Went there alone for lunch one day and BAM!! Left a great impression. Is I hope I don’t over sell it to others and you should assess the food yourself. Tacos - amazing. Fish tacos are grand!! Tostada’s are a fantastic experience and for me fun to eat. Environment is great and the owner (well the gentleman who interacted with us) was super bubbly and fun. I’m sure the lady who was smashing out the food for us is just as nice :) Forgot to mention that hot sauce!!!

This place is a beautiful little authentic slice of Mexico. Run by the nicest, sweetest most hard working people. Do not be afraid to engage with them and talk :) The food is super authentic, tasty and filling. We had 3 different tacos (beef, chicken, fish (the best)) with a tasty af homemade hot sauce. Washed down with the delicious in-house agua and sangria. Enjoyed the service and food so much we ordered chicken quasadeas for the road which were freakin amazing! If you are chasing authentic Mexican cuisine do yourself a favour and come here. I had a lovely lunch and that had nothing to do with the amazing woman I was sitting with ❤

I've been here about a half-dozen times now after some friends introduced me to it - this is the best Mexican in Adelaide, bar none. The food is exceptional, fairly priced, and authentic, whilst the owner and staff are exceptionally hospitable and friendly. You really can't go anywhere else for Mexican after you've been here. There are options for most dietary requirements, and the vegetarian options are excellent in their own right. I would recommend the nachos, and the cauliflower taco (places that do good cauliflower are few and far between, and this is definitely one of them). Homemade and bottled drinks are also available. There's so much to try here and it's all so good; the biggest struggle is choosing between all the great options! - Nick

Had tacos here for lunch today and the whole experience was fantastic. The customer server was warm, friendly and enthusiastic. The decor and environment of the place is really interesting and engaging. The food was very tasty and in good portions and the fruit drink was delicious. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or whenever you can get here - absolutely worth a try.

The environment and service was 10/10 especially as my friend was close with the owners of the place and we were able to enjoy a Star Wars movie while watching. The food itself was nice, however, it appears Mexican cuisine isn't for me and I cannot rate it higher.

I’d been dying to find a place that does a decent quesadilla for quite a while and this place exceeded my expectations more than I could imagine. I was so happy that I decided to order a second meal. The Huevos rancheros were amazing as well. Will be back on my next day off.

Been there twice now, and I have had the beef nachos, fish taco, carnitas taco (pork), and pork quesadillas. Everything has been good to great my favorite being the pork quesadillas and the fish taco (the best fish taco I’ve had in Australia). It’s nothing fancy but it’s tasty and quick and the staff is very friendly. I look forward to going back.

Did NOT expect this place to be a little nook of a lovely Mexican restaurant right in Central Market. I'm from California, where we like to think we know Mexican food, and this was just what I was hoping for. The staff was super friendly, as I was dining by myself. I had fish and carnitas tacos with beans and rice, and it was a good amount (I'm so tired of Mexican restaurants thinking they need to give you too much). They are right next to my hotel and I'm here for two more weeks, so I expect I'll be back.

A great and authentic place for delicious Mexican food. The guy who runs the joint is friendly and always takes the time to chat to customers. Pretty simple and creative set up, the décor is fun and very bright, and you always get fairly quick service considering they have a small staff. Food is tasty, hot and reasonably priced. Make sure you try the mole and an agua fresca.

This place is unreal. I've never really enjoyed (or not enjoyed) Mexican food and that's because I've not had good Mexican food. Enter Revolucion. To properly capture how fantastic this place is, you need to watch the 'Cristina Martinez' episode of Chef's Table on Netflix. I got the same feeling eating here that I did when I watched that episode. Don't want to watch it? Just get the fish tacos. This place is so bloody good.

We ordered a lot of food and while we were full after it wasn’t an uncomfortable heavy feeling like you can sometimes have. The owner is super friendly and as soon as he realised I spoke Spanish he jumped straight into it and I got to practice my first language (even though I’m very rusty these days). This place is absolutely phenomenal. Both as food in general and specifically, Mexican cuisine. I go out of my way to eat here as much as possible, it's just that good (parking on side streets in the city are free after 12 on Saturday). The price is fair and your host is very courteous and engaging. The menu is quite broad and caters to meat eaters and vegans alike. You'll enjoy a fresh agua fresca (fruit juice) while waiting for your food too and they're a highlight in of itself. Oh and the handmade deserts are to die for! Just try it, you will not be disappointed. I'm more than happy to have added Revolucion Mexicana to my regular food outings. For your first time I suggest you try nachos, beef burrito and a flan. Enjoy.

My personal favorite when visiting the Market's or Adelaide itself. The Revolución Mexicana has great food, fantastic friendly service and nice prices with weekday specials as well. Look if your after that authentic Mexican food experience it's a must and why not try a tequila or two then do some shopping in the market's and go back again if you just have to beat that craving. It's conveniently located within the Adelaide Market's and that alway's gives you an excuse to say 'I'm just heading out to do some shopping' to the partner and forfill that need for spicy food.
