Always very busy and we’ve regularly waited one or even two hours for food, but we keep coming back. The food is just that great, and the staff are fantastic and very warm. Strong contender for best fish and chips in SA from the kiosk. The dine in restaurant has a lovely ambience and a gorgeous sea view. The Persian love cake was exceptional.

Pearl is an amazing restaurant with some of the most stunning views at Aldinga Beach. The location is just wonderful, and has been so tastefully renovated to create a welcoming space. The service is phenomenal, and could not fault them at all. We felt comfortable and had our needs met at every request. The food is delicious. Such a well-designed menu. This is now on our list of top spots to visit when we’re in the area. 5 stars! :)

The food was good (solid 4 stars) and beautifully presented but not the best value for money (we had the tasting menu). While the service was OK, I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were rushed (we were booked for 8 pm for dinner on Friday). Having discovered other places around the area, I think I will give Pearl a miss next time.

Great location with gorgeous view. Staff were friendly and attentive. Dishes were well presented. However won’t recommend the set menu as the they were really basic food but just presented in a fancy way, a bit overpriced. Also, I understand that group customers without booking could makeup the serving hard, but we spent one and half hour there, half hour for the actual eating, and the rest time we were just starving and expecting for food. Hopefully there can be more food options on the menu.

Came to dinner here with my partner on Saturday night. Friendly staff greeting started our night of well. Food ordering was explained to us and it was very nice what we had. I found the table to be a little small for my liking and being open like it is and with food around the flys were a bit of a pain. After asking for another larger table the staff managed to get another table to add to ours. Fine by me. Now I don’t have to reach on the floor for my wine bottle to top up our drinks. I think this restaurant is a pearl for the area.

The food was outstanding, the long lovers lunch for Valentine's Day was an exquisite array of the oceans best seafood treats dressed in gorgeous mediterranean flavours and timed to perfection. Incredible location and the staff were very accomodating at the start. When we did receive food (we'll over 1hr for the first of six dishes) if was delicious, but in the wrong order. The larger dishes all arrived first, then the smaller (more entree dishes) came 45mins later! Our chips were the last dish to come, quite ridiculous. When we very politely asked about the long delay, then the staff were much less accommodating. We loved the food! Would we come back? Probably, when we have 3 hours to sit comfortably for a great meal. But then again....

We heard about their Friday dinner with a tasting menu, and we had to try it out! Pearl focuses on locally and sustainably sourced seafood, which was absolutely delicious. Overall the food was excellent, and the choice of drinks was fairly extensive, but the food came out a little bit slowly. The 7 course meal took almost 4 hours to complete, which wasn't a big issue, as we didn't really have anything else planned for after. But just be aware that it will take a long time if you are planning to do other things after dinner. That's the only reason not to give it 5 stars. . Olives: we don't normally like olives, but these were really tasty! Not too salty or overwhelming. . Spencer Gulf Kingfish crudo: super fresh! Really loved the texture of the fish, which was tender yet firm. Delicious ingredients! . Crispy fried school prawns: Loved these prawns! They were really nicely fried, tender, and full of flavours. . Baharat lentil salad: This was a Middle Eastern themed dish that was very nicely done. Didn't expect a vegetarian dish in the middle of a seafood dinner, but this was quite refreshing! Very yummy! . Port Lincoln mussels & Goolwa pipis: omgggg we loved this dish! The mussels and pipis were sooooo delicious! The sauce was amazing as well, which was excellent for dipping the bread in. Favourite dish of the night! . Cape Jervis calamari: This was a chargrilled whole squid that was perfectly done. It was full of smokey flavours, and was just super tasty! The squid was nice and tender, and didn't have a single bit that was chewy. Overall fantastic dish. . Baklava cheesecake: this was a twist on a classic sweet dish, and it was very yummy! The cheesecake itself was not too heavy, and the baklava was not overly sweet. The pastry was nice and flaky. Just a great way to end the meal!

Best coffee around Aldinga Beach . Lovely staff and we did breakfast and coffee for a couple morning's this week. They even spoilt our rescue dog 🐕. Great staff and food!! Ofcourse the view and location is the best in Australia 😁 👍👍

Amazing location; great food. It’s quite expensive and popular so get there early or order ahead on busy weekends. Lovely outdoor grassed area to sit at if no seats or with a doggo.

Spectacular beachfront location. We enjoyed all of the dishes, which are designed to be eaten family style. Portions are relatively small, so be prepared to order many different dishes. The service was OK, but I think there is room for improvement. It is still new though, and I looking forward to trying Pearl again.

We had chips and salt ‘n pepper squid a couple of months ago at the kiosk. Awesome quality and reasonable size. Don’t expect your usual ‘minimum chips’ fish and chips style. Their food is a bit more expensive than your average ‘kiosk’ food but it is absolutely worth it both for quality/flavours and views :) and the building architecture is beautiful. The experience led us to book one of their Friday Night Fish dinner. 7 course meal experience! Absolutely AMAZING! Super fresh produce, perfectly cooked fish, balanced flavours , good pace, good sizes, wide selection of local wines, great attentive service, and smiling head chef/owner at the end. We couldn’t fault any of the courses! 6 of them absolutely amazing and 1 amazing :) the only comment we had (which we mentioned on the night to the staff) was that some sort of bread could be offered at the start (perhaps as optional) as we would have liked to soak some of the beautiful leftover sauces and oils from the plates! Unfortunately licking your plate in public is frown upon!! I ended up using my fingers 🤤 Strongly recommended. Super stoked this place survived COVID-19 impact! We will be back!

We went for dinner and left very happy. The set menu was well thought out featuring local ingredients, the wine list is eclectic and the view speaks for itself. The service was exceptional, which was a very positive and frankly unexpected surprise. On the downside, only public toilets are available and surcharges increased the bill a bit, but overall this doesn't detract from the fact that this is a quality place.

After a swim at the beach, make sure you try a tasty egg and bacon roll. Delicious fresh damper roll with a selection of salads carefully placed into your roll. Tops off an already great morning. What a find! Small but delicious and fresh menu and very unique...never had stingray before. Shared platters works well with friends. Nice to know emphasis is on local produce or at least Australian as was the case with the tasty crunchy east coast prawns (small) eaten whole. Liked the fact that the menu is limited. To me this indicates freshness. Saw staff cleaning garfish before grilling. How fresh is that. Wonderful location overlooking Aldinga Beach. Recycled timber indoors (from recently renovated Her Majesty's Theatre) looks and works well as does the rusty corrugated iron outside. Good view to kitchen and charcoal grill. Service great

Great coffee, lovely FOH staff. Second time I’ve been and your wonderful barista is nothing but exceptional. My kids had the spicy fries today and thoroughly enjoyed. Great prices for an exceptional view. Given the covid restrictions they are doing really well trying to manage a busy kitchen, and patrons following the guidelines. I can see how hard that is to enforce with a smile all day, everyday with the adequate signage around. Well done guys. Can’t wait to try more food!
