Great food and drinks, amazing atmosphere and friendly.staff. I had a fantastic night with my friends from NSW/QLD/VIC and we all loved the flavours. So well done. The Vietnamese G&T is a must and we had the “spoil us” package where they literally make it up for you with the best dishes

If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this is not the place. Chicken curry with rice was ok. But that beef noodle was a bit disappointing, too much rice noodle not enough of soup. But if you are looking for good atmosphere for a drink with friends, that’s fine.

Booked here @ 5:30pm before a show, got given an average table and asked to be moved (place was empty) but it couldn't be accommodated. Food was very yum, but a little expensive. For 2 entrees, 2 mains and 2 drinks each was $200 and the portions are not that big. However the food was fresh and tasty. Overall 80% - room for improvement.

Madame Hanoi's chilli fest is on again until May14th. Various levels of chilli are on offer with some dishes that will make you want to do the Tango whilst playing the violin! To cool down try Madame's Martini with coriander gin and as of today they have launched their very own gin made by the fabulous Blend Etiquette.

Delicious food and attentive service. We ordered the Let us feed you Seafood option and loved it. As is typical with this option, at first you're worried it won't be enough, but in the end we were stuffed! Great flavours. Really enjoyed the chili prawns and chocolate mousse dessert.

My son and I went to Madame Hanoi. Absolutely loved it. Delicious food, great service and they gave us a booth where music was not so loud so we could actually have a conversation. Service was great. I am so glad we chose to go there. Portions are perfect. You can order a variety of things and share. You can under order and if still hungry, just order more. Full drink service. Definitely recommend. Seatings all around, including upstairs. A must experience.

I flew to Adelaide specifically to go to Madame Hanoi. The food and service is always great. Fine here for the experience & the food. If you want to do the banquet but don’t particularly eat say (seafood) just let them know and they’ll accommodate your request if possible. You won’t leave here hungry.

Excellent service! Friendly staff My partner had Saigon style chilli prawns and thought it was a bit spicy but if it says “chilli prawns” I wouldn’t expect anything different 😂😂 I’ve had the Vietnamese chicken curry which was superb as the crispy cauliflower. Highly recommend. Will come Back .

I love this place so much and it’s always busy and last night when there was cricket on and Billy Elliot at the festival centre I would say they were understaffed, especially in the bar. The young lady serving was lovely, except she served some young guys before me even though I had been waiting longer. Ah the joys of being over 50 and therefore invisible. The food was lovely. The crispy chicken and the tuna are stand outs for me. The food arrived before our drinks, one cocktail a Coke Zero and a lemon lime and bitters, and I had to go and chase them up. Not ideal. Another bartender would have alleviated the issue. The food used to be someone unique but now lots of places are doing similar fare, the fitout especially upstairs is unique and lovely.

Awesome authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Adelaide.... It's one of my favourites outside of Saigon !! Service is reasonable, not 100% attentive but still good enough. Food has plenty of flavour and pricing provides good value, be sure to make a booking as it does get busy !! Menunhas plenty of options for those with intolerance and special dietary needs.

We all ordered of the small bites menu and were not disappointed. Some of the favourites were the soft shell crab sliders, the scallops and the calamari. All the food came out very quickly and the staff were attentive and checked to see if everything was to our liking. Would be happy to return ans sample more of the delicious food

I have had lunches at Madame Hanoi before and I recently had some of their high tea food and I was left speechless. I cannot express how delicious the food was. The 6 dishes we were served were: Seared Tuna (nam jim, asian slaw and sesame noodles crisps), Masterstock Braised Chicken Bao (mango, yuzu koshu mayo, pickled banana blossoms and chilli), Soft Shell Crab (squid ink brioche spider sliders), Crispy Noodle (confit duck, watermelon and duck liver pate), Lemond Curd Jelly (meringue and raspberry) and Mini Cones (chocolate ganache and Vietnamese coffee mousse), all served with Hendrick's Gin Tea. I highly recommend everyone to check out their Hendrick's High Tea to experience amazing French Vietnamese cuisine.

We attended Madame Hanoi for a friend's 60th. Wonderful location and beautiful fit out, its a warm and welcoming venue. We had a $45 set menu and the food was simply sensational, however the amount of food provided was simply not enough. I'd be tempted to return and order full meals (as the food was spectacular). Great drinks selection (however we were upstairs, and the bar staff were forever running downstairs to fill simple orders, meaning delays). Staff were friendly. Worth a look if you are in town!

My favourite restaurant in Adelaide! As a vegan, I struggle to find vegan options anywhere, let alone good vegan options. Madame Hanoi have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. My favourite (Pictured below) being the salt and pepper tofu with a side of white rice! The salt and pepper tofu is the best I've ever had, it's filled with such delicious flavour. I've tried many other restaurant's salt and pepper tofu, but Madame Hanoi beats them all by far. It is a little pricey, but you are paying for top quality!

The minute I walked into Madame Hanoi....I was Delighted, the place was Very Tastefully decorated, the subtle lighting set the ambience Beautifully! The aromas emanating from the kitchen make your mouth water & your knees weak!! 🤭 I, ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place😍 The food is AMAZING...A little Pricey, BUT....I Certainly did NOT mind paying their prices for such AMAZING FOOD in such a Gorgeously, CHARMING little place! Had a 70 wagu beef it was good a little disappointing on the service at the end though. My friend asked to use the bathroom before we left and got told no after turning their noses up at him for using a prepaid visa to make payment. Food was a solid 4-4.5 star just let down by the person taking payments.

Spectacular food and atmosphere. Our waiting staff were first class. I would however like to see a lot more vegan options. Asian greens were slightly overcooked, but perhaps that is just my personal preference for my greens to be slightly crunchy. Definitely recommend the sticky eggplant, so yummy.

Was wanting to try Madame Hanoi for quite some time, did yesterday with my partner and it was beyond what I expected it to be! All the food that we ordered was fantastic (Grilled scallops, soft shell crab sliders, Sticky lamb ribs, chicken skewers) & the cocktail (Chilli mai tai) was lovely too.. Special add on to our experience was the lovely staff there - Jade & Raj took such great care of everything 💜💜 Definitely will be back again!

Lovely restaurant setting. Unfortunately many of the dishes were over seasoned. The mix of salty, spicy and sweet was just either “out” eg. not balanced, or too much. Some dishes were really good including the lamb ribs which were perfect. The fried tofu was was the most salty, and that’s not easy off a base of bland tofu. The greens were very good, as was the pork boa - a standout. Service very efficient and friendly.

I visited Madame Hanoi for a work lunch. The vibe of this restaurant is very cool and the decor / artwork is outstanding! The wait staff were very attentive and polite. The food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The only downfall was the food service. there were 4 of us for lunch and only one meal came out at a time. this was not a busy time for the restaurant so i was very disappointed in this. one person would finish their meal before the next one came. if the food was timed correctly they would have got 5 stars from me.

Came off the street and they were able to fit the three of us in in the bar area. We got a large booth, which was more comfortable than a table anyway. We ordered crab buns as well as other food but the crab buns were my favourite. I'd go there just for them. My friends had Espresso Martinis, which looked great and they loved them. Excellent food and service! The menu looks a little challenging but everything we've ordered on our 2 visits were great. Great taste and presentation. Just ask the helpful staff on what to order. Spicy but really full flavour. We shared and entree and 2 mains and had a cocktail each (Singapore Slings only $15!) plus sparkling water was $120. Make an evening of it (we did last time) or get in early for a pre-show dinner.

I accidentally clicked the wrong time on the website so when I turned up for what I thought was my booking it had been and gone. I turned up embarrassed and the staff worked hard to get me into a full restaurant. Service was above and beyond, saved my night and food was amazing. Will be back.

Me and my date had a fantastic experience here. We decided to come here due to the great social media advertising of your restaurant. When we walked in the we were seating in a very nice booth which is really enjoyed. Service was fantastic - always somebody checking to see if we were okay and or if we needing something. We had 2 bao bun options and we highly enjoyed the pork buns preferably. The other dark bun was a bit doewy with not many ingredients in it. The pork buns were enjoyable although I got a few strong chilli mouthfuls throughout eating. The scallops were beautiful and the curry was the biggest standout for me. Delicious and absolutely indulged into it. We will be back in the future. Highly recommend for a date night.

Brilliant food assured this place of a 5 star rating. The restaurant itself is ok but suffers a bit from its acoustics; either that, or it was designed to replicate the noise of a busy Asian capital. Either way, if quiet conversations with long, elegant, thoughtful pauses is how you like to communicate with your dinner companion, this may not be for you. Staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful, huge wine choices with staff able to direct you to your preferred style , tastings available. However, as it should, it was the food that took front of stage. The portions were fine, the variety good and the flavors fresh, subtle and brilliantly balanced. As I find myself increasingly critical of what restaurants offer, it was pleasing to walk away from a place that does stuff you could never dream of making at home.

Madame Hanoi is one of the most delicious places to eat in Adelaide. The office had a great celebratory lunch and ordered several plates of food, considering our large order we were served very quickly and the food was astounding. Even though the restaurant is right next to the casino it doesn't feel like you're anywhere near it while eating. I enjoyed this very much. Would rate 6 stars if I could.

On the particular occasion we went the beer were reasonable quick to the table but the cocktails took over 15min and one came out wrong, with that the cocktails weren't bad but not worth the $18 and nor was the asahi worth the $13. Food was good but not great, we had the boa buns, lamb ribs, salt and pepper squid, grilled chicken skewers and salmon. Service was again good but not great, we did receive a free cocktail due to one being made incorrectly but where was the incorrect one going to go anyway.

I had heard about Madame Hanoi and finally went last night. Excellent food. The food came out nice and quick too. The only part I didn't like was sharing the plate when we did the tasting menu. Three of us got the tasting, but we weren't all sitting next to each other. It just made it a bit fiddly getting the tasting plate down to the other end of the table whilst everyone else is trying to eat. I would definately go back though :)

Fantastic food besides the delivery of meals. Mine first, 5mins later the next one, another 4mins later the next 2. So im looking at my king fish going cold for 14mins while im politely waiting for the other meals to arrive. Fish became dry and chewy. Flavour was nice. I chose from the "larger meals" but was relatively small in comparison to my friends...so i ate iff all their plates 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Drinks service took a long time too... red wine glasses came to the table and took another 10mins to come back to the table with the bottle🤨. Should be hit in drinks service as this is where money is made. A nice throw back was due to the delay in meals service they shouted a round of 4 desserts. Thankyou. The food quality trumped the service so I'll definitely be back sometime to try alternative dishes. Hope the service improves.

I also liked the sitting booths in the bar area which were comfortable and spacious. The music playing was also lovely. Being located in the casino complex it allowed exploration of the casino as well. Would highly recommend it.

Had dinner there last night. The service was excellent -- attentive and polite-- and the food was outstanding. The dau phu (salt & pepper tofu, coriander, chilli. lime) had a great spice balance with enough of a kick but not so much as to overwhelm the other flavours; green mango and papaya salad was fresh and tasty. Both good sized portions. Finished with the sticky lamb ribs -- absolutely loved it. Wine selection is also very good -- the SC Pannell Syrah I had complemented the lamb nicely. I'd definitely go back.

Very heavy handed use of MSG on some dishes, the sauce on the chicken wings were so loaded it made our lips and tongues prickle. Haven't had that happen since eating cheap Chinese sweet and sour decades ago, I am fairly sensitive to MSG so may not be a problem to everyone.

Walk in off the street or book? Have been here a few times and would recommend you secure a spot before committing. Located near the railway station and the casino keeps it very busy. I’m never had such an amazing experience in Vietnamese cuisine!! We experienced the “Let us spoil you” feast... and what a spread of food we were provided. The grilled scallops were as tasty beyond my imagination, and don’t spill a drop because you will truly savour it!! We also had the Szechuan tofu.. now I’m no tofu fan actually I’ve scratched tofu out of my dictionary.. now this tofu has changed my mind around this soft whitish bean.. and when it’s mixed with carrot, coriander and chilli lime mayonnaise.. then it’s back on the menu. Hint: remember that after you eat the Saigon-style chilli prawns there’s one more dish coming..... crispy pork belly wrapped in lettuce leaves!! So come with a big appetite.
