to Adelaide and what a joy it was to find tostones on their menu! Beyond the food, the customer service is outstanding- the servers were polite and went above and beyond to make our night as perfect as possible. They quickly rectified an issue (on my part) with the timing of our reservation and even offered me a complimentary glass of sparkling wine for my birthday. They checked on our table often and carefully attended and catered to my vegan friend's dietary requirements. The ambience of the restaurant is warm and trendy with Latin music playing in the background and just enough of a crowd to retain a 'buzzing' atmosphere. It's casual enough for a nice family dinner but funky enough for a date night. I highly recommend Hispanic Mechanic and will most definitely be back.

Been meaning to come here for ages and now I regret not having tried it earlier. Menu wise, good representation of Latin American dishes with some Korean influences. All the dishes we tried, Chicken Wings, Taquitos, Empanadas, Dirty Duck, Tacos were well executed save for the Feijoada which was rather dry and lacking in gelatinous textures from a slow-cooked process. Desserts were good, lovely contrasts of flavours and textures. A lovely outdoor seating area and good ambience throughout the place.

It is not easy to find good Brazilian food in Adelaide, but I was surprised when I tried the feijoada from Hispanic Mechanic. It was delicious, tasted like home. In addition, the place is cozy, has different spaces, and it's not a loud restaurant. The staff is super nice. Very good Latino food ☺

BEST MEXICAN IN SA! I love Mexican food so I’ve tried every restaurant around and you guys are without a doubt #1. The Vietnamese/Mexican fusion menu items are INCREDIBLE! Ate here right after it first opened and the mix of Korean and Mexican was choice. Last week attended for daughter's birthday and somehow the flavours were a bit subdued, not as magical as before. Still, great food, great concept, and I still insist this is the best Mexican and/or texmex (fusion) food I've had in Australia since moving here 9 years ago. Something has changed in the flavour profile, and while I'd like to see it how it was when it first opened, I'm still giving it 5 stars. Very tasty.

This is obviously a very popular place, despite the tricky parking in that area. The food and service were great and didn’t disappoint, with a focussed menu, truly tuned to the obvious theme. Unfortunately, as an oldie, the “noise” was making it difficult to understand conversation and order easily. My hearing’s perfect but with the decor comprising the contents of half a small copper mine and many other metal and brick surfaces, the result is the opposite of an anechoic chamber, with a constant, self elevating level of echoed conversations that more resemble a large industrial chicken shed. Unless you’re young and completely hip with that kind of “atmosphere”, and don’t mind catching a bus or Über to avoid the parking puzzle, you might like to check the attendance histogram (on Google maps) to target their “quiet time”? Again, can’t fault the food, it’s spot on and good value for money, and would recommend with caveats above, but I won’t be back in a hurry. (Still have ringing in my ears at 10am the following morning - don’t like!)

Hi, I attended your restaurant on Saturday 14th November for a booking about 7:30pm and I just wanted to say that the food and service were absolutely fabulous!!! We were a table of 7 and served by a really helpful girl named Grace I believe? She was so friendly and helped us decide exactly how much food our table would need and even suggested we have our entrees and shared mains first and then we could change our tacos orders afterwards if we end up being fuller than we expected at the beginning of the night. Service was prompt and the food was delicious! We liked all the dishes we had. I really want to emphasise the exemplary service we had. Grace was the epitome of excellent customer service and should be rewarded for it! We will definitely return and recommend your restaurant to anyone looking for attentive and satisfying service and food.

Excellent service and huge range of tasty and well presented snack and main meal dishes that suited the various gluten-free, vegetarian and meat eating members of our party of six people. We loved the Sangria and the Mojito, drank a couple of bottles of Mother's Milk from the Barossa, we finished with espressos of various strengths and shared the dessert menu, with the corn cake and the brownies being favoured by most, simply a wonderful family gathering. Great bar outfit, comfortable and warm seatings and plenty of exciting tastes. Worth every penny spent.

An easy 10/10. We ate on a Sunday night and chose only from the vegan menu. We had empanadas, KFC tacos and nachos. We tried the jalapeño and peach margarita and an Argentinian beer. Everything was unbelievably tasty and portions were not too big and not too small so they were spot on value for money. I could not get over how detailed each dish was with hundreds of ingredients... the skill of the chefs is obvious. The front of house staff were also exceptional which usually tells you a bit about the fairness and kindness of the owners. This might be my new favourite Adelaide restaurant. The food is just wonderful and the atmosphere outside can make you think you're overseas rather than right on Glen Osmond Road. Suggest having a long Sunday tapas lunch rather than an traditional meal to make the most of it, and def have the ceviche kingfish. Expensive, and unless you spend big you won't come away stuffed. Nice choices of South American beers.
