Piccoli Piatti is an exceptional establishment with excellent staff and a well sourced menu. Arriving here, we had booked a table for a birthday, and the lovely team had organised a candle and a note as specified in our reservation notes. Love this extra care! Our server, Trent, was very charismatic and helpful throughout out whole dining experience. He also managed our corkage. The menu is themed around authentic Italian sourced from SA suppliers, and does not disappoint. The artisanal bread was fresh, with a complementing balsamic & oil side. The oysters were also quite fresh, great size and the tangy sauce matches to combine flavours. The beef ragu gnocci had a beautiful flavour, texture and matched the paired table cheese excellently. All the food was exceptional quality, and reasonable prices points too! Will be coming back here for date night, or a casual lunch out. Also big thanks to Tia for her quality engagement while we handled the bill.

The bruschetta was sensational- we were fighting one another for the toppings that had fallen onto the plate. Bright and vibrant atmosphere with friendly service. A double decker parmigiana gets a five star from me!

Service was 50/50. New fella tending to our table was super friendly. Guy running the place seemed bothered or irritated the one time I approached him for something. Started the night off with melt in your mouth garlic bread, gooey second to none arancini balls and polpette (meatballs - slightly overcooked). Though tasty (and filling - with 2 shared mains to come!) Next up we had the Fritto Misto (pretty much a fancy seafood basket). Though it was tasty I found it slightly overcooked and I found it to have a few too many chips and not enough seafood for the price. Then we had the CAPRI pizza which was so delicious and a perfect base. All up it was a delicious birthday night for my beautiful girlfriend and we finished up with a birthday pavlova which was sticky and gooey and yum. A nice runner up dessert given we asked for a timarisu with a candle in it ahead of time but learnt upon arriving they had run out of tiramisu... It was a mostly tasty evening celebrating the birthday of an amazing woman. Love you wifey x

Been here a couple of times and experienced the same poor service on both occasions. It’s almost like outside diners are forgotten. Waiting 30 minutes for table water and a beer … when staff are asked where drinks or food are they look at you like you’re a pest. Food is good, but a little on the pricey side. Not sure we’ll be back for a third visit.

Easter Sunday I organised lunch for our family. 6 people. I’m a coeliac and can’t eat dairy. Our lunch was amazing food services and choice.. It was so wonderful to go to a restaurant that my eating requirements weren’t an issue. I totally recommend this restaurant you won’t be disappointed.

The manager of the cafe was very kinda & helpful as we booked for 10 people and there was no option on vegetarian platter $22 per person for breakfast but the manager was managed to asked chef & he made us one of the best veg breakfast platter ever! Would love to visit again for sure 🤝👌🏻

Staff were lovely and the decor was nice. The food was okay, but nothing special. Risotto had the consistency of fried rice, not oozy like a good risotto should be. Pizza was average. Arancini was nice.

Recently helped organise an engagement party here in the upstairs function area and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and ample. The staff were really helpful and keen to provide exactly what we needed. Definitely recommend just for an intimate dinner or for hosting a function.

Absolutely delicious meal and outstanding service tonight. We came to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary today (had our first date here and our proposal dinner here) so it’s pretty close to our hearts. We were met with a delightful welcome, a celebratory drink and a dessert on the house! Totally unexpected and delightful. I have to say; tonight’s meals were the best we’ve ever experienced. Arancini, chargrilled prawns, Rib eye and Pork Belly. Totally recommended

It was possibly a bit too noisy. The Pizza was ok and I had bits of several. The main course I had was ok as is evidenced by the fact i ate it for glorified basil and tomato and cheese on toast. I suspect the pork and veal meatballs or the cured pork belly. However I did drink a small glass of Bird In Hand White Wine that was very nice as was the dessert.

Come to Piccoli Piatti on a date last Sunday was greeted by Jess at the door and shown to our table. The restaurant was fresh and comfortable. Very nice looking space with comfortable seating, felt classy but without pretentious atmosphere. Menu prices are good for the food quality and serving size. We had our Christmas party at Piccoli last night. The staff are amazing at accommodating everything, keeping us informed and their customer service is amazing. They catered to our budget and provided a lovely food package which we could design from the main menu. We went for breakfast earlier in ghe day to set up and the breakfast menu is thr best too.

Have been here multiple times with multiple dietary requirements and each time Chef Jamie makes up a 'feed me' menu of literally THE. BEST. FOOD. EVER 🍽️😋🍽️ and even takes the time to bring the dishes to the table himself to explain and have some banter. Their passion for food and service is real, great welcoming laid back atmosphere that works for any occaisions. Do yourself a favour and try it out.

Met a mate for a casual dinner not having been here before but hearing some of the buzz. Was absolutely not disappointed. Great menu for sharing, staff welcoming form the get go and service excellent throughout. Chef came out to our table (and all others) and passionately spoke about his food and made an excellent wine recommendation. Oxtail gnocchi was the highlight and well accompanied by a burrata schiacciata, beef carpaccio and a really tasty artichoke dish. Highly recommend and will return with a bigger group to try more dishes!
