The meat was delicious. My wife loved the squid. And the sauce was great with the meats. The beef steaks, lamb and crunchy pork belly were my favs. Will probably go alacarte next time and pick my favourite meats now that I've tried them all. All the meat was tender.

Delicious steak and awesome service! After reading some of the average reviews, we were not sure to expect but could not be more impressed. Our daughters 'kids meal' came out super fast and our steaks were cooked exactly how we asked. The only little thing we would suggest is maybe an option of potato or chips on the side. Great atmosphere and all staff we had contact with were super friendly and made us feel like valued customers!

Love loved this place! Had a fabulous shared meat platter with my partner, we both love to eat so we were sceptical about the share platters but was not disappointed!! We ordered the 'butchers selection' for $99 which come with an attractive amount of different meats all cooked beautifully. We also ordered a side of rosemary potato chips and an entree of 'wood grilled squid' and by all means was the best squid I've ever had. Recommend this place to anyone wanting to try a good Argentinean restaurant. 10/10

Wow. It’s been a long time I’ve had a steak that good. Well more like hunk of meat but it was delicious, well seasoned, juicy and cooked perfectly. Friendly attentive staffed. Large place so no trouble fitting me in and open Easter Monday. I’ve I was a local I’d become a regular.

Great atmosphere, staff were awesome. We chose the all you can eat option. The entrees were all tasty, we followed this with the meat selection. Again, all very tasty and some great variety here. Maybe 6 or 7 different things in each category. The waiter kept encouraging us to order more mains and more entrees but we had our eyes on the prize and wanted to sample their desserts... they did not disappoint. We'll be back! Oh, try their cocktails too!

A little on the pricey side once you add in the essential side dishes, but still worth hitting up La Boca Bar &Grill for an amazing Argentinian style feed.

Argentinian High Tea experience was a let down unfortunately. The service staff were polite however was also a let down for this particular event. The restaurant itself is lovely with couch booths however we were seated in a high bar & stool section which was not mentioned upon booking. A high tea event would preferably be better suited with normal sit down tables. Food that was assumingly meant to be hot arrived lukewarm and tea & coffee also lukewarm. The set price high tea was more sweets and not enough savoury, but Sangrias we purchased as an add on were perfect though.

Nice service, food was absolutely delicious!!! Everything was perfect. I didn't like the high tables personally, it made it a lot less cosy for the kind of meal we were looking for, however it was still really nice as the service was fantastic, our waiter was very good and accommodating to all our requests, and was always checking on us (not in an annoying way). Would definitely come back when I'm in Adelaide next.

Beautiful food in every conceivable way, but boy you will pay for it. I was here for their Easter buffet lunch. The flame roasted meats were spectacular - the beef melted in my mouth - and the salads and sides were beautiful too. The restaurant itself is also comfortable and charming. However, I blanched at the $70 per head price, excluding drinks, and the front of house staff seemed a little unavailable. The a la carte menu is exasperating, too - the cheapest main is $32, and there's really limited choices overall. Only come here if you are a sophisticated carnivore looking to impress a date, and maybe skip the taxi to walk home to save on costs.

Unfortunately their service really missed the mark in my experience. There was a lack of attentiveness and the management team should have been supporting their staff and filling in the gaps in service. (I came in about 8pm which wasn’t during their busiest time) I sat on the table for a bit before having my order taken. No water given to the table. Just a sloppy experience in general. Im a big believer in if you can’t deliver great table service don’t do it at all. I would have been happy to order at a counter and it would have probably gotten a better rating too. Food was fresh and tasty, your paying more for a quality product which some people don’t seem to understand when they complain about portion sizes vs cost.

Good atmosphere and the food was great as well. Got the meat banquet and wedges and salad. They were able to swap the meats if you did not want a type else it was beef, lamb, and pork. Booked online to reserve a spot was quick and easy to do that. Only issue was that it was a "cashless" establishment so either you needed to have the correct cash as no change is given or else pay with a card in which they whack on a processing fee which adds up as the food is pricey.

Went there for high tea which was a nice venue for it. The selection was more on the sweet side with lots of little desserts. I think it would be improved if the tea, coffee and savoury food were served hot. And also if we were provided a bottle of table water and new plates after the savoury dish. We ended up buying a jug of sangria and that was delicious!

Such a warm and comfortable atmosphere the second you walk in. With so many different cuts of meat ranging from big platters to 1.2kg T-bone to special done Argentinean skirt steaks to 32 dry aged sirloin steak ... (EVEN SEAFOOD).... Yes I tried them all... Yes I will keep coming back! The service staff and barmen were so welcome and fluid to our large table of 7 with many minds changing on what we wanted.... They explained everything without hesitation and it felt like they wanted us there!

It was oke, you get an discount when you come on Mon&Tue so that's fine. Defenitly nothing special. The main comes with some chimichuri sauce and a Tomato, sides you have to order seperatly. Ordered my steak medium rare and the sides where cooked medium rare but the middle was defenitly rare what I discovered after the waiter asked if everything was fine.

Really good food, fantastic service, and an amazing atmosphere. The prices are definitely worth what you get, and the meats are incredibly well cooked. We ordered the bread and dips (loved the basil and pesto in specific), the mixed platter for two (which is definitely enough for two regular people), the warm pulse salad and chips. The salad was amazingly delicious and I would be happy to have it as a standalone meal by itself.

Ambience and decor is nice however I was not very impressed with the food. We went for the 2 person platter for 89$ and as we do not eat pork asked for it to b removed but got nothing else extra. The meat was just ok. Nothing to write about. Pork sausage was replaced with lamb sausage. The mock tail was ok, not really worth 10$. The desert (churros) were the highlight. Coffee was flatty n could be better. The service was very slow as according to the waiter they were very busy with in room orders. Overall I think it’s a one time place to visit. It’s not worth AUD 75$ person; should be more like 50-55$ (remember we didn’t order any alcohol). But it’s central city..

The place was packed out when we arrived at 5:45 but the staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the La Boca Signature Fire Grill for the 2 of us and were told that this is being cooked en mass by the chefs over the coals as we speak and they all come out hot and ready at 6pm. Sure enough, dead on 6pm the waiters came pouring out from the kitchen with boards covered in deliciously grilled meats, all cooked perfectly tender and juicy. The drinks menu offers good value. I recommend the $35 Chain Of Fire Shiraz Cab, a decent drop.

Food & drinks: Absolutely scrumptious food. The share plate (pictured) was an excellent way to sample all the meats on offer. Highly recommend the corn cobs and pumpkin puree sides. Cocktails were also well mixed and a wide range to choose from. Service: this was the only let down; waitress didn't remember or didn't write down the order correctly and missed a dish. Also, ignored a request whereby we asked if we could have 3 empanadas instead of 2 for my brother's birthday. We were happy to pay more. Although she took the order and said she'd check there was no follow up and we only received two. Missing out on paying customers request considering it was a birthday it was a little disappointing to not receive an answer or upgrade for the request. Atmosphere: spacious, relaxed and fun atmosphere with open kitchen to watch the chefs at work. Variety of seating options from long bar tables, booths and regular tables. Perfect for groups!

We've been to La Boca many times but our last experience was a little disappointing. Medium rare steaks were ordered and we received rare steaks, which were happy to accept, with one exception. Unfortunately, the exception was a blue rare steak which was then sent back to the cook. The staff then returned the same steak which still looked rare. A very disappointing effort from a restaurant that should know how to cook a medium rare steak. I won't be returning in a hurry and cannot recommend a "bar and grill" that doesn't know how to grill a steak correctly. It was just disappointing for one person in our group of 8 so 3 stars only.

Compare this place to a traditional, western grill rather than any sort of resemblance to an Argentinian asado. I've been here on two occasions. The first for Friday night and entree for nibbles. Entrees were absolutely amazing, a tad pricey, but worth it. The second time we were lured by the Asador pork cooking since midday. Again, the food was exceptional, but for the price we paid on the tasting plate the amount of food didn't justify the quantity. An argument can be made for quality over quantity. If that's the case pop around to KHLA as see what they've got to offer.

If you want deliciousness you need not go any further. If I was personally rating this place it would be a standout five. For me the Gaucho steak was cooked to perfection and the chimmichuri sauce is BOOM. The sides fries and salad and corn yummy. Apparently to the catch of the day was phenomenal. I do though have to go by concenses and one found their steak a bit gritty which unfortunately disrupted their experience. Still I would most definitely recommend this place.

We were visiting down from Melbourne and thought we would give this place ago! We ordered an empanada, a 250g eye fillet steak and a burger! It was quite delicious, the empananda was $9 for one which I believe is very very expensive, not worth the price! The steak needs to be served with a side as it was only a piece of steak with 2 potato pieces, also not worth the price! But the burger was delicious and worth $29! We also had a beverage each, I highly recommend the Colada Cocktail!!! It was a once of restaurant for us only because it was on th pricey side- wouldn't recommend for a huge family unless you're willing to pay the price!!! Overall, food was good!

Absolutely delicious meal, and entrees. The Steak is truly wonderful, staff were pleasant and friendly. Great venue. The side sauce with the steak/entrees are amazing. Was a great selection of cocktails and beers. Be aware, no sides come with any main steak dishes and have to be ordered separately.

My favourite place to come with the boys. Best steak in South Australia. I challenge anyone to go here and not enjoy the food. Absolutely incredible. After a great meal we head across the alley to the pool lounge. Must do for anyone who hasn't tried this restaurant.

We've been here for few times and can recommend food and coffees 100% both on weekdays and weekends prices are nice and dishes size is not disappointing. I would only leave a small note about the meat grills - by default they come rare and you aren't asked what's your preference so remember to notify the kitchen before placing the order. We forgot 💩🙈 but a very friendly waiter (hello King!) took our plate back to cook it well done 👌🏻 We loooove the sitting, the music and the atmosphere in general here!

This is the first Argentinean restaurant I have ever been to and it was a pretty good experience. The service was pretty good, and it had a great atmosphere. There was quite a few choices on the menu and in general, everyone was happy with their food. I got the ribs which weren’t bad, but I have definitely had better. Desert was yummy and the cocktails were really nice.

Food was great! But service was V poor. 2 or more waiters were checking on us (table of 4) with no clear communication to each other about their areas. Drinks came out slow. Some drinks (like table water) never came after asking for again. Neither of the writers had note pads for our orders... given that some people dont need them - that's all well and good - but as a business this doesn't work for all staff. Our entrees weren't entirely correct. And the bill had an extra $65 worth of items we didn't order on it. Food and beverages were great, but service was a massive let down. Let your staff write orders and communicate about sections. Would eat here again if It was a quiet night and I could trust the servers.

Definitely a place to come if you like meats. The signature fire grill is amazing. Swear the mashed potatoes are 80% butter and 20%potato. Dipping sauce is something else too... Will definitely be back. Service was fantastic.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a group of nearly 30 people. Food was beautiful. We highly recommend the beef empanada, fish of the day (barramundi), grilled sweet corn hot cakes with mushrooms, we were hoping to try to try the beef ribs but unfortunately no stock. Our service guy, Gonzalo was amazing! Thank you for accomodating our guests really well. Service was very good. Staff were all pleasant. My suggestion: for the fire grill, I think it is better served in a larger wooded plate rather than glass plate as it was difficult to slice the meat in a small plate and having another meat on top of the crispy pork loses its crispiness. I had more expectations for it as it was the recommendations of many. Otherwise, the food in the fire grill was great, its just that the way it was served can be better. The drinks were fairly priced and we loved their mojito, sangria, and wine selections. They even offer a jug serving for most drinks to accomadate us as a group. Overall, great experience! Well I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner with a bunch of friends for the first time. When we walked in the guy that was meant to serve us just walked straight past and started sitting the people behind us. Then one of the people at our table had a steak that was almost raw in the centre when it was meant to be medium rare. Then we went to the bar for a drink and the same guy that didn't serve us before was 'too busy' again and I left the bar in frustration from standing there. Luckily the rest of the food was cooked pretty good.

Thought we’d try something different and have Argentinian food. Service was very good, but we found the signature platter meats to be very oily. So much so that it became too hard to eat. The meat was very tender and would have been magnificent if it wasn’t for all the oil dripping off it. Empanadas were excellent.

The meat here is always amazing but give yourself enough belly-space to enjoy at least two sides. The bread with chimichurri-styled dipping sauce is worthy of a visit all on its own. The atmosphere of the place is a great blend of casual-meets-special and further allows the incredible ingredient-driven menu to shine. Strongly recommend making a booking as the place does fill up. Also be prepared to do a longer sit-down as you'll want to give yourself enough time to properly enjoy this meat-heavy meal.

This restaurant is quite lively and loud, probably not what we were looking for when we first booked but that didn't detract too much from the experience. We ordered the grilled queso (queso fundido) and were a little disappointed that it was just a molten ramekin of cheese with no bread or anything served on the side but we asked for bread and that was quickly rectified. We had the Chef's grill selection and corn between the two of us and it was quite large, we couldn't eat everything but got the rest to go. The meat was superbly cooked and I can definitely recommend the grill, there's a fair amount of skill in the meat cookery on that platter. The service is a little average with people trying to bring us other tables drinks on more than one occasion but overall an enjoyable experience.

La Boca offer a good selection of meats cooked somewhat traditionally over coals or a fire. The meat cuts weren't overly lean, meat was inconsistent and chewy and didn't warrant the price tag. Having said that the sides were great and the service was also nice and friendly. Beer selection was quite average with very little quality local craft beer (I don't consider Prancing Pony's core range to be good local craft). Atmosphere was loud but dull - not the same vibe as a bustling Argentinian restaurant like you'd find elsewhere in Adelaide.

Recently had my 35th birthday lunch there. Great atmosphere and plenty of selections of grog. Good selection of food for meat eaters unfortunately the serving size us half what you'd expect for the price that was paid. We ordered a range of platters and steaks to find that no side or chips are included.... For a $90 platter it's half what you get from the German arms in comparison and 20 bucks more. Service was good to begin with, and it was wasn't even busy and we waited until we left to have our plates taken away. They did support split bills but at $60 a head with one round of beer it's alot to swallow. Last thing we noticed was one of the 3 sou vide baths was very dirty and it was obvious that the bag had broken during cooking, and during paying we observed the chefs arguing about whom was responsible. Love the bar, the couches, toilet artwork and the view on North Terrace :) Advice: spend more and goto Hereford bestow

As main we order short ribs flank steak and grill vegetables, the ribs were cold and pre cooked and after I ask to re heat them they were ok, not great. As Argentinian I have to tell thy weren't well cooked. The flank steak was a good surprise, It was great and we'll cooked also the vegetables very good.

The mains Rib eye - medium was friends choice of cooking Soft tender and just delicious My eye fillet - medium to rare Accompanied with chimichuri Super tender with great marbling Very happy overall Great food and beer !!
