We went as a party of 9. The food was amazing except for the brisket. Its not Texas brisket at all, it was a fail. Should never be chewy or fatty. The Camembert with pieces of burnt toast scraped . A big no no . Loved the ipad ordering. Safe in the pandemic. We will be back. Sort out the brisket. Thanks, great atmosphere

Came here for a burger a few weeks ago and were delighted with what was on offer. We were seated quickly out the front which is a great little spot to people watch. We ordered burgers and they came out quite quickly. Chips were super crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The burger was tasty and delicious. Staff were friendly and made sure our meal was all ok. Will be back to try the steak in the future.

The service and food was absolutely top notch. The tablets are a great idea, freeing up staff to serve while you decide on your order, but they are also more than happy to help with ordering if you need it. The food was delicious, could not fault anything, the drinks arrived quickly, all the meals came out together so nobody was left waiting, and everything was cooked to perfection.

Excellent night out with someone special, I had the southwest chicken burger which was simply awesome only thing that could make it better would be a crispier coating on the chicken. My wife had the pork ribs which were wonderfully tender falling off the bone. Beers were fantastic easy decision to come back in future.

Great food, friendly staff, awesome selection of beers in a great location. Day on the beach or down the coast and drop in for lunch or dinner whenever you want, go and enjoy. We'll definitely be back, Uber next time though I wanna try all the beers!!

First visit to the Keg and Barrel last night. Had mixed reviews from a few friends that had visited so wasn't sure what to expect. The food was certainly pricey, but the old saying..."You get what you pay for" certainly applied here. The steaks were pricey...but everyone at our table enjoyed theirs!! I had the beef burger and it was delicious, served with crispy delicious chips. That was probably the only comment around the table that at those prices you should probably be served a side salad or extra veg with the meal, but instead you paid $3 extra for sauces and extra for salads. Service was quick and friendly...tho when they opened the front door while we were still eating and the freezing wind was blowing in...felt like we were being rushed out a bit so rather than order more drinks or coffee we left. Overall a nice experience, just a shame it's a little pricey which means we can't afford to go there as often as we would probably like. Special occasions only.

Very expensive for what you get here. Sauces are an additional cost on top of the already high base price. While food was ok I found it less flavoursome than I had hoped. In summary; an ok place however I can go elsewhere and get a meal the same size but tastier and also cheaper.

Food was DELICIOUS. Well priced, generous portions and very yummy. Sadly this was overshadowed by the cold/indifferent service. It almost felt like us dining there was an inconvenience to them. Shared entrees were served with no plates to share and we had to ask for knives to go with the forks on the table. We felt rushed ordering as the kitchen was closing at 7:30 which seemed quite early. While we were still eating and there were still about four other tables of people they started vacuuming which seemed odd and kind of made us feel like we should leave. At 8:35 we were told they were closing in 10 minutes which again seemed quite early. Incredible food that if the service was better I would definitely come back for... but with the odd, not very welcoming vibe I’m not sure we’ll come back.

First time at this establishment for a birthday 4 ladies very impressed with every meal at table this is carnivores heaven the meat was all cooked beautifully! Not cheap but the serves are huge so well worth the price we all went home with containers of excess! Would definitely recommend

Not too bad but the quality of the steaks were not matching the price. Having to pay extra for the side dish also felt a little much considering the price. Staff were good but our booking was not there when we arrived. We were able to get a table anyway. Electronic menus were simple to use and were explained well. We were also offered a choice of a traditional written menu if preferred.

The beef burger was really nice. Cheapest steak was $32, only comes with hand cut potatoes. Costs extra for a tiny jug of gravy, I think $3. If you want a side salad or veg that all costs more. Food is pricey. Jug of beer was $18, that was pretty reasonable.

Nice looking place. We had good service on our visit and my burger was nice. Great selection of craft beers which were very nice. Just have to watch the pricing. They offer sauces which they charge you extra for, if you order a drink in a tall glass they charge the spirit, tall glass fee, then for a mixer. Waitress persuaded one guest in our table to get the tomahawk steak... 98 dollars. He didnt know until we got the bill. Another guest got a steak and said no to extra sides they offered but he did get sauce which they charged him for. What came out was a plate with a small cup of sauce and a steak... nothing else. Could be a nice place but the sneaky menu pricing will ensure I wont be back.

We sat down around 5:30pm and was shown how to use the iPad ordering system , I loved it . I’m unsure how many people before had so many issues as we found it super fast and easy . Entree came out within 10 mins drinks straight away . Our service was perfect , dishes cleaned as soon as they noticed . Mains was great and by the time we ordered dessert we waited a little bit more but it was due to the place being busy . All up the service and food was 100% . I’d say take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt and try this place yourself , we will be returning . Keep up the great work ❤️

I really loved the atmosphere and decor in this new restaurant. We had a party of 7 adults and 2 toddlers which children's seats and meals were catered for. I ordered the beef ribs which were sadly quite dry but everyone else was very happy with burgers and pork ribs.

Pros: delicious craft beer on tap. Ribs are to die for Cons: the chef shouldn't advertise blue steak if they can't cook it blue. We ordered a couple of trifecta and a medium rare steak. The medium rare steak was perfect with lovely grill marks on the outside. The blue steak with the trifecta was still cold in the middle and the outside was a uniform grey.
